Wonderful location - close to all sights but also a bit out of the way of the super busy Vieux port areas. Modern with all the amenities and a great breakfast. They are doing renovations but that did not disturb our stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel overlooking the water in Vieux Lyon. Perfect location, incredible service and delicious food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lyon!

Gorgeous views and delicious wine. We enjoyed the beautiful market in Cassis and the very in depth wine tour in Bandol. Our guide was so knowledgeable and welcoming and the drive let us see so many different parts of Marseille and the countryside.

Our guide was so friendly and took us to some unique locations that were outside of the super busy areas. Food variety was great and fueled us for the walk. We also learned so much about Marseille and enjoyed the views.

What an awesome way to view the night sky!! The view from our dome was amazing!! We had all the comforts of home. The owners were great. Patrick knew we were looking for off the beaten path kind of sight seeing. He gave us directions to “Danseys pass”. Wow! Is all we can say. A one way gravel road that allowed us to view the mountains of New Zealand. Our glamping experience was awesome!!

Good location. Staff very helpful and reasonable price for our laundry. Not hard to walk into town.

Great location with inconsistent but adequate parking options. Suite #7 was nice, although the door was only about 5 feet high. Breakfast was outstanding.

NLH is in an excellent location. Easy to walk around for dinner and attractions. Only minor issue was the noise at night from the street below.

This site is older so you have to use your imagination a bit more outside of the tombs. However it is well worth visiting.

Large scale!

We definitely had interest in Archaeology and the site fit that bill well. Many folks might not like that it was just an excavation site, but that was part of its appeal to us. The guide helped explain what we were seeing.

Delphi was interesting and worth visiting.

Hitting the highlights of the Acropolis and Agora with a strong tie-in to mythology. Very interesting!

Messene was an unexpected gem. It is a BIG site which really let you feel the extent and layout of the town.

The guide was very knowledgeable and really explained the site and its significance. Could not have been better.

There are not enough stars to rate this activity. It was the best of our trip. The olive oil tasting was interesting and the guide was a professional who explained how she did her work. The tour of the facility was good. The meal after the tasting was the best of the trip. Incredible home cooked food!

Perfectly paced and hit all the right places. Our guide (Maria) was extremely enthusiastic and on top of things.

This was, I believe, the best tour of our trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of the coliseum and Ancient Rome.

The tour was a small group tour of 6 individuals. Our tour side, Alexando, was extremely knowledgeable and provided amazing insights regarding the Vatican and Sistine Chapel

Our tour, Laura, was friendly and amazingly knowledgeable Labour all aspects of Sorrento. It was very private tour…just my wife and myself.

Our driver, Angelo, was extremely skilled, which is necessary to tackle the winding and congested route along the Amalfi coast. He also was quite a character, serenading us all along the trip. It was like being in a Venetian gondola…

Our driver John Franco was quite skilled, and his English was perfect

Not only was our driver Maximo skilled he was also extremely charming. He drove us to the village where my grandparents born. Once there, he also served as a de facto interpreter as our contacts in the village spoke about as much English as I do Italian…

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. No concierge and no shuttle. No staff available to help.

This experience was unlike anything I've ever done. The space was clean and the owners really made us feel special! They're a wonderful small business to support!

Grand Hotel Excelsior was an absolute gem! It has amazing views, great service, and was very authentic. We were in a newly renovated room and it was perfect! Having a balcony overlooking the coast was such a wonderful way to wake up each day. The room was always clean and the staff so helpful. The shuttle was so much more valuable than we realized. Scheduling is easy and it always ran on time. It made getting to the pier and city center a breeze.

The hotel was trendy and clean, but situated in a very busy area. Leaving the hotel was like walking into a high school assembly with chaos everywhere. We got nearly no sleep as there was noise from the ally below all night long. It sounded like glass breaking over and over again. We were also unable to keep the air or fan on throughout the night, making us very uncomfortable. In addition to the above, the hotel would not help with our bags as we had been promised. Quite frustrating given the hotel entrance is hidden in an ally. The front door locks in the evening and you need to be buzzed up. Not an issue if someone is at the front desk to let you in, but this was not always the case. We had a few stressful evenings not knowing when someone would actually let us in, and got lucky to go in after others had exited the building. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if any other option is available.

Vanity Hotel is perfectly situated in Rome! It is just a few minutes to Piazza Navona and everything is within a 20 minute walk. The hotel was clean and quite, and check-in and out was a breeze.

We spent some time with a very lovely family who helped celebrate my husband´s birthday.

Stayed in two Terra Via hotels - very nice and great locations/staff. However both rooms did not have a refrigerator which would have been nice.

Entire two day excursion was amazing - diverse landscapes.

Despite the fantastic rooftop bar, the attentive staff, and the convenient location, we found the rooms to be a bit worn out, and it felt like the hotel caters primarily to large bus tours.

Manuel picked us up for a drive to Douro valley to Quinta do Val Moreira. Wine tour and tasting followed by some amazing valley view finding then back to the winery for lunch. After that we had a boat tour before heading back to Porto via scenic valleys and hills.

What an amazing experience- getting to learn to make a delicious seafood dish in this delightful kitchen. Highly recommended for local and visiting friends!

we met back up with Manuel again and met Tania (our guide for the morning). We had a whirlwind drive to see the coast and city center of Porto before crossing the Douro river to Gaia for a visit at Ferreira Port Caves for a tour and tasting. Then up to Miradouro da Serra do Pilar for a view of Porto and the wall. Back over the river for some additional driving views around the city

Manuel picked us up and drove us to Porto with long stops at the medieval Óbidos and coastal Nazaré. Phenomenal Seafood lunch with wine in Nazaré.

we were picked up by Vanessa (guide) and Samir (driver) and taken to the eclectic Pena Palace, where every texture and design and style and culture meet. Then a dive into the winding streets of Sintra for shopping and lunch where Vanessa also surprised us with a birthday treat for mom! Followed up with a trip to the beach. Then a private tour of the family owned Quinta De San Michel winery

Fantastic location, no stairs to get to the hotel! If you haven't been to Positano before, this is a huge advantage for this property. The staff is awesome, food is excellent and the rooms are big, bright and clean.

The food and wine were outstanding!! we had a 5 bottle tasting paired with 4 courses of food - come hungry b/c the food is outstanding and the wine even better. They served a 30 year old balsamic vinegar that was life changing and makes all regular balsamic pale in comparison. A great range of wines with their lone white and multiple reds - made for a great afternoon.

Having a small group ride to Capri was the way to go. Getitng a chance to see the whole island from the water so you could see the various grotto's was worth the time and money. With 12 people abord, made it a good size to hear the information and enjoy some space on the boat. The crew made the trip fun, serving drinks before and after time on Capri and even supplied a great caprese sandwich which saved a lot of money for lunch on the island!

This hike was breathtaking! Smartest thing we did was to get car service to begin in Bomerano and enjoy the views walking toward Nicolle (aka Positano) . Enzo our guide was a great historian sharing the rich history of the path, area and how people lived for hundreds of years. Can't recommend him enough for personality, creating a great pace which made the hike very enjoyable. Having a car at the end to avoid the long walk down was critical to not ruining our knee's for the rest of the trip.

Luxury accommodations, hospitable staff that went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable! Breakfast was so yummy and the grounds are gorgeous!
