We had a great time and it was planned well. We never would have done as much or see so much without your service. It was such a pleasure to be greeted by Oscar when we arrived at Bogota. He has so much knowledge and knew so many people along the way that made the trip extra personable. Gustvo made the coffee region exciting, fun and full of local greetings everywhere we went. Sebastian toured us throughout Medellin hitting every aspect of the city while explaining both the successes and challenges. For us, Cartagena was to be more relaxed as we had already seen and done so much. The walled city was vibrant at every hour of the day and night. Martin shared the beautiful history of the city and we felt his pride.

Tricia did a fantastic job setting up our 8-day journey in Norway! While we could have spent some more time in the cities, the fjord cruises, hotels, and Trolltunga hike were definitely the highlights. The Flam Railway was also an amazing surprise, as we didn't realize it was not a normal train transfer, and that valley was simply incredible. The Aurlandsfjord Hotel was also a terrific place to stay and gave us gorgeous views of that particular fjord. Trolltunga Active is a high quality and professional outfitter that led our Trolltunga hike, and their camping (or glamping) domes are definitely the way to go. We had comfortable sleeping pads and fully catered dinners sitting at benches, and then had the Trolltunga rock formation all to ourselves after the hordes of day hikers had left. All the fjord cruises were incredible and the waterfalls and cliff faces were everywhere and around every corner. Simply a gorgeous country!

Thank you so much for planning an amazing first trip to Greece for us! When we first met Nadia, we we're a bit overwhelmed by all the incredible ways we could spend days 10 days in Greece. We are very appreciative of Nadia's quick and detailed responses to our many questions, and also were grateful for her suggestions (we took many of them!) Special thanks to Nadia for quickly and thoroughly answering our last minute barrage of questions in the last 24 hours before left home - cell phones, internet, tipping, laundry (including an address near our hotel in Naxos,) etc. etc.!

Our Athens Monastiraki hotel was perfect. Laid back, great staff, breakfast on the rooftop in view of the Acropolis, central to great food, art, history and exploring neighborhoods and finding great views of the city. And, we're so glad we said yes to the Acropolis & Flavors Tour! Joanna was a fabulous guide to both, and left us with many recommendations for the rest of our stay.

I am also grateful for all the time Nadia worked with us on planning our trip to Delphi and Meteora. The private driver was the perfect solution and Yannis made it all extra memorable by giving us off the beaten path lunch options -- a quiet laid back lunch and swim at Camping Delphi with incredible views of the valley, olive groves and coast after Delphi visit; exquisite calamari on our seaside table on the scenic drive back to Athens. And, of course, impeccable on time delivery for our flight to Naxos that evening.

Throughout the trip we had the right balance of scheduled activity and time to explore on our own. Our surprise love was Naxos which Nadia added into our itinerary at the end when we asked for a visit to second island. We rented a car (very easy and affordable) and explored the island, but honestly didn't get past Pyrgaki (20 min from town) where bought an umbrella, sandwiches and fruit from the mini market and settled in for the day on this spectacular secluded beach. The staff at Nastasia Village hotel were a big help with directions, logistics, and advice. Thank you!

Our last stop was Santorini and I must thank Nadia again for advising us on how to take advantage of this unique (and popular !) location. We leaned into views, sunsets, wine, tomatoes, white eggplant and fava beans. (Our welcoming driver from the port to the hotel gave us a great primer on vegetarian must haves unique to Santorini.) The Sunset Catamaran Caldera Cruise was perfect, relaxing, the right amount of people (not crowded on the catamaran), well run, great food and staff. The extra $$ for the caldera view was worth it and we enjoyed an amazing breakfast every morning with this exceptional backdrop. We took a 1/2 day to visit the tourist area in Fira but enjoyed the laid back family restaurants near our hotel in Akrotiri -- explored appetizers and watched the sun set at The Good Heart. We spent our last night by the water sharing a large grilled fish at The Cave of Nicholas. Γειά μας!

Thank you to all the drivers, guides, hotel staff, shop owners, family businesses and more that made our trip so memorable. Nadia, please accept our deep gratitude for everything you did to make it all come together. Every detail was cared for, for being on hand for anything that was needed, and for ensuring all plans went smoothly. I can't think of a time we've had such a vacation with so little time spent on figuring out logistics and so much time for pure relaxation and enjoyment. This make our trip to Greece exceptional. We loved our guide (Julie) in Normandy (both for the D-Day beach guided tour and the Mont St. Michele guided tour. She was young, fun, energetic, knowledgeable and personable and we all enjoyed our time with her.

Our hotel in Bayeux (Hotel Villa Lara) was also terrific, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spacious, and the lobby was quaint and nice with a fun little bar for wine and snacks.

We did not care for the "scavenger hunt" activity in Paris and would not recommend that activity for other visitors to Paris.

Our hotel in Paris (Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain) was also excellent, in a great location, with very nice amenities, although the rooms were slightly on the small side (not much room to move around).

Eiffel tower was a fun adventure

Our bike ride tour of Versaille and the Versaille Castle and property was also very fun, and our guide (Rachel) was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Really enjoyed our brief tour of the Louvre with Melanie..she was very energetic and knowledgeable and focused on some of her favorite areas which we enjoyed.

In Avignon, we did not enjoy our first night at our N15 B&B (we didn't find the host to be very warm and welcoming, and the hot water broke mid shower and they were not anticipating hot water through the weekend), and were much happier after moving to the Hotel Cloitre Saint Lous. Air conditioning didn't seem to keep pace with the higher outside temperatures, but it was a very neat place to stay, with access (literally outside our bedroom door) to the old Chapel. It also had a neat rooftop pool which was great for cooling off after a hot day.

We loved our cooking class (small group) with Chef Jean Marc..such a neat experience being in his personal home vs. taking a cooking class in a commercial kitchen.

As for Nice..beautiful place, great hotel (La Perouse), great location, great staff, loved the extra space in our room (one of the large suites with nice outdoor patio/terrace). "Food" tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, but it was more of a general walking tour and not so much a food tour, so that was a little off from expectations.

All of the scheduled transportation (private drivers, trains) was terrific and so nice for us to not have to worry with any of those logistics.

Overall, we had a fabulous trip and everything was well coordinated by Laurence..we would definitely consider using KimKim again for future international travel.

This was a combined high school and college graduation gift for my niece. Sadly, due to flight issues we missed the first 3 days so a 19 day trip turned into 7 so we missed all of Athens except the last night before we flew home. Kim Kim, specifically Dimitris, did. Great job with a few exceptions. You need to have transport already arranged when get to the Santorini port which we did not despite our hotel website saying it was available. The taxi companies aggressively jump on you. We were forced to rent a car and it was expensive 500 euros. DON’T RENT A CAR IN SANTORINI! There is no parking and it’s walkable. The water ferry was great. Naxos was my favorite bc Santorini is so cowshed and too many Americans. I left the US to get away from the US not have it in another country. Yodai (?) our Naxos hiking guide was great and the family owned farm to table restaurant after our hike was most delicious. Trying authentic traditional foods was a tastebud treasure. Beet salad was amazing! Thanos, our caldera hike guide in Santorini, was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He even invited us out that night for dinner. We didn’t go bc after 25,000 steps that day we were exhausted. The private sunset spot he took us to was spectacular! Highly recommend both of the guides. The Ilaperato hotel in Santorini had breathtaking views as we ate our breakfast on our balcony every morning. The Zillers hotel in Athens had tiny rooms but the rooftop restaurant looking to the acropolis and Parthenon was great!

Great location in the Plaka so easy to get to good restaurants, shopping, and the acropolis. We only had 6 hours of daylight in Athens so this location was primo-we we’re lucky. Breakfast in the rooftop was extremely enjoyable and a great way to end our trip.

This is a great hotel! The staff is over the top accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast delivered daily to our balcony made us feel like princesses. Rooms were beautifully yet simply adorned with a refrig, plates, glasses, minibar. They were generous with their bottled water since can’t drink from faucet. Location on the walking path is convenient to all places. HIGHLY recommend this amazing hotel for the service, rooms, view!

Book it! This place is the greatest! You will need help getting your luggage down the cobblestone path to the actual hotel so call ahead to arrange. They are quick to help.

Thanos Papagiannopoulos was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He pointed out all the natural herbs-oregano, rosemary, thyme, and a few others all along our 4 hr hike. He sprinkled in a lot of history about the land, volcanoes and his stories from his teaching career. He made the sometimes very steep climb very enjoyable. The private sunset spot he took us to was spectacular! This was a great experience.

Planning this trip took longer than I hoped but at the end of the day it was fabulous. The only issues were that Imbros Gorge was a more difficult hike than expected and because of that we opted not to walk from Oia to Fira. Also the car that was selected for us in Crete was too big and we damaged it trying to maneuver in small places. Hotels chosen by Tasos we’re great. We loved our time in Greece. Thanks Tasos!

My friend and I had an amazing time in Argentina! Emilce was an amazing contact for us as we planned our trip, and then once there we always had a local contact to ask questions to! Buenos Aires was such a vibrant city, and we loved getting to enjoy the culinary experience go dive into the local cuisine. We also appreciated our bike tour, as we left an open day on the end of our trip. This allowed us to learn the city, then return back to places we wanted to explore more! Mendoza was beautiful with the wine country and Andes views, and Iguazu Falls was such a gorgeous wonder of the world! We felt extremely safe being two young, female adults, and I would recommend KimKim and Argentina to anyone! It was amazing 🤩

We had the best trip to London, Northern Scotland, and Ireland! Kimkim connected us to William and Stephen who created an itinerary for us. They listened closely and added well-coordinated experiences around our interests. We combined: time in London, hiking in Northern Scotland, visiting Isle of Skye, and spending time in the South East coast of Ireland. We worked closely with Stephen, and he was knowledgeable and created a great trip for us. We loved taking the overnight train from London to N Scotland! We loved our accommodations in Isle of Skye! Every one of the drivers that was part of the trip was also a tour guide, and taught us so much about the areas we visited. Stephen suggested the West Highlands Way for hiking which was perfect! We also really enjoyed where we stayed in Wicklow, and then a swim rise in Greystones. We appreciated communicating with Stephen throughout the trip . They made it super easy: air flights, trains, accommodations, bag transfers. I think Kimkim, William, and Stephen did a great job. We are extremely pleased!

Thank you Manon! You created the most amazing tour of France for my family! We arrived in Nice, then ventured to Provence and ended in Paris over 10 days. Incredible activities and hotels with transportation to the activities and arrangements to take the train with transportation as I had requested. Electric bike tour through the French countryside, walking tour of a Parisian neighborhood, private tour of Versailles, tickets to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower...and the list goes on. It was exceptional and in the midst of staffing shortages across the world, it was amazing to see how reliable and professional all of your various contacts were on every stop of our vacation. We will use Kim Kim for our next trip for sure! Merci Manon!!

Our experience in Slovenia was magical. Nika understood what type of travelers we were and catered the entire experience to our specific interests perfectly. The variety of landscape, culture, and activities we were able to do and experience each day was incredible. Every day was a new adventure and thanks to Nika's expert scheduling, we never felt rushed. We had ample time to take in every experience and not simply check it off the list. I only wish we could have stayed longer. In short, 5/5!

Jenny pointed us to many interesting sights. Our favorite was seeing the magical little puffins up close. All the accommodations were very clean and in peaceful spots. It was a wonderful trip. Thank you!

My wife and I are SO happy that we used Kimkim to help plan a 2 week honeymoon to Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete, because the trip was absolutely incredible! From the start, Rebecca communicated frequently with us to personalize the trip to our desires. After some back and forth we came up with an itinerary that we were really excited about - and the experiences were even better than we could have imagined! We absolutely loved the personal touches Rebecca included on the trip - from having locals meet us at each location (thank you Theo, Stelios, Kostis, Manos, and Antonis!), to giving us her number on WhatsApp to call with any questions, to modifying our itinerary in real time, and even personally calling the port when our ferry was delayed. Rebecca goes all out to ensure that you have a trip of a lifetime. All of our inter-island transportation was taken care of (HUGE stress relief), and the transports from the ports/airport to our hotels were incredibly comfortable and had courteous and friendly drivers at each stop. We can't say enough about how much we loved the Kimkim experience and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone thinking of planning a trip to Greece. Rebecca and her local guides truly made our honeymoon an unforgettable experience!

We met Stelios for our walking tour of Mykonos town. Not only were we completely mesmerized by the town, but Stelios entertained us for the entire 90 minutes. We loved hearing everything he had to say about the town, food, shops, Greek culture, and he was even more interested in getting to know us and our interests. It felt like we were walking the town with an old friend. Stelios also gave us some great recommendations for food and drink for our remaining two days on the island. It was a phenomenal, personalized experience on our first night in Mykonos!

There were several times that details were missed - for example, I was going to the airport home by myself (on the last day) without my family, which I mentioned several times leading up to our trip. When the airport transport came to my hotel, he had a large truck for all of our luggage and for the three of us. It was only me. I wondered if I paid more for that type of vehicle because of this missed detail. In the end, I couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Our trip using KimKim and our local specialist Daniel, was nothing short of INCREDIBLE! Daniel was truly invaluable to us during the planning as well as the actual trip as during our time there the situation in Ecuador was changing. My husband and I are experienced independent travelers so using a service like KimKim was new for us and I was apprehensive - I thought I could put it together myself but I didn't have the time to work on the logistics and since the Galapagos is so unique we wanted some help. We had several what's app calls and exchanged lots of messages as we tweaked the itinerary a few times. He was so friendly with excellent communication skills and listened to questions and understood what we wanted to experience in out time in Ecuador as we only had a week and there was so much to see between the mainland and the Galapagos islands. As things changed on the ground in Quito upon our arrival, Daniel called right after we landed as he already had a Plan B (C, D and E) as well. We felt safe and calm and I knew I Daniel was available to us anytime and so responsive on WhatsApp. Beyond the changes we made last minute, the rest of what we planned was wonderful. It was so wonderful to have the transfers, day trips and everything planned. The hotels I selected knew our itinerary and times we would be picked up. The town of Puerto Aroya on Santa Cruz was so much fun. We were picked up at the airport by Alexandra who was so warm and welcoming and explained our day as we headed off Baltra island to the ranch where we saw the tortoises on the reserve. The lunch was excellent and we had such a nice peaceful time enjoying the green lush ground watching the tortoises in their environment. I think the trip was perfectly planned to provide balance between busy days and then having some free days. We especially enjoyed the hike and kayaking around Tortuga Bay; the afternoon boat tour and snorkeling with a sea turtle is something I will never forget. Daniel made sure that we worked the trip around a beautiful day cruise to the island of Bartolome - his profile pic. We had a day on luxurious boat served a delicious breakfast and lunch while we hiked and again snorkeled with the penguins - that is what I wanted to see most. Due to our last minute changes from the mainland, we were now fortunate enough to visit another island and Daniel selected Isabela for it's raw beauty and wildlife. The speedboat ride was an adventure in itself and the boat tour there to La Tintoreras we really special - more penguins,, boobies and a lava tunnel full of animals and the opportunity for more snorkeling. Daniel and I pretty much connected daily as I just loved reaching out to him to share pics, our experiences and he was always responsive immediately and so positive. We loved the local fish market in Puerto Aroya just as he said we would - stopping by daily to see the women cutting up the fresh catch and having an audience of pelicans, sea lions, frigate birds, herons and marine iguanas. All right on the street - such an amazing experience. I think our land based tour with day trips was wonderful - we only wish we had more time! I have not stopped telling friends and family about Daniel and his amazing planning - having an on the ground local resource accessible to us all the time was truly invaluable. We are thankful for his guidance and kindness! Surely many of my friends have already asked about this trip or it's already on their bucket list. We definitely plan to use KimKim again for our next adventure - it is truly a great resource for independent travelers and took our trip to the next level!

Kayaking Adventure in Tortuga Bay & Afternoon Bay Tour of Santa Cruz Island

We enjoyed the whole day! Our first guide Ramiro was so welcoming and pointed out so many things along the hike to the beach - he offered to take so many pictures and made us feel at easy on the kayaks and we found so much wildlife together in the water. He made sure we got to our hotel with enough time to rest and have lunch before we were picked up and taken to the waterfront for the afternoon bay tour. This was so nice as we saw so many bird from the boat, enjoyed the walk on an island when we got off and it was our first snorkel. The captain of the boat made us feel at ease in the water and had a gopro and took amazing videos of me swimming with a sea turtle. It was a long busy day but great experiences to get a feel for the island.

We honestly can't say enough how much our family appreciated all the effort that went into planning and orchestrating our trip. There was some unexpected civil unrest throughout the country when we visited, we even considered cancelling the trip all together but we're so glad that we didn't. Mathias and his team were amazing and were great at keeping up to date on the situation and changed our itinerary to help us avoid protests and demonstrations. Although it was a bit dissapointing that we weren't able to do everything we had originally planned on, the activities they replaced them with seemed just as good if not better and we still had a great time.

The other standout was just how well everything was coordinated. Between our tour guides, bus drivers, and hotel staff, it seemed like everyone knew our itinerary better than we did, and were so great about keeping us updated with the time table and what to expect. This was especially nice since we were travelling with small kids and helped us focus on the experience and not the logistics.

We would highly recommend Kimkim to anyone and of course Matias, Liz, Milton, and all the other great people we interacted with during our trip.

The entire trip was well planned in an excellent, courteous, collaborative working relationship with Preeti. She sought to meet our desires and wishes for the trip and incorporated them into the itinerary. We accomplished ALL the elements of the itinerary and in addition, a few of the suggested options. We also added a few of our own after reading books about options in touring Iceland. One was the Fridheimar Tomato Farm and Restaurant -geothermal greenhouses for growing tomatoes and other vegetables. Of course all the major waterfalls were amazing and the trip up to Husavik where we had outstanding steamed mussels at Naustid. We arrived for lunch at 2:30pm, they were open, but said the mussels were only on the menu for dinner. When we said we came from the U.S. to have mussels...the chef said. "They're on the way" for lunch, and they were better than the mussels we had in Bruges Belgieum. All interactions with staff in hotels and restaurants were very good. No language problem. Bakkagerdi old harbor was an excellent experience viewing puffins up close and personal along with the puffins tour at Ingolfshofdi arranged by Preeti. Overall the trip exceeded our expectations and KimKim and Preeti did an excellent job planning a trip that takes the hassle out of travel. Blessings to you all!
We offer a suggestion when planning for seniors - consider hotels with elevators or first floor accommodations. We did have help with moving luggage when requested. Overall we are very pleased with the results and will represent KimKim well to others to wish to plan for non-group travel. It was refreshing to stop the car whenever we wanted to check on birds in the lakes, take advantage of a good photo op and watch the buses and vans whiz by. Thank you very much! The only regret is that we now have over 1000 pics to sort out. Smiles and happy memories!
