Cami’s (our local specialist) planning was fantastic. I had to change my trip dates several times and she remained incredibly patient with me and ensured everything went smoothly through the entire planning process. The trip itself was amazing. There was one slip up regarding a driver showing up very late to pick us up from our hotel, but it was not at all Cami’s fault or the hotel’s, and she was very quick to reach out to the company who dispatched the driver. I was very hesitant at first because I had never used this service. However, the overall experience was incredible and I would highly recommend both a visit to the Philippines, as well as Kim Kim’s services.

This was my first trip using Kimkim. I was unsure of how to book a successful trip to Peru from Los Angeles. I was very quickly contacted by Jessica who worked with me for a couple of months to hammer out a wonderful itinerary. This included several changes to dates and travelers but there were never any problems with updating the arrangements.

I would like to be clear that this trip was absolutely amazing. Everything Jessica booked for us was wonderful. We had great accommodations and knowledgible and fun tour guides throughout the trip with all of our transfers and driving handled. (We did need to book our own air travel but Jessica was very up front about that so it was no problem).

We even had some problems come up (a strike in Peru that would limit road travel) and Kimkim hopped on it to make sure our days in Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu went well. This was Kristy who jumped in and got us moved to a hotel that would not disrupt our trip. Even better, that day we took a fairly exclusive alternate tour which was still super fun and interesting. Kimkim's communication and initiative made that possible and we are very appreciative.

I would recommend this group again and again. It made for a fun and painless trip that was truly memorable.

I planned this trip VERY last minute, and Maria was very responsive and helpful with a nice itinerary that took into account somewhat limited availability due to high-season. The final itinerary was terrific. But, alas, the day before we arrived there were torrential rains and flooding that knocked our bridges and highways, so our journey to Bergen on the railroad was cancelled. Flights were already fully booked, but Maria offered the option of renting a car, or staying in Oslo for a longer period. As a Californian, driving was not appealing, so we opted to stay in Oslo for a full week. What a great choice! We had an absolutely wonderful time, and while we hope to come back to see Bergen and points north, this really couldn't have been a more splendid trip. While in-country Fenne and Meree provided amazing on the ground support, responding almost instantly to our questions and helping us roll with the punches. Also, having missed the Bergen portion of our trip, Meree was able to refund us the costs associated with that component. Above and beyond!

Planning our Bali trip with KimKim was super easy and Ana was super present with us as we had questions/changes. This was our first time in Bali so we relied on Ana's expertise in planning. The lodging was excellent. We were pampered for sure. Highlights were massages and an Indonesian cooking class. the VW tour we took was great. Wayan was a great guide and we had a great day. Highlights were a coffee tour and the rice terraces. All the drivers were prompt and knew where to go. At times, we needed to advocate for what we wanted/didn't want to do, but they were flexible. I am not sure we would climb Mt Batur again (at 3am), though it was beautiful to watch the sunrise (bring 2 jackets!). Nusa Penida was also spectacular for snorkeling.

Overall our trip was amazing. The Katla Ice Cave was a highlight and Maria from Troll Expeditions was great. Also, kayaking at the Glacier Lagoon and our whale watching excursion with Laki tours in Olafsvik were both fantastic.

Our trip was fabulous! I so appreciate all of the help and guidance given by Majid during the planning process. He was thoughtful and considerate of our requests and delivered exactly what we requested. Our diver, Hamid, was absolutely wonderful! He shared so much with us about Morocco's history and culture and knew so much about each region we traveled through. His enthusiasm for his country was contagious and he authentically shared so much wonderful information. He took us to a "bar b q" restaurant on the side of a road in a random small town that was incredible! Our 3-day journey from Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou to Merzouga to Fez (I learned of this itinerary from another Kimkim review) was long with a lot of hours in the car, but it was worth it and the best way to see a lot of Morocco. Hamid made it all worthwhile and enjoyable. I hope to book more trips with Kimkin in the future! Many thanks for such a memorable experience.

Ashley was extemely helpful and accommodating from the start. She planned a trip with all our preferences and desires. She planned a great trip leaving me with a great vietnamese experience. We got a taste of the local culture as well as fine dining and some rest and relaxation.

I really enjoyed this adventure. The staff tried to make it as safe and fun. You get a break for a drink or ice cream to purchase. Showers and towels offered at the end of ATVing.

We had an amazing honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with Costa Rica! The tour guides were so knowledgeable and passionate about their country. The hotels we stayed at were lovely and staff always went above and beyond to make sure we had a special experience. We plan to make Costa Rica a yearly trip and can’t wait to go back.

We had an amazing trip to Thailand. Tina provided us an unforgetable itinerary of unique experiences in three different areas of Thailand. All very unique and different from each other. So happy we got to see all these difference facets of Thailand. Our local guides and drivers were polite and caring and very knowledgeable and deeply cared that we had a great experience.

Authentic Thai Cooking Class in a Traditional House!

This was such a fun experience! It greatly surpassed my expectations. We made food from scratch that I didn't think could be made in the time frame of a cooking class. And the food was delicious. Really the best tasting food we had. Hint: go hungry because you will have a hard time eating all the food.

Half-Day Eco Elephant Care!

This was one of our favorite activities. While it is a tourist activity, it provided us a rare glimpse at the amount of work of feeding and taking care of these beautiful creatures in a way that felt very authentic. We started by driving on the back of a truck to a farm to cut down with machetes the plants to feed the elephants, carrying the food back, cutting it into pieces and feeding the elephants. We also made rice balls to feed them additional vitamins. We made natural sponge and soaps for the bath from the trunk of a tree. We hightly recommend this activity for a humane and authentic way to interact with elephants and help their caretakers.

Overall the trip was great, and good activity suggestions from our KimKim specialist. Going to, and staying in Odda was a highlight. The one thing I would change was the itinerary for Bergen: there were 2 cable car / funicular rides up the mountains above the town with activities suggested for the top. I believe it should have been 1 such activity, and let us choose during the trip design phase. One was a bike ride at the top (Floibanen), the other would have been hikes/ walks at the top (Ulriken).

We had an amazing time in Norway! Thanks to Anna from Kimkim team, the planning was meticulous and the team was helpful in making some changes to our itinerary when we wanted to during the trip. We were able to cover Pulpit Rock, Bergen, Flam and the bike ride from Myrdal to Flam (best part of the trip!) and of course the stunning beauty of the fjords and Norway in general. We couldn’t take our eyes off the fantastic scenery during the train ride from Bergen to Oslo. The Kimkim team also had backups during the weekend when our main planner was on vacation and that interaction was very pleasant and easy.
Norway is a great destination to travel not only because of its natural beauty but also because of the people! Will be planning Lofoten Islands soon :) The only thing that did not go according to plan was the walking tour of Oslo when there was historic rain one day that disrupted train schedules and the guide couldn’t make it on time. We were promised the refund for that. All in all, great experience and a definite bucket list for those who love nature!

The trip was amazing. Booking with Kimkim was very easy. Once we got paired with our local specialist, Ashley, she started the process. She asked about the type of experience we wanted to have (city only vs city and nature) and places we would like to visit in particular. We selected city and nature and gave her a few names of places. We also agreed on a luxury package. 7 days 3 nights in Hanoi/ha long bay and 3 nights in Saigon.
She went right to work and produced a detailed itinerary draft. From there we went back and forth adding and changing things. Kudos for your patience Ashley! There were 4 of us chiming in. You handled it like a true pro and came up with the perfect itinerary. Ashley even coordinated reservations to restaurants we wanted to dine at at the last minute. We dined at Tam vi in Hanoi and Anna Saigon in Saigon. Both Michelin stars restaurants.
Our tour guides Vietnam were amazing: Sum (pardon my spelling) in Hanoi was awesome. He made sure we were safe and accounted for at all times. Showed us everything we wanted to see, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, took us to train street. We were there on a Saturday night and he took us around the city to check out the night life. It was amazing! The street food tour was GREAT! We tried several
Dishes at local eateries, seating on the streets among locals. Accommodation in Hanoi: the peridot hotel and the capella cruise for one night at ha long bay. The staff in both places was truly amazing. So so helpful! Both places were immaculate clean.
Flight to Saigon was also included in our package. The accommodation was the Myst Dong Khoi hotel, located in an excellent area. Walking distance to bars and fun things to do on our down time. the hotel was great super clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. Rooms were spacious which was great because we elected to room in pairs, so we got two double bed rooms for the 4 of us. Our tour guide was Long (again selling is off sorry) very knowledgeable guide. He answered the million questions we had regarding the places we visited and the country itself. We visited the cu chi Viet Cong tunnels ( we even crawled through them). We also check out the independence place and took a day trip to the Mekong Delta.
All transport was private only for the 4 of us. Comfortable and clean vehicle. In both cities we had the same the same drivers (one in each city) for the days we were there which was nice and reassuring.
The experience was truly one of a kind and I feel we were taken care of at every turn. Ashley checked in on us constantly which was also very reassuring.

Another favorite! What a great experience! They picked us up in a 4 by 4 jeep, very spacious. And we went from mountain to the beach. That day was one of my friend’s birthday and the guide and driver helped us decorate the Jeep with balloons for her. We were able to seat on the top of the Jeep as well.

I loved the end result of the climbing! That sunrise was glorious! The hiking was brutal 😂 as I am no hiker but it was well worth it. Our guide was Kutu a 24 year old local girl. She was great she allowed us as many breaks we needed without judging 😂. It took us a little over 2 hours (other people finish it in less time) and we made it with time to spare and waited for the sunset.

She was responsive and able to make changes during planning when requested. She understood what would work best for us and provided great tips in the itinerary.

Guides who were especially good were Johnathan for the Silfra snorkel and Pawel for the ice cave.

We had an absolutely amazing trip to France using KimKim! We started in Paris, then headed to Reims, followed by Annecy and Chamonix. All of our hotels were fantastic and all of our guides were outstanding. Josée was great to work with - we only had a few issues that were dealt with quickly and corrected. This is the second time we’ve used kimkim in the past 12 months and it’s been nothing but fabulous. Highly recommending using them - we certainly will in the future!

Iceland was an amazing experience! It was so lovely to have KimKim handle everything from hotels to excursion tickets to the rental car. We really didn't have to think about anything! Our trip plan included driving maps, so we knew how long we would drive each day and the sights we would encounter along the way. We had a couple of hiccups due to weather (including losing a day of our trip bc of flight cancellations), and KimKim responded very quickly to our issues and moved things around. Our favorite town was Stykkisholmur, and we loved the gorgeous landscapes we drove through to get there. The Folklore Tour was an amazing addition to our time in Reykjavik, and we really felt like we got a good feel for the South Coast and western Iceland. Terry did a wonderful job incorporating the sights we wanted to visit and keeping us within budget for the trip. She made sure we received relevant information about clothing and food in Iceland as well as the detailed itinerary for the trip in a timely manner. We would absolutely use KimKim again!

I had a great time on the Lava Tunnel Tour. It was really cool and informative. The guide took us through three different levels in the tunnel and gave us a history of how it was created by volcanoes. The guide also made sure to shine his light on different areas so that we could take pictures. It was fun, a bit damp, but nothing too crazy. I'm glad we were able to add this to our itinerary.

The tour guide:Dedy was so very kind and very thoughtful. Always tried to make our requests a reality.
One thing I could say is the Bali transportation was a little cramp especially for those sitting in the back. The jeep was a little better.
Ashley was always responsive and available. Ashley, Dedy helped make Valarie’s bday experience the best ever. I think we counted 4-5 different places sang happy birthday and provided her with either a cake or a drink that day, and I believe that was partly due to Ashley’s communication and doing.

The guides to the person (especially Gaspar in Barcelona and Rafael in Sevilla) were all excellent and we learned so much in each place we visited. The customer service, including from Marina and those who covered for her on the weekend, was also excellent. We would definitely use Marina again for Spain next time we visit and kimkim for other countries. In all, thank you for helping us put together a memorable honeymoon. We will be forever grateful!
