Iceland was amazing! Tons of waterfalls, glaciers and volcanoes! Its heaven for the outdoorsy type! Hanna was the agent we worked with to plan the trip and we really enjoyed everything we had planned. The lodging she booked us in throughout the week was perfect for our family of 5! Really enjoyed the waterfall Seljalandfoss, the glacier lagoon zodiac boat tour, swimming at the Blue Lagoon and Sky lagoon and had 2 days at the end of the trip to enjoy the charming town of Reykavik! This was a high school graduation gift for my son. it was his choice and he loved it!

Thank you very much for this feedback! I am glad that you enjoyed your trip and I hope Daniel will have the best memories of his graduation trip to Iceland with family.

Warmest regards,

Thanks to our driver, Oussama, Morocco was unforgetable.

**A Life-Changing Journey Through Morocco — Thanks to Our Incredible Driver, Oussama**

We just returned from a two-week journey across Morocco — starting in Marrakesh, traveling over 2,300 miles through cities, deserts, mountains, and coastlines, and ending in Casablanca. It was a truly life-changing experience.

Each day brought something new: the rich history of each town, vibrant markets, stunning architecture, and the diverse natural beauty of the country. We were constantly in awe — from Morocco’s self-sustaining agricultural systems to the deep pride and resilience of its people. And while the sites and guides were excellent, the heart of our experience — the person who brought it all together — was our private driver, **Oussama**.

**Oussama Made Our Trip Unforgettable**

For 14 days, Oussama was more than just a driver — he was our guide, translator, cultural ambassador, and, by the end, a friend. Always punctual, calm, and professional, he made every moment of our journey feel smooth and stress-free. His car was impeccably clean and comfortable, and his confident, careful driving helped us relax — even on winding mountain roads.

Oussama speaks flawless English (as well as several other languages), making communication seamless. His warm personality and great sense of humor made even the longest drives enjoyable and fun.

But what really set him apart was how deeply he cared about making our experience perfect. He took time to understand our priorities and thoughtfully enhanced them — suggesting meaningful additions, coordinating with local guides, and ensuring every transition was effortless. He took my "must-see/must-do" list, which included an illusive taste of camel's milk, and checked off each request throughout the trip. He worked behind the scenes — calling ahead to hotels so bellmen would be waiting, or helping us get fair prices in the markets — always with quiet grace and without drawing attention to himself.

As a proud member of the Berber community, Oussama brought Morocco’s culture and history to life in a deeply personal way. His stories, insights, and perspectives enriched our understanding far beyond what we could have read or heard elsewhere.

One of the most touching moments came after our trip had ended and we had just landed in the USA — Oussama checked in one last time to make sure we arrived home safely. That small act of kindness perfectly captures who he is: thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely invested in the people he serves.

**If You’re Traveling to Morocco — Book Oussama**

If you're planning a trip to Morocco and want more than just a driver — if you want someone who will elevate your experience, care deeply about your journey, and treat you like family — **Oussama is the one**. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

**A Perfect Stay at Le Pelerin – Unforgettable Experience!** Our stay at **Le Pelerin** in Marrakech was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable visit. The riad is **eloquently decorated**, blending traditional Moroccan charm with tasteful modern touches. Every corner felt thoughtfully curated, and the ambiance was both tranquil and inspiring. The rooms were **immaculately clean**, fresh, and beautifully designed, providing the perfect retreat after exploring the vibrant streets of Marrakech. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the **outstanding staff**. Special thanks to **Rachida**, the incredibly talented chef whose breakfasts and dinners were **the best we had in Marrakech**—rich in flavor, authentic, and beautifully presented. Each meal felt like a celebration of Moroccan cuisine. We were also deeply impressed by **Abdelkarim (Obdel?), Ismail, and Rachid**, (I apologize about the spellings of names) who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their courteous and attentive service made us feel truly cared for. One of the highlights of our trip was a **private cooking class** arranged through the riad—something I had hoped to experience, and the staff accommodated this request seamlessly and with enthusiasm. It's rare to find a place that is run so perfectly, where every detail is managed with care and professionalism. I simply can't say enough good things about Le Pelerin. If you're looking for a serene, authentic, and luxurious stay in Marrakech, **this is the place**. We will absolutely return!

**An Enchanting Experience at Ksar El Kabbaba – Hospitality and Heart in Every Detail** Our stay at **Ksar El Kabbaba** was a truly unforgettable experience, filled with authenticity, warmth, and extraordinary hospitality. Nestled near the heart of an oasis, this beautiful property combines the magic of Moroccan architecture with the serenity of its natural surroundings. We were incredibly fortunate to have **Badr** as our guide during our visit. His tour of the oasis and the nearby village was nothing short of fascinating. He shared in-depth knowledge about how the oasis is managed—from how water is shared and land is divided, to how local disputes are resolved. His passion for **organic farming** and educating the local community about sustainable practices and the value of their land was inspiring. One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to a local **potter**, where we witnessed the entire process—from gathering soil and making clay to crafting, firing, and transporting the finished pottery to market. It was a rare, immersive glimpse into local artisan life. At the Ksar itself, **Ibrahim**, the waiter who looked after us during every meal, deserves special recognition. His service was **impeccable**—he anticipated our every need and treated us with such grace and care that we truly felt like royalty. Ibrahim’s warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression. Another standout was **Lahsan**, the young man who welcomed us with a detailed and heartfelt tour of the Ksar. His pride in the history and beauty of the property was evident, and his introduction set the tone for the rest of our incredible stay. Ksar El Kabbaba is more than just a place to stay—**it’s an experience** that connects you with the land, the people, and the traditions of Morocco. We left feeling deeply enriched and grateful. Highly recommended for travelers seeking meaningful, luxurious, and culturally rich experiences.

Tiziri Luxury Camp
Merzouga

**The Coolest Place We Stayed – A Desert Dream Come True** If you're looking for an experience that blends **luxury, authenticity, and heart**, this desert camp is it. From start to finish, it was truly magical—**unlike anything we've done before**. The journey begins at a hotel staging area with a refreshing swimming pool—perfect for a quick dip if it’s too hot for the camels to head to camp. But once the sun dips just enough, you’ll mount your camel and begin the most **mesmerizing trek** through golden dunes. Halfway to the camp, we paused to watch the **sunset melt into the sand**, a moment of absolute stillness and beauty. From there, you can choose a 4x4 ride or keep going by camel—**we highly recommend the camel ride all the way**. It’s slow, rhythmic, and allows you to truly absorb the silence and majesty of the Sahara. Upon arrival at the camp, we were met with **appetizers and warm smiles**—regardless of the time of arrival. The vibe was laid-back and welcoming, like stepping into a time warp of sorts. It reminded me of the **peaceful, love-filled spirit of the 1960s**—where time slows down, no one's in a rush, and the only schedule that matters is your own. That said, everything still ran smoothly—meals were served when everyone was ready, and **what meals they were!** **Fatima**, the camp chef, deserves a standing ovation. Her dishes were **scrumptious, heartfelt, and clearly made with care**. Every bite felt like a celebration of Moroccan flavors. The **watchmen of the camp** were equally remarkable—multi-talented, gracious, and always in motion. From carrying luggage to serving meals, sweeping sand from the rugs, and offering **joyful Berber music under the stars**, they created a seamless and unforgettable experience. Huge thanks and kudos to **Lahcen (Hossan), Ibrahim, Hamid, and of course, Fatima** the chef. There were others whose names we didn’t catch, but they were equally wonderful. And don’t forget to **order a bottle of Moroccan wine** with dinner—it’s surprisingly good and the perfect accompaniment to a meal under the stars. This wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was **a vibe, a feeling, a memory** we’ll always hold close. A peaceful, easy feeling that captures the true heart of Morocco.

Fantastic Culinary Experience at La Maison Arabe Our time at La Maison Arabe Cooking School was one of the most enjoyable and enriching parts of our stay in Marrakech. The class was extremely well organized, striking the perfect balance between instruction and hands-on experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully prepared. The chefs and instructors were professional, friendly, and made the whole process easy to follow, even for those with little kitchen experience. We appreciated how the class walked us through traditional Moroccan recipes step by step, and gave us plenty of time to ask questions and really get involved. The best part? It wasn’t just a demo—we each had our own workstation and were fully hands-on, making everything from scratch. At the end of the class, we sat down to enjoy our meal together, and it was absolutely delicious. They also provided printed recipes to take home, which was a wonderful touch and will allow us to recreate the magic back in our own kitchens. If you're interested in Moroccan cuisine, La Maison Arabe’s cooking school is a must-do. A fun, flavorful, and beautifully run experience!

A Truly Wonderful Potter – Talented, Kind, and Joyful Meeting this potter was an absolute highlight! He is genuinely one of the nicest, happiest, and most talented artisans we’ve encountered. With great patience and kindness, he showed us the entire process—from gathering the soil, breaking it down, making the clay, to helping me throw a pot myself. It was such a hands-on and memorable experience. He didn’t stop there—he went on to explain and demonstrate how he fires his works, sharing his craft with such passion and gentleness. What struck me most was his humble, gentle nature combined with true artistry. If you get the chance, don’t miss visiting this amazing potter. His warmth and talent truly bring Moroccan craftsmanship to life.

The entire town was shut down because of Eid al-Adha. Our driver, Oussama drove us around to see parts of town which was very nice. Our guide walked us around where the market would have been. However, everything was closed. That was not the guide's fault. Alicia's comments:
Audrey did a wonderful job of working with us to plan a memorable trip to France. She was incredibly patient with my suggestions and changes while creating our itinerary. All of the sights we saw were wonderful, memorable, and unforgettable. She chose some towns that I hadn't heard about before and I'm so glad. Her suggestions for activities and sightseeing were perfect. I enjoyed the lodgings she chose. Many were centrally located and we were able to walk to most of our activities and meals. Having breakfast included was perfect. And being picked up at the Orly Airport and taken to the train station was wonderful and so helpful. We've never done that before.
Some small suggestions:
It would have been good to have a little more information about parking availability for our lodging and about toll road cost. Also, for the last two lodgings in Bayeux and Giverny, we ended up staying at a different location and address than was listed on the itinerary, so it was a bit confusing. In hindsight, I would have chosen to drop off our rental car in or near our last stay in Giverny and take the train to Orly Airport. The car return signage at Orly Airport was minimal, small, hard to see, and it took a long time to find the drop off location.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad to hear that you had a great stay. This was not the first trip planned with KimKim, but the first using Erini. Although budget was not as high as in the past, still a significant amount of money was paid for two travelers.
I requested business class for train transport, but was talked out of same. Really would have been better if we had business class , would not have had to pay extra for lounge acess.
In bed and breakfast in Sorrento, should have been forewarned that car service would have to drop us off two blocks from hotel; would have liked a landmark of where hotel was located, because even with google maps, it was up a stairway and almost impossible to locate. All that would have needed to be communicated was the stores or restaurants on either side of street. Location of Palazzo Staracce was double edged, loud all night long, but in a great location. No blinds on windows, up at crack of dawn. Should have communicated all of this to us. No elevator and breakfast was satisfactory at best.
When booking in a country you are not familiar with, the agent should communicate these things with you as well as booking us to major cities on National Holidays or weekends, since things are closed.
So much more to say about the hotels and their locations.
Hotel Ariel is off the main area, but lovely, but sadly the A/C in the room did not work for three nights, despite the fact that they were made aware of same.
Bettoja Mediteraneo was too far away from everything and as predicted not in the best neighborhood, however, the hotel itself was clean and breakfast was good.
Urban Hive was clean, breakfast was good, but again, summer and the A/C was completely broken. Luckily only had to stay one night.
Plinius Lifestyle Como, good hotel, room small but clean, breakfast above average. Located double edged as very loud all night but in a good location.

Hotel Reviews
Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo
Rome

The Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo in Rome was a fine accommodation in terms of the room and breakfast, but the location was inconvenient. It was situated far from the center of town and was not ideal for a tourist visit. The distance made it impractical to return to the hotel during the day. Staying closer to the center would have been more convenient, especially since I had a driver arranged for trips to the train station.

Palazzo Starace
Sorrento

Palazzo Starace in Sorrento was in a great location, but the accommodation itself was not up to par. The hotel was hard to find after being dropped off as there were no clear directions, and it was a bit challenging to access. The place didn't have many amenities. Although the staff tried very hard, the overall quality and experience of the hotel were lacking.

Hotel Ariele
Florence

Hotel Ariele in Florence was a fantastic hotel with one drawback: the air conditioning did not work for three nights during a particularly warm period. Otherwise, I found the location acceptable despite a 20-minute walk from the center. Overall, the hotel itself was nice.

Plinius Lifestyle Lake Como Hotel
Como

Plinius Lifestyle Lake Como Hotel was centrally located with clean, tiny rooms and very nice staff. The breakfast was good, and the overall experience was pleasant in Lake Como.

Urban Hive Milano
Milan

Urban Hive Milano was a good hotel during my short stay. The stay was brief, only ten hours, but the experience was nice and uneventful.

Dear Laurie,

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that parts of your trip didn’t meet your expectations. I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns and would like to clarify a few points.
Regarding the train, we always book first-class tickets by default for all clients, and this has consistently worked well. Lounge access is not something we include automatically; we leave it at your discretion to add, in order to respect the agreed-upon budget. Our 24/7 support team also provided timely guidance on where the lounge was located.
With the hotel, we truly wish you had reached out to us during your stay about the issues with the air conditioning and the shutters. We are available at all times to contact the properties directly and intervene when needed—we could have helped resolve those matters right away.
All accommodations were selected within the submitted budget, and we reviewed them together in advance. While there was flexibility to upgrade, we had discussed that this would come with a significant cost increase, and based on your preferences, we kept the original arrangements.

Your honest feedback is truly appreciated and helps us continue to improve.
Warm regards,
Eirini

The columbia ice fields was good but not great for the price. The helicopter ride kept getting rescheduled everyday due to weather and military exercises and we had to cancel eventually because it was the end of our trip. That is not the fault of kimkim but it would have been better to be interacting with kimkim than the helicopter company. Also our kimkim agent took holiday in the middle of our trip so there was no kimkim agent. We had to interact with the individual tour companies ourselves and than never picked up the phone. And of course we paid all this money to kimkim for turn key service.

Hi Koonj,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We truly appreciate it, and we’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of the trip didn’t meet your expectations.

We’d like to offer some clarification: your trip was planned by a local Canadian specialist who is very knowledgeable about the region. At the time of your travel, they were temporarily in Europe, which unfortunately introduced a time zone delay in communications. To mitigate this, our operations support team—based in Canada—was actively on hand during your trip. That said, we fully understand how important real-time, local support is, especially when plans shift or challenges arise, and we're sorry that this wasn't your experience.

Regarding the helicopter ride, you're absolutely right—it was a case of bad luck with the weather and local airspace restrictions. We know how disappointing it must have been to miss that highlight after several attempts. While the weather and military scheduling were out of our control, we agree that it would have been preferable for us to remain your primary point of contact rather than the tour operator, and we're reviewing how to improve this going forward.

We also understand your perspective on the activity mix and the value-for-money ratio. Your comments are very helpful and will be used internally to refine future trip planning—especially for travelers looking for more active, immersive experiences like guided hikes.

Again, thank you for traveling with us and for your honest feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future with an experience that feels more seamless and personalized throughout.

Even when Arianna went on leave she made sure someone else was responding - she kept me updated at all times. Train ticket booking were done and what impressed me most were the details - eg: the train seats were facing in the right direction of the travel. Th accommodation in Mila was ok- would have preferred something a bit more central, but for the budget it was fine. We had to take a lot of cabs from the hotel to places we wanted to see. My husbands health condition we could not take public transportation. One thing you may wish to look into is the walking tour - , it felt much longer and everyone on the tour felt we needed more breaks. It was very long and tiring. The guide was average . Other than that the recommendations were handy to have and helped decide what we should do/ eat etc.. all in all it was an amazing experience. A big thankyou to Arianna and your entire team. I am sure to use your services again when possible.

Further our coordinator didn’t consult with us regarding our flight from Barcelona to Mallorca. Specifically the luggage restrictions. Two of the guests traveling ended up paying more than the airfare in round trip luggage fees. Again, this is something that should have been brought up prior to tickets being purchased for us. The local tours we did including Sagrada, walking food tour and the boat day were really great. They were the only aspects saving this trip from less stars. Not sure if I’ll use KimKim again for our next big international girls trip, sadly

First of all, I´m sorry that the domestic flight company lost your luggage, but as you know, we have been working with them daily until you finally received it back at your house in the USA. This is something out of our control, but we worked hard to obtain it for you, and we made it. Also, as you know, you had a 20 kg checked luggage, and a small handbag included in your internal flight, and we told you about it in the day-by-day we sent to you one month before you had your flight, so you had plenty of time let us know if you needed and extra luggage with you.
Second, .We built the trip plan together, which means including hotels, transfers, and activities for you, and once you agreed with ALL the elements contained, we sent a budget. In this building process, YOU NEVER mentioned you wanted to include those transfers, so I don´t understand your complaint. Some travelers want them, and some others don´t. The value of kimkim is the customized working method we use with travelers, and that´s what we did with you, as with other travelers.
Also, as you know, we offered you a rental car, but you mentioned that you prefer not to drive, and instead have taxis to move from your villa in Mallorca, so sorry, but your words are not accurate.
And finally, with NO EXTRA cost for you, we paid and booked other services like the Terrace at Sercoltel Hotel. It was a shame that you couldn´t go because of the lost luggage, but there we were offering extra services with no extra cost.
As I said to you before, I´m very sorry that the domestic flight company lost your luggage, but this is out of our control.
On the other hand, I´m so glad we finally could get it for you at your house in the USA.
We wish you the very best, and I´m sure that once you calm down your anger, you´ll have the chance to continue enjoying travelling around the beautiful world.
Thanks for your time & warm regards!

While "amazing" is a very high bar, kimkim and our local specialist Mar definitely deserve a solid "very good" rating. Mar was highly responsive and provided useful insights into Norway. We appreciate that she was open to our suggestions to book Oslo and Bergen hotels that met our high standards. I love that kimkim's technology allowed us to see all communications and provided pictures and commentary about where we were going and a detailed itinerary.

What worked perfectly were all hotel, train, funicular and cruise bookings and drivers meeting us at the Oslo airport and our Kirkenes hotel. Bjorn, our excellent Oslo tour guide, was engaging and knowledgeable. We really liked our Bergen Food & Culture Walk and the King Crab Safari in Kirkenes.

As 2 members of our group of 4 have mobility issues, it was challenging to change in Myrdal to the Flam train and to negotiate the ferries between Flam and Balestrand and Balestrand to Bergen. Perhaps because our group has taken luxury cruises in the past, we were somewhat disappointed in the Havila cruise. That said, we recognize that Havila and Hurtigruten are the primary operators for coastal voyages, and I don't believe either are noted for fine dining and highly personalized service.

While not at the level of the "bespoke" trips we've taken in the past, we enjoyed working with Mar and appreciated her insights and suggestions and willingness to accept feedback. I have a feeling that kimkim's ideal client is a younger, more active traveler than our group of 74 to 80 year olds, but I would definitely consider kimkim for future travel.

Amerikalinjen
Oslo

On every level, this is a standout hotel! To start, it's located a short walk from the Central Train Station, making it convenient for travel to/from the airport and other Norwegian cities. The staff is exceptional - helpful, knowledgeable and fluent in English. When I told the front desk person that we had to leave early to catch the 5:40 am train to the airport, she said the hotel would prepare a takeout breakfast for us. That breakfast included juice, fruit, cookies, a veggie bagel for me and a smoked salmon bagel for my husband, utensils and napkins. Our room had a comfortable king size bed and beautiful bathroom with large towels and bathrobes. As someone who has to go to the bathroom during the night, I so appreciated the light that goes on automatically under the sink. Breakfast is exceptional, with considerable variety and high quality choices. Lastly, we enjoyed drinks at the bar expertly prepared by a bartender who is actually a Greek doctor. If you want a superbly staffed and located hotel in Oslo, look no further than the Amerikalinjen.

The Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand was quite underwhelming. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, and the hotel itself wasn't impressive. The cappuccino I ordered was overpriced, and there seemed to be unnecessary charges for things that are usually complimentary in other hotels.

I still think of my trip, review my pictures, and share stories with anyone that'll listen! The attention to the details by Tiago was extraordinary. The app we received had all the details we needed for our trip, a fantastic online tool and reference instead of carrying paper records. I made the mistake of looking for answers online for a couple of specific thing, that had I thought about it, Tiago would have given me the answers. One: how to dress in Portugal? The site I visited was way off, and when I mentioned to Tiago, he sweetly gave the truth about how to dress for each location on our itinerary. Porto was our first stop, and what a beautiful city. We ventured down south to the Algarve and returned to Lisbon for our departure home. The Douro Valley, Guimaraes, Tomar, Evora, Lagos, Tavira, and so many other stops. We had 14 beautiful days in Portugal, it's a beautiful country, with lovely people, and fantastic food. And it's all thanks to the expertise and love Tiago has for his country. I'm so glad I didn't travel or plan blindly, I may have missed all the beauty Tiago exposed to us, We plan on going back....soon. Even hopes to find a second home in Lagos.

NH Collection Porto Batalha
Porto

In the heart of Porto, a stylish boutique hotel, comfortable accommodations, lovely breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff. Shower was not great, had to worry about water running out of the shower stall, design was not smart.

Authenticity & Character
Charming, well designed. Elevators in all of Portugal are way too small.
Location
Everything was either uphill, or downhill from here. A lot of walking, but we got tons of steps in.
Staff
Classy, friendly, engaging, sweet people.
Cleanliness & Comfort
Stunning. Room was spotless and well cared for.

Vasco was so special. What a pleasant young man! When he explained his name was like Vasco da Gama, I misunderstood and thought he was actually a descendant! What great laughs we had at my expense. Great sleep at night. We did it all. Restaurants nearby, great stores, the history here is abundant. The staff friendly, delicious breakfast. The shower here was the best of all the hotels we stayed.

Lagos

Location, location, location. At the Marina, but our room faced the bus terminal in the back, Luckily, we didn't spend too much time in our room. The staff were kind, professional, and helpful.

Authenticity & Character
Small breakfast room. Ramps on both sides of the entry were long and steep. They did have a power seat lift. The stairs were a lot to climb into a hotel. Just not a good design. Pay to park at the corner, convenient.
Location
It was at one end of the Marina, but the local attractions, restaurants, and shops were close. Very touristy and crowded when we were there. We weren't unhappy to leave and move to the next location.
Staff
Good service.
Cleanliness & Comfort
You could hear the noise in the halls. Weird design. It felt stark and cold. No warmth to the design. Oh, and get this. Not a single trash can at the entrance, lobby, or restaurant. The public restrooms were hidden behind a camouflaged door in the wall. Trying too hard to be cool.
Hotel Britania Art Deco
Lisbon

OMG! The best of all the hotels. Don't get me wrong, every hotel that was selected for our trip was classic, different, and comfortable. I just pointed out certain 'observations' on which they could approve. But Hotel Britania was a true historic and awesome hotel. Omar, Patric, Jose, and the dining room staff were so kind, engaged, and made our stay so memorable. We will be coming back here.

Authenticity & Character
Such wonderful dedication to retaining the character and history.
Location
Close to shopping, restaurants, and high end shopping.

Loved them all! Wish I had gotten the names of the others we met there.

You will love this place. Here too, the elevator is tiny.

Meu caro amigo Carlos!

Thank you so much for your words. I still recall very fondly the time we spent in the car because of the kids' festival in Cascais. And I start with this because it really left an impression on me. The way you spoke about your beloved ones (people and animals!!) was rather touching. I told you that I had goosebumps at a certain stage. And I told Tom the same.

I'm very happy that you enjoyed your trip and I hope to go visit you in the Algarve!!!

And I'm sorry for the longer walks!!!

All the best,

Tiago

We were there to celebrate my mom's retirement from teaching (40 years in education!) and we got a taste of everything! There were so many places that we never would have thought to even check out and because of Svetlana's expertise, we were able to experience them. Our daughter's (3 & 5) had the best time at the beaches. Inchydoney beach was one of their favorites. We got so lucky with a beautiful day and they had so much fun playing in the sand. She also booked us a visit to a Pet farm where we got to see baby goats and other animals. One of our highlights was going to see a Sheep dog and Sheering demonstration. The guide was so great with our girls and he even brought out a special baby sheep for out daughters to bottle feed, they loved it!

All of the accommodations that Svetlana booked for us were wonderful. We absolutely loved the Cahernane house, the staff there was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. It wasn't too far from town and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Our other favorite was the Lodge at Ashford Castle. We loved walking the grounds and enjoying the beauty around us. The staff was very welcoming and again, the breakfast was top notch.

I can go on and on and on about how wonderful our vacation was and how beyond helpful Svetlana was before and during our trip. We were nervous to do such a big trip in a foreign country with our young daughters, but working with Svetlana made it so easy. She took care of everything and even my husband said how nice it was to have everything taken care of before we got there. We just showed up to our hotels or to our excursions with our confirmation numbers and never had a problem. It honestly made things so easy.

We are so grateful and will be talking about this trip for years to come!

It was a good hotel and a great place for a night. It was nice that the local transit had a stop right behind it which made it easy to get to and from without having to move our car. The parking for the car was a bit out of the way and took a while to get too and from. The elevators were not so convenient. Our trip to Portugal was amazing. Everything worked as a charm, except one thing, otherwise Coraima would get a 5 star review for sure. In Lisbon, the hotel was great, in the city center and close walking distance to everything. All trips booked in Lisbon were excellent. A transfer from Lisbon to Porto was very professional, Cesar contacted us ahead of time, pinpointed a pick up spot and was waiting for us there 10 min before. He stopped in Obidos and Nazare and arrived in Porto to our hotel. Now the hotel chosen by Coraima in Porto was gorgeous, but outside of city center and required 20 min ride by Uber or Taxi to any meeting point we had. Everything else that Coraima did was excellent, the location of this hotel in Porto is the only reason why she did not get the 5 star. However, she did prepare a video of how to use kimkim app, very helpful. All other tours and transfers worked perfectly. Our previous Italy trip through kimkim was better than amazing due to concierge services of Italian kimkim rep. This time we did not have this, Coraima was the point of contact and she was in kimkim office in USA (different time zone). I think the hotel issue would not be there if local Portuguese agent booked it, not USA agent from kimkim office in Colorado. I am a Canadian, booking in high US dollars only because of kimkim local contacts. I would come back to kimkim only if next time I have a local agent doing all the bookings and have a local concierge for the quick resolution in local time zone, should the issue come up.

Awesome hotel, even better location, walking distance to everywhere you want to be. Service is out of this world, custom omelet for breakfast. On the negative side, the bar is very expensive and not consistent. The same drink was 15 and next time 19 euro, where in restaurant 50 meters away was 7 euro. Also the hotel in in pedestrian only zone, so required 50-100 meters walk for a taxi pick up, drugging your luggage. Still, I would not hesitate to stay there again.
