We had an exceptional experience in Greece! We were a group of 11, arriving in Athens and excursions to Mykonos and Santorini. Our travel to and from these islands was thoroughly enjoyable. Our hotels were exquisite, as well as our catamaran trip in Mykonos and wine tour in Santorini. Chris gave us the most memorable experience we could have imagined! Bravo Chris!

It was a once in a lifetime trip! Our guide, Nawang, was extremely flexible which was very appreciated because we encountered unusually bad weather which forced us to change our itinerary en route. He was unflappable, upbeat, and listened to us about what we wanted to get the most out of our trip and helped us to meet some of the people we were interested in along the way.

Golden Circle tour with Jacob (Arctic Adventures) was great, as was the 2-day South Coast Tour with Siggi (Troll). Also highly recommend the Inside the Volcano tour - expensive, but really worth it! Hotel Skuggi is a nice hotel with a good location, decent rooms and good breakfast. Would also suggest staying close to Laugavegur to maximize the sights and time locally, something to keep in mind for other travelers.

I also found Sotiria's recommendations for Reykjavik quite useful (places to eat, shop, etc.). The whole experience with Iceland Unlimited was fantastic.

We then travelled by rental car to Moustiers Saint Marie for 3 nights. It is the most beautiful village, wonderful restaurants and friendly people. Driving out to Valensole the huge lavender growing area was an incredible experience!

There was not enough time allotted meet up with our guided portion of the tour. Our luggage transfer service, Taxi Rizzo, was excellent and very complementary of Allibert Trekking. The accommodations, travel books, maps, bus/train information and phone app were good. The choice of destinations and accommodations were excellent. We did a Nordic Visitor tour and they provide a detailed itinerary for each day that you have to choose because there are so many options. They also provide you with a huge published guide book - we spent half a day looking for a book for Norway.

The mythological tour with Vicky was very good—she has a background in archaeology and anthropology and was lively and funny. On such a hot day our younger travelers ran out of energy before we managed to see most of the Agora, but we managed to get the highlights of the Acropolis, and on our last day in Greece we returned to the museum of the Acropolis for a cooler and more detailed visit of the artifacts.

Our time in Naxos was relaxing and cooler after the heat and go-go-go of Athens. The beach hotel was perfect because it was both quiet and lovely. Our hike with Matina was a highlight because she was also very relaxed and able to respond to all our questions on the trail. We were lucky to visit an old Byzantine church when archaeologists were working the site and got to speak with them a bit about their work.

Santorini was next and the crew of our catamaran cruise was delightful. The captain engaged my mom in long conversation and the sights from the water were absolutely stunning. The only issue was that the pasta prepared for the group ran out before my niece could get some — and she eats very few things. It was mainly an issue with one family whose kids took giant portions, but the cook apologized and was seemed stunned to see that the item had vanished before everyone had a chance to sample it. We enjoyed the beach at Kamari and arranged an afternoon trip to Oía. We watched the US women win the World Cup title at an Irish Bar with an attentive staff, and that was fun.

Back at Athens for Laura & Claire’s departure we rented our car and headed for Corinth and the Peloponnese. Such a great choice! Nafpaktos was charming and we especially enjoyed Dimitris’s recommendation for a restaurant there — Captain Cook. Adela and I swam in the sea and climbed to the fortress.

En route to Olympia we enjoyed the countryside and ended up at the wrong Amalia hotel, but we were able to correct in time for our tour with Antonia. She was my favorite guide of the trip—so attentive to our questions and my mom’s pace in the heat. Nafplio proved to be a charming place to spend three nights and at that leg of the journey we were glad not to be moving every day to a new spot. Ilias was an excellent guide as well—maybe surprised with our level of knowledge and interest in the history and happy to go deeper when we asked questions. Mycanae and Epidaurus are very interesting places.

The evening performance of Oedipus Rex was definitely a highlight for me—my mom and I reread the play the day before we saw it, and it sprang to life in the theater as I hoped it would—creating a mythical moment as we considered how Greeks in ancient times may have experienced the brilliance of Greek tragedy.

The kayaking outing was soooo beautiful and George & Nico were excellent guides. George in particular has a zest for life and sharing outdoor experiences that inspire and connect people with natural beauty. Our coordinator at Grecopaths was lovely — helping us pick up our laundry in town and gifting us homemade preserves. Wish we had had more time with her!

The travel back to Athens was smooth and arriving back on a Sunday with little to no traffic was a bonus. Our Pi Athens staff welcomed us back for the third time and Lampros took us to the airport the next day. He’s a gem — so attentive and professional.

You and your team organized a trip we’ll never forget. You’ve earned our trust and stellar recommendation to others. Honestly, my mom was hesitant to go with an agency we knew little about, but everyone had a great time. Thank you for being so responsive to our queries! It instilled a lot of confidence as we went from place to place that we were in good hands.

My wife and I took our trip to the incredible treasure of a country, Bhutan, a bit over a year ago now. That it took me a year to write a review is entirely a reflection on myself and not at all 9n our gracious and accommodating hosts and guides.

Vishal and Sonam, our tour organizers, we're incredible from the initial contact about considering the trip, all the way through to leaving for home.

During the booking discussions they made the process easy and worry free for us. They spoke with us about our goals and desires, planned a wonderful tour that was tailored to our needs and wishes, and then handled all of the paperwork for us. All we had to do was pretty much show up.

Once we arrived we were personally greeted at the airport and welcomed warmly. We met our guides (more later) and were off on the journey. Throughout our 10 day trip we were constantly in contact with Vishal who made sure that everything was going well and that all of our hopes were being met. When we had an issue with one of our accommodations, Vishal bent over backwards to ensure that we were moved to an accommodation that suited our needs even under difficult circumstances of last minute booking.

Near the end of our trip we were treated to a family style meal at Sonam's family restaurant. This was one of the highlights of our trip, the food was amazing and the service was second to none. We hope that we can someday return to this very establishment in addition to the country itself.

As for our guides, they were absolutely incredible. Our guide was Ughyen, UT for short, and our driver was Mikmar.

Let's start about UT. He was a wealth of information about his country, as well as a deep pool of interesting anecdotes and pleasant to talk to for 10 straight days. He listen to our non-stop rambling, and our constant wonder at the natural beauty and amazing culture of his country. He never seem to get genuinely bored of listening to us ramble on. Part way through the trip we were lucky enough to take part in a local ceremony at a private residence that UT organized for us. Being Buddhist ourselves this was absolutely the highlight of our trip. It felt like something that most visitors to Bhutan would not have access to. And while this may not be something that every visitor could count on, we were so thankful that UT went out of his way to ensure that our trip was the trip of a lifetime.

We also spent our one year wedding anniversary in the country, and our guides arranged with a local monastery for us to receive a religious blessing, in what we understand to be a fairly uncommon ceremony with access to a Lama that made us feel very welcome and part of a beautiful culture that we are privileged to have taken part in.

Our driver Mikmar was unbelievable as well. He spoke very little but when he did he had an incredible sense of humor and he also put up with our non-stop rambling about his country and how excited we were. The roads in Bhutan have a much deserved reputation for being scary, through the mountains and even in the cities to some extent there is traffic and sharp drop offs as the entire country is built in the mountains. Unlike many of the drivers we saw who would have terrified us to be in their cars, Mikmarmade us feel comfortable constantly. His driving was incredibly professional and made us feel safe happy and enjoy our trip.

About Bhutan as a whole, we could not say better things. The entire country was beautiful. The people were friendly and wonderful to outsiders. The culture is so unique and so interesting, we feel privileged to have been a part of this rare opportunity in this very remote country. We felt that the country itself is a rare jewel, the culture is opening to the rest of the world and as we understand it changing slowly. We hope that it will retain its unique character and look forward to visiting again to see how things change and how they evolve for the better of all of the residents.

in the year since our visit, we have spoken frequently about this trip as perhaps the highlight of all of our travels in our lives now or in the future. There are many beautiful places in the world to visit and many interesting and unique beautiful cultures. However for us Bhutan was the pinnacle of what we hoped and dreamed to experience.

Our trip was made possible by our wonderful guides and tour operators. Although I am certain that visiting Bhutan would be an extremely rewarding experience no matter how you managed to go, we strongly encourage anyone considering a visit to contact Sonam and Vishal via this website. We hope to visit Bhutan again in the near future and if we manage to do so we will certainly be engaging their services again. The cost to visit Bhutan are not inconsiderable, however the value we received from Sonam and Vishal's service was extremely high. We believe that the money could not be better spent and hope that everyone has an opportunity to visit this gorgeous country.

We thank everyone involved in making our trip a success and wish everyone considering a trip a wonderful journey.

Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sama Sambuddhassa.

The process of communication and enquiries to shape the schedule has been very easy and seamless. Linda was able to make detailed and immediate feedbacks to address my questions or concerns. My partner and I have bought two more guide books for reference and we were constantly surprised by how the most frequently visit spots or must-see have been incorporated in our trip one way or another. Not only did we not miss the most beautiful spots of Norway, yet thanks to Linda’s help on the routes and sequences, we were also able had the luxury of time to explore ourselves and avoid crowds. We started a road trip around Sognefjord, this part is my favorite. Driving around the fjords via the national scenic routes and through the small towns really showed the authentic Nordic experience! The night we spent on the classic Nordic cruise, Hurtigruten, was truly memorable as well. It was the first time for both my partner and I to soend the night on the cruise. The ship is well equipped and the food was freshly made, was certainly one of the best meals I had during Norway. City wise, my fav has to be Oslo! I wish we had more time there. The city is full of beautiful architecture, colours, parks and ever district has its unique things to offer and see. Certainly want to go back!
Weather was a lil extreme to begin with but that gave us wonderful opportunity to see the fjords in difference ways. Jenne, who gave a hike in Fjærland was friendly and energetic. The view we got after an 3 hours hike was breathtaking!
We really enjoyed the trip and truly thankful for the help and coordination provided by Linda and Kimkim. I have traveled quite a lot in the world this i’ve considered myself hard to satisfied when it comes to logistics and planning, Kimkim and Linda certainly outbeat my expectation!

We were very satisfied with Angeliki and the team at travel12 for having organized a great 11-day vacation in Greece that included Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. 5 years ago, we used an online travel agency/service for a trip to Southern Africa, but this was our first experience using kimkim. We were very satisfied with Angeliki and the team at travel12 for having organized a great 11-day vacation in Greece that included Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. 5 years ago, we used an online travel agency/service for a trip to Southern Africa, but this was our first experience using kimkim. We were left with a very good impression of the organization.

After exchanging a few emails and itineraries with Angeliki in Athens, we managed to create a full and interesting itinerary that managed to meet our requirements. My wife and I appreciated having the team arrange our ground and inter-island transportation from the time we arrived at Athens International Airport until it was time to depart. All arranged tours and guides were interesting and informative, and all the hospitality people at the hotels were friendly and helpful. The late-afternoon visit to Delos was unfortunately a bit rushed since we needed to catch the last ferry of the day back to Mykonos. Along the way, we had some great experiences, met warm, friendly people, ate lots of good food, and saw some beautiful sunsets.

We had a wonderful vacation in Greece and a large part of that positive experience can be attributed to kimkim and to Angeliki and the team at travel12.
