Beautiful and perfectly located with a great staff

VERY cool hotel given that it's inside the old fort. The room was a GREAT size and loved that it had a king size bed and bathroom with PLENTY of room for the both of us. We did have an issue where we were unable to use the air conditioning, we talked with the hotel staff and they basically told us there was nothing they could do (if one room on the floor has the heat on, no one else can turn the air conditioning on....). The breakfast was the worst of the three hotels we stayed in, but the views from the breakfast room were incredible. We did like that we had access to the spa/steam room! Location was excellent, easy walk around Cascais!

Location of this hotel was excellent! However, the rooms were SO small. I can't compare it to other hotels in Porto but we barely had any space for us and our luggage. The bed was very small and the air conditioning didn't work very well. Luckily, we weren't in the room often but it was definitely the smallest room of the hotels we stayed in. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Best hotel we stayed at by far! the staff was SO friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond every day to ensure we knew where we were going, gave us recommendations, etc. Breakfast was also excellent!

we likely wouldn't do this as a private tour again but enjoyed the scenery!

The combination of culture and food was great on this tour! We really loved the final stop at the wine shop!

The bike tour was a nice change to all the walking you do around Lisbon! However, I'm not sure it was the best option to see Belem. After all our other tours in Lisbon, this one seemed more about the activity than spending time in Belem.

Fado is definitely a unique experience! the restaurant was so unique and the food was tasty!

Rui was the BEST driver we could have had. We ended up having him for nearly all of our transportation, which was excellent because we were able to get comfortable with one another and he was able to understand and accommodate our preferences. Rui is so friendly and did an excellent and thorough job ensuring that we knew where to go, how to find him, etc. He made a reservation for us for lunch at a wonderful restaurant on our drive back and was clearly very knowledgeable about the area.

Ricardo was an EXCELLENT guide. We appreciated his local take and approach to the tour, he made it very customized for us based on the food tour we had done the day before. We really got a sense of how the history of the city has shaped how it is today.

Francisco was an excellent guide! we loved that the tour revolved around family owned local restaurants and really gave us a sense of the culture/traditional foods! Everything we had was excellent.

The hotel in Porto had a more edgy feel, which matched the city's vibe. The accommodations were great, and like the Lisbon hotel, breakfast was included and fabulous. I would also recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel in Lisbon had a traditional feel and was a little way away from the main touristy areas, which I appreciated. The rooms were lovely, and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was included and was extensive, varied, and delicious. I would recommend this hotel to other people. It was a little further away from the downtown but we appreciated that since it was a bit quieter.

We loved this driver in particular. He was so fun and personable. He showed us a wonderful restaurant and he joined us and we got to hear all of his stories!

We loved the boat tour, again the guides were very knowledgeable and provided me and my husband with new insights.

We loved the wine visit in Porto. It was interesting to see the changes in the city since my last visit four years ago. The tour itself was informative and enjoyable, and we appreciated having such knowledgeable guides throughout our trip.

Our driver was wonderful, very personable, and even stopped at a couple of places to show us some other spots when we had time.

I haven't been to Portugal in 4 years and it was so fun having a guide in Porto to show us around and remind me of all the wonderful things Porto has to offer.

The private drivers were fabulous on this trip and more like guides than just drivers. They were all very proud of their country and took the time to show us extra places that weren't on our original itinerary. One of the drivers, Paulo, even found an alternative palace to visit when the one we planned to see was closed. The drivers also found great local places to eat, making the experience even more personal and enjoyable.

Our guide Ricardo was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Even though I had been to Lisbon before, I learned many new things during the tour, which made it fun for me and my husband enjoyed it as well.

It is a beautiful hotel in the middle of Cartagena's walled city. The breakfast and the accommodations are very nice. My complaint is that it was very loud for sleeping. There is a disco next door. Our shower had a shaft to the roof that was shared with the floors above so you could hear quite a lot from the other rooms. And, there was some sort of cleaning with a very loud motor going on at 530am. It was exhausting!

This resort is breathtaking! We didn't like our bungalow that they first offered so they transferred us, with no additional charge, to the private island and their new bungalows. We had our own pool and the rooms were gorgeous! Everything was of the highest finishing touch! The staff was so kind and helpful and there seemed to be nothing that they would not accommodate. They even offered a helicopter transfer to Cartagena for no extra cost because there was not a return passenger booked. I can definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who loves the beach and loves luxury!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are great and very kind. The food at the restaurant is delicious! My only complaint was that our room had a strong odor of mold and the mildew caused me to have an allergic reaction.

Overall this hotel was good in terms of the room size and also the size of the bathroom. The area of its location did not appear to be the best. The hotel door was locked at all times and only one person sat at the reception. Did not get time to taste their breakfast as we had an early morning flight. Staff was friendly. Someone was playing loud music all night. Perhaps passing cars that came and stood in front of the hotel. Not sure.

Fantastic central location! Walkable to the main city center and other places. Beautifully built in the iconic Greek housing style. Bathrooms were however very small. The owner of the hotel came to the breakfast room to greet folks...how wonderful is that! She is an amazing lady who has been in the restaurant for 40 years we were told. She was so kind and welcoming. The staff was also very friendly. The outdoors near the swimming pool was beautifully decorated and one could see the rising sun in the mornings. great place for the hotel to consider offering yoga classes!

Loved its location--right near the water and main square! This was an older hotel so the rooms were larger and also the bathrooms were larger. The decor had an old world charm.

Located in central Athens this hotel was a charming, small hotel on one of the main streets of Athens and was in the midst of lovely outdoor restaurants, high end shopping, as well as local shops with trinkets. It was also very close to the Acropolis. The breakfast was hearty. The staff was polite. The bathrooms were a bit tight but then the stay was only for a few days. The only recommendation I would provide is to have the twin beds in each room separated.

George, who was our guide in Nafplio, was an amazing guide who prepared a list of items and places for us to visit in Santorini. We shared that list with our guide in Santorini, Hercules who then created a wonderful day of sightseeing for us. He took us first to a monastery on top of a hill that many people don't know about. The views of Santorini from there are spectacular! We also went to Emporio, a small village with amazing architecture just like one sees in pictures! After that he took us to a winery from where the views of the other side of the island were fabulous! We also visited the excavation site in Akrotiri rounding off the tour at the Art Space and Wine Museum where we got to taste local Santorini wines, and admire the work of Greek artists in their gallery. Overall, we had a great experience with Hercules and the van driver, Thomas, and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Santorini.

We had an excellent experience with Giannis our guide in Nafplio. He picked us from Athens and drove us to Nafplio. His van had snacks and water and he was a great conversationalist! Our specialist Eleni suggested Nafplio and we are so glad we went. Giannis was an amazing guide, showing us many monuments and interesting places, such as the place where the Mythical Hydra visited and the Corinth canal on the way to Nafplio. We would have never known about these places if it wasn't for him. We also had a wine tasting with lunch at Nemean wines. The lunch was supposed to be light, but it was a big beautiful delicious spread! This was our favorite meal of the trip. Highly recommend this town, even though it is less known.

The sunset sailing tour in Oia on the luxury catamaran was a highlight of our trip. The cruise was very nice, and the members on board were kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the views of the beautiful architecture of Santorini with the white-washed buildings and swimming pools on balconies as well as the blue domes of churches from the water. We also watched the breathtaking sunset from the Catamaran. We even came back to the same place-- Oia, the next day because we loved it so much. We highly recommend this spot if you are looking for photos.

We appreciated the list of recommendations for all the places we visited from our driver cum guide-Giannis-- on the way to Nafplio including a visit to the famous ancient theater site, Epidaurus, where we learned about the history and connection of healing between art and performance. It was an amazing experience, and we were grateful that the car took us right up to the top so we didn't have to walk. The local guide there was George and he was amazing in his explanations about the site!

We very much appreciated the free afternoons we had. It was more than a sufficient amount of time to explore the city on our own. Our hotel was in a wonderful location, so it was easy to walk to different restaurants and go shopping.

Our tour guide Eva was very knowledgeable about the Acropolis and its history. She made the tour very interesting and engaging. We appreciated the elevator that allowed us to go up so we did not have to walk all the way up. Overall, a great experience.

It is a remodeled vila. Very modern accommodations, very clean. Beautiful view of Kotor from your rooms. The Teo receptionist were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were very helpful with recommendations about the town and restaurants.

The service in this hotel was amazing. To start they carried your luggage from the pier to the hotel (a lot of stairs), second they upgraded our room without us asking. Just because it was available. They open the kitchen earlier with full breakfast the day we were leaving just for us. Everyone from the front desk person to the cook were extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again there.

This hotel is like living in an Italian villa. Very classic with beautiful paintings and sculptures in your common living area and rooms. It is an architectural beauty. Hey good service and very clean. Very close to all the attractions and tat the same time not noisy at night. The apartment use to be part of the soldier barracks in the time of the Emperor Diocletian. But remodeled recently with an exquisite taste. Highly recommended!!

Excellent tour guide very knowledgeable in history and the Game of Thrones filming areas in the city. She went 1 hour beyond the schedule. We appreciate it a lot. She is very enthusiastic and engaging.

Good but we already knew about half the details

The hotel was not very clean and the showers did not work very well.

We were most excited about it. Supposedly, we had moderate chance of seeing northern lights but we couldn't due to lingering clouds. Pick up was little late but guide was very informative. He did try to going to few locations to try to spot but didn't work out. They provide hot chocolate and cookie which was good. They did offer a free tour at later time but since it was our last day we couldnt really use it.

Golden circle tour was ok. The guide was little hard to comprehend and so tough to understand the information. Weather was not very cooperative either. Drive was comfortable. Falls were great. Geysers were nothing spectacular. We were eager to see the tectonic plates but again was hard to appreciate it completely without the guide info. Horse riding at Eldehaus farm was awesome. They provided all the right gear and ride itself was quite nice. My 9 year old enjoyed as well. The lunch was simple but good.

Had fantastic day with visit to multiple falls, glacier lagoon, diamond beach, black sand beach, church etc. Guide planned it well to make best use of the warm sunny day. We had ample time in each place to see and not feel rushed. Group was very friendly as well.

Troll expeditions was on time and Yohan was very friendly. Shared lots of tidbits about the country and place which was very interesting. The bus had wifi so was perfect. He made sure we had timely bathroom breaks, lunch and dinner. We were glad to find vegetarian options at every stop. Weather on day 1 wasnt great with rain and wind. So we went directly for glacier hiking with some stops based on weather. Glacier hiking and ice cave tour was great. Need to have good shoes, jacket, gloves, snow pants. Inspite of that we got wet and cold. Wish they would provide appropriate gear so its more pleasant experience. All our gear and shoes were completely wet and had to use hair dryer and paper to dry so we could use it next day. The guest house was basic but good food.

The blue lagoon was an awesome experience. The water was so warm and refreshing. Its very comfortable in the water but can get super cold when out. Come handy with wet bags and swimsuit and change of clothes Lava restaurant was quite good. Definitely recommend going here if its your first time.

We stayed here for 5 days herein Paris. It was conveniently located and was easily accessible to metro and the bus stops. Walkable to Montmarte area. Had so many good cafes and restaurants near. The suite was perfect for our family of four. They had an amazing breakfast included too and a 24 hour coffee and hot chocolate machine. We loved our stay in this cute little parisian hotel.

We loved staying in the suite of Palm hotel Nice. We arrived late and we forgot to call them and update them, thinking they would have a 24 hour reception like we had in Paris. But when we arrived at 9pm, everything was locked. We called the hotel and the Nicola led us in via code and the receptionist was kind enough to leave keys for us , even without a proper check-in. Seeing we had kids traveling with us. The hotel was really in the prime location with everything walkable- cafes, restaurants, the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and we definitely will be coming back!!

This was an amazing culinary experience. The Nissean style of cooking. Which includes a lot of olive oil and veggies and meat with less cheese and butter unlike the Parisian culinary experience we had. We had a market visit and Rosa walked us through how she chooses her produces. She told us how the Italiian Mediterranean influence of Nice has made their culinary a different from.the Northern style of France. The menu was delicious. We had so much of fun experience with Rosa. Thanks to Kimkim for planning this for us .

What a trip this was. To see the richness and granduer of Monte Carlo( Monaco) the monarchy, the churches. Just loved it. Thanks to Alex our driver and guide for walking us through the history and life around Monte Carlo. Fraganord perfumery tour at Eze was awesome too. Kids had a blast there knowing how the perfumes around the world are made from here. Loved this beautiful trip :)

We loved this whole day trip. It was such a beautiful drive along the French Riviera. Our driver and guide Xavier was really really awesome. He told us so many things about Nice and how was it to live around there. We loved the perfume factory tour and The Antibes medieval village. The drive was amazing. We absolutely loved it!!

It was a beautiful one hour tour. Just make sure to be there like 15 - 30 minutes before the trip. They are very much strict on time. We missed it by two minutes on our first day because of lack of sleep. They didn't wait for us. But thanks to Amandine and kimkim they got it rescheduled for us :)

Just magical to see the city of love lit in the dark hours. Eiffle tower was so majestic . This is a must go ..to see Paris in the night felt so beautiful. J'adore Pareee.....

Louvre experience was Outstanding and it was just because of our private guide Alexandra!! She just made our trip so fun, especially keeping the kids entertained as well as informative. It's a huge museum and it can be tiring for kids and adults. To be honest there's a lot of brain power that takes off in consuming all these majestic artworks. Alexandra picked out just the major and important attractions for us and had rhe kids solve a puzzle along the tour. We were blown away by the amount of knowledge she has and her passion to talk endlessly about the history and art of Louvre.

This was an audio guided tour. We were bown away by the art that we witnessed through our eyes. We enjoyed every bit of it.

It was a wonderful experience. Elle our tour guide walked us through outside of Notre Dame ( Notre Dame isn't yet open after the fire that happened in 2019 it is still under construction) but there's a virtual reality of how it will be just in front of it. Saint Chapelle was amazing . The interiors and the art work of the chappele. Just mind blown with the feel of it. Our tour guide took us around the Latin quarter and to floral markets around. It was a beautiful walk for two hours.

Our tour guide Alexandra ( Family focus tour company) she was the best. She made this four hour tour so much enjoyable for kids. I mean if it was without a private tour we would have just got lost or kids would have got bored for sure. But Alexandra made sure from the garden tour to inside the palace she kept telling these stories in such a simplified way , that we all got so information about king Louis 14th to the French revolution, the interiors of the palace. I mean hands down Alexandra , she made sure the kids had a good time knowing about the palace.

This was the highlight of pur Paris trip. We LOVED biking around Paris , just like the Parisiens do it. Our guide Tibou from Bluefox travel was the best we could ask for. He talked so much about the cities history and made it exciting for kids with asking them to spot things around while we stopped, talked about french history and made a photo stop on the iconoc points in Paris. He always watched for kids safety while we biked around. Can't thank enough. Thank you Tibou for making our biking ride so special for us.

We visited a traditional French Bakery - Le grenier a pain. Meeting their owner, going into the bakery behind scenes- meeting the baker, patisserie chef and watching them making these baguette , bread and croissants. Cheese pudding etc. It was such a great experience knowing how much time and effort and the details they need to watch for. We got to try freshly baked bread and baguettes too. Our guide was really awesome too.

We missed going inside due to the strike that happened. But Eiffel tower from outside was beautiful:)

Chef Miriyam was such a joy to be around. The excitement she shared while talking about the farmed produces in France to the cheese to introducing to us the French culinary ( parisian style of cooking) was such an amazing experience. Our kids enjoyed how she explained everything. We loved her class and the hosting services she did. We loved Miriyam and miss her " AllieAllie" .
