Fantastic trip to Portugal. Pedro provided the perfect itinerary for our first trip to this amazing country. Food tour in Lisbon, Sintra, Belem, Cascais, Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Our drivers were great - Carlos and another Carlos as well as our guides - Pedro and Margarida. Pedro booked us in a wonderful hotel and even got us an upgraded room. I will book with kimkim again as everything went very smoothly. Obrigado , new friends!

We had a terrific time during our 9 day tour of Morocco. Our driver/guide Hicham was fantastic. He is an exeptional driver. He knows all the roads very well and especially knows where the hidden policeman are! He was always on time and extremely knowledgeable about all of the places we visited. We very much enjoyed visiting all the cities and sites on the tour. Plus Hicham took us to several small villages where we got a very intimate view of everyday Moroccan life. That was real treat not listed in the itinerary. We liked all the Riad accomodations during the tour especially our stay with Michelle at the Kasbah Tiziri. All of the local guides were fantastic especially in Marrakech and Fatima in Ait Ben Haddou. Overall we could not be happier with this tour. We came for the sights but left with an extreme appreciation for the warm and welcoming nature of the Moroccan people.

Riad Farouzi Fes

I stayed at Riad Farouzi Fes, and it was a pleasant experience despite a minor design flaw that caused me to hit my head on a shelf in the bathroom (I'm almost 6'4). The staff was absolutely amazing, especially a lovely gentleman who wrote our names in Arabic and suggested an outstanding restaurant for dinner. The kindness and hospitality of the staff made the stay a memorable one.

We stayed at Sahara Stars Luxury Camp and found it to be quite alright. I found it interesting that the camp isn't in the middle of the desert but rather on its edge for safety reasons.

During our stay at Riad La Croix Berbère Luxe in Marrakesh, we faced an inconvenient issue of having no water from mid-afternoon until the next morning. This unexpected outage was a bit of a challenge, but water did return by morning. Although it was a minor inconvenience, it was not entirely unexpected in an older area, and overall, our stay was decent.

The food tour in Marrakech was a highlight of our trip! Our guide was outstanding and took us to incredible places. Each stop was full of delicious food, and the experience was enhanced by the guide’s knowledge and enthusiasm.

Our trip to Portugal and Spain was excellent. All of the arrangements were perfectly done by Raquel and her team. They were extremely accommodating to our needs and wants and everything in the trip went flawlessly. Every driver pick up was perfectly on time. All of the drivers had a great personality and talked with us the entire time. We actually became friends with Ze (I think his full name is Jose but he said to call him Ze) He is a musician as I am and we share videos now of each other performing. He was extremely friendly. In addition Jesus another driver from Sevilla to Granada was equally as good. So friendly, knowledgable and went out of his way to be accommodating for us. Both of these people should get 5 stars plus and get bonuses. That being said we tipped everyone we encountered very well.

For the tour guides, they were also excellent and tipped well. Ones that stood out were Feliz at the hike to the castle in Lisbon. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and a great person to be around. All of the rest of the guides were amazing fun and just great people. There are too many to name, however I am going to name one more that has to be the nicest person we encountered. His name was Paulo and he was the guide to Nazare. The strangest part is that I never met him in person. I unfortunately along with my wife got sick that day and could not go on the tour. He did take our friends Lisa and Mike though. That being said he was so concerned with our health, that he offered to take us to the hospital, when we refused he went to the pharmacy got us some medicine and brought it to the hotel. He continued to call us through the day to make sure we were ok. He was a true hero on my book. The medicine he got us made us better so we could go on the next days tours.

All of the hotels, tours, rides were excellent. Thanks KIM KIM tours you were amazing.

Our university send a mixed group of 19 people to Greece, including students, faculty, parents and staff. We spent four days in Athens and three days in Santorini. Overall, the feedback from the group on the itinerary and activities has been fantastic.
In Athens, we took a guided tour of the Parthenon and Acropolis museum, a food tour, and a day trip to Delphi. In Santorini we took a guided tour of the island and a Catamaran tour of the caldera. To a one the guides were professional, informative, responsive to questions, and enthusiastic about working with our group. Our group appreciated the VARIETY of activities offered.
Chris and the KimKim team made the logistics easy and smooth. They organized transportation to and from the airport, a high-speed ferry transfer from Athens to Santorini, and our flight back. It was easy to get our tickets and our transports showed up on time.
As a trip leader, I was a VERY appreciative of the chance to let a professional organize the logistics, and Chris spoke with me on the phone several times during the brainstorming phase to learn about our group and make suggestions about what kinds of activities we would enjoy.
Overall, I had a great experience working with Chris and the KimKim team. I will definitely use them for travel planning in the future!

Guðmundur "Gummi" Óli Pálmason was so helpful in planning our last minute visit. He readjusted the itinerary a few times to meet our needs and wants, and gave us some very valuable insider tips for each activity, location and lodging. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Iceland and can’t wait to return. We can’t thank Gummi and the Kim Kim team enough for helping make this trip unforgettable and fun for the whole family!

This was our second trip to Namibia, organized by Lucy, and as always, a beautiful experience. This time was a family adventure that will last forever in our minds.
The lodges that she advised were wonderful, well located, excellent food and kind staff. The rental car was comfortable, and the agency that received us at the beginning and end of the trip were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, we had a great trip touring Morocco. Our driver was extremely friendly and engaging-SAMIR GEMMAOUI. Thanks to him we were able to go to the most beautiful spots in Morocco.

I highly recommend Kimkim as they are very well organised , reliable and have a good network on the ground!

We will certainly use them again.

Given the distance we were travelling for a family of four people the van could have been more comfortable! but the driver was amazing

Sebastian was easy to work with and prompt to respond to questions and requests. He set up a good Paris and Alsace region itinerary for us.
While we thoroughly enjoyed Paris- we did not like the Paris hotel at all. Although the staff at the hotel were kind, the amenities, location, bed, pillows and breakfast were not to our standards. The promise of a one day turn around laundry service according to the laundry brochure in our room ended up not being true. A lot of noisy people congregated most nights in the ally outside our room. I would dare to say this is even a 3 star hotel.
The hotel in Strasbourg was great. The staff went above and beyond in accommodating us. The Alsace villages tour was good and the pastry cooking class was top notch. The only feedback I would give regarding Strasbourg is that 4 nights is one too many.
Overall, I would give the entire trip 4/5 stars, but working with Sebastian was 5/5.

This was an unexpected highlight of our time in Strasbourg. Dominique was amazing. She was welcoming and had everything well prepared. She kept apologizing for her English, but there was no need as we were able to communicate with her very well. We don’t do much baking, but she was a great teacher. Getting to spend some time with her in her home really made us feel like we’d had an authentic Alsatian experience, and the rhubarb tarts we made were delicious! This was a 10/10 experience!

We had the absolute pleasure of spending 10 days exploring Morocco with Samir Gemmaoui as our tour guide and driver, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment our trip began, Samir was professional, incredibly polite, and exceptionally knowledgeable about every region we visited.

Throughout the journey, he was always accommodating—no matter what changes we made to our schedule, he adjusted with ease and grace. His communication was clear and consistent from beginning to end, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of at all times.

Samir went above and beyond to ensure our family had a memorable experience in Morocco. Whether we were in the cities, the desert, or the mountains, he shared insights that enriched every part of our journey. We truly appreciated his warmth, reliability, and the pride he takes in his work.

We absolutely loved our time in greece. The itinerary was a balance of exploring the town of the islands and also the unique pats. The recommendations also came in a lot of handy.
Our accommodations were fantastic throughout, but we especially want to highlight Anteliz Suites — it was truly a standout. Great service and a perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of Santorini.
I'm really glad we did not have to worry about planning the activities and the hotels, as that saved us a lot of time. The transportation also being almost fully taken care of was great — it made the whole experience so much smoother and more relaxing.

If we had the chance to do it again, we would probably start the trip in Athens or potentially skip it altogether, as the islands captured our hearts more. Santorini, in particular, was absolutely breathtaking — we only wish we had spent more time there.

The entire tour was perfect. The tour guide that they choose for each tour were fantastic and very, very knowledgeable. Joseph was not only very informative but made the tour such a fun experience during our tour of the Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia.. Our second tour was a Tapas and wine tour. Korneila was our guide for this tour and she was lovely! The spots she took us were phenomenal! The first spot i will dream about forever! It was such a wonderful and delicious experience. Our last tour was in Costa Brava and that was a very long day but our guide Kimuu was excellent! Again super knowledgeable and super friendly! His coworker as well, who drove us to and from each destination. The Drivers were also friendly and were on time for each transfer. This was not my first time going to Spain but it was my mothers, brother and his girlfriends first time and they had an incredible time! I am so happy that our first time experience with Kimkim was such a great experience. The hotels were amazing especially the hotel in Costa Brava! That was such a perfect place to end our vacation. The picture did not do it justice! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone I know. The only issue was for the first tour we had a hard time finding our guide. There was not any specific details on what to look for but luckily we got to the meeting point on time and we were able to find Vincent aka joseph. Thank you KIMKIM for making my 30th birthday amazing.

This was our first visit to Japan and started as a 25th wedding anniversary trip, which eventually lead to a family vacation. We are a family of five, with 3 teenagers ranging in age from 16 to 19 years old. The interests within our group varied from wanting to explore big cities, learning about the history and culture, to experiencing life like a local. Despite these differences, we all had fairly high expectations and Japan did NOT disappoint!

Our itinerary was fairly ambitious - Tokyo, Disney Seas, Hankone, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, Nara, Miyajimaguchi/Hiroshima and Osaka. Perhaps we could have scheduled more 'down time' but we wanted to see and do as much as possible in our two weeks. Our Kim Kim travel expert Sandy was outstanding! We had 5 or 6 trip versions before we made our final itinerary and Sandy was always prompt to respond to our requests and questions. Even while on the ground in Japan, she was in touch and checked in to ensure the trip was running smoothly. She went above and beyond to ensure it was a once in a lifetime experience for us and even arranged a surprise anniversary cake during our trip!

We also arranged a few guided tour days during our two weeks and it was money well spent. And while all of our guides were friendly and extremely knowledgable, we would like to specifically thank Nick Sakurado in Tokyo for helping us on Day 1 to navigate the city and the subway/train systems. This allowed us to confidently use public transportation for the remainder of our trip. He was also brilliant in his lunch food recommendations!

We'd like also thank Tsuyama Hiroshi (Hiro), for walking us through Kyoto and Nara. He thoughtfully planned out our days to ensure we would avoid the peak tourist times at the more popular attractions. And lastly, we would like to express our appreciation to Kigami Masako for her patience and sharing her knowledge of Hiroshima both past and present. This travel day was very warm and she thoughtfully made lunch accommodations to allow those of us in the group extra time to cool down, before continuing on with our day.

I could go on and write much more but it would be a book length review. Each member of our travel group simply loved every minute of our trip and Japan exceeded all of our expectations. I know we will be back again one day. Arigato gozaimasu!

We started our trip in Manina for 1 night. The driver that picked us up from the airport was there waiting and ready. But he dropped us off at the wrong hotel. Luckily the right one was across the street. Day 2 Jonathan picked us up and drove us to Ilocos Sur. Jonathan was great. But our hotel Staylite Candon Hotel was not good at all. The water was cold, they provided 1 towel for 2 people, the bathroom was covered in mold, the only gave us 1/2 a roll of toilet paper. We were supposed to stay 2 more nights but we stayed with family instead. Staylite would not give us a refund. Jonathan made some suggestions and took us to Vigan and a US military memorial. I found my uncles name on the wall that fought in WWII and was missing in action for 30 years. His remains were eventually found and he is buried at Arlington. None of my family knew that he was memorialized in the Philippines.
Day 5 Jonathan drove us back to the Manila airport. We took a plane and ferry to Boracay. There was someone there at every step to help us through. That was very nice.

Boracay was nice. But very crowded. The Hennan Park Resort was great. Loved the pool and massage poolside. But too many screaming splashing kids ruined it a bit. Also, guests had their clothes drying out in front of their hotel rooms on a rack and all over chairs and bushes. It made the hotel looked a little trashy.

Day 6 we did a boat tour. We really enjoyed that. The water was so warm. We had to find our way back after the tour. No driver.

Day 7 we were picked up and went to the airport for two flights to Puerto Princesa. Our flight was delayed and we were rerouted. I got in touch with the tour guide and the driver was waiting when we eventually arrived. We missed the firefly and dinner cruise that night. The tour guide gave us a cash refund. But we were still disappointed to miss it. We stayed at the Hue Hotel and resort. It was very nice.
Day 8 we did a bat cave river tour and saw a few monkeys. That was a lot of fun. We would have liked to stay in Puerto Princessa longer. It was the cleanest place on the trip.
We drove to our next hotel Lime Resort in El Nido. The hotel was very nice. We did 2 boat tours. Tour A we were not clear on where to ren Masks and snorkel. We thought it would be on the boat. There was no mention that we had to get them from someone on the beach. Luckily we were able to borrow some on the boat or it would have been a total dud for us.
Tour B the next day we found rentals. The water was great. But one stop (where we saw a lot I'd fish we quickly saw a lot of jelly fish and jumped out of the water.

Day 11 we took a 4 hour ferry to Corona. Again we had someone walk us through every step and a driver was waiting for us to take us to the next hotel The two seasons. The hotel was great. But their tv and tablet were down. So the bathroom had clear glass walls and Zero privacy. My boyfriend and I got to know each other much better.

Both boat tours were great both days. However the last one we rented a kayak, snorkel gear and fins. We were never told anything about how much it would be and were told at the end that it was 1650 pesos. Luckily we had it. The guide promised change for 2000 and we got off the boat and he was gone.

The next day we flew back to Manila and then the next day we flew home. Drivers were ready and waiting for us along the way.

Overall we had a great time on the trip. There are some changes that I would have made.

Considering how inexpensive everything was in Philippines, I think that we paid way too much for the whole trip. I liked the convenience of having it planned out and scheduled and booked for us. But I could have done it for less than half the cost we paid.

Our trip to Scotland was a great experience. Starting with the planning with Aleksandra all the way to Edinburgh. Aleksandra was wonderful to work. We really liked experiencing things that we would not have found on our own, such as the ferry from Ballycastle or the Corriegour hotel near Fort Williams. We also very much appreciated that anytime we were scheduled for a driver, the driver was there, on time, and knowledgable.

Dublin: Our flights were delayed into Dublin, so we missed the Dublin walking tour. The Dublin Castle was interesting, but not a highlight of the trip. Iveagh Garden Hotel is somewhere we'd be happy to return to.

Belfast: Driver on time and ready. Arrived in Belfast at the Rooms2 Belfast Hometel. The low point of the trip was the food tour in Belfast. First, there was only one dish served and then ice cream at a convenience store. The guide, Conar, was a bit self-absorbed (we heard several stories about his family thinking he was the black sheep). Would not recommend this one again.

Ballycastle to Port Ellen: Ferry was great (a 38 ft vessel) and we were the only passengers. Arrived in Port Ellen and driver was waiting. Another Place, The Machrie was as good as it gets. The experiences at Laphraoig, Ardbeg, and Lagavulin was a great experience. And the part of our group that went on the wildlife tour said it exceeded there expectations. Islay overall was a highlight of the trip.

Fort Williams: Corriegour hotel was a pleasantly unique experience. Christian (mom), Ian (son), and grandaughter were great hosts - and the food was superb. In town, Grog & Gruel was a nice casual place. We enjoyed being in town. Ben Nevis was another opportunity for a good whiskey. Unfortunately we missed eating a Crannog Seafood - we were enjoying our time at Corriegour a bit too much.

Isle of Skye: What a dramatic landscape and interesting drive. The drive was a bit too long, but we felt like we saw a lot.

Inverness: The Hootenany music, food, and hotel was a unique (all positive) experience. Our one night in Inverness will be remembered fondly.

Edinburg: Train ride through the countryside. Arrive in Edinburgh. Virgin Hotel was perfect. Edinburgh Old Town Tour was perfect. Witchery was a fantastic experience. The castle is always interesting. And to finish it off, the Private Scotch Whisky & Artisan Food Tasting Tour was a highlight. We really enjoyed Edinburgh.

Our trip was everything that we asked for and then some. We embarked on a multi-country trip, visiting cities, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, scenic drives, and immersive experiences. All the guides (John, Raquel, Rui Jesus, Hamid, Marta, and drivers, Rafa, Marta David- driver/guide, Ryad Mekouki) chosen were knowledgeable, personable, and exemplary in their duties. I decided to choose our hotels, and agreed on a couple that Beatriz recommended. The initial questionnaire helped us to define what we wanted out of our trip. The questionnaire was used to build the first version of our trip. The flexibility to continuously communicate with Beatriz and her peers was great. They drafted four custom versions of our trip before we settled on a specific one. Beatriz also made suggestions to help us stay within budget. The trip plan went live exceptionally well. We were treated with kid gloves from our arrival at the airport until we departed for home. I will be a repeat customer of Kim Kim, and throughout our entire trip, when travelling in a small group, we spoke highly of Kim Kim. Hopefully, new customers will have the opportunity to experience this affordable custom travel.

Unfortunately we had to postpone and then cancel our trip due to illness, but Deborah and Anna-marie could not have been more kind, helpful, or gracious, not to mention professional. They not only helped us plan a fabulous trip but then were super responsive and accommodating as we tried to rebook and then cancel the trip, providing all the documentation we needed for filing an insurance claim. I’ll continue using KimKim for all our trips; this experience is another example of its excellent service and support, including when life gets in the way of best laid plans.

We had a wonderful time in Morocco! Mohammed, our driver and guide for most part, was absolutely amazing. He always had water bottles for us, was attentive in regards to lunch time and what we wanted to see, was super patient with all our questions and was entertaining at the same time. We couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us around Morocco, from Casablanca to Marrakech in a big lop going through the dessert to the east . Other people who supported us was Ibrahim via text, Hassan, our driver and guide from Errachidia to Merzouga, and Ismael, taking us on a tour of the medina in Marrakech (we'd be lost without him!).

Salvo and Petre (Our driver for all things Sicily) were incredible.
