Thanks to Nikos, my family and I had a fantastic trip to Greece. We did, saw, and learned so much in our short time in Greece that we never would have been able to do without his guidance. By finding hotels with the best breakfasts, recommending excellent restaurants, and suggesting unique excursions he made sure we had the best experience possible. Nikos was very responsive throughout the entire planning phase as well as throughout the trip to ensure everything was in accordance with our expectations and ran smoothly. While we were in Santorini, we encountered a conflict with our boat cruise. Nikos immediately made phone calls and proposed an alternative plan that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. He is very passionate about providing the best service possible.

When we decided to visit Norway, we searched the web for a travel agency knowledgeable about Norway. KimKim had the best reviews, so KimKim it was. Christina, a Norwegian, was our travel planner, and, from the start she was knowledgeable, extremely responsive, dependabke, cheerful, offered great suggestions, and just delightful to work with. While we were there, a big storm hit Norway (the worst since 1938!), and caused our travel itinerary to be interrupted for 5 days. Trains and buses weren't moving. We were stuck. We reached out to Christina for help, and did she ever! We felt supported and sincerely cared for. We never felt alone or stranded, not once! She even got her boss involved to wire us cash because we were getting desperatly low (our bankcard had been stolen).
Christina, and KimKim, are truly exceptional! We cannot say enough positives to express our satisfaction and appreciation for the tremendous travel expert and travel company that both Christina and KimKim are!

WOW!! Absolutely first rate inside and out. This former farmhouse and large barn were artfully and cleverly renovated (you've got to stay here just to experience his unique wine cellar!). It's amazing what the owner/manager Anders has done to make this the most beautiful stay for us while in Norway. Situated along Norway's longest fjord, the buildings and their location are stunning!

The staff were THE BEST we've ever experienced. When we had our credit cards and passports stolen our first day, they went out of their way to help us....allowed us to use their cell phone for hours, and gave us a complimentary glass of wine and dinner! Isabel was especially amazing. She went above and beyond to have us feel supported and cared. She's a magnificent young woman. The hotel is very fortunate to have her as an employee.

I googled a package trip for Italy and Greece and kimkim came up as a company that could help me. I reached out to kimkim and the company gave me a tour organizer named Tasos. We met on a zoom face to face and discussed what I wanted out of our trip to Europe. We visited Rome, Pompeii, Florence, and Venice in Italy. In Greece we spent time in Santorini, Myknos, and Athens. The hotels were in the center of each city and were walkable distances to places we wanted to visit. We had train rides, flights, and a ferry ride to move from city to city. We had two moments where we needed extra help with reservations that were questionable. Evyenia and Nikos responded immediately when we had questions about a reservation and the problem was fixed right away. We had a marvelous trip!! kimkim is a great company to work with to plan a vacation. I would recommend them to anyone.

Lisbet did an amazing job planning our trip. We took our toddler and parents. She booked activities that had a little something for everyone and we all had a blast! The hotels were great and so were her lunch recommendations. We really loved the amphibian tour seeing the icebergs up close, the waterfalls, hiking, and seal spotting. We could have not asked for a better trip.

This is a “nothing fancy” hotel. You have your room a small TV area and a plus is an outside jacuzzi. The scenery around you is beautiful and there is not much around in regards to restaurants etc. The breakfast served in the am is great and hits the spot. First time planning a trip with Kim Kim and it was above all my expectations, very easy and friendly service that eased all my trip planning worries. Fabio was great from the start and very responsive during our trip for any questions. From the start with the airport pickup to the airport dropoff our trip went off without any issues. The three days in Rome were the perfect amount of time to see all the sites and Fabio booked us great skip the line tours.
Our Sorrento portion of the trip was great! I appreciate Fabio for suggesting Sorrento over Positano for our trip it was the perfect size town for us to stay in and explore in the middle of everything we wanted to see, between Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius, winery tour, and a trip down the Amalfi Coast. All while having a fantastic car service booked for each excursion booked and private tour guides to really explain to us the history.
Two downsides were our hotel in Sorrento Hotel del Corso was not really up to our standards a bit dated, the AC didn't work and the hotel staff wasn't very helpful and our room was on the main street which was very noisy.
The second downside was our Cooking class at Villa Ida was not up to our expectations it wasn't really a cooking class more so we helped them prep the food while they did the cooking behind the scenes. We were expecting to make either homemade pizza or pasta but instead we made cold salads and filled already cooked pastas. Also Charlie at the cooking class was very pushy for us to buy his wine, ceramics, and music boxes and when we declined buying anything the vibe in the room changed. It left a bad taste in our mouth.
Overall the trip was fantastic and I will definitely be recommending Fabio and Kim Kim to anyone planning a trip to Italy and will also be using them in the future.

This hotel is extremely dated, other then the location I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are extremely dated with uncomfortable old beds, our AC did not work and when we let the staff know they told us it was our fault for having it on to high. Our room was facing the main street and was extremely noisy so between the AC not working and the noise levels we didn't sleep very well. The bathroom amenities are minimal with cheap towels, and the breakfast left much to desire. We only ended up having breakfast one day out of the five.

Villa Ida cooking class was not up to our expectations, we were disappointed that there was not much cooking done on our side instead we actually prepped cold salads, filled already cooked pasta, and put together the layers of eggplant parmigiana. We were hoping that we would learn how to make either homemade pasta or pizza and sauce. The class was just extremely elementary level. In addition Charlie gives you a tour of his "wine cellar" where they make you watch a video on his homemade wine making process and history of the family. The whole time it is a pitch for you to buy his wine. While we were eating our dinner he constantly came our to walk more about the wine and let us know we can ship it to the US. At the end of the dinner they have us go back inside and see his ceramics, and music boxes he makes again trying to sell them to us. We sit down and he hands us a form and goes so how many bottle do you want to buy. When we informed him we wouldn't be buying any bottles he was clearly upset and shutdown ruining the vibe of the evening. We did not appreciate how pushy he was on selling his products. We were expecting a cooking class, not a wine tour and salesman pitch for 3 hours.

Loved all three aspects of this tour. Only negative is that doing all three activities in the August heat was very exhausting. We especially loved the Cantina winery tour and lunch, such a beautiful winery and unique experience that we got to check off our bucket list. The private tour of Pompeii was great, our tour guide was engaging and made the tour interesting and fun while learning aspects of Pompeii I never heard of before. Toninio our car driver was fantastic the whole day had the car cool and ready for us at all times.

The service was generally excellent, v prompt and efficient.

Anna-Maria and Vesna were both v accessible and attentive.

The highlight of the trip was the river rapids in Split which was truly magical.

We also did sightseeing in Split with Tina who was lovely and the full-day cave experience in Hvar which was great fun.

Vickie was incredibly responsive and planned our short trip in record time. She was patient with me as it took me time to review and consider and then commit to the trip. I loved the tours she set up for us in Cairns and Birsbane; they were remarkable! It would have been helpful to know what we needed to bring on the tours, such as a towel for the Great Barrier Reef, and it would have been good to know that some activities/opportunities sell out in advance, such as photos of us holding a koala.

The drivers who picked us up were prompt, kind and excellent drivers.

I wasn't thrilled with one of the hotel selections, but a family with young kids would have loved it more than me and a teenager who were there just to sleep.

The travel service, specifically Louise, was wonderful when we had to make last minute changes to our itinerary. She was terrific and efficient!

I would use Vickie, Louise and Kimkim again!

Silvia is very responsible to follow through and monitoring my trips to ensure that I am well taken care of, although initial planning required some adjustments. Silvia recommends the best part of Southern Sweden to me. The trip route met my requirements for hiking and national park tours . The hotels were chosen at the best central locations of the town for food and sightseeings by walking and its luxury . I was given a suite most of the stays. Both guides we had in Thurso (Don and Angela from the company Above and Beyond) were terrific. We felt so at home at the Manor House with hosts Leo and Mary Ellen. They are so welcoming. I loved Thurso!
Also our guide for Glasgow: Andrew. He was so knowledgeable and had gone out of his way to find a historian of the church we were seeking.
The Skye in a Day Tour was excellent. The driver/guide, Bill, was a great storyteller and had a wonderful calming voice.
The private tour of the Culloden battlefield was very interesting.
The driver from Mailig to the ferry to Tobermory was outstanding. So kind, so knowledgeable, so proud of his area.
So much more--wonderful people, the scenery was gorgeous.

A cruise ship was in and the whole town seemed overwhelmed by the number of people crowding the streets and restaurants and other shops. Such a delightful experience. I loved the coffee/tea/wine room that we often met in to discuss our day and plan the next. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The rooms are smaller but bathroom was great. We had delicious breakfasts. But we overwhelmed by the cupcakes/cookies/ice cream available! What a SWEET place. The location was fabulous.

Bespoke tour of Glasgow

Andrew was so nice and so ready for us. He went out of his way to find a person for us to talk to about the church our grandmother came from. He worked hard to find our grandmother's street. And his recommendation that we go to the People's Palace to see the housing exhibit about the 19th century was perfect. We also enjoyed seeing the University of Glasgow. He made the day very convenient in our walking certain parts and having his car at other parts. Andy is charming and fun to be with.

We had a wonderful trip traveling to Iceland in August. Highlights included whale watching in Akureyri up north, the Lake Myvatn area (aptly named "Lake of Midges", you may want a bug net for this time of year), and the geothermal baths in Vok.
Our local specialist, Èric, planned our itinerary beautifully. We didn't realize we planned our trip for one of the busiest times of year to come to Iceland, but he was able to shift our itinerary around and find excellent hotels so we were able to get a sample of everything the country has to offer. Planning with kimkim was such a great decision, we were able to leave the itinerary planning to the experts and had a wealth of information for what to do each day as we drove from place to place. The perfect balance of having the days planned, while still having time to wander and explore between destinations.

Francesca planned a fantastic honeymoon for us in Argentina! She was also very helpful when booking domestic flights.
We traveled to Buenos Aries and stayed at a Krista boutique hotel. We explored the city with a private tour guide (Jessica) who was amazing and very knowledgeable about the history of Buenos Aries. While we were there we also saw an excellent Tango show.
From there we traveled to Bariloche and stayed at an older hotel Tirol with perfect views, great walking distance to downtown, and a great breakfast! We skied at Cerro Cathedral, which was very crowded and I would recommend getting the priority lift pass to not spend a lot of time in line. Our guide Nestor was great! He was very accommodating and easygoing!
Our next stop was Wine County, Our hotel Casa de Uco was fantastic and we wish we got to spend more time there. Our guide for the wine tours Tessa was great and very helpful when sending wine home.

ALL of our drivers/ guides from Signature Tour were amazing and we would not have gotten around Argentina without them!

We would use Kim Kim and Francesca again!

Hien was simply exceptional! Her planning and communication before and during our one-week trip to Vietnam far exceeded expectations. Every single movement in the trip, which included three hotels in three different cities, flying in and out from different airports, trains, vans, and boat trips, was executed seamlessly. We were thrilled with the trip that was planned and supported by our Kim Kim guide, Bas. Based on our very specific interests, and the way we like to travel, Bas planned a perfect itinerary. The plan included a nice balance of self-led activities and guide-led activities. It included guided walking tours, boat tours, and cycling tours as well as a self-led cycling activity. We had some input on the Bas' initial plan, and he was happy to make accommodations to fit our requests. Bas was also available to make some changes during the trip. For example, when a cancelled flight at the outset of the trip forced us to change some of our planned activities, he moved things around to make it work. We were able to get hard-to-secure tickets to the Anne Frank museum, and we had the pleasure of having tremendous, friendly, and fun guides for four of the activities. We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first full Kim Kim itinerary, but we couldn't have been happier with the trip.

Our trip to Turkey was fabulous. Berat did a wonderful job of ensuring all the details were taken care of prior to our arrival and set us up for a great time. Our guides Ibrahim and Hatice were excellent and made sure we had a great experience. They were very knowledgeable about the history and used their wealth of experience to help us navigate all of the amazing attractions to avoid any unnecessary stress. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a deep cultural experience in Turkey.

Angel worked with me to build out options for a trip itinerary and patiently helped me refine it. Many of her suggestions were great and things I would not have thought of, while also keeping us flexible to do what we wanted with much more autonomy than if we were part of a group tour. When we had to delay our arrival by a day because of weather, she helped us get a refund from the booked hotel for the first night.

What an incredible trip! Tackling a huge country like Brazil in just two weeks was a daunting task, but Chadya made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Her itinerary was wonderful; we visited Rio, Foz de Iguacu, the Amazon, and Jericoacoara, and all were amazing experiences. The hotels (Copacabana Palace, Hotel das Cataratas, Villa Amazonia, Juma Amazon Lodge, and Huricane Jeri) were uniformly top notch. Our excursions were interesting and informative, with private guides able to help cater to exactly our whims (cheers to Vincente for his patience while we bought havaianas!). My traveling companion is staying in Brazil for a few weeks, and he's looking forward to hanging out with another guide, Pedro, to surf.

One of the best things about a service like kimkim is that all the little details are taken care of. It was so nice to know that someone else was checking us into our flights, and a car would be waiting to take us to the airport and pick us up. Chadya and her team were also available to answer questions or resolve any minor hiccups, which was a relief in a country where we didn't speak the language.

Overall, this was our second time using kimkim, and this time did not disappoint. We look forward to using kimkim again in the future!!

The Secret Lagoon

Wonderful experience. I was expecting all of the lagoons and "spas" to be a much quieter experience, but they are more of a tourist attraction and family pool. I would definitely go back though! I loved floating around and apprecia!ted the use of the "noodles" for floating. Locker rooms and showers are clean and well maintained.

Horse Riding Tour

A lovely farm and wonderful horses! Our guide (Seeno? spelling) was from Denmark and was wonderful. We had a semi-private ride over to the waterfall. The horses were amazing and so well behaved and friendly. We stopped for photos and loved the views! A wonderful and relaxing 2- hour ride. Even for an experienced rider, I would recommend this trip as the scenery was amazing and I had never experienced the "Tolt" gait. It felt like such a priviledge to ride these beautiful animals.
