The Heritage Hotel Fermai in Split was pretty amazing. It stood out to me as a highlight of the trip. The accommodations were very nice and added to the overall enjoyment of the stay in Split.

The Valamar Collection Dubrovnik President Hotel was really nice and stood out as one of the highlights of my trip. The room was super spacious, which was a welcome comfort after staying in smaller hotels. It was particularly nice to enjoy the space after living out of a suitcase for a while. The amenities were excellent, with a pool and beach access. The availability of a gym and a spa center where amenities like the sauna and whirlpool were free of charge made it perfect for some downtime and relaxation.

The wine tasting on the Pelješac peninsula was really fun. It was one of the enjoyable highlights of the activities we engaged in.

The cooking class in Split was great and a fantastic part of the trip. It's always fun to learn and take home some new skills and recipes.

Best part of the trip!!!! Saw so much of the coastline, had plenty of time to swim and relax in the sun. The stop for lunch on Lopund was so fresh and delicious!

A perfect start to our trip. One of our favorite spots. We had delicious meals, and amazing music both nights.

This was such a fun day and we learned so much! Matthew and Luca were perfect hosts. They educated us about oyster farming and all the steps it takes to bring a yummy oyster to your table. In addition, we ate amazing oysters and mussels. After the Ston Oyster Experience we went to the Rizman Winery , where we tasted different types of Croatian wines as well enjoyed the beautiful views.

We loved this hotel! Beautiful property and rooms, incredibly kind staff, and great breakfast!

Our guide was friendly but not very knowledgeable. And he arrived half an hour too late. We were getting nervous and thought that the trip wasn’t going to happen

This was one of the best walking tours ever, and we had many! Dani was very enthusiastic , entertaining and knowledgeable.

Great hotel and location. Recommend the upgraded room for comfort. We had a front facing view from the highest floor so we were pleasantly pleased with the everything about the selection. Our tour guide was waiting in the lobby and the entire Oslo experience was fantastic. Oslo is a great walking city and highly recommend you experience all that the city has to offer.

Location great! Staff was lovely. Bedding good- all very clean Mattresses need replacement .

Alex was so accommodating, knowledgeable and fun-Easy to talk to and be with as well. It was our 1st full day and we went out to this beautiful area with the freshest air. Alex pointed out many things along our trek and put together a fabulous lunch for us.

Anna Marie is so knowledgeable about Finnish history and her strong connection to Turku. It was a rainy morning but we had a full tour. The hotel has well made umbrellas and the rain was not an issue. The tour does take more than 1.5 hours - realistically 2-2.5 hours and we walked fairly quickly with some inclines. Wear supportive sneakers!

Matti was a fabulous guide- full of information and guidance given in a thoughtful way. He to us to a mixed public sauna on a gorgeous clean lake. I can’t say enough about our experience. It was an enlivening experience!! Bring your sauna shoes( flip flops are fine) and don’t eat only a small meal or snack, if needed, before heading out.

This was a lovely boat ride even though we didn’t see any seals. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did his best. It became a bit rainy and the seals don’t like the rain! The lake is beautiful and did see ospreys. Lots of binoculars available on the boat.

Beautifully restored hotel, great location. Rooms were spacious and facilities excellent. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Pastel de Nata available to nibble on all day!

Filipa was a great guide. Punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was able to keep one step ahead when there was traffic issues in Sintra and kept us updated with arrival times, etc. The Pena Palace was stunning, lots to see and beautiful surroundings.

This was an excellent hotel in the middle of our trip that was beautiful, relaxing, and energizing for us. We loved being in front of a quiet bay and enjoyed lots of ocean time, which was much needed. It felt like we were on a Tahitian vacation right in Australia.

Completely fascinating! We loved it and was able to hear someone practicing the pipe organ while we toured the concert hall. We loved learning the history behind this gorgeous edifice. It is so stunning in person.

We enjoyed our tour group and guide. They were a wonderful group and we all enjoyed getting to know each other. The Daintree Tour was educational, relaxing, and interesting.

What an incredible experience! It’s a must when you visit Peru! Dune buggy rides, sand tubing and sand boarding are all part of the experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We returned from glamping in Huacachina to the airport hotel. We are so happy we were so close to the airport. We had a morning flight to Cusco. Traffic is insane in Lima.

You MUST visit this resort when staying in the Sacred Valley. It was incredible! The resort is beautiful inside and out. Do yourself a favor and visit the spa. I had the 90 minute Kallpa massage with Marilia. It was the absolute best massage I have ever had! Don’t skip this one.

The location of this hotel was great! There is no heat/air, but it wasn’t too bad in June. The rooftop breakfast was nice.

This hotel was okay. It was clean and well-kept. There is no heat/air. It was quite chilly in June. Fortunately they had a space heater in the room. It was off the beaten path and little difficult to get to. We’d prefer to stay closer to the main plaza.

This is an ABSOLUTE MUST when visiting Peru! The five-hour bus ride from Lima was very comfortable and definitely worth it. The experience includes glamping plus dune buggies, sand tubing, and sand boarding. Do not skip this experience!

Our tour guide was amazing, but I’m going blank on his name. 😕 It was our very first experience. We saw the highlights of Lima. We enjoyed this tour.

We enjoyed our wine tasting and tour of Tacama Winery. The grounds are beautiful. It was the perfect stop before boarding a five-hour bus ride back to Lima. Highly recommend.

One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to a local **potter**, where we witnessed the entire process—from gathering soil and making clay to crafting, firing, and transporting the finished pottery to market. It was a rare, immersive glimpse into local artisan life. At the Ksar itself, **Ibrahim**, the waiter who looked after us during every meal, deserves special recognition. His service was **impeccable**—he anticipated our every need and treated us with such grace and care that we truly felt like royalty. Ibrahim’s warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression. Another standout was **Lahsan**, the young man who welcomed us with a detailed and heartfelt tour of the Ksar. His pride in the history and beauty of the property was evident, and his introduction set the tone for the rest of our incredible stay. Ksar El Kabbaba is more than just a place to stay—**it’s an experience** that connects you with the land, the people, and the traditions of Morocco. We left feeling deeply enriched and grateful. From start to finish, it was truly magical—**unlike anything we've done before**. The journey begins at a hotel staging area with a refreshing swimming pool—perfect for a quick dip if it’s too hot for the camels to head to camp. But once the sun dips just enough, you’ll mount your camel and begin the most **mesmerizing trek** through golden dunes. Halfway to the camp, we paused to watch the **sunset melt into the sand**, a moment of absolute stillness and beauty. From there, you can choose a 4x4 ride or keep going by camel—**we highly recommend the camel ride all the way**. It’s slow, rhythmic, and allows you to truly absorb the silence and majesty of the Sahara. Upon arrival at the camp, we were met with **appetizers and warm smiles**—regardless of the time of arrival. The vibe was laid-back and welcoming, like stepping into a time warp of sorts. It reminded me of the **peaceful, love-filled spirit of the 1960s**—where time slows down, no one's in a rush, and the only schedule that matters is your own. That said, everything still ran smoothly—meals were served when everyone was ready, and **what meals they were!** **Fatima**, the camp chef, deserves a standing ovation. Her dishes were **scrumptious, heartfelt, and clearly made with care**. Every bite felt like a celebration of Moroccan flavors. The **watchmen of the camp** were equally remarkable—multi-talented, gracious, and always in motion. From carrying luggage to serving meals, sweeping sand from the rugs, and offering **joyful Berber music under the stars**, they created a seamless and unforgettable experience. Huge thanks and kudos to **Lahcen (Hossan), Ibrahim, Hamid, and of course, Fatima** the chef. There were others whose names we didn’t catch, but they were equally wonderful. And don’t forget to **order a bottle of Moroccan wine** with dinner—it’s surprisingly good and the perfect accompaniment to a meal under the stars. This wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was **a vibe, a feeling, a memory** we’ll always hold close. A peaceful, easy feeling that captures the true heart of Morocco.

Fantastic Culinary Experience at La Maison Arabe Our time at La Maison Arabe Cooking School was one of the most enjoyable and enriching parts of our stay in Marrakech. The class was extremely well organized, striking the perfect balance between instruction and hands-on experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully prepared. The chefs and instructors were professional, friendly, and made the whole process easy to follow, even for those with little kitchen experience. We appreciated how the class walked us through traditional Moroccan recipes step by step, and gave us plenty of time to ask questions and really get involved. The best part? It wasn’t just a demo—we each had our own workstation and were fully hands-on, making everything from scratch. At the end of the class, we sat down to enjoy our meal together, and it was absolutely delicious. They also provided printed recipes to take home, which was a wonderful touch and will allow us to recreate the magic back in our own kitchens. If you're interested in Moroccan cuisine, La Maison Arabe’s cooking school is a must-do. A fun, flavorful, and beautifully run experience!

A Truly Wonderful Potter – Talented, Kind, and Joyful Meeting this potter was an absolute highlight! He is genuinely one of the nicest, happiest, and most talented artisans we’ve encountered. With great patience and kindness, he showed us the entire process—from gathering the soil, breaking it down, making the clay, to helping me throw a pot myself. It was such a hands-on and memorable experience. He didn’t stop there—he went on to explain and demonstrate how he fires his works, sharing his craft with such passion and gentleness. What struck me most was his humble, gentle nature combined with true artistry. If you get the chance, don’t miss visiting this amazing potter. His warmth and talent truly bring Moroccan craftsmanship to life.

There was a man who gave us a tour of the leather store, including the viewing of the dying vats. However, the smell was almost unbearable.

This was a nice chance to get to know a local family. I had fun helping in the kitchen. As a treat, our hostess gave me henna on my hand. What fun!

Nice hike with a kind young man, sorry I don't have his name. He clearly loved to hike. This was one of my husband's favorite activities.

What a beautiful structure and space.

The entire town was shut down because of Eid al-Adha. Our driver, Oussama drove us around to see parts of town which was very nice. Our guide walked us around where the market would have been. However, everything was closed. That was not the guide's fault. If I had known that EVERYTHING was closed, I would have preferred to spend the day at the beach or had free time to take the ferry to Spain for the day. Live and learn.
