The trip was fantastic and a big shout out to Beatriz on her coordination of the trip. Every guide and driver was always on time and did a great job during our visits to Northern Italy and Portugal. The hike in the Dolomites and the guided tour to the Douro Valley were two of the highlights of the trip. The choice of the hotels set up by Beatriz were perfect as well. Based on our experience with KimKim, I have recommended them to friends/family and we are working with KimKim on another trip in 2026.

Hotel Bon Encontre in Sarlat was lovely, especially the owner Christine and her marvellous breakfasts. I might have preferred somewhere where one could get more meals than breakfast, but you can't have everything, and Christine did supply wine by the glass in the evenings.

Our guide in Sarlat, Benoit, was also excellent.

Every day was absolutely perfect for us. Hotel locations were excellent, recommendations by Jane/KimKim were spot on. The one and only glitch was when we arrived at the airport, the driver wasn’t there. We phoned and they had planned for the next day. However they immediately came to retrieve us, so no major impact. Fortunately the weather was also perfect with the very first rain drops en route to the airport to leave. Thank you Jane, and I will definitely be using KimKim again in the future!

Our overall trip to Germany was absolutely amazing. We had a one day tour with Thomas to a castle and a palace absolutely incredible. The following day we went to Rothenberg with Antone. Also very good. The hotel was perfect location. Everything handled perfectly.

The entire trip was amazing. We have absolutely no complaints from arrival to departure, The accommodations, the transfers. the excursions and the excellent guides. The guided Ae and Bammie were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Elena who planned the itinerary was excellent, she managed every detail and was very attentive to all the requests. My Husband and I just returned from a amazing 15 day Morocco tour with Morocco Immersion.We had the best driver that we could have asked for Ahmed went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly even going out of the way to track down a pharmacy that sold tweezers since I forgot mine at home and got a splinter.Ahmad was not only punctual but kept the van clean every night when he washed it.Ahmad took us to his personal home in Rose Valley to meet his family and have a delicious home cooked meal by his own mother.We had several local stand out guides throughout the trip in each location Abdul in Dades Valley was extremely knowledgeable,Said in Fez was funny and did a excellent job of both entertaining us and educating at the same time.The stand outs for us were the private cooking classes in Fez and Marrakesh also the over night in the luxury camp in the Sahara.Raid's that were chosen for us were all clean and well maintained.

Our ten day trip to Finland was amazing. We had several discussions with Emerson, He took our goals, budget, interests, and physical abilities into consideration as he selected activities for us to complete on this trip. He did a terrific job! The attention to detail and personal service made this trip very special. We will give you feedback about the highlights in Helsinki’s, Levi, and Rovaniemi in terms of our transfers, hotels, and activities.

We spent four nights in Helsinki at the beginning of our trip. The transfers throughout Helsinki were outstanding. The vehicles were beautiful and comfortable and the drivers combined professionalism and friendliness. Hotel Kamp was also outstanding. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the included breakfasts were delicious. While we enjoyed all of our city tours, our favorites were in Tallin (Christopher) and Porvoo. When talking to friends, we might suggest they skip the Soumenlinna trip. The trip to the Archipelago Sea (Alex) was a great way to get out of the city and see the beauty of nature close by.

The overnight train to Kolari was interesting. As described, we had our own cabin with two berths and a private bathroom. The cabin was quite small, with a very small window and little stool. We struggled getting into the top berth, but once we were each in our berths, we slept fine. Since we didn’t have seats in the regular compartment and there was no observation car, we spent a lot of time in the dining car when we were not sleeping.

Our transfer to Levi was great and the accommodations there were fantastic - probably our favorite of the entire trip. The Levin Iglut glass igloo was beautifully appointed and had a breathtaking view. The restaurant had a great breakfast, and we enjoyed delicious meals both nights at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a joy to be there. While the conditions were not ideal to see the Nothern Lights, our guide, Jukka, was knowledgeable and worked very hard to find a place where we could experience them through photography.

Our transfer to Rovaniemi was great and our suite at the Arctic Treehouse was beautiful. The restaurant at the hotel was good and the staff were all very helpful. All of our Lapland hikes were outstanding. The guides (Heli, Juno, Suka, and Ustav) were knowledgeable, interesting, and flexible while adjusting to our hiking needs and speeds. The sauna experience was one we will always remember, because we got to authentically experience a Finnish tradition in nature.

The advice to fly back to Helsinki was great. We enjoyed staying at the Hotel Haven. It was not as lavish as Hotel Kamp, but did the trick for our one night stay before heading home. Again, our transfer was on time and incredibly professional.

Our kimkim contact in Finland, Lilla Patricia, did a great job monitoring things while we were there. She checked in with us to see how things were going, served to reschedule a hike, and managed the situation when a tour was cancelled. We would definitely recommend kimkim to friends and will use you in the future. Thank you for a great trip.

Our trip to Morocco was a blast - it's a wild, beautiful, culturally rich country. The whole team that we worked with (mostly Majid, Hassan, Hassan) were all top-notch. This was our first time using kimkim.com to plan our vacation (Peru). We were paired with Andean Travel and Lo assisted us in our planning. She was great to work with and very flexible to our wants. Then once we were in Peru, Lisbeth took over and was in constant communication with us to ensure everything went smoothly, and it did! It was great to have private drivers to/from the airport, for taking us to needed spots, etc.

Our guides were wonderful! Oscar was very knowledgeable about the Sacred Valley and we learned so much about the history and people. Javier guided us through Machu Picchu and it meant so much more to understand this special place. The Amazon and the Corto Maltes Lodge did not disappoint and we saw so much wildlife! We ended back in Lima for a day before catching our flight home and the Lima Food Tour with Amy was a great way to wrap up our time in Peru.

My mom and I had the most amazing trip together. Everything was so well planned, from our transportation, to our private guided tours, to our lovely hotels, we could not have been happier! Daniela, our private tour guide at Pompeii, has been an archeologist there for over 20 years. Her knowledge created an amazing experience for us, that was a huge highlight of our trip. The street food tour of Naples was a great way to see the city and experience the culture. The boat tour of Capri was a beautiful experience. The tour of the lemon grove in Amalfi was such a unique and educational experience, and in such a gorgeous setting. The rooftop opera in Rome was wonderful. Everything was so perfect!

The hotel TV and aircon didn't work well. Room was basic and had a slight moldy smell. Would have also liked a hotel with a fitness center. Although they advertised one they didn't have one. Service in the bar was not as friendly as reception and the restaurant.

Full Day Machu Picchu Exploration

Extremely well organized by Peruvian Sol and our guide and driver. Train travel was ok and worth paying for the upgraded experience. Bus travel to and from Machu Picchu was rough, scary, and seemed dangerous. Unfortunately, it's the only way to the site unless you want to hike up the hill which requires a lot of time and to be in good shape. Overall the site was crowded and so many people taking social media pictures it wasn't the best experience.

My daughter and I get motion sickness easily. However, even with the winding roads and traffic, our driver, Ollidon, didn't make us sick while driving and was an exceptional navigator. We felt very safe and cared for and would use Ollidon again and again.

Lisa our travel expert was wonderful. Everything worked like clock work and she checked on us daily and reminded us of our schedule and guide for the next day. When our flight to return home was 52 hours delayed from Shanghai she was in constant contact with us extending our stay at our hotel, planning a tour for our extra unplanned day and even having the guide buy snacks and drinks for us to have at the hotel.
Japan and China were beautiful places to visit. They were both very clean, people were friendly and there were lots to historical places and natural beauty to see.
All our guides and drivers were excellent.
Jason our driver to Hakone was just suppose to be our driver, but he helped us with all the tickets and told us where to go. He was more like a guide and spoke excellent English. He was very helpful and considerate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day trip to Paris and Provence. We chose to use the KimKim service because we had never planned a trip like this before and did not know what to expect or how to navigate the planning process. We also do not speak French. Lucie was amazing in working out all of the details and activities once I told her what we would like to experience. The days were packed and we enjoyed all of our tours. If I were to do it again, I may allow a little more free time, even though we enjoyed everything that we did. Some of the highlights were the Moulin Rouge, the food tour in Paris with Laure as well as the tour with Remy in Provence to the three villages. We also loved, loved, loved seeing Cassis with our tour guide Coco. Our train travel between Paris and Provence was seamless, and all the transfers were on time and as planned. The hotels were fine; comfortable and we really enjoyed having breakfast available, but I would have liked being closer to the main attractions in Paris and a slightly more elevated experience. I should have communicated this more effectively. Be sure to review all the details of the trip before your go. We had one minor glitch that I noticed last minute and Lucie did make the adjustment that was needed promptly so there were no issues. All in all our trip to France was magical, memorable and way more than I could’ve expected or could’ve planned all on my own.

The entire trip was amazing and everyone I talk to I recommend Kimkim. Prague was great, the driver was excellent, the hotel right in the middle of it all. My brother and I walked around and enjoyed great beer and food, spent a day in Plsen at Paulaner, and saw lots of sights. The train to Salzburg next was great, and we loved the hotel there- and had an unplanned foray into a festival there that we actually attended both nights because it was so much fun (Ruperti Kirtag) and again, lots of amazing local festbiers! Then off to Munich for the grand finale at Oktoberfest. As it turned out there were friends in town who got us into a tent on the first day, but back to the trip plan, Allie and Fat Tire Tours were amazing and we celebrated in the famous Lowenbrau tent with again- amazing food and beer. I highly recommend getting Kimkim to put together an Oktoberfest tour for you!

Fabio planned out a fantastic trip for us (6 people) and we all saw some wonderful sights and had an excellent experience.
Highlights were the boat tour of the Cinque Terre, wine tours and our stay in Tuscany. All of the drivers were very prompt and courteous and safely and efficiently took care of us.
