Kimkim might be a bit more expensive than other operators.. but worth it if you want peace of mind and professionalism.

My husband and I had a phenomenal trip in Morocco organised by Yassine and the Team from MOBT, and I would be delighted to recommend them to anyone looking to travel to Morocco for the first time.

Booking Experience:
One of the great benefits of working with a locally based travel specialist is that you receive reliable guidance and recommendations for a country you may not be familiar with. In planning the trip Yassine thoughtfully made me aware of several logistical considerations, for example regarding realistic travel times, and also recommended some less well-known regions and destinations to visit. He helped us tailor an itinerary that catered for our interests and maximised our short 7 days in the country.

Yassine was highly professional, always responsive, and knowledgeable. The information provided before the trip was detailed and gave us some great preparation tips.

For anyone traveling from Australia, I can also confirm that coordinating information with Yassine was significantly easier and faster than with a local agent. In addition, he was happy provide us with all the required info for Smart Traveller.

In Country Experience:
We couldn’t be happier and more grateful for the warm welcome and support we received from the MOBT team.

The highlight of any trip is the people you meet along the way, and we truly cherished the opportunity to get to know our driver Ismail. Apart from being a very thoughtful, kind, and warm person – he’s also one heck of a competent driver. It was so sad to say goodbye and we wished we got to have more conversations with Ismail. He was so patient with our questions and taught us both a lot about Morocco.

All the guides we encountered were professional and knowledgeable. Of particular value was their savvy planning of our days in Marrakesh and Fes, since they were able to predict which places would be crowded, so we were always at the right place at the right time, avoiding all the cues.

We were also grateful that Hassan joined us on one of the days, it was a pleasure to meet him, and we really appreciated that MOBT team members checked in with us regularly during the trip.

Finally, the accommodation selected by MOBT could not have been better. Every hotel/riad was comfortable, beautiful, had incredible service, and was easy to find in the medina.

Travelling to Morocco:
If you’ve not been to Morocco before, do not hesitate to plan your visit. I would recommend researching and preparing well, understanding a little about the culture beforehand, and you will have a brilliant trip.

Whatever your interest, you will find something that you will enjoy and find beauty in. For me, as an avid reader and history buff, Morocco was a treasure trove of incredible sights and meaningful discoveries. It was really a transformative experience, and we now understand a little more about the world than we did before – something that you should take away from every new place. It’s hard to name a highlight - the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish - but I think getting up early in the morning to listen to the call to prayer and watch the sunrise for the first time in Marrakesh was one of the most moving memories I have.

Thank you to Yassine, Hassan, of course Ismail, and everyone at MOBT for helping us have an amazing adventure. We will be returning to Morocco, there is so much more to explore!

In terms of the trip itself, Ecuador is amazing in its diversity of climates and the two that my girlfriend and I wanted to experience (Volcano and rainforest) were both unforgettable experiences! From biking down Cotopaxi and the surrounding park to spotting monkeys, birds, caimans, and pink dolphins in the rainforest we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Thank you to Isabel and our guides for the two portions, Ricardo (biking) and Diego (rainforest). The Mosaic hotel in Madaba was excellent, had great fun at the Dead Sea and Spa Hotel. Petra was almost booked out, so our hotel (Candles) was a much lower quality, but convenient. Petra is a once in a lifetime place to see. Wadi Rum and our night at Khaled’s camp was magnificent. The camp accommodation was so good and the next morning we were awed by the desert scenery during our 3 hour 4 wheel drive into “Lawrence of Arabia” country. Finishing in the heart of Amman at the Art Hotel we were very happy with our tour of Jordan.

The Hertz GPS was slow and didn't provide accuracy we e expected. That is not your responsibility. Hertz did a wonderful thing in not charging us since we were 1hour late.

Pat Liddy tour was fantastic !!!!

Only suggestions would be to strongly urge drivers download offline maps if they have capability on their phones. That ended up better than Hertz gps.
Also, information on the charges to the suggested route stops. We probably would have changed some of our stops to be able to spend more time. (Ex. Bunratty castle). or not go . It got a bit frustrating to pay at every stop for more info. If I had known I would have planned better.
However, every place was amazing and the trip went without a gliche. It was amazing!!
Oh, also maybe add info about bus pass and needing exact change on buses in Dublin,
along with brief comment on norms of tipping and that last admission to quite a few sites is4-5p. We missed going in to some locations.

I'm rambling along so I hope makes sense.

Thank you for an amazing trip

Hi Perry,

Say Hueque stands out as a leader in local operator for more than 20 years, and our main goal is to create and to offer to our passengers a personal and authentic Experience.
Torres del Paine is a unique and exclusive place in South America that gives the opportunity to connect with the environment and spectacular landscapes.
In remote places like Torres del Parque National Park is, and in this kind of adventures, and at this time of the year (almost winter for this area), the climate can not be the best to visit it, but it gives you the authentic feeling to be the only group at the park, and avoid the crowd that you can find during summer.
We trust deeply in our guides and in what they consider that is the best for the group during these multi-days treks.
I sincerely hope that in spite of the weather and of not luxury refuges, you enjoyed an amazing place like Torres del Paine is.
Also keep in mind that when making a reservation through SAY HUEQUE, with all the services, you will receive a high level customer service that you would not expect when booking as individual services. We have experience in travel planning and custom itinerary design, we support 24x7 throughout the trip if any problem arises, we support operationally and in logistics in all destinations during your trip and we have the benefits of continuous and long-term investment to ensure a competitive pricing environment, while we work with the best partners, hotels and possible guides to ensure the perfect trip.
From our side we worked hard to do everything humanly possible for giving you the chance to have a memorable experience in our beautiful South America. We really care, and it is our main concern, your opinion. So, of course, we highly appreciate you take the time to write to us.

Not only were they English speaking (shamefully, my husband and I cannot speak Spanish...), but most were born and raised in the cities we met them at. They were knowledgeable with their tours, but also willing to share their personal stories, giving the tours meaning, passion, hope, beauty. Jairo in Bogota was hands down exceptional and our undeniable favorite - such wealth of knowledge regarding Bogota and Colombia, but seemed so heartfelt and invested in giving us the most out of our day... also it may arguably have been the most delicious snack-filled day of our trip ;) (he apparently also does gastronomy tours!). I also appreciated Santiago's devotion to his and Colombian coffee, Sam's commitment to telling the horrid history, and now progress in communa 13, Diego's willingness to share his stories, opinions, thoughts, which in the end gave hope in human perseverance.

I have booked private guide services in many cities and countries and the main guides provided by the agency were not professional.. they were not interested in their work or interested in showing us their city/country, this was not the case with the guides that i booked .... interesting to note that guide services that i booked directly for myself in Casablanca, Essaouria and Marrakech and the one i picked up last minute in Ait Ben Haddou and the one provided by our driver in Meknes were exceptional - the only guide service provided through the agency that provided exceptional guiding were Hafid in Fes and the camel guide and the sunset guide provided by Yasmina Palace in Merzouga
provided good guiding services. all things being relevant
a trip is made exceptional by two components - the driver and the guide services and both were lacking.
better accommodation for the same fee is available in Marakkech,
the Marakkech guide was the worst. he had knowledge but was neither interested in his city or in providing the guide services

most memorable place was FES and the desert experience and Chefchaouen - driver for Chefchaoun was very good

Hello Patricia,

Firstly, please allow me to thank you very much for taking the time to write and share your feedback and experience with me and my travelers. I have read it carefully and would like to share my comments with you and clarify some of the points you mentioned above:

1. Should I have deeper knowledge about each city and town of my country: YES, no one would deny that I should and that is my dream to achieve. But, as I have mentioned during our phone calls, I could not yet make it work and travel to every city because I have other obligations such as studies and family which prevent me from traveling all over Morocco yet. I am always honest with my travelers when they ask me about something I do not know, and I promise them to go and check it for them. The same I did for you. I know you did not like the location of the accommodation in Skoura, but, as you may recall, I never worked with this hotel you selected on your own via Booking.com and I did notify you of it clearly and you asked me to book it for you which left us with checking online feedbacks only and they were all good as you also read.

2. The Square in Marrakech: if you allow me to invite you to get back to the program and check the description; I have mentioned the following "In the evening the square transforms into a huge open-air restaurant with smoke rising from the many food stalls". This means that we only expect the square to have the stalls by the late evening. I never had any complaint from any of my travelers because it's an open space where people may decide to put their stalls starting from the evening time.

3. The local guide being registered: please allow me to confirm that all guides we work and supply to our travelers are registered and have been qualified by the local tourism office. Not sure on which basis you say that they are not registered? Of course, if any guide is not at his expected level of knowledge and professionalism, I would love to be informed because only through your feedbacks and my travelers' I am sure they are on top of their job. Also, I always recommend my travelers inform us through our 24h/7 emergency phone of an unpleasant experience they have during their travel the same as you also did regarding the guide services in Skoura which I immediately approved and refunded to your credit card because after checking and investigating I figured out that indeed the services of your guide were not as expected.

Last but not least, please allow me to say that I am surprised to hear from you that also your driver and all the guide services were not good. The only complained you sent me during your travel was about the guide in Skoura and only for 1 day which you asked me to refund. On my side with my local provider, we decided to refund you 3 days of the guide services as a gesture of good well and because we care about your trip services. Of course, I respect your feedback, but, I personally deserve to be informed while you are in the destination to have the right to intervene and check what's wrong. If I am not informed, I always assume everything is good order, especially that we were in contact via phone and WhatsApp the entire trip which is weird that you did not let me know.

I hope I have clarified some of the points above for you and also for my trusted travelers.

All the best,
Brahim

I am grateful and privileged to have covered so much of Chile in such a short amount of time. All credit for this goes to Mery and her team.

The tours that were arranged were on-time, professional and very informative. The guides, whilst mainly catering to Spanish speaking passengers, also took the time and patience to explain the same to me in English.

I was also impressed with the accommodation that was booked, it felt like someone had really thought about the location and quality of the places. The accommodation in the various towns/cities was centrally located, close to shops and restaurants and very comfortable.

The highlights of the trip were the San Pedro de Atacama desert (would recommend the Altiplanics Lake tours, Laguna Cejar, Moon Valley tour & the Night Sky tour) which has so many varying and unique landscapes. Patagonia including the Torres del Paine national park and Balmaceda/Serrano glaciers are a must see, these are truly spectacular.

Overall a very well organised and thought out trip, that exceeded my expectations. Thank you for putting this together and ensuring I had a great experience. Would not hesitate to recommend kimkim/Say Hueque again.

I couldn't recommend kimkim enough to people planning for an adventurous trip away. The way in which Erin tailored the trip to my desires and ability made the planning process so easy, simple and quick given I started organising my trip at very short notice.

Our guide Sonam was absolutely exceptional and made our trip. She was always extremely professional, helpful and would always know how to make us smile in times of hardship. When I undoubtedly return to Nepal I hope I am paired with Sonam again as she was not only our guide for our time trekking but a friend, which we laughed with and shared stories about our different lives. Pekma and Thilen, our porters were also incredibly kind hearted and helpful, bonding with our group and helping us achieve our goals. The route suggested by kimkim was breath taking and so unique, trekking through isolated valleys and untouched ancient towns tucked away on the Annapurna Conservation Area. With the combination of Sonam, Pekma and Thilen and the incredible route we took, it made this experience one of most unforgettable and enjoyable trips of my life.
Many Thanks!!

Hi Will!
Thanks so much for your feedback on your trip. I'm so glad we put this together for you- been a long time coming! Glad you and the group worked so well with Sonam- she's ace, right? And glad the rest of the team worked well, too.
Hope to see you back here for another adventure one day!

I would highly recommend her as a guide.

I did encounter some issues with my porter; at times he has conflicting opinions to Priscilla and sometimes I'm not sure who I should listen to, as he says that he's usually a guide and only being a porter because he has time. I also had to say a few words to him about going through the content on my phone without my authorisation and using my phone to take photos of himself. However this stopped after I expressed my unease with him doing that.

It was overall an enjoyable experience, I will book with you again in the future if I come back to Nepal for another visit. Thanks heaps.

Hi Jee,
So glad to hear you and Priscilla had a great trek together. You did the Manaslu Circuit, which is a long one, so great you had a good bond. I've shared your feedback with Priscilla and the rest of our team.

Sorry to hear about the issues with your porter. We'll address that. Hopefully this didn't dissuade you from enjoying too much of the experience.

Sounds like overall it was a great trek! Hope you can make it back here one of these days!

All the guides were polite and willing to help with anything, but Julio seemed less commercial than all :).
Thanks to Anne, Julio and to everybody that contribute to a memorable experience in Peru.

We loved Cartagena and Medellin and the surrounding areas. The tour guide we had in Medellin, was particularly outstanding - Juan Manuel, I think.

Laura was very responsive when any issues arose, and they were promptly fixed.

This was our 2nd experience with KimKim and we'll do it again!

We had a wonderful trip to Egypt. We had constant communication with Ibrahim our local specialist and he was always there for us. We had a guide for every stage of our tour and the transfers from one location to another were seamless. Everyone was very kind and the excursions were super fun. We especially enjoyed the Nile Cruise and our trip to the Red Sea in Hurgada. It was a great time and we felt very safe!

Negative:
Failure of my transport at Rio was very disturbing and that was a bad start.
While the hotels were all four star rated, Dione of them were below our expectations and well below what we had experienced with other tour operators.
Some of the tour guides were not knowledgeable and did not provide any real information. Our first guide to Petropolice was a disaster and wasted our time at the unscheduled half day stop at a beer factory.
Some of the visits were not good, such as the Conchita winery I n Santiago. We just saw the cellar and the house and no wine making process. There is a scope to improve.
