This was an awesome trip. As I’ve been telling people since we are home “my heart is full (everything went very smoothly), my head is full (many historical details/dates, Greek mythology etc.), my belly is full ( loved the Greek food) but my body is tired! (Good tired). I would echo Keith/Phyllis's review concerning the guides. Four of us wear hearing aids which at times was difficult to hear, especially women’s voices which are higher pitched making it more difficult to understand. But overall just an amazing trip. Thanks for accommodating our requests. You’re the best!

Brenda and I are experienced international travelers and now as retirees we made this 1st time decision to use a travel agency service with an assigned driver and the trip planned for us. The 7 days in Northern Morocco were rewarding, well planned, informative and flexible as we went through the 7 days. Our driver, Soufian Belkach, was excellent. He was patient, courteous, professional in every way, safe as a driver, providing warnings about where not to venture on our own in the evening hours, and willing to chat with us about life in Morocco. This helped us to understand Moroccan Culture. The guides were well trained and educated us, taking time to personalize our tours. It will take time for us to process all we saw and experienced. The places we slept were clean, attractive, and well serviced. The amazing Riad in Fez is a stunning environment. I should be on the tour itself as a place to go for a meal and simply view its beauty and charm. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable which takes away from the amazing environment. The other facilities where we slept were very comfortable. We appreciate the flexibility in adjusting daily as needed and we credit Soufian with that as he would advise and then communicate with others to ensure we continued to enjoy the 7 days. A tip, it is a good idea to sit down with the guide prior to the tour to discuss what we want to see and do and our limitations as well. Guides cannot read our minds.

This hotel is an authentic Moroccan riad. It is so beautiful and elaborate. It is like walking through an art gallery. Every time we walk through, we find something to admire. It is a work of art! It is a marvel.

This is more of an authentic Moroccan riad that we read and hear about. This is it! It is a must see. We were so glad to have stayed there.

It is close to the medina and walkable to many restaurants and sights to see.

The staff were very friendly. Upon our arrival, they had a guide to show us around because the place is huge and so beautiful. The staff were very attentive and helpful if we ask a question or need help.

Cleanliness & Comfort

The place is very clean and lovely however our bed and bedding were not that comfortable. The sofa in the room was also not very comfortable. The bed and sofa were hard, the blanket very heavy for warmer weather. We were unsure if that is a typical Riad? The water pressure in the shower was weak. Other than that, breakfast was a "feast" too much for just two people. They went out of their way to serve me gluten free bread which is most appreciated.

This is a very magical place. We loved the "birds eye" view from the hotel to the town of Chefchaouen. Our room was beautifully furnished.

This is an like an authentic Moroccan Riad in style and decor but modernized with lovely amenities like a bathtub, shower, indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and a terrace. There are many places to sit on the terrace.

Location

This Riad was situated high on a mountain plateau overlooking the town of Chefchaouen but with walking trails to the town itself. It is a beautiful and serene place among the Atlas mountains. We can see the tops of the mountain range.

Staff

They were very personable and ensured that our stay was pleasant. The food was excellent.

Cleanliness & Comfort

It is a newer hotel and everything was clean and new. The bed and bedding was very comfortable.

Hilton Garden Inn Tanger City Centre

The hotel is lovely and symbolizes the excellence of the Hilton chain of hotels. However, it is part of the Hilton hotel chains. It can be a bit impersonal.

It is a typical hotel. The ambience is nice and comfortable. There are places to sit outside of the hotel room.

Location

It is close to the beach and the boardwalk to stroll as well as many stores and restaurants to visit. There is a mall next to the hotel too.

The service at the restaurant is very nice. The front desk staff were okay. It is a big hotel and very impersonal.

Everything was very clean and the furnishings nicely appointed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable.

This is a nice hotel in Casablanca but in an area that is very busy with a lot of traffic and not much to see. However the service and room at this hotel is lovely and impeccable and the food wonderful.

We arrived on Len's birthday, May 15. We told the restaurant staff that it was his birthday. They surprised us with a cake and the staff sang the birthday song in Arabic, the next table full of Spanish visitors sang in Spanish, it was lovely.

Guided Tour of Hassan II Mosque

We arrived at 3:39 pm due to heavy traffic. We were able to see the beautiful waterfront and the Mosque but it was closed and the next tour was at 5 pm. We did not want to wait until then so we opted to just walk around but we cannot walk around the Mosque either. I was rather disappointed because I was hoping to be able to walk around and tour the Mosque but honestly by the 7th day, Len and I were a bit pooped from all the traveling and touring all week. We enjoyed seeing the sea and the lovely homes in the area.

Private Transfer from Fes to Casablanca via Rabat: Journey to Morocco's Modern Heart

We enjoyed visiting Rabat on our way from Casablanca to Tangier. we went with a local guide in the medina at Rabat. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and we enjoyed the tour. We ended with a lovely tea break at the tearoom there. It was about an hour break for us which we appreciate. On the way back, it was a long ride- 4 hours so we asked to stop at Rabat again. This time without a guide. We wandered a bit then had a tea break again. It was 30 minutes this time.

Our guide at Rabat was knowledgeable and when we said we only have an hour, kept it short and led us to the tearoom which is nice.

Jewish Heritage Tour of Fez

The guide was very patient and wonderful. He showed us the Jewish quarter, the Jewish cemetery and many other places. The tour was a bit long and he kept wanting to show us more and more places. By then, we were tired and hungry. I asked for a tea break. He said one more place then a tea break but it went on and on. By that time, we have been touring for almost 8 hours which was too much for us. We should have been firm and say, that is fine, that is enough. But we did ask to be shown where I can purchase argan oil and oud oil. We saw so many cool things that we do appreciate the time given us. It was just too long.

We saw a tannery, how they dye clothes and leather, and many artisanal craftsman workshops like coppersmith, sewing, weaving, fish market, etc, etc. So many places that we lost count of what we have seen.

I wish the guide would respect when we state that we need to stop and take a tea break. I noticed the guide asked someone to bring him a sandwich so he can eat while continuing to guide us, huh?! What about us. sigh... But actually he was a very knowledgeable and wonderful guide. We just need to be more clear what we wish to do as we expect to have dinner with a Moroccan family that night.

Soufain was there when it was time for us to leave. The guide kept telling him to go to different places. Finally we said, no, we will get off here and walk to our Riad after going for our tea break much later around 5 pm!!

Chefchaoeun to Fez via Volubilis, Moulay Idriss & Meknes

We stopped and toured at Volubilis Punic-Roman ruins. Wow, we cannot imagine how they built the homes without machinery- those heavy stones and such precision - straight and perfectly aligned! We enjoyed touring on our own and taking pictures. It is well worth the stop to visit!!

Being able to explore on our own even though they do provide guides for a small fee. We opted to read the signs and figure out the lay of the ruins.

We were supposed to go through Meknes and Idriss but we started a bit late and we were tired of the long ride so asked Soufain if there was a shorter way to Fes. He obliged and shortened our ride to Fes. That was our choice and we appreciate Soufain's flexibility.

Guided Exploration of the "Blue City" Chefchaouen

This is by far the best experience we had on this tour. Our guide was very patient and knowledgeable. We learned so much on this tour about the town and its customs such as painting the houses and steps blue every Spring as a rite. We get to see young girls doing that. There were many steps but because of the slower pace, we were able to keep up. At one point we asked to sit at a cafe for tea and pastries. We also met two young Deaf men who I was able to chat and learn more about Deaf education in Morocco. Our guide knew a bakery that sells gluten free cookies so I was able to enjoy the pastries, which is a plus. We are so in love with this blue and white town. The people we encounter were very friendly, the artisans and natives. The riad we stayed at was beautiful and the view exceptional. The air was pure and clean. Love it.

Guided Tour of Tangier

Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us the medina, artisan crafts and bazaars of Tangier as well as the Jewish quarter and synagogues etc. Shared a lot of fascinating history. We never discussed our needs prior to this guided tour, our guide was young and energetic. Since Len has to interpret what the guide said in sign language for me, it takes time for one language to another so by the time, our guide has already left for the next place- not enough time for me to ask questions. This tour has a lot of steps too. It was harder for me with a bad knee to keep up with the guide. So we feel a bit rushed and trying to keep up. We realize it was on us to clarify what we need- a slower pace even if it means missing some places to show us, which is fine. We learned so much already.

We loved seeing the famous Baba restaurant, the Jewish synagogues, the Roman tombs carved in the rocks, the medina and artisan crafts.

Quick Tour of Casablanca with your Driver-Guide

It is not our driver's fault. Our flight was delayed so by the time we arrived, it was very late and during rush hour in Casablanca. The traffic was terrible and we were exhausted too so our driver agreed to drop us off at the hotel Barcelo in Casablanca. To be honest, we were not so impressed with the city- so much traffic and the area the hotel was in was not that nice. That was our first impression of Casablanca, sad but true. However on our return trip back to Casablanca from Fes, Soufain showed us the Mosque and the beach/waterside. It was a lovely part of town. We enjoyed seeing that and the lovely homes in the area. As we arrived late, we missed being able to go on a guided tour of the Mosque and to visit other places like the Rex cafe which is not a must. By the 7th day, we were a bit tired of touring, I must admit. Soufain understood and respected our decision.

Our driver, Soufain was flexible and listened to our wishes not to drive around Casablanca but to drop us off at the hotel at our request.

Soufain the driver is awesome. He is patient, professional and listens when we asked to return to our hotel. During the course of the 7 days of travel, we chatted about our families, funny stories, our experiences etc. It was a pleasant ride.

Katsu planned us a beautiful trip to Japan during the first two weeks of May. We had an in depth discussion when we first started talking about our priorities for the trip. We centered in on food and nature experiences as the most important focus of our 12 days in Japan and Katsu put together the perfect itinerary. From basking in onsens to wandering through moss gardens and eating delicious Japanese food in between we had truly special experiences surrounded by the unique natural beauty of the mountains and sea side towns of Japan. Katsu was kind attentive and kept an eye out for our best interests in the entire time ensuring that each activity we did allowed us to spend our time in the best way possible.

Alfonso and Urania were excellent to work with. We had a number of changes including two members of our party who had to cancel because of medical reasons. Alfonso responded graciously with each change of plans. Our hotels and the activities booked for us were a perfect fit . We have enjoyed all aspects of the trip.

All the guides were knowledgeable, certified, and on time. We enjoyed having them as guides. The best was the guide we had in Naxos food tour .

Considering the cold weather and wind, we think there was no need to the two boat tours . The water was cold and the sea was choppy. We could have those two days scheduled differently. Elena should have told us more detailed information as to what to expect, what to wear, and what to eat.

We liked the breaks we had on arrival and departure days in each location.

Both boat experiences were useless and boring. Maybe it could be better in late May or mid June.

You should have provided more info about taxes and VAT.

Hotel Gormero - a bit dated but the beautiful lush grounds with warm and super helpful staff more than made up for it.
The only disappointment was not seeing any fish on our snorkeling excursion.

Kimkim made our large family’s Greece trip, including our small children, absolutely unforgettable, expertly managing diverse itineraries and multiple stops. The spacious rental van was perfect, keeping the kids comfortable and happy during travel between destinations. We stayed at the beautiful Monasteri Guest House, a former monastery whose historic charm and stunning architecture fascinated the kids. After checking in, we watched the sunset over the Meteora rocks, a magical moment our children adored, followed by an authentic Greek dinner at a local taverna in Kalampaka, where the kids gleefully tried new flavors. Meteora’s breathtaking monasteries were awe-inspiring, and the kids were thrilled by the towering rocks and stories of monks, blending stunning views with rich history. In Galaxidi, we stayed at Mira Mare, where the charming environment and yummy breakfast delighted the children, though the beds weren’t very comfortable. The Delphi tour was incredible, brought to life by our exceptional guide, Ilektra, whose passionate storytelling captivated even our little ones, who hung onto her every word. We fell in love with the authentic lunch at the olive grove—a perfect moment where the kids played happily in the serene setting. The transfer into Athens was seamless, keeping the children content, and the accommodations at Athens Manor House were ideal, offering a cozy space for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the vibrant Plaka, with its colorful streets and shops that our kids found endlessly exciting, and visiting the iconic Acropolis, where the children were amazed by the ancient ruins and their grand history. The Greek culture and people were incredible, their warmth and love for children and family shining through in every interaction, making our adventure truly special. Kimkim’s flawless planning and thoughtful details ensured our small children enjoyed every experience, making this trip extraordinary. Highly recommend for any family adventure in Greece!

The rooms were on the smaller side, however for the “triple” it was only 2 twin beds pushed together with a division in the middle, and another twin bed. The beds were not very comfortable either. I was too busy to really think much about this trip before we went, so I really had to trust Rita to create a fun itinerary with nice places to stay. She did a great job on both accounts. Each time we got to a new hotel we were so pleasantly surprised at how lovely they were, especially the Parador hotel and the Puebloastur spa hotel. I wouldn't have necessarily even thought to book the breakfast included option, but Rita did and we were really glad to have that option every morning. Almost all of the hotels we stayed in had really good breakfasts with a wide variety of food available.
The itinerary was really fun. We went to places I don't think I would have known about if I had tried to plan the trip on my own. I was grateful to have tickets purchased in advance and guides all booked in advance. Everything went really smoothly with tickets and the guides being on time and very knowledgeable about the area in which they were guiding. Almost all of them were born in the area where they were guiding. There was a really great variety of sites and locations on our itinerary from countryside, to towns, to cities and islands, to beaches, to forests, to mountains. We had a good mix of cultural sites and activities, as well.
I think the weakest part of the experience was the limited amount of information we had about the driving days and what to see along the way. The app would suggest a few places to stop but I didn't have a good sense of what to do there. It would have been better, in my opinion, to choose one or two stops with just the one main attraction in that place because when you're driving from one place to the next, you don't have much time in each location. Also, it would have been nice to have specific walking routes or short hiking routes outlined for us in the app for each location.
Another think I appreciated about the team was how responsive they were when we were in the middle of the trip. A couple of times we wanted to schedule last minute activities and they were able to do that for us, even on weekends.
I would definitely recommend Rita to other friends who might be interested in the same kind of tour that we did. We appreciated the attention we received, ESPECIALLY since we actually had to cancel the original trip due to us getting covid three days before we were supposed to leave for Spain. Rita rescheduled the whole thing for 10 months later, no problem. That was great.

Puebloastur Eco-Resort Wellness & Spa in the mountains was a highlight. The location was stunning, and the hotel featured an incredible art collection with beautiful sculptures. The spa was very nice, and the overall experience there was truly memorable. I enjoyed it so much that I found myself texting pictures to friends. Definitely a place I would recommend!

Our trip to Costa Rica was so much fun! The accommodations were fantastic, providing comfort and stunning scenery at every stop. Wildlife sightings stole the show and made the adventure unforgettable, from colorful birds to swinging monkeys to serene sloths hidden among the trees. We even bought a wildlife guide to help us check off and identify all the amazing animals! Exploring the outdoors was a dream—walking across hanging bridges, witnessing majestic waterfalls, and immersing ourselves in the beauty of lush forests.

The food was delicious. One particularly memorable dinner came from our specialist's recommendation, where we dined while hummingbirds zipped past us—it was an unforgettable experience! We would recommend this destination and can't wait to return for an even longer stay!

We had an incredible experience! From the beginning we felt heard and considered in what we were planning. We felt our trip was made to reflect our passions and desires while also trying new things. The little things really shown through in how Eleanor picked things for us and the tiny details we wouldn’t have known to consider ie booking trains after hotel check out times so we didn’t have big gaps where we had to lug bags around, booking our trains tickets closest to the door so we could find them easier.. we really felt as though she thought of us and ease of travel in a new place. She communicated so well throughout the trip but just enough for us to know she was there supporting us if needed.

Firzt of all Sofia or her team was not based in Paris. She never came on line may be after 7th of May. Eexcept on arrival day transport from Airport to Hotel, all other trips where totally totally not as expected. First of all it may be our wrong understanding that transportation to various sight seeing locations are included. Since it has not been included, in the beginning itself our purpose of requesting you to arrange for local sight seeing has been disappointed. Evan driver of Vintage car has not been informed correctly about our hotel location. By the time he understood about our hotel,it was too late. Then he said he will come in the evening. It was nightmare in the evening due to heavy trafic. By the time he took two rounds he said my time is over and he left us in front of Opera. It was originally planed to drop in the Opera area as per moarning program since we had Opera visit was at 11 a.m. to 12.30 am. In the evening he should have dropped us near the hotel it self for which he never agreed. Initially Moulin Rouge Caberet has planed. After making the payment, we have been told that since it was not available, it has been changed to Paradise latin which was not at all a good performance as we expected. Any how we have completed the tour and it was not at all an value for money which we have paid. May be our expectations are very high or we are laking in our understanding. We felt that only tickets to the various sight seeing places have been booked by your side which we could have done our own. Since we wanted some personalized tour was required we have approached you. Regret for having booked the tour.

We recently returned from a wonderful trip organized through KimKim. Overall, everything went smoothly, and we had a great experience. Both Seiara and Greg were outstanding to work with—responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. This is not our first time using KimKim, and one of the things we've always appreciated is the opportunity to work with local agents who really know the destination.

All the guides we had in-country were excellent, and we felt well taken care of throughout our travels. The only hiccup was with two long day trips we ended up canceling. Locals and other travelers we met advised us that those particular excursions weren’t worth the time or expense—and in hindsight, we agree.

This has made us reflect on the value of working directly with agents who live in the destination country. Their firsthand experience and insight seem to make all the difference when it comes to recommending which tours and experiences are truly worthwhile.

We still very much appreciate KimKim and will use the platform again—but with a preference for local expertise wherever possible.

Both guides as well as the horseback and bike riding tours were very good. We had great experiences on all 4 counts. All activities were perfectly planned. There was no confusion anywhere, we felt that we were in great hands for all the logistics concerning the trip. Thank you Pedro and all team members at the office or in the field.

Great tour in that caves. But we were surprised about the short duration of the trip on the water. It was a bit short given that we came back several minutes in advance even after a very slow return from the caves to the marina. I know there must be other considerations, but we could have prolonged the kayak portion by 15 minutes in my opinion.

We were a family of 8 ( 3 generations) taking a family trip to Greece and Siena and Lea planned the perfect experience for us! We had drivers waiting to transfer us to all locations and the hotel in Athens was wonderful . Our host Leo was so welcoming and fun! We did a walking tour to the acropolis then a food tour with Yorgus who was amazing! Ferry tickets were organized for us to Naxos & Santorini ( including drivers). We did a cultural and food walking tour in Naxos with Chris which was also interesting and more than we could eat!!! Once in Santorini a wine tasting and cooking class was planned and was the highlight of the entire trip. Everyone was involved with chef John who made it so fun especially for our non cooking family members. We finished the trip with a catamaran sunset dinner cruise , so fun, beautiful and delicious!
Overall the trip was incredible and memorable for our family!!! Siena listened to our interests and delivered the perfect experience for us.
I will definitely recommend Kimkim to plan a group trip personalized to suit your needs.

This location is amazing and well located in Fira. The views are incredible and George and Stelious make our stay so memorable!!! Breakfast was delivered every morning on our terrace and was delicious. This is a small hotel who pay attention to detail and make sure you have everything you could possibly need. The welcome bottle of wine is such a nice touch! Would highly recommend this hotel. 11out of 10!

Fantastic experience all around. Itinerary was so easy to access and was an invaluable tool during our vacation. We reviewed it each day - with detail and pics, names of drivers and tour companies, map locations of meeting places made it all so easy. We loved all our tours - especially our driver Felipe who took us to Sinatra/Pena Palace. A true gentleman and historian. Our hotels were all very different in the 4 places we stayed at. We loved them all. KimKIm stayed in touch all during the vacation and were available whenever we needed them. I loved the tailor made concept and now that I’ve experienced it and kimkim knows us a little better, I will definitely use them again and recommend to anyone!

Wow - what a hotel. This is a big modern hotel. It had a number of conferences held at while we stayed. But that did not interfere at all with our enjoyment. The pool is fabulous!!!! The restaurant/breakfast is very good. We were wonderfully upgraded to an Oceanside room, and it was really incredible. Location is very good.

Absolutely loved this cool, Scandinavian, boho hotel. Superb location along side the marina. Epic restaurant. The breakfasts are another level, the staff is 10/10. We tried the Avenida Restaurant als well for sinner - and it is a must. I loved the wood, rattan and natural finishes decor.

This tour was okay. Our transport was not that great and our driver although very nice, was difficult to hear because he spoke too quietly and not a lot. We didn’t know here he was taking us and didn’t communicate much during the tour. We also had no lunch and were very hungry as it was a 5 hour tour from 10am until 3pm. The sites he took us to we enjoyed but it was too long for me.

Oh my goodness - do not miss this tour. Most epic tour and driver. Fabulous pristine clean car, and our driver Felipe was incredible. So professional, kind, personable and an incredible historian. We learned SO MUCH from him. He provided just the right amount of information for us. We had “cheat the line” tickets and was able to navigate us past long lines and congestion at the Peña Palace. Again so knowledgeable - just unbelievable. Then he drove us to the town of Sinatra, where he dropped us off and we able to do what we wanted for an hour. Which was great. Just exceptional tour.

This was an interesting tour. Our guide Marco? Manuel? (Sorry I can’t remember), was very knowledgeable about the history and city of Lisbon. This was lovely, however, he took us to two very high points in Lisbon that required us to was up about 1000 (lol) stairs. It was way too much for me (fairly fit 64 yr old). The view was great, but I would have liked to seen more of the city. We were then taken to the Fido Grill for authentic dinner and Fado show. This experience was just ok. Food very meh as well as the show. The restaurant was cute.

This is a great experience. Our transport was very nice and our driver Felipe was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the area, the history and wine. It is a very long tour. Maybe a bit too long for me. But included 2 wineries, I liked the first one the best. Felt like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. The river tour was just ok. You can’t really see much. You had to listen to a taped recording on an App you had to download and it didn’t work very well. The drive there was 1.5, and at a VERY fast pace, which was a little nerve wracking. lol. Overall it was fun.

Overall, the trip design and logistics were excellent. Tour personal were knowledgeable and wanted us to have an enjoyable and educational time. And, they all arrived on time and handled the details. The excursions were interesting ones.

The only suggestions for improvement would be a hotel location closer to attractions in Athens, and one tour guide, while overall good, one tour guide did not always position herself and enunciate well enough to be heard by the whole group.
