Our trip was simply amazing. Our driver Ziad was an absolute gem and extremely flexible. The highlights of our trip were definitely the tour of the Fes Medina and the camel ride to our luxury camp in the desert. Once in a lifetime experience. Our riads/ hotels were perfect for us and the trip was so smooth, no issues at all. Highly recommend Majid and our itinerary for any first timers to Morocco wanting the highlights!

Working with Kimkim and specialist Sarah was easy and accessible. I like the platform of interacting with the specialist (Whats App & Kimkim platform, and email. We went through several versions of our itinerary so I appreciate the patience as this was the first time visiting the Philippines, along with my 91 year old mother. So special care needed to be given. The air and ground transportation went without a hitch. I also appreciated having a local Philippine agent, Angela, who helped with any questions about activities and contacts. Tourist Driver Manila is a reliable agency with comfortable cars and safe drivers -- Ed & Anthony were helpful and patience with us and my mom. We had a wheelchair to transport.

Caba, La Union: Our stay at Solarena Resort was lovely, quiet. It seemed we were the only guests there. The food options were limited, but definitely the stay felt like home, and very familiar to beach living. The staff was accommodating. The hotel is definitely not a "luxury" hotel, but worth the value -- especially since we had a large house with 2 separate beds, 2 TVs (appreciate access to Netflix), our own indoor and out door living area. The hotel also had air conditioning. The hot water for the show was not so hot, but since it was a very humid and hot outside, this was not an issue. The shower actually felt refreshing. Evalyn, the restraunt hostess, along with the other staff were helpful. Evalyn shared her knowledge about how to look for clams at the beach. I found some. This was a nice touch for my personal experience. This hotel is close to the "downtown" area of Caba. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Palawan: My favorite island with my favorite hotel, Four Points Sheraton at Sabang Beach. Large, but easy to naviage hotel. Also, a huge pool, great breakfasts, and close to the Underground River. I like that the Four Points had Netflix, and this hotel was easy for me to navigate with my 91 year old mom.

Our only hiccup was that we did not have timely pick up in at Palawan PPA. Somehow Palawonderful Adventures either forgot, or got mixed up. I contacted notified Sarah/Angela. Maybe an hour later our driver picked us up to take us to our hotel. So service was delivered. Palawonderful Adventures made up for the gaffe by sending us a tour agent (Arnel Nalica) who gave extra care to my 91 year old mother, and even held her hand during the Underground River tour and during all of the boat rides. As he explained, he took care of my mother, so I could relax and enjoy myself too. I appreciate the empathy and awareness that he had for his guests.

My only regret, and now that I am aware, was that the Palawan Puerta Princesa Airport was 2 hours away from our hotel, so we did not arrive until evening. The dark, winding roads from the airport to the hotel was unexpected. I actually wished we spent more time on Palawan given the distance, as we only spent 2 nights. Palawan is BEAUTIFUL, and my favorite island.

Boracay: The "Waikiki" of the Philippines -- party atmosphere, if that's what a person wants. However, we stayed at the Crimson Resort and Spa, luxury hotel where we had a private beach -- also fantastic service, fantastic breakfasts, and other restaurants on site. Easy to get other transportation to leave to resort to explore the town and island. I used the beach, spa massages with Hazel (very strong hands!) Helpful staff, lifeguards, and activitie staff -- I think they were all biased towards my 91 year mom as they were attentive to her. The staff arranged for various activities, including parasiling for my 91 year old mom. My only desire was I wish they had Netflix . Otherwise, another hotel I would recommend.

Overall, the contacts, agencies, and transportation set up by Sarah and her team were reliable, and easily accesible. I would certainly recommend Sarah for our next trip.

My husband and I travelled in the Yucatan Peninsula for 16 days. Hugo designed our trip which included a number of private drivers and guides. Every single driver and guide was excellent. There were 2 small glitches along the way, but both were quickly and efficiently handled. During our trip we were in contact with an assigned "assistant", Luz Ma , who checked in with us to confirm each day's schedule. She was also excellent and responded immediately to our questions. The hotels that Hugo booked with us were all very good, with the best being the Hacienda Merida. It was a pleasure to work with Hugo and the Rutopia staff.

Our Driver Karim and Original Travels truly deserves 5 star rating.. It was an amazing experience with Karim and my family wouldn't have enjoyed Morocco like we did without Karim. Karim spoke English very well. Karim was very knowledgeable about various topics starting from religion, history, politics and even economics. Karim was a very good driver and we wouldn't have completed the entire circle (starting from Casablanca --> Fez --> Merzuga --> Marrakech) in 4 days without Karim. And yet, We spent proper time in every city. Karim was always available on time in the morning. Karim stopped wherever we requested him. We had two adult college attending boys and they enjoyed the trip too.

Karim helped to buy additional excursions (be it ATV, Jardin Majorelle or Chellah ruins in Rabat). There were no complaints if we added a stop. Karim was very friendly and playful.. He made the environment lively. He made a good recommendations about food. He was very practical and kept us informed when roads were blocked due to snow while going from Fez to Merzuga.. Almost every day we skipped lunch so did he - just to accomodate our hectic routine and to ensure that we get Sahara desert on time (for camel ride) or Ouarzazate on time (for Atlas Studio). It was an amazing trip and everything went perfect only because we were in good hands of Karim.

Karim was berber and shared a lot about Berber community. He respected our wishes in car too (when my son wanted to study or sleep). There were no surprises by Original travels or Kimkim either.. Everything was booked as requested. I would definitely recommend Original Travels and even ask for Karim if you can!

We fully enjoyed our vacation to Costa Rica. The entire production was well organized by the team and we enjoyed a memorable family vacation. The trip out to Arenal was memorable at night. It is through some serious back and windy roads and so a little more heads up on that front in the travel description would have been great. Not everyone handles these types of car rides the same and the trip back (during the day) and a different driver was actually much more pleasant. Nevertheless, it was worth it!

We arrived at Hotel Mountain Paradise. The authentic and "rustic" rainforest setting was amazing and the view of the Arenal volcano was spectacular. The staff was delightful and polite. We enjoyed ziplining, the bridges and the forest walk on our first day. It was an early morning (since we came in late the night before) but beating the crowds was worth it. The facility got more crowded (December is peak season) as the day moved on. It was a unique and breathtaking experience.

The second day excursion was also enjoyable but we felt the volcano hike portion was underwhelming. Again, the trail was crowded and at the very end of the hike we did locate a couple of howler monkeys. However, the time spent on that portion of the trip meant that we had very little time at the waterfall. We were given about 30 minutes to hike down, jump in the falls and hike back up. It would have been more enjoyable to have a fair amount of time at the waterfall. As an unexpected surprise, we did have a complimentary lunch in La Fortuna and had a chance to go to a local restaurant (this was not mentioned on our itinerary.

Both "half day" excursions had us picked up between 7 and 8 AM and returning around 2:30-3:30 PM. They were long "half days" so I don't recommend doing any full day excursions if you want to enjoy the hotel or surrounding areas. We did fully enjoy the hotel and La Fortuna area (by taking an Uber) and being able to spend time together enjoying things in an amazing setting.

Our travel out to Guanacaste on Christmas day was extended by traffic near Liberia. It was almost four hours of travel time but the driver was professional and courteous and we much appreciated a short rest stop to use a restroom and stretch our legs. The Papagayo Golden Palms greeted us with an amazing setting and the beach beckoned. We enjoyed the facilities and this hotel was a bit more "modern" and the air conditioning and showers worked more reliably.

On both days, we enjoyed the pool, the beach and seeing the monkeys that live in the trees surrounding the hotel. We had a delightful dinner at the hotel (which was very good) and a great breakfast buffet. We did share a hotel shuttle with another family to Playa Del Coco for more beach time, food and souvenir shopping. Playa Del Coco had the most authentic Pura Vida vibes as we shared the area with both locals and tourists. We fully enjoyed our stay and the hotel coordinating a trip for us to that unique setting.

Our last day was met with a delay in our United flight home. We reached out to kimkim and they were able to extend our pickup by another 30 minutes. That was much appreciated as it allowed us to stay at the nice hotel for just a bit longer (before heading to the airport). Liberia is a small but bustling airport and easily accessible from Guanacaste. I highly recommend flying in/out of that airport over San Jose if you are in the coastal area.

Arenal Volcano Hike was okay but the hike to "lava fields" that were about a mile closer to the volcano through a crowded trail wasn't much different than just taking pictures from the trailhead. The second part of the hike through more of the rainforest was a bit more interesting. The La Fortuna waterfall was the best part of the trip for our family but extrememly short so we had to move very quickly and rushed to enjoy any of it. It would be nice if the waterfall was longer.

Carino was so helpful in scheduling tours, excurions, meals, and transfers. I am not sure scheduling everything ahead of time was the best plan, as the weather was rainy and many things were cancelled due to the weather but no refunds were provided for cancelled excursions or tours. All of the tours/excursions that did occur were great. The guides were all wonderful. And since they were all booked through the agent, I have no contact information to pursue refunds.

The overall experience was very nice and allowed me to enjoy the trip rather than worry about the logistics. Bella and team were also very responsive whenever any questions arose. With that said, planning a trip online is convenient but also somewhat limits your interaction with the advisor and makes it a bit difficult to learn about all your options. For example, our room in Bangkok was so tiny that we could not fit our luggage. Loved the hotel and location but my bad for not confirming the room size in more detail. In general, most tours and providers used were great but unfortunately we did not enjoy our food tour in Bangkok as an example. Our guide was lovely but it felt more like a friend or a chaperone taking us to dinner at the market, not a curated experience. This will happen since you are booking with KimKim and do not know who your providers will be and can’t research them in advance. In the end, I ended up booking another food tour with a food tour company which was absolutely amazing. But all in all it’s a great way to plan a trip quickly and travel efficiently especially if you don’t have much time in a country you are visiting.

My husband, daughter and I did a 3-day tour of Delhi and Agra during Dec 2025.
While it was a very hectic trip, Ravi and his team did a wonderful job outlining the trip plan and it was executed flawlessly by the team on the ground in Delhi- Adarsh, Dharmender and in Agra- Ronit plus Rajeshji who was there throughout the trip.
We would like to redo the trip at a more leisurely pace in the near future. Looking forward to teaming up with the Active Holidays team for our next India adventure!!

We had a very enjoyable trip. The cars provided were very spacious and comfortable and the drivers polite and efficient. W ewere met where we needed to be, except on the 21st December at Bangkok airport where we were told to meet at gate 11 ony to find there was no gate 11. It was by chance that we met our contact in the middle of the airport.

Generally the amount of time allocated to get to airports was too generous and resulted in rather a lot of waiting. For example, the drive from our hotel to Chaiang Mai airport took 20 minutes, not the 2 hours allocated. The drive from Aryasom Villas to Bangkok airport took 50 minutes but we were scheduled an 830 pick up for a 1240 flight. Of course extra time has to allowed for possible problems, but thiswas too long.
Apart from that, everything went very well. We were really pleased Tina was able to cancel the flights from Phuket to Chian g Mai and arrange for a cash refund.

Adam (and Team) did a terrific job helping us plan our vacation to Costa Rica. We had a great visit! Better than expected frankly and already thinking of another visit next year. Highly recommend working with KimKim to plan your trip. We visited Playa Hermosa for a relaxing few days at the beach while staying at the memorable Hotel Bosque del Mar (the staff were so friendly and accommodating and we loved every meal!) . Then on to Hotel Arenal Lodge where we traveled into La Fortuna to join a cooking class and prepare and eat an authentic Costa Rican meal, followed the next day with a hiking tour of Arenal volcano (amazing to think the land you're walking on has only existed for ~57 years!) and a trip to the hot springs. Our last day we visited the La Fortuna waterfall down almost 500 stairs. Amazing to swim in the water with the powerful falls just a few meters away. The last few days of our visit were spent near Rincon at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. Great accommodations with delicious food and drinks at the restaurants. But the best part was the outdoor adventure activities - horseback riding, tubing down rapids (one time isn't enough) and ziplining through the canopy. Each of these really exceeded expectations. KimKim made everything much easier and less stressful. Thank you for all your efforts to make this a fun and memorable vacation!

We planned a quick trip to Morocco and really wanted a memorable experience of Sahara. We approached KimKim and they planned our itinerary and executed it beyond perfection. During the trip we needed to make a change and the team actioned it within minutes. Absolutely LOVED our visit. Accommodations were carefully chosen, hospitality amazing, food delicious and we can never forget Soufine, our driver for the trip who took a great care of my family. Our drive from Marrakech to Merzouga was very comfortable. First stay at La Berbere Palace where we enjoyed a restful evening. We loved our stay at Riad Villa Amood in Sahara before heading to the camp site Riad Madu Luxury. The food at Amood was Spanish fusion and exceptional. The ATV buggy tours organized at Sahara Buggy was a lot of fun and Mohammed our guide took us through amazing dunes and views. We had fun at the camp with berbere music and warm food and dune treks. The people very very friendly. And eventually ending our drive to Fez. Soufine stopped at great locations, tea and coffee and food options.

I just finished a remarkable trip to Morocco during Christmas week. Hakim put together a solid itinerary, long in sightseeing and relatively short in shopping, as I had requested, and the result was a memorable and very special time.

My driver, Taha, was with me all week, and made me feel safe whether we were traversing rain, snow or sunshine. Additionally, he chose good, clean places for us to stop enroute.

Of special significance was the desert camp and camel ride on Christmas Eve. That sunset and the camp atmosphere, is something I will not soon forget.

I must also add that my flight into Morocco was delayed for about 11 hours, and during that whole time, the company hung with me and made sure I understood that they were there for me. Their actions were incredibly reassuring, and in the end, all worked out well.

I can recommend the services of Hak and the company without reservation.

The guided tour in Fes was good, though it leaned a bit more towards shopping than I was expecting. Despite this, walking through the medieval city was fascinating, and the guide managed to navigate through the often-crowded medina. It was a solid cultural experience overall.

Our 2025 trip was close to ten months in the planning. Working with Rajat Gupta was fantastic. Rajat was very responsive to our goals and objectives. This trip started with attending a family wedding in Lucknow and expanded to a 37-day adventure around the family function. My wife and I realized we were covering a lot of ground, but we wanted to get a sense of the places we might choose to revisit in the future for a longer period. The trip was customized for just the two of us and all our guides and drivers were wonderful. We felt very safe and in good hands every step of the way.

We especially want to thank our driver Rajinder, who carried us everywhere in the first half of the itinerary. He always had water for us and he was always there waiting for us at every site. We felt like rock stars finding Rajinder with the car door open ready to take us to the next location. We also want to thank Hemant, Rahul, Anu and Kumar for their insight and knowledge. We saw so much and feel fortunate to have experienced the wonders of the region. More UNESCO World Heritage sites than we could ever imagine. And we literally had a trip of trains, planes and automobiles.

The main sites like the Taj Mahal were of course great, but one of our favorite places visited was in Ranakpur. We stopped at the Kumbhalgarh Fort, built in 1443. It took 15 years to complete. This fortress is overwhelming with the second longest wall in the world. Our guide that day introduced us to custard apple fruit bought from a roadside vendor. He made sure it was safe and ripe and it was amazing. That day we also visited the Ranakpur Jain Temple with amazing carved marble throughout supported by 1444 unique pillars and a ton of peace, spirituality and tranquility. We also had one of our best meals at Harmony Restaurant on our way to the Jain Temple. And if you are so inclined, the owner of the restaurant guides nature adventure tours. We were also fortunate to attend the Pushkar Camel Festival. Here's where Rajat did wonders for us. Some friends highly recommended the festival. I chatted with Rajat and he adjusted our itinerary to make it happen.

Another favorite was Nepal. The grandeur of the Himalayas was breathtaking and we were able to see the Annapurna range on a clear morning at sunrise. We also enjoyed the scenic boat ride on Phewa Lake, one of Pokhara’s most iconic attractions. We made our way across the lake to start an 1100 foot hike to the top of the hill leading to the serene Buddhist stupa, perched on high overlooking the valley. Overall, we felt we got the best of everyplace we visited. After our family event, we headed south from Lucknow. Our houseboat experience in Kerala was fantastic and one night was perfect. Finishing off our trip in Mumbai was terrific and High Tea at the Taj Hotel is worth it.

We took three cooking classes on the trip. They were all different in their own way, but we learned a lot about the techniques of Indian and Nepalese cooking. As for the food in general on the trip, we never got tired of the local cuisine...both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We did have to convince some restaurants to prepare our meals "medium spicy." However some places still gave us mild. We enjoyed many of the curated retail stops, some benefitting local women and children...and other well established family businesses known for their quality.

For those planning to follow in our footsteps, we did learn a few things. The air quality in the big cities of India is pretty bad. My wife and I suffered from upper respiratory issues for the entire trip. Make sure you bring plenty of cold remedies on your journey and wear a mask often when air quality is bad.

Be prepared for flight changes when flying Indigo Airlines. In fact, I would not recommend Indigo. Make sure to check when sites are open. Some are closed on specific days. And ask your guides if you need walking sticks to help with some of the long walks.

Overall, this was an adventure to remember and we will choose KimKim for our future international travel.

We would not recommend this hotel for a variety of reasons. The bathroom flooded with two inches of water on the floor when using the shower. The water temperature fluctuated and at times was very hot. Our room was situated right next to the elevator on an upper floor. Members of the staff stood by outside our room carrying on conversations late into the night. The restaurant staff, while accommodating did not guide us effectively with the menu choices.

Luckily he did not and the doctor prescribed medications for him to take. Both our guide and driver helped us achieve all of this. As for the tour, Susan went on the tour while Jonathan stayed at the hotel. Because we had to go to the doctor, she missed the Box Lunch portion. But she took the train and found it interesting. She thought the laundry was very interesting. Her favorite thing on the tour was where Ghandi had stayed for a substantial part of his life. The Gateway of India was interesting and she also saw where the Taj Hotel was located so we could have High Tea at the Taj.

Great experience of Istanbul. Haghia Sophia was a bit dissapointing because of its disrepair. The palace was wonderful. Sadik was an excellent guide.

Between 2025 December 8th and December 13th, we visited Morocco. During the trip Planning process Majid was very helpful to create a route through the imperial cities of Morocco that fitted our schedule and preferences. The experience of the trip was fantastic. We created amazing memories about Morocco, we were fascinated by their vast culture, their gentle and welcoming people and their astonishing and beautiful cities. Everything runs perfectly. Ismael, our driver during the whole trip, treated us as an old good friend, he filled us up with engaging talks, recommendations about food, curios facts etc. We always felt secure and comfortable. The guides in the different cities were friendly, they looked to us highly prepared for their job, they made it with grace and engaged to communicate the main highlights of each city, building or Medina in order to create an unforgettable experience. The stay on the Riad helps us to make our travel experience closer to Moroccan Culture. We loved it. Finally, we’d like to thank Majid and his team and recommend them to plan your trip to Morocco. Last cue, the weather at this time of the year is fantastic.

We had such an amazing time in Florence and Rome thanks to all the planning that Guilia provided for us. I know that people plan trips themselves, but I am not one of those people. I do not have time or or the patience to book everything separately and thanks to Guilia, I did not have to. I loved having the itinerary right in the app with all the tickets and I love the experiences that she picked out and our private guides in Florence and Rome were so nice and knowledgeable. It was also very reassuring to be able to have someone to message in case there were any issues. For us there were only a few times where I wanted to just check in or ask about something and Guilia and Andrea got back to us right away. As someone with a demanding job and a busy family, I loved this trip because it was so full of activities and free time and recommendations and everything went so smoothly and I didn’t have to plan a thing myself.

Our first trip to Iceland was amazing. Poor Eric, our intrepid kimkim specialist, had to put up with a lot of back-and-forth from us. We travel a lot, so we had plenty of ideas on how we wanted the trip to go. But Eric knew exactly what he was doing and planned an excellent week for us. Every day had a great selection of self-guided tours, and we also added several guided tours (the glacier hike was a highlight). The weather was good for driving, as it mostly rained. We would have had a much harder time if it was snowing or icy. But even with the rain, with proper clothing, it didn't matter (if you ski, you know). Iceland is spectacularly beautiful. Sitting in our home in New York we weren't prepared for how much all the stunning natural beauty would negate the weather and the limited daylight. It honestly didn't matter once we got started on our trip, whether it was raining, freezing, or the wind was howling.

As mentioned, Eric was a great trip planner. He is super responsive and so patient (thank you, Eric!). The only reason I took a star from the overall planning and booking is that the itinerary on the kimkim platform is tricky. The default itin is an overall daily summary, but in order to access information like your car rental, tickets to paid activities, etc, you have to go to a detailed itinerary which all three of us, including our tech savvy 18 year old daughter, found very difficult to access. It is buried in a small tab on the platform's landing page. When we landed in Reykjavik at 6AM and couldn't find our car rental info after an hour, it was hard not to be a little grumpy. But the accommodations were good, especially ending in Reykjavik. Highly recommend taking advantage of the many lagoons after long days of hiking and driving.

Sky Lagoon

All the lagoons were amazing, and very different. Sky Lagoon is luxurious. The evening we went the wind was howling, the rain was coming down in sheets, and somehow, we still enjoyed the experience. It's a gorgeous setting, and after driving over 5 hours that day, it felt so good to emerge in a hot thermal bath, even with our heads getting beaten by rain.

Crystal Blue Ice Cave

Unfortunately, we found out that ice caves are dependent on the weather. When we went there was only one cave open, and about twenty tour groups waiting to have a turn inside. Once we finally had out turn, our group was allotted ten minutes. BUT, afterwards, we walked the black beach to see the ice flows for an hour and had one of our favorite outings the entire trip.
