Jane was terrific in planning our England and Scotland adventure. Everything this planned ran so smoothly and we really appreciated that. She selected great hotels and we enjoyed the day tours to various places. Working with Jane was so easy. She was very responsive to my questions and suggestions and so patient when I debated taking the trip to begin with. Thank you for finding the great e-bike trip through the Highlands. We adored Kevin and it was a highlight of the trip. Jane also worked with us when we wanted to make some changes at the end to our London days. But the kitchen staff (people that cleaned up and made sure the breakfast was nice) were terrific!

So this was tough. These places were extremely crowded and waiting in line burned through the tour time so it felt rushed. We had to wait over an hour to enter Windsor even with the timed entry. Stonehenge was better. But Bath was so rushed. We had to wait a bit but we only had an hour total. So when we drove to town and the driver told us about all of the wonderful places to get pizza or a pastry in the town, that was impossible. By the time we got out of the baths, we had to rush, grab something to eat in the street and get on the bus.

This tour was a good way to start but realized that we are not castle people and we should have watched Outlander.

Kimkim's communication platform is very user friendly, made it very easy to plan with the our own group. Nigma responded to our inquiries within few hours - very quick.
Our guide Dafuri and our Sherpa were so sweet, I felt very safe with them.
The only regret I have is that we ended up going in Rainy-Mansoon season and could not complete the track. Furthermore, when we were driving Pokhara to Katmandu, there was a landslide, causing lots of traffic - possibility of more landslides scared me. 5-7 hours drive turned into 11 hours.
I just wish we were advised not to travel during this season - our trek was scheduled 8/5 - 8/11.

Our trip to Colombia, which included Medellin, Popayan, San Austin, and Bogota, was great! We had never used a tour company before and were very happy with our experience! David, the contact with Chaska tours, the local company, helped up plan a trip that we wanted that included urban experiences, countryside experiences, and exposure to the culture and people of Colombia. We also had an opportunity to practice our Spanish, as we requested, with guides who were also competent in English for those times when we needed to make the switch. David and other staff were accessible to us via WhatsApp throughout the trip and were responsive, helpful, understanding, and quick to address any concerns that we had. We had, on the whole, excellent tour guides, and the availability and skill of the drivers made the whole experience feel secure and predictable. We are already thinking about what our next KimKim trip will be and we 100% recommend KimKim.

Trip to Greece was planned just perfectly. All arrangements were booked for us from the moment we arrived in athens greece, travelling to both islands of paros and milos and then back for our international flight from athens.
So appreciative of Ionnis as there was miscommunication with one of the hotels who charged me, i was able to msg ionnis right away, and he sorted it out and had ir refunded for me. Our next trip to Europe we will for sure be booking through kimkim, no questions asked!

What a cute little boutique hotel run by a sweet family! We arrived to the hotel at 1030pm and the hotel owner gave us a ride into town so my husband and i can have dinner. In the morning they homecooked breakfast for their guests, which was delicious. I also forgot my adapter for plugging in my phone, the owner of the hotel was sweet enough to give me one to borrow. Such a cute, clean and hospitality was amazing . Definitely will come back again!

From the start, Ethel and Fenne did a great job working out the details of our trip, translating our wishlist of activities into a great itinerary; it was easy to work with them and make revisions during the planning process. Before we committed by making a deposit we did some comparative pricing of other packages and felt we were getting good value for the cost of the trip. Plus, this was a trip customized to what we wanted to do, and when we wanted to do it. Just before the trip, Meree joined the team and sent us all of our confirmations and instructions.

It was easy to work with them by email, and we did have one zoom call with Ethel early on to review the plan for the trip before we put a deposit on it.

We spent 3 nights in Oslo, 1 in Ballestrand, 2 in Bergen, 2 on Hurtigruten, and 2 in Trondheim. We had a great time, seeing and experiencing much in our 11 or so days. The hotels the Kim Kim team chose were perfect for us logistically, located near what we wanted to see and experience, and well located for making connections to get to our next stop. There is much more to see and do in Norway than time permitted and perhaps some day we will enlist Kim Kim to help us return to Norway. But as a result of this trip we will not hesitate to consider Kim Kim for future trips.

If you are an experienced mountain biker, this would likely be fun. However, the gravel trails were rather steep and crowded with families walking around, enjoying the scenery. This made it impossible to safely bike the trails, and somewhat dangerous. The person who was staffing the mountain biking concession thought we might not want to do it. Fortunately, we were able to get a refund. Again, if you like mountain biking, steep gravel trails, etc., this is an activity for you.

There should be at least 30 mind to 1hr allowance from the time the tour ends until pick up. The tour supposed to end at 4pm yet pick up time is also 4pm. The tour ended at 4:15 without seeing MonaLisa the room to see it us full of people almost impossible to get close to it & took longer time. After seeing it, you need longer time to exit not even enough time to eat/drink, go to bathroom, or took one last picture. If you have mobility issue the walk time is longer. To reschedule pick up time cost us extra money it could have bedn avoided if at the begining there’s an hour allowance for crowd, bathroom, walk time, or getting lost finding the exit.

She worked with local guides to help us along our way and planned the best activities for us. Whenever there was an issue she was so responsive and able to help! We truly had the most incredible time in Bolivia and it was so nice to not be able to stress about all the little things along with way. We will definitely be booking with Kim Kim again

I love Kimkim. It might not be the cheapest option for travel, but it's certainly the easiest and the best. I've worked with other online travel agencies and none have been as helpful and informative as Kimkim and none have been as responsive during the travel process. This time, our travel coordinator, Margoth, set up a What'sApp communication system that allowed us to report any dissatisfaction we had & communicate about changes to our itinerary. I couldn't believe how helpful Margoth & her team were. They changed dinner reservations for us (times & places) at the last minute. They let us know when one of our activities wasn't going to work & immediately recommended alternatives. When we were unhappy with a guide, we had a new one the next day. Most surprising of all, when one of our drivers showed up for a long drive with a vehicle with A/C that didn't work, they refunded us the cost of the entire outing (but assured us that the guides would be paid)! I was amazed with the service we received. I also love that almost all of our tours were private ones, so my kids & I could move at our pace & didn't have to adjust our pace to that of others.

The other thing I love about Kimkim is how patient all the travel coordinators are. I had difficulty making a lot of decisions & Margoth just kept making changes for me. We wanted a trip that was a little more active -- with more hiking -- than a lot of travelers to Colombia appear to request, & Margoth found ways to meet those requests. She was unbelievably patient with me -- even when I went incommunicado for a bit (because of work).

Finally, the people Kimkim hires are fantastic. We had 4 guides in 3 different cities, & 3 of them were absolutely phenomenal (&, as I said, when I complained that our 2nd guide wasn't very informative or engaged, that guide was quickly replaced). The 3 guides -- Byron in Bogotá, Omar in Pereira, & Diego in Medellín -- enhanced our overall experience in Colombia and helped us to fall in love with the country. All 3 wanted to share their love of their country with us and did so effectively. Byron knew so much about Colombia's history that I assumed he was a history or political science major in college. I wasn't entirely surprised to find out he had studied biology, though, because he also knew a remarkable amount about the flora & fauna of the region. I don't think there was a plant, fruit, or flower he couldn't name. Diego also knew a lot about history & the flora & fauna, but what we most enjoyed about him was his wonderful sense of humor. You have to be impressed by someone who can do puns in a language other than their native one. And who better to take you on a tour of a coffee farm that someone who, before he began working in tourism, had worked for the Colombian national coffee growers association (Omar)? The visit to the coffee farm was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

In addition to the coffee farm, we especially enjoyed the amazing palm forest (despite the crowds), the view of Guatapé Lake from the top of El Peñol (again, despite the crowd), some of the small towns (Salento, Guatapé, Filandia) & the crazy hike up through the river to the El Retiro waterfall. None of us (except the local guide in the town) realized that we would be hiking up the river, but Diego -- who had never been on the hike before -- was a great sport about not having spare shoes to replace the ones that got wet.

If you're worried about old stories about the dangers of Colombia, don't be! I felt as safe there as I have anywhere around the world, and I even walked alone in the mornings, as I do at home in Michigan. The only scary part was crossing some of the streets, thanks to the crazy motorcycle drivers, but none of the 3 cities was comparable to Hanoi when it came to motorcycle-induced, street-crossing terror.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing my trip to Bhutan was - arranged by Sebastiaan at Windhorse. Firstly, Baas organized and reorganized my trip around flights and worked with me to understand how international travel and time zones affected my trip. When I made a mistake on arrival dates he saved me and rescheduled a flight, despite being on vacation with his family. My guide Yonten and driver Tashi have become dear friends - they got to know me and arranged food, destinations and stops all based on my personal interests! I learned so much about Bhutanese culture and life from them and had an absolutely wonderful time. They were both very patient at my attempts to overcome fears of height - offering help when needed but calmly letting me cross bridges and climb mountains at my own snail's pace without a hint of impatience! I miss my guides and Bhutan and cannot wait to return!

Marc was great to work with and did a great job trip planning for us. Our driver on Lombok, Karna, was also great. Our favorite outing was snorkeling around Gili Layar and Gili Renggit - truly magical. Be prepared for lots of traffic when visiting the temples.

The trip was amazing and just what I needed. I love the flexibility and the immediate response from the staff. Harris went above and beyond to ensure the trip was seamless and enjoyable. From having a driver waiting for me right when I got off the tour boat, suggesting yummy places to eat, to the hotel packing me breakfast for my early morning departure. The addition of local help from Evyenia was also excellent! I usually like the process of planning trips but I didn't have the time this go around to do so. They thought of everything and plan on using KimKim again for my next travels.

During the preparation and planning, Long was responsive and helpful and planned a great trip for us, listening to our wishes and preferences well. Throughout the tour, he was in communication, checking everything was going well and it was reassuring to have his WhatsApp if we were to need anything (not needed!).
During the trip, everything from day one went very well. All our guides and drivers were helpful, friendly and spoke English. We had such a great time. Long had primed everyone that we had two coeliac travellers (gluten free diet) and the guides helped us with this.
A highlight in the North was Pu luong, such a beautiful place and our guide "T" was so interesting and knowledgeable.
Hoi An is a gorgeous place and our food tour there with Nancy was a highlight - we went back to the places she took us as they were so good.
HCMC - I would say the motorbike street food tour is a must, you really see the city and the drivers and guides took care of us so well and the food was so good.
Cambodia - Pin, our guide spoke excellent English, was so friendly and helpful with expert knowledge and made our trip there extra special.

What a place and with Pin, our local guide, it was brought to life - he understood how much we as a family with kids needed and when to move on, highlights were the jungle temple and we attended for sunrise and waited for sunset so a long day but well worth it.

We cannot begin to express our appreciation to Raquel and her team for planning a fabulous trip for us to Lisbon, Porto, and Barcelona. There were absolutely no hidden surprises and tour, guides and drivers were always on-time and the hotels, H-10 in Lisbon and Yeatman in Porto and Le Meridian in Barcelona were wonderful. Guides and drivers, Kaoa, Berta, Miguel, Jasper, Craig, Jordi, and Mickael were fun and extremely knowledge! We were a parry of 4 family members. Booking a trip like this requires a lot of trust in your travel agent. Raquel was beyond our expectations!
