The cooking class was great but we were not asked if there were any food concerns and one member of our group does not eat meat. Gila made adjustments but that shouldn’t have happened. Barbara, who took over for Marta was great and did her best to accommodate us. I definitely would not used Kimkin again and will not recommend them to others

Good morning Mr and Mrs Blume,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’re truly sorry to hear that some aspects of your trip did not completely meet your expectations.
Before your departure, Marta provided detailed information about the hotel location and the type of guided group tour in Agrigento.
Had we known that these arrangements were not entirely to your preference, we would have been more than happy to suggest alternative options.
Throughout your journey, our team did its best to accommodate your requests — adjusting transfer times and tailoring the Etna excursion —
and we were pleased that you expressed satisfaction with our flexibility and attention.
Regarding your stay in Taormina, although the hotel was fully booked, we still arranged for the possibility of a room change to improve your experience. In the end, you kindly chose to keep the original room.
As for the hotel in Syracuse, no issues were reported during your stay. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to make adjustments afterwards, but please know that our team is always available to assist immediately on site.
Palazzo Cavalieri is a highly regarded property, and we would have been happy to step in had we been informed at the time.
We remain at your full disposal for any further clarification or future travel arrangements.

Kind Regards,
Liberty Travel team

The hotels were as described and matched what was important to me: location and cleanliness being high on my list, as well as reasonable cost. Our group all came from different directions so there was lots of airport pick ups and we appreciated that. The biking routes were fantastic with many picturesque views of the sea. I loved visiting the olive oil museum and had a fabulous lunch there. Another highlight was the lunch on Mljet. My favorite island was Korcula. Our guide, Borna , was great. Always waiting for us at strategic points and always making sure we had water and snacks. Plus he had a great sense humor and great music. He made it fun. He solved problems like when the navigation app was not working and when our day was threatened by rain. Overall the planning and service was great. I’d love to do another adventure with them.

Dear Sandy,

Thank you very much for your feedback, very much appreciated. And as i always say, thank you for your trust.
I understand you got into the unknown, and into some areas you never hear of, therefore, even more, we appreciate your trust. Everything I suggest i do personally, and it was a pleasure sharing my knowledge and showing the best of the area, and its most attractive, but not necessarily well-known parts.
Sending many regards to all of you from still sunny Croatia!

Our trip to Ecuador consisted of a single day in Quito where we were warmly welcomed by a cheerful and lovely guide Francisco. He provided us with prompt and efficient city tour that included visiting the cathedrals and monuments followed by a wonderful cooking class experience.
We then flew to Caco on the edge of the Amazonian forest where we were welcomed by an extremely efficient and organized team of guides. They took their time to explain what we will be doing the next 3 days in the Napo lodge. Following a power boat and canoe rides down the Napo river, we finally arrive at the Napo lodge. The place is charming nestled immediately in front of a small lake in the middle of the tropical jungle. The next 2 days were simply out of this world and made possible by the tightly run group of guides and lodge staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly which made our stay in the lodge very pleasant. I highly recommend doing this part of the trip.
Back in Quito, we were welcomed again by our initial guide, Francisco, for an overnight stay before picking us up the next morning to head to the Galápagos Islands.
The Galapagos portion of our vacation could’ve used a bit more attention, in my opinion. There was insufficient information provided on what to expect on the excursions by the local support person, which made it difficult for us to plan what to carry with us, such as swimsuits or footwear. The last day we were told we were going to go on an excursion to Isabella island, but it turned out that we were booked on a different excursion, which was very distressing. In the last tour we were joined by a very noisy and obnoxious group which made the whole experience even more difficult. The agent was apologetic for the mistake and treated us to a lovely dinner as a sign of appreciation.
So overall, the Galapagos experience was not as pleasant as I expected it to be, and in my opinion it is a bit overrated. The tours are difficult to enjoy because the guides are always rushing to finish and keep people on schedule. So keep that in mind when planning this portion of the trip.

Hello Imad

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I truly appreciate it, and once again, please accept my sincere apologies for the confusion that occurred during the Galápagos portion of your trip. I’m glad to hear that, despite the inconvenience, you enjoyed the dinner as a gesture of appreciation.

I’m delighted that your experience in Quito started on such a positive note. Francisco is indeed an exceptional guide, and it’s wonderful to know that you felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed both the city tour and the cooking class. I’ll make sure to share your kind words with him; he’ll be very happy to hear them.

It’s also great to hear that your stay at Napo Lodge was so special. The team in the Amazon works with great dedication, and I’m pleased that you noticed their professionalism, kindness, and organization. I’ll pass along your feedback to the lodge and guides, as they play a vital role in making the experience so memorable.

Regarding Galápagos, I’m so sorry that the excursion information was not as clear as it should have been. I completely understand how important it is to know what to expect and what to bring, and I’ll reinforce communication with our local team to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

I also deeply regret the confusion regarding the Isabela excursion. I understand how frustrating that must have been and apologize for the disruption it caused. I’ve already informed the local operator to review what happened and to ensure such situations don’t occur in the future, and I’ll review with the provider how groups are organized to guarantee a more comfortable and personalized experience for our travelers. I appreciate your honesty. This kind of feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us continue improving so that future experiences feel more balanced and enjoyable.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences and appreciate that, despite everything, you still hold positive memories of parts of your journey. I’m here for anything you may need and to ensure that, if you travel with us again, your experience is perfect from start to finish.

I don't know where to start. Agnes put my safety on the line, which is absolutely not okay. I joined my dad in Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro. I arrived 2 days early and booked myself at the hotel she said my dad would be staying at, Arusha Planet Lodge. I did not find out until I was in Tanzania that my dad was not booked at the lodge. I had to figure out transport to the accurate hotel and also could have saved quite a bit of money as the hotel she had actually booked him in was much cheaper. This was the least of my worries. Several times prior to departure both my dad and I asked for the name of the guiding company. Agnes would not provide it. She then sent us a link to a company and said that is who we were going with. I asked her questions about items needed for the climb, but when she went silent and was not responding to emails I decided to email the company directly. Turns out, that was NOT the company we were hiking with. Instead, the day before we are expected to climb, we find out the name of the actual company we were actually going with. Agnes stated sleeping bags were included in our price, they were not and were added charges. The company we ended up going with is not reputable and cut corners at the expense of our health and safety. We had unpurified drinking water, to include visibly alive and swimming worm like creatures in our water bottles. My dad and I both suffered from extreme stomach illness and dehydration. All reputable companies on the mountain purify drinking water. Agnes misled us, or purposefully deceived us, at the expense of our health. From the wrong hotel, wrong trekking company, wrong inclusions, to unresponsive communication. I would never recommend she plan a trip in Tanzania and would expect this to be rectified in some way as this was not just simple confusion.

We would not recommend this activity. The river was beautiful, and the trip was very scenic. However, once we arrived at our destination, it was disappointing. Using KimKim's amazing service really deepened our experience in Iceland! Noga was amazing! Noga and Nick were great and available before and during our trip for anything! The pretrip planning was fun and the app created for us just before the trip had everything we needed, even links to All Trails hikes, our confirmation numbers for hotels, tours, and activities, details about each activity, and a suggested order to minimized the driving! We took a three week trip Sept-October 2025 and went clockwise around the country. This enabled us to see remote areas in the West Fjords before they closed for the season as well as to get to the "Golden Circle" after most tourists had left. We took several tours--an informative and very fun jeep tour in West Fjords with Dr. Gisli Margislason, a Northern Lights tour out of Isafjordur with Gudmundur Valdimarsson-- he really taught us how to see and photograph the lights--we saw them a total of 6 nights--the first time with him! Kari Timsson took us on a glacier hike in Skaftafell--He made sure the trip was fun and safe for everyone. Dagur Larusson gave delicious and very fun food tour of Reykjavik. (He is also starting food tours in Akureyri!). Each of these guides were warm, outstanding, fun, knowledgeable and accommodating to the needs of everyone in the group. All of the geo thermal hot springs we visited were great (Hussafell Canyon Baths--great guide for this one too, Forest Lagoon Pool, Myvatn Nature Baths, and Sky Lagoon). The trip was so much fun and KimKim was great to work and created a flawless trip for us!

Although it can get crowded, Pingvellir is not to be missed. The walk from the visitor's center takes you through the fissure between continents, the area believed to be the site of the first parliament, and other sites. We also took the additional walk to see Silfra Fissure where one can snorkel or dive to see the continental divide up close and personal. Our cooking class with Emmy who runs La Cuisine De Leki was magical. Her intent is not to have a technical cooking class, but to let you experience what it's like to be invited to a French home for a home cooked meal with friends or family, and she certainly succeeded.

Lucie and Slimane made this happen over months of planning with my Mom, with frequent changes and updates, but their patience and knowledge certainly turned this into a memorable trip.

The same is true for our trip to Greece. We spent 10 days splitting the time between Athens, Naxos (a trip to Mykonos), and Santorini. The accommodations were amazing with the most beautiful view and locations. The transports were on time. The private tours were informative with knowledgeable our guides. Siena put together an amazing itinerary.

We again came home with not one complaint. Everything was perfect. Thank you Kim Kim for another wonderful trip. Siena, you know your stuff. Thank you,

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the team at Original Travels for being so responsive and patient throughout the planning process. Your guidance and attention to detail helped us organize a truly wonderful honeymoon experience in Morocco, and we’re so grateful for your help from start to finish.

A major highlight of our trip was the incredible fortune we had in being paired with Soufiane as our driver. He quickly became a friend and made every part of our journey easier, safer, and more enjoyable. His professionalism, kindness, and insight into Moroccan culture brought great peace of mind and added so much to the experience. We truly cannot express how great he was — a genuine part of what made our trip special.

Marrakesh:
We really enjoyed our time in Marrakesh. Riad Elegancia was beautiful, comfortable and welcoming, with wonderful staff who decorated our room for our honeymoon which was a very nice surprise. We especially have to thank the evening attendant who gave us perfect dinner recommendations. Highlights included our hammam experience at La Mason Arabe and the sunrise hot air balloon ride — both unforgettable. We also loved exploring the square in the evening, surrounded by music, lights, and energy. The guided tour was informative, and wandering the Medina both with and without a guide gave us a great feel for the city.

Ouarzazate:
The drive through the Atlas Mountains was a memorable adventure on its own. When we arrived, an unexpected rain storm changed our plans a bit, so we skipped the movie studio and instead relaxed at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond by decorating our room for our honeymoon, a very thoughtful touch, and a beautiful hotel.

Desert Camp:
The desert camp experience was incredible and unique. The accommodations were very comfortable for the setting, and the food and evening entertainment were excellent. Our only issue was a lack of clear communication from the camp about what to expect from the day tour with them. This tour overall was our least favorite activity of the trip. We were looking forward to spending time with a Berber family and learning about their culture, but our guide clearly did not want us to engage with the local people and it was obvious when he told the women who approached us (at two different camps) not to talk to us. We were prepared to leave some money for them (as was recommended), but we never got the opportunity. For the next stop, we were interested in listening to the local African music, but once we got there, it felt incredibly exploitative. It didn't seem like the musicians ever had a break and the managers (we think?) were clearly pushing them to be more lively. I would love to support this community, but I really encourage anyone with some power to look out for these men and make this a less exploitative experience. Lastly, we were left at a very empty hotel for several hours with limited options. When we arrived at the hotel, it was dark, no one was there except for two sleeping attendants, and our guide said, "OK, you hang out here now, I'll be back in 5 hours. And if you want to swim, pay them 100 Mad (which we did because there was nothing else to do)", and then walked away leaving us standing there confused and uneasy. Our guide also said he had to get back to the camp for work as it was a very busy time with lots of guests, stranding us. The only reason we even had our bathing suits was because the night before we overheard the couple next to us at dinner be told to bring theirs, so we packed one just in case. We never discussed this with our guide (he actually told us not to worry about the tour the night before during the music portion when we asked what the plan was) and if it was up to us, we would not have gone to a pool, at all.

However, we greatly appreciated how quickly Original Travels stepped in when we contacted them and helped arranged an ATV excursion — which turned out to be one of the highlights of the desert portion of our trip and we highly recommend. When we got dropped off to go back to the camp, I could discern a conversation that our driver had with the owner and our guide about this and our guide was not truthful when he said we were the ones who asked to go to the pool early. As stated above, we had never talked with him about it and it was clearly untrue with how fast we tried to find another activity. It also felt uncomfortable for us to be left at a pool when it's clear many villages do not have water in nor around the desert. It seemed a bit unethical and like a really bad thing to do as a visitor to the country. I would not recommend this tour to anyone going to Merzouga.

Outside of this tour; however, we did really enjoy our desert experience. We also want to highlight the kindness shown by the camp in preparing a special honeymoon cake for us our first night that we were able to share with the other guests. They very much went above and beyond in celebrating our honeymoon with a special song and dance and we truly appreciated these gestures and the kindness shown by employees of the camp and the other guests. This cake and music surprise was definitely a trip highlight.

Fez:
Fez was one of our favorite stops. The Riad and its location inside the old city were fantastic, the breakfast at the Riad was delicious, and our guided tour here was the best of the trip. We took our guide’s advice and avoided the Medina at night, but loved exploring it during the day. The city’s energy and authenticity left a lasting impression.

Rabat:
Our stop in Rabat was a great way to break up the drive north, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed seeing Morocco’s coastal side.

Casablanca:
While Casablanca offered fewer tourist sites, we enjoyed our time there, especially visiting the Hassan II Mosque and walking the boardwalk. It was a relaxing way to end our journey. The Mosque is incredible and our dinner, recommended by Souf, was delicious and fun.

Finally, we want to thank Original Travels and Soufiane again for their assistance when our return flight was unexpectedly canceled. Your swift help rearranging our stay near the airport and ensuring we were taken care of right up to our departure was deeply appreciated.

Overall, our honeymoon in Morocco was an unforgettable experience — filled with beauty, culture, warmth, and adventure. We would happily recommend Original Travels and Soufiane to anyone considering exploring Morocco.

The camp fosters a real sense of community and we met some incredible travelers who we really enjoyed getting to know. The staff here were also incredibly friendly and fun. Just be sure to get clear guidance and information before you embark on their desert tour, if that's part of your stay.

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share all this feedback with us. We're really glad that overall you had a wonderful honeymoon in Morocco, and we're especially happy that Soufiane made such a positive impact on your trip - he's truly one of the best.

We need to apologize for what happened with the desert day tour. This is usually one of the highlights for our travelers, but we know it fell short for you. What happened is that our local supplier changed the guide without telling us, and this led to all the communication problems and poor experience you had. We've already contacted them about this and we've stopped working with that particular guide.

You're absolutely right about the gnaoua music stop - it has become exploitative, and we've decided to remove it from the tour completely. And regarding the pool stop, we understand your concerns. Some clients do ask for it because of the heat, but we hear you that it didn't feel right and wasn't communicated properly. We should have discussed this with you beforehand.

We're really glad we could arrange the ATV experience for you quickly and that it became a highlight. That's more the kind of experience we want all our travelers to have.

Thank you again for the kind words about Soufiane, the riads, and the rest of your trip. Your feedback helps us improve, and we're grateful you've shared it so honestly with us.

All the best,
Abdel

We had many guides and I am not sure I can remember them all but Mohamed was great, lots of fun on the food tour, encouraging us to try everything, even the snail soup! It was good. Sharif was also a great guide and shared his knowledge of Fez. Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis, Chefchaouen, all amazing and grateful to have seen them all. Faissel even arranged a guide, Omar, to take us on a hike at Akchour. Great hike, good to be out of the car for a bit. So many amazing experiences. The medinas sounded like they could be a scary place, (I don't like knowing I may get lost), but we managed to navigate them, only getting lost once. We never felt unsafe. Faissel checked on us all the time when he was not with us, making sure we didn't need anything. All in all the trip was beyond any expectations I had. Beautiful country and people. Our arrival in Portugal was seamless. Picked up at the airport by Jose and taken to the beautiful PortoBay Flores. Wehad a great evening walking tour with Andre. He was very knowledgable and shared much history with us. I must say I wasn't expecting all those hills! That said, I conquered. The trip to the Duoro Valley with wine tasting and lunch was spectacular. Philip made the day. Clearly he has a passion for this area and he shared that with us. I loved the family story behind the Quinta Do Roncao! Such love and warmth shared with us from Eunice, vineyard owner. Such a full and memorable day. The next day we were off to Lisbon. We were picked up by our driver, Albano. At our request, he was happy to make an unexpected quick detour to Obidos. We were so grateful. Such a beautiful place and we were thrilled to have had the opportunity to visit. In Lisbon we were taken to the Hotel Britania Art Deco. Yet another gorgeous, comfortable , welcoming place. Our tuk tuk tour with Catarina was a great way to get around and get the lay of then land. In the evening Pedro took us to enjoy dinner with Fado experience. Very enjoyable. Finally we had a fabulously full day in Sintra and Cascais. Nuno, so very passionate about the Pena Palace and its history and regailed us with so many stories of the past.He even managed to get us a visit at the Chalet of the Condessa d' Elda. Such an unusual and beautiful place and well worth the long walk from the palace. What can I say about the Initiation Well?? Certainly a site not to be missed, but very crowded. Though it was crowded the line did move along fairly quickly. So many experiences here in Portugal and I am sure I probably forgot some people or places. I'm exhausted!! The only thing I would have changed would have been taking 2 days in Sintra. We could have spent so much more time exploring that area. Guess we will have to come back. Thank you Adam for all your help and for keeping track of us while we were traveling.
