What can I say? Having Vicky help us plan this trip was one of the best decisions we made!
Not only did she save us hours (honestly, weeks) of research, but she also handled all the logistics, organized our schedule beautifully, and gave us access to her deep knowledge of the best experiences, places to stay, and ways to get around. Our itinerary was always up to date, easy to access online, and packed with thoughtful touches that made the trip smooth and stress-free.
It ended up being the trip of a lifetime—and I truly believe that was because of Vicky’s recommendations, planning, and support. She didn’t just help before we left; she was also there for us during the trip, quickly helping us adjust our plans when we needed to make changes and answering questions along the way. That kind of support made all the difference. I cannot recommend Vicky enough!

For those who’ve never used KimKim or worked with Vicky, here’s how our planning process went:
* We started with a live call where we shared our vision for the trip—dates, locations, ages of travelers, and the overall vibe we were hoping for.
* Vicky came back with a detailed itinerary (no small feat since ours was 21 days across 5 locations!), including activities and options for each stop.
* We reviewed her suggestions online of the activities, left comments and questions, and fine-tuned until it was exactly what we wanted.
* She found incredible accommodations that fit our group of 7so that we could stay in a room with a kitchen, etc.
* She managed all the tricky logistics: multiple flights, ferries, shuttles and connections we wouldn’t have figured out so easily on our own.
* About a week before departure, we had a final walk-through of the itinerary, which gave us a clear picture of what was ahead and got us even more excited.

Overall, Vicky made a potentially overwhelming trip not only possible but joyful to plan. This location has very high highs (interior and layout of the space and level of quality) but some low points that are unfortunate. No on site dining, limited staff support, a bit far to walk to everything and no elevator (which is only troubling when you have a lot of luggage). If we stayed here again we would rent a car.

No dining in this location and closest place for coffee was a 7 min walk. 15-20 min walk to everything else and no free shuttle. I don't know if there is a closer place but a meal option would have been nice. For others you may want to rent a car.

Upon arrival, person at the desk shared that there was a shuttle but never shared there was a charge. We were not prepared to pay 8/pp each way! She also was not very helpful with questions and only available limited hours during the day.

The room was beautiful and very well laid out with lots of space. The nicest interior of the whole trip! The only reason for the lower score is that they do not have elevators so we had to carry a lot of luggage up three flights of stairs.

Oh, it had a really small table so we were not able to eat in the room (just in case that is a must for someone else)

Explore’s Half Day Hill Inlet at Whitehaven Beach

I have mixed experiences with this tour and would want to go to Whitehaven again but in a different way, perhaps a smaller group, easier tender process and longer amount of time. We only had about 30 mins on the beach by the time we got there.

The beach is amazing but we didn't get to see much, and we had to decide between the lookout or the beach. Also, they didn't really talk or share much about the island like it was described.

Overall this was a bit disappointing. At times it felt like "going through the motions" and no real explanation or "guide". Would not recommend the zip lining for anyone that has done it in other locations. And the crocodile tour was disappointing. The boat was in very poor condition

It was in a large bus that was full. That impacted the day but the bus was in good condition and comfortable. The boat for the crocodile tour was definitely sketchy and didn't seem particularly safe (although the water level was probably not too deep).

Overall this was a great experience, but I wish there were less people. There were not enough seats for us to sit inside, and certainly not sit together, and with all of the people everything took longer, which left less time to snorkel. The way the experience is laid out and all the options (like the marine biologist presentation and observation submarine) is wonderful, but the crowds were tricky.

It was a lot of car driving and peculiar use of time. Like we drove through a neighborhood and stopped to look at kangaroos that were in someone's yard. Probably would not do this exact one again. The time in the village was too short to eat lunch and shop. The Glow Worm tour was cute and the natural bridge was amazing, but for all the driving and the wasted time, made the experience less than ideal.

Whale Watching was very well done and the Sandboarding add on was great! We had trouble with the van quality and timing, which brought the rating down.

The Whale Watching was 5/5 but the overall drive, etc. was a 3/5. My kids said the sandboarding was one of their fav activities, but we only ended up getting 20 mins because of logistics.

Jen was friendly but struggled. She couldn't find the Sandboarding location (it wasn't easily marked to her credit) but we went back to the same place three times before she asked for help, which made us late and we only got 20 mins of sandboarding. The Sandboarding was awesome but this very long drive with very stressful timing (almost missed the whale watching) made this day difficult.

Van was really tired and many of us got queasy on this drive because of how shaky the vehicle was. We also had lots of speed bumps which didn't help. We were in the car a very long time and it was in poor quality, so that made the overall experience poor.

Our trip was wonderful! The perfect balance of relaxation and activity. We loved Apsila on Sifnos. That place is something special. The cooking class and e-bike tour were both surprise hits with the family. They gave me all of the credit for planning but you did all of the work, thank you. We didn’t love the second hotel in Athens, it was fine but nothing special after our other places. We walked down the street to the Ace Hotel for dinner, which was delicious. The location and view at the EliasErmou was really good., better view than the King George Hotel! The transport to and from the airport to hotels, etc is literally my favorite thing. Makes it so easy and less stressful.

I reached out to Kimkim to get assistance with designing a disc-golf focused trip to Finland in the Summer of 2025. I had the pleasure or working with Emerson, who was able to take my idea (start with the Professional Disc Golf World Championships in Tampere/Nokia, then travel Southern Finland playing the best courses in the world) and turn it into a reality. He took the time to understand what exactly it was I wanted to see and do, where and how I wanted to travel, and he put it all together so perfectly! It was the easiest trip I've ever had to plan. Emerson took care of everything, so that all I had to do was step off the plane and follow the itinerary. The accommodations were great and well-located so we had easy access to saunas, nature and local sites, we had good food all along the way, the rental car was perfect, and the recommended (non-disc golf) excursions were always well-worth it. Professional drivers showed up in very nice cars when expected, even a little early. Emerson kept in contact with me by e-mail before and several times during my trip to assure things were going smoothly. I felt extra safe and secure in the knowledge there was someone I could call any time of the day or night during my trip. Thank you Kimkim and Emerson for making this trip a dream-come-true!

My wife, parents, and I recently took a wonderful trip to Greece using KimKim. Our tour planner Angela was excellent- she was very friendly, prompt, and ready to make any changes to the schedule that we requested. We spent time in Athens, Crete, and Thessaloniki, and the activities. Angela organized for us were absolutely perfect. We were able to find a balance between sightseeing and downtime, which made the trip extra special. Marinella (on Crete) and and Despina (Thessaloniki/Northern Greece) we’re excellent tour guides on our day trips. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout each day’s activities. Our first tour guide for the Parthenon, Michael, was also terrific. Everyone we encountered in all of the hotels, in restaurants, and elsewhere were extremely friendly and always willing to help. We loved our time together in Greece- thank you Angela for planning such a magical trip!

Our family trip to Thailand was amazing. Bella our travel agent was very responsive to calls/emails/text and her recommendation fit our family. We had a couple tour guide and they were all good, But we had Anita( A) in Banghok and she was wonderful, she was knowledgeable, informative. She had my family try a lot of good food and we enjoyed our times with her.

A visit to Mae Klong Railway market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market!

My favorite activity of the trip was definitely the visit to the Mae Klong Railway market. It was such a unique experience watching the train come through the market. Everything was incredibly exciting and memorable. My family had a wonderful time and it truly was a trip of a lifetime for everyone.

It was absolutely great working with Beatrice and the KimKim team! We had the most amazing trip! Our hotels were great and all of the tour guides were fantastic!! I highly recommend the Gothic tapas food tour in Barcelona… Facunda was outstanding!!! The market food tour in Porto was SO much fun too!! Catalonia hotel in Barcelona was the best and perfect location!! Thanks for everything! We can’t wait to do it again!!

A once in a lifetime trip! Emanuela helped us plan an amazing vacation that fit everything we asked for into an active 8 day adventure.

Our only issue was that some of the driving maps took us to the incorrect spots (off by a couple of km). But it was easily fixed.

Spent an amazing 11 days in Costa Rica, arranged by Elena. We were in 3 different locations, Manuel Antonio, Monteverde and near Arenal volcano, and all details were cared for and everything went extremely smoothly. Alex, the driver for two legs of the trip, was especially fantastic, providing history, background and sharing many stories during the hours-long drives- the time went quickly and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely recommend both Costa Rica as a destination and KimKim as a travel agent.

Incredibly beautiful home set in the mountains overlooking the Pacific. Spotlessly maintained and incredible views. During our stay, we regularly saw (and heard!) a pair of Macaws soaring overhead, a sloth in a teee over the patio and a large group of squirrel monkeys in the trees overhead. Very memorable. We had a chef come and and prepare us dinner one night because the house was so beautiful we didn’t feel a strong need to leave. Pool table and pool (with daily pool service) kept our group of 6 entertained.

Everything was sorted out for us it was easy with no issues. The activities booked were excellent. The sea kayak was good. The daily schedule was fantastic and the maps provided made it all very easy. One map on the first day led us to somebody’s house not the volcano so that was the only minor issue we had all week. The best part of the week was the glacier trek, that was outstanding well worth doing if you are able.
All things considered it was an outstanding adventure.

It was so very beautiful!!! Very difficult hike as you are very high altitude with very big incline but so worth it. The locals do rent horses, so if you don’t think you can hike it, definitely suggest getting there early so that way you can get a horse :)

My family and I had a tremendously enjoyable visit to Morocco due to the amazing work by the team at Original Travels! This is a fantastic resource. When one of our destinations was cancelled because of holiday, our representative booked us an alternative that was probably better. All the arrangements were fantastic. (Our tour guide in Avignon even helped me out of a typically European parking mishap. He was great!)

Additionally, each of our hotels were fantastic and the car rental was convenient and efficient. We were very pleased (if only someone could have lowered the temperatures in Provence that week. )

This was such a fun trip! Cusco is great city to walk around and explore. Things we learned, give yourself at least a free day after landing in Cusco to acclimate. We missed our first tour because we didn’t feel well. We really enjoyed the Pisac market and wished we would have had more time there. We loved doing 2 different circuits at Machu Picchu. We were able to do a tour with our guide, Robert, in circuit 3 one day. Then did circuit 1 the second day. They are completely different experiences and both worth it. The cooking class at Uchu was incredible. The food was delicious and a really fun experience. Gringo Bills hotel had the most comfortable bed I slept in anywhere in Peru.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, starting with the warm welcome of fragrant mint tea and delightful cookies upon check-in. Every riad we stayed at was an oasis of beauty, character, and tranquility. Whether it was the intricate tilework, soaring arches, or the lush gardens, these boutique hotels were a testament to Moroccan craftsmanship and architecture. The staff at our accommodations consistently went above and beyond, from the thoughtful surprise of a wine bottle in our room to ensure we were fully relaxed, to the adorable peacocks and puppies on the property that made each stay all the more memorable. Our itinerary was packed with unforgettable moments, thanks to our tour organizer, who curated an utterly seamless experience. Their knack for uncovering hidden gems was amazing; we visited local markets, explored historical gems like Volubilis, and savored a hearty dinner with a local family in Fez, learning stories passed down through generations. Beyond rich culture and history, adventure was front and center—whether it was riding camels through the Agafay Desert, singing around a bonfire under the stars, or enjoying a thrilling fire show. A highlight of the trip was hiking the Ouzoud Waterfalls, followed by a relaxing spa session at a luxurious Hammam in Marrakech. The professionalism of both our tour operator(Majid) and driver(Khalid) made everything effortless, even when a flight delay and missing luggage threw a challenge our way. The team’s swift action to recover our bags, despite a long detour, showed genuine care and dedication. With an English-speaking driver who was a walking encyclopedia of Morocco’s history and our knowledgeable local guides, every moment was immersive and enriching. We left not only with unforgettable memories but also having made two lifelong friends. Morocco is a destination like no other, and this tour operator has set the gold standard for customer service, making the journey truly extraordinary.

All of the plans from our KimKim specialist Coraima worked out great and were as expected. For the Mallorca portion of our trip, we elected to stay in the Alcudia area at a non-KimKim property as opposed to our specialists recommendation of the Palma area. While we will never know how a stay in Palma would have been, there were some negatives to our pick of an all-inclusive resort in Alcudia. The Alcudia area is beautiful and we had a memorable time there but The resort was jam packed and getting Beach or pool seating accommodations was difficult and costly. We elected a breakfast only plan and found that getting taxis was quite difficult when we wanted to dine outside of our walking distance area.

It was difficult and a hassle to get a desirable pool or beach chair. Or any pool or beach chair for that matter. We ultimately decided to pay additional for seating. Taxi service in the area is poor due to a limited number of cabs. One night we had to cancel a dinner reservation because we weren’t going to get there in time due to the wait for a taxi. There is probably a better choice for a family of four including two teenagers during the high summer season.

The sites are truly magnificent and interesting. With two teenagers in tow and it being our first day of the trip, we found that the length of the excursion was challenging. For the purpose of vacation time management it makes sense to do these two location visits back to back. However, adding a meal time between the two locations would provide a welcome rest and cool down period. Although it would increase the total time of the excursion.
