Absolutely amazing honeymoon. Bernice was a joy to deal with, and we will definitely use kimkim for future trips.

This was my first time booking with Kimkim and I was nervous because I prefer to book every step of my vacation myself. Leaving my trust to the Kimkim team was a new experience that paid off. We had a good itinerary, nice accommodations, great guides (Sharif, Said, Hanan) and driver (Tarik) for our entire trip. This style of travel was definitely outside of my comfort zone but visiting Morocco would have been impossible to plan without Kimkim's vetted drivers and guides (Original Travels). For future travelers to Morocco specifically, I would suggest to budget $300 minimum in cash as there are lots of tips involved and unexpected, cash-only visits. Also, work closely with your Kimkim advisor to reduce number of cities to minimize drive time. The driving estimates were much longer than listed and, had I known in advance, I would have cut out some places to spend more time in cities instead of on the road. For me, traveling to Morocco was a once in a lifetime experience. I felt supported by the Kimkim team and they were responsive during our trip when we had problems or questions. I would recommend Kimkim for complex itinerary travel.

Wonderful! Perfect setting. Campfires were a lovely touch. Food was pretty good. Real plumbing was a nice luxury. Only thing noticeably missing was air conditioning in the tents. If you needed to stay inside during the day (due to illness, for example), it was pretty difficult due to the daytime heat.

Beautiful, well located riad. I loved the food, comfortable beds, pool, wifi. We did have a problem at check out where they asked us to pay for our pre-paid rooms. We needed to reach out to Kimkim to get it resolved before we could leave. It was incredibly awkward and delayed our early start for the day.

We arrived here after dark and it was clear this was a remote mountain hotel. The door to our room did not shut fully (and could not be locked) and we had no hot water. The views from the balcony were nice in the morning. The staff were nice but the dinner food in the restaurant was subpar and expensive. Because of too many issues, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Going into a stranger's home for a meal is very questionable endeavor anywhere in the world, but it was great here. Surprisingly enjoyable! The family was very nice, kind, welcoming. They made sure to keep us fed and entertained. It's clear that they host families often and I think we all had a good time.

Definitely not tranquil. Walking in was very chaotic with lots of loud talking and people milling around. The reception was frazzled and we did not feel welcomed. There seemed to be only 1 service available (scrub and massage) so there was no point in looking at the spa menu. The changing room was very small and hot-- not much privacy. There was 1 toilet in the building for probably 15 ppl there. It felt like an assembly line. By the time you get to relax, it's time to leave.

All of the people that helped us on our Greece trip were amazing. Special shout out to the driver from the Ferry to Chania (he also drove back to the airport in Chania). A lovely man, incredibly helpful driving tips, create conversation he crushed it. Also our guide on our first day in Athens to Acropolis (and food tour) was awesome. Food tour on last day was also incredible - guide was great and the other people on the tour were fun too.
The drive to Chora Sfakion was stunning as was the hike to Sweet Water. Bus taxi to Loutro and back to Sfakion was really fun.

All in all an amazing trip.

Santorini was a bit overrun with cruise ships which made walking in Fira a challenge. But that is the only "bummer".

Our guide - female from Olympia - was OUTSTANDING - her knowledge, her delivery - we LOVED her. Kills us that we didn't get her full name so we can recommend to any and all that go to Athens.

We had the most fabulous 60's birthday celebration trip to Greece in late Sept and it would not have been nearly as fun, relaxed, and well coordinated if Angela at Kim Kim had not helped us. She was so fantastic in making sure we comfortable with all that she chose for us, she was attentive during the trip, checking on us and problem solving along the way. There was not much to problem solve because she planned the trip with such care for us that almost nothing went wrong. I have already referred at least 3 people to her and will continue to do so. She was amazing.

As for the trip, we visited Athens and had an extremely knowledgable tour guide the took through the weaving streets of Athens filling us with history along the way. On to Milos for a lovely day long catamaran that took us to the most spectacular water! The accommodations at the Dome White Caste pools was so lovely and the food was amazing. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Next on to Naxos and the highlight of this island was its laid back feel, culinary delights and kind people. Our tour took us to a lovely homestead farm where we cooked a meal with a lovely couple. I was so amazing the hospitality these folks showed us. Just lovely. The only thing about the tour in Naxos was that we were to go to an Olive Oil factory and we were very much looking forward to it, but it did not happen.

Last spot Santorini. A truly beautiful island and the Oia Mansion was to die for accommodations. The only warning I would give folks is that even in late Sept/early Oct, it was very crowded. On one day, there were 5+ cruise ships and frankly walking down the street was impossible. Luckily we had a spectacular roof top to hide from the crowds!

All in all, a wonderful trip made possible and even more fantastic by Angela and her Kim Kim team. I will definitely be using them again and again for my travel needs.

The kids really enjoyed the Florence city tours, the Artisan Workshop tour was great, and the hotel was good. All the restaurants throughout the trip that we used KimKim recommendations for were great!

Our Montepulciano driver was amazing, as was the winery and truffle hunt. I would not recommend the Dimora nel Corso hotel.
The hotel was good in Rome.

We would definitely book through Kim Kim again. Lorenzo is awesome. Thank you.

Our trip to Scotland was a wonderful experience filled with beautiful scenery and many memories. Our specialist Kat at Kim Kim was a great resource and very helpful in the planning of our trip. The time difference between the USA and Europe did cause some issues with booking(s). However we planned and executed the trip in less than 3 weeks. From that aspect it was very helpful having someone book excursions and hotels.

Bhutan has been at the top of my Bucket List for a while now, and I can easily say the trip FAR exceeded my expectations! The planning was superb - Mieke, you were so communicative and allayed all my 'fears' regarding visas, flights, paperwork, etc. It couldn't have gone any smoother. From the moment we set foot in Bhutan, things were perfect. The hotels Uma Punakha, Uma Paro, and Druk Hotel were outstanding - comfortable, welcoming, everything I could ask for. The country is stunningly beautiful, the people are so nice and friendly, and the food was fantastic. Our guide and driver Yonten and Dorji were SUPER! - so accommodating and flexible. Even though I wasn't always able to do some of the visits (due to my age and some health issues with walking up hills), I saw more than enough - and enjoyed every moment! And the fact that we ended up staying an extra day says how much we enjoyed the country - and we appreciated all the extra legwork you had to do to make that happen at the last minute! I can't thank you enough!

We worked with Mar to book an amazing 10 day Norway journey that was virtually perfect - great itinerary, great properties, amazing assistance throughout our trip. We started in Oslo and headed west to Bergen with nights in Heilo, Odda, Eidfjord and Bergen before flying up to the Lofoten Islands with 2 nights in Svolver and 2 nights in Hamnoya/Reine — just amazing — and ending back in Oslo. We could not be more pleased with the recommendations, accommodations, guides and everyone else who jumped in to help. Fenne and Meree were always available if we needed assistance during our trip and even after hours. The properties we stayed at were also great - especially since we traveled in October offseason.

We will absolutely use KimKim and hopefully work with Mar, Fenne, and Meree on a future Norway trip.

We had a great trip to Northern Italy. The trip included 2 nights in Florence,Bologna,and Venice.
We traveled between these cities on rail. The transfers from train to our rooms were flawless.
The Tuscany day trip including wine tasting and meal, visit to Siena and San Gimignano were terrific and our tour guide Stephanie was remarkable and made the whole experience so memorable.
Our next stop in Bologna featured a whole day tour to Parma. Again, transfers were flawless and the tour to Parmigiano,Prosciutto, and Balsamic factories were informative and well hosted by very knowledgeable tour guide.
Last stop was Venice and featured a half day walking tour to many of the major sights but more interesting were the side trips thru the winding, narrow alleys of Venice . Our tour guide Rita was so knowledgeable and shared her own personal experiences of her hometown of Venice.

Lorena and Valentina were absolutely fantastic! They answered all my questions (from silly to logistics) quickly and helpfully. Lorena especially ensured my trip was unique to my interests and found fantastic guides and tours. She also built in rest days, which I appreciated. My KimKim experience felt very catered and the specialists were invested in me having a great time! I would highly recommend - especially for any solo female travelers.

We loved our Bolivian trip, it was perfect.
Chilean part was a bit disappointing, as we didn’t realize it’s gonna be every day a half day trip from the hotel. We sort of expected the same customized trip with a small group where we could ask to stop somewhere and spend almost all the time outdoors.
Our first trip in Chile was as boring as possible and on the trip to Puritama Canyon the guide didn’t even speak English.

The guide didn’t speak english. The tour was supposed to start at 2-2:40. We departed at 3pm and then on our way the car broke. So we had to drive back and change the car and the new one wasn’t a lot better. At the end we departed for Puritama Canyon an hour later so when we arrived to the pools there were the last shades of sun left. 15min later it was completely in shadow.

We were a party of two woman who wanted to celebrate our key milestone birthday with some adventure in the desert.
We were looking for certain things that were not on the suggested itineraries and Megan helped us pull together a bespoke plan that met our needs and was augmented with her experience and suggestions.
The result was exactly what we had hoped for. Our driver, Mohammed, was an absolute star making sure we were taken care of, checking in on us, ensuring each evening that we ran through the program and timings for the next day and acting as a guide as well. We certainly felt we benefitted from his local knowledge, especially in Merzouga which was his home town.
The accommodation and food were all great. All in all despite the long drives our trip was full of stops at interesting places and meeting interesting people and we felt we really got a feel for the culture and the people of Morocco. The highlights for us were certainly the hike in the desert, the walk in Toudra Gorges and Ait Ben Hadou.

Trek into the Dunes

This was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Said, collected us after breakfast from our overnight camp and we walked with him through the desert and back to our hotel. We had to learn how to walk up dunes - Said in his flip-flops and us in our hiking boots! We had a mixture of dunes and a bit of the road. Said showed us how to spot where water was found, milk plants, wells, the camel parking lot, and a desert spring that fed the town's central garden/crop area. Walking in the desert was just the best experience - cresting the dunes to look for the town in the distance only for it to disappear and feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. The walk was 3 hours long and just enough for us, ending up at the Riad for a swim and a shower was sublime.

Minh, Nguyen, and Vantuan were a great team from pre-planning to arrival and departure to and from Vietnam. I will never forget the cruise we took in Ha Long, the kayaking we did off the cruise, the bike rides in Hanoi, and the hotel staff's hospitality, and Minh being on top of the visa process for Vietnam. Truly an unforgettable experience!

The trip to Iceland was amazing! Guðmundur Oli, our local specialist was outstanding. He made the entire trip planning process very smooth and was extremely responsive at all times. The tailor-made trip itinerary couldn’t have been better. The trip plan included all the details that one needs for an enjoyable stress free trip. The choice of hotels, rental car etc was perfect. Guðmundur’s alacrity and vast knowledge of Iceland’s attractions was remarkable. Would definitely consider using Kim and Kim for our future vacations.

We had a phenomenal trip to Morocco. Louis designed a thorough itinerary for our ten days. Our driver, Youniss, was an excellent informal guide as well as driver. Perhaps the highlight of the trip was spending the day in Fez with Zara, our guide. Her enthusiasm and pride in her city, as well as her friendship with so many in the souk, made for a memorable trip. Even the long drive out to the desert was relaxing, with stops along the way. Highly recommend for any first-time or experienced Morocco visitor.

Kimkim is a great resource.

Maria and team did an excellent job of organizing a variety of fun and unique activities across Norway, including experiences on land, sea and air. The highlight of our trip was the time we spent in the Lofoten Islands, one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen.

All the logistics were expertly organized and went without a hitch. When we asked to switch hotels in Bergen, it was swiftly adjusted.

A few of activities were too touristy/not good enough quality or too tightly scheduled for our taste, but that is bound to happen when you're traveling with a pre-set itinerary.

Overall, we were very pleased with all aspects of our trip and would definitely use kimkim again. We want to especially thank Fenne for her support day to day.

What a Fantastic service kimkim provided for our group of 4 ladies when we travelled to Spain at the end of September 2023. If you want a stress-free experience, give these people a call. We were picked up from the airport and delivered to our hotels in a limousine and treated like royalty. The hotels were all amazing and we had delicious breakfast/brunches at all of them.
kim kim did a beautiful job of preparing an itinerary based on what we told them we would like to do. Any changes we wanted were quickly dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. It felt like we were being taken care of at all times, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy ourselves.
We told many other tourists we met along the way about kimkim and they were so impressed and a little envious of the wonderful experience we were having as compared to their own.
I would never consider any other travel agency after having had such a positive and fun experience.

The first room seemed a little small but we moved into a bigger room a couple days later and it was lovely. The staff were helpful. What I liked about Hotel Astoria was it's location and outside restaurants everywhere. I would stay there again.

Hotel Silken was a beautiful place to stay. Their continental breakfast was second to none! The rooms were lovely and clean. The only thing that might have been lowered the rating was that you were away from the downtown area so would need to take a taxi or catch a bus. Overall, a lovely stay!

If you want to go back in time with history all around you and in the hub of Madrid, this is the hotel. Staff were wonderful, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the cook was so passionate about her job. The rooms were very clean and cozy.

Park Güell & La Sagrada Família Experience

What an experience and our Guide was amazing. Park Guell & La Sagrada Familia was breath taking. I would go back again to see the work of Antoni Gaudi. The church was amazing and it is not finished yet. I have no words to explain the beauty and architecture in both place. It is a Must See!

Prado Museum & Cultural Walk with Lunch at Botín

This is a must when you are in Madrid. Our guide was fabulous and we learned so much from her. The museum was beautiful and then we walked to a pub to have Vermouth, which was a very neat experience. We then walked to have lunch at Botin. You Cannot miss this. The oldest restaurant in the world!! The food and service was amazing. The wine cellar was so very interesting to see as well. Do Not miss this experience.

If you like great food and learning about the Spanish culture and cuisine, this is what you need to sign up for. Our chef and guide was wonderful and so knowledgable. We started going to the market which was a treat in itself. I could have stayed there just looking around for the morning. The cooking class itself was awesome. There were 12 of us and we each help prepare the tasty dishes. Do Not Miss Out On This Opportunity. It was the Best!

We went to three wineries and the hosts were wonderful. It was very interesting as was the shuttle that took us out into the countryside. Each winery provided us with food to eat as we tasted their wine. It was just long enough and a pleasant time was had by all.
