Lucie and the Kim Kim team were incredibly helpful in all stages of this trip, from the planning at the beginning and revising and assistance with travel and tours while we were on the trip. One of my favorite tours was in Prague with Becky with our culinary tour. She was incredibly patient and hospitable with adjusting our time after some transportation issues. I also loved seeing the gorgeous libraries and architecture with Katerina. She was very kind with helping with transportation and walking needs of members of our travel party. We had a fantastic time exploring Berlin, Prague, and Munich, and experienced a diverse array of activities during our 10-day trip. Our local specialist, Lucie, secured excellent accommodations in Berlin and Munich, even though both cities were extremely busy due to the marathon and Oktoberfest, respectively.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tours in Berlin and Prague, where we sampled local cuisine and learned fascinating facts about each city. Our time at Oktoberfest was unforgettable, and we had a blast celebrating one of the biggest parties in the world.

The trip offered a great balance of scheduled activities, including private and small group tours, along with plenty of free time. It never felt rushed or overpacked. On the final day, we were captivated by the beauty of the Bavarian Alps and Neuschwanstein Castle. It was a truly memorable way to end our journey.

The Adina Apartment Hotel is modern and stylish, offering stunning views of Munich. It was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts at the Fitzroy, which featured panoramic views and a wide variety of delicious options. The pool and sauna provided a perfect way to unwind after a long day. The rooms were spacious and equipped with updated technology, including Smart TVs and USB ports, while the bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well-appointed.

We loved the location and the abundance of nearby restaurants and bars. The only drawback was the noise at night, music from the local clubs could be heard well into the early hours of the morning.

The location of this hotel was incredible, situated right next to the iconic Charles Bridge. The building exuded historical charm, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the delightful courtyard. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean.

This was a lovely hotel with plenty of historical architecture. We felt really immersed in the city.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Living Hotel Weißensee. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and features a charming beer garden, where we spent our evenings sipping beer and enjoying the cool air. The rooms were clean, though slightly dated, and the location was a bit removed from Berlin’s city center.

The trip itself was amazing. Praise needs to be given to Sonia and Yovena from Cusi Travel , Mauricio from Cusco Culinary, and Flor from Curious Monkey Food Tours for providing unforgettable private experiences for their individual tours and classes. Their knowledge and friendliness made them more fun and memorable. My friend and I stayed for approximately 10 days in Peru, staying in Cusco and Lima. The trip was not without its hiccups. We were in the middle of the protests in Cusco which blocked many tourists from going to Machu Picchu by train. However, Cusi Travel offered an alternative option to get us to Machu Picchu. I chose to remain in Cusco but my friend was able to get his time in Machu Picchu thanks to this alternative option. Kristy from kimkim helped us navigate these difficult waters during this time and we were able to enjoy our trip safely.
Kristy put up with a lot of our last minute requests and changes, not only due to the protests, but also with how we ended up doing some last minute changes with the travel plans due to our own personal needs. While unprecedented, she adapted and pivoted professionally and did her best to accommodate us. Because of this, I will use kimkim again to plan another trip (and even a 2nd trip to Peru). For that 2nd trip to Peru, I will go in more experienced and having made contacts with Cusi Travel and Curious Monkey.

Liz and Greg and Diliana, were great to work with. I worked with Liz the most and she answered ALL of my questions, and addressed ALL my concerns. I told her exactly what I wanted, and she was able to come up with a plan and also changed it when needed. The guides we had were great as well, in addition to the lodging and wineries! Just as a heads up, chateau de pizay where we stayed was beautiful but it is, its on entity. Meaning you will need to take a cab into town if you want to eat at different restaurants. But the winery and vineyards there are lovely! And Paris was great too and a change of pace in our trip. Ending with a trip to Champagne, was great as well. This trip is best for wine lovers, unless you want to experience the calmness, of the countryside of France.

This is an authentic European hotel, the rooms are not big, but the location of the hotel is nice, and there was breakfast every morning. The hotel is away from the tourist area, but not far, therefore the restaurants around were good and not “touristy.” Locals were all around, which is nice! Also it is not a big hotel, very cozy!

The chateau was great! But if you want a variety of restaurants you will need to take a cab into town, which cost about 20euros. The chateau almost looks like like a storybook with the vineyards and garden. You can also wine taste at the winery, at the chateau which was nice! It’s calm and peaceful! And had it been a little warmer I would have taken advantage of the pool!

KimKim did a great job coordinating our 4 city, 10 day trip. Kept to our budget and scheduled excursions to maximize our experiences. The daily update messages were appreciated. Coordinating our transportation schedules was something I don’t think I could have done on my own—it was extensive.
The Coliseum and grounds and of course the Vatican in Rome was time well spent. The hustle and bustle of Florence (and the leather!) was enjoyable. The relaxed and quaint atmosphere in Cinque Terre was a good third stop and the water city of Venice and its rich history was a great final stop. Did I mention the food and wine? I miss it already.
Looking forward to working with the company of another country soon…..

From the very first contact Mieke showed her expertise as well as her interest in getting us the best trip possible! She made suggestions of activities, guiding us to places we would not have visited otherwise, and loved, and even met us in person one day to help us feel more comfortable with travel! Hotels with good locations, transport, restaurant reservations, and more, done for us and that greatly relieved the stress of planning the trip. We made quite a few changes as the trip evolved and it was so nice to have Mieke’s knowledge of when would be best to do things, and changes were done promptly and cooperatively. The materials sent to us (maps, descriptions, etc.) were very helpful, and it was nice to be able to print everything out as well as save it on my phone. We had a great trip, and having an expert local agent was the key.

The Collector Hotel in The Hague was fantastic. It was really beautiful, had a nice room, and the staff were great. The location was excellent with no complaints whatsoever. Truly a pleasant experience all around.

The Hotel des Arts in Amsterdam was beautiful and historic, but it had its challenges. We had to climb four flights of narrow stairs with our luggage as there were no escalators, and it was unexpectedly warm, making it difficult to sleep. On the plus side, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. Overall, an okay stay but not without its discomforts.

The Scheepvaartmuseum (Maritime Museum) in Amsterdam was a delightful surprise. It's very historical, and you get to go on boats, which I think both kids and adults would enjoy. It's a bit off the beaten path in terms of common tourist spots, but definitely worth a visit.

The Vermeer Center in Delft was disappointing. There were no real paintings, just a couple of rooms with not much to learn that we didn't already know from visiting other locations like the Rijksmuseum and Mauritshuis. It didn't meet my expectations.

From the beginning of planning until the last day of the trip we were treated very well and given the experience we were looking for .
There were a couple of hiccups while in the trip that were dealt with very quickly. All of the hotels and tours were great .
The most surprising to me was the incredible small town of Les Baux des Provence . The hotel was amazing and the actual town like something out of a fairy tale .

We are a retired couple that values a specific way of traveling - slow starts to the day, spacious centrally located accommodations, private tours for the most part, some free time periodically, relatively infrequent hotel changes and so on. We detailed our preferred way of travel to Tomaz and he put together a great itinerary.

We just returned from the trip and couldn't have been happier - we spent four weeks in Eastern Europe visiting Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia. The accommodations were all spot on, the local guides were all so fantastic, and the trip, while very busy, was a pace we enjoyed. We visited locations we actually would not have considered - some lovely places in the Czech Republic and in Slovenia in particular.

Once the itinerary was set with Tomaz, we worked with Zala to finalize the details. While traveling we were able to easily contact Zala with any questions we had and she was extremely responsive.

Both Tomaz and Zala delivered beyond our expectations. We are considering Croatia next and will definitely reach out to Grand Cuvee if we make that trip!

Carolina is excellent to work with. She was patient and thoughtful throughout the process. I was planning the trip for my older parents and she made many modifications and assisted me in making the right plans to accommodate their needs. My parents had a wonderful experience. The guides were kind and helpful especially the guides crossing the lakes in Patagonia. They enjoyed the trip tremendously. Thank you Caro and team!

We were contacted by Stephen Malloy in April 1, 2025 and began planning our Ireland Vacation. From the beginning, Stephen made us feel like he cared about making this trip an adventure for us. We exchanged emails, had two videos chats, questioners, and even received feed back and help from his partner in crime: Elisa Gjepali, Two for One! We must have been important or a big pain.
We received our first itinerary on April 6 and it was almost perfect. We could tell Stephen had listened to us and was trying to make our dream vacation a reality. A few changes were made and we had booked our trip by April 26 and excited to be on our way.
From May through September, Stephen or Elisa answered many. many question we had and not just about our bookings and outing. We had never traveled internationally and had no idea about anything. From travel insurance to customs procedures, they helped us feel comfortable and never acted like it was a bother.
We received our travel book a week before we left on our trip. Some scheduling changes had been made and they wanted to make us aware of the changes. Stephen even did another video chat with us because there was on very confusing day and he wanted to make sure we were all on the same page about the changes for that day.
Our first day in Ireland, we received an email from Stephen welcoming us to Ireland. A friendly face in a new town. He made sure we had numbers to call in case of problems, and let us know we could still contact him or Elisa if needed.
And we did need them a couple of times. Problems were handled and we had a wonderful time.

The weather did not cooperate for this activity, which was not our boat captain’s fault, but I did feel like the tour should have been canceled since it was not conducive to swim, etc due to the weather.

Overall, we had the absolute most magical trip to Iceland. Hanna helped to book all the necessary restaurant reservations and they were all fabulous! The snorkeling at the Silfra fissure was a must. We also visited Fridheimar Tomato Farm and the dinner was fantastic - as a plus it was walking distance from our hotel (Blue Hotel Fagrilundur). Both Seljalandsfoss (where you can walk behind the falls - just do it!) & Skogafoss (forest waterfall) were some of our favorites. Reynisfjara beach (black sand) was magnificent - it wasn't hard to imagine the scenes from Game of Thrones being filmed there. The Katla ice cave tour was super fun as well - you'll hike the Myrdalsjokull glacier, then visit the amazing blue and black ice cave of the Kötlujökull glacier on Mt. Katla. If we had to pick our favorite canyon it would be Fjadrargljufur canyon - just stunning. Another must see spot was Jokulsarlon & Diamond Beach where you could see the very blue chunks of glacier floating and the diamond beach appearance - we also saw some seals during our stop. Vestrahorn & the Viking Village also offered some unique and stunning views of the mountains and the beautiful water. The Hverir geothermal area was super cool (all be it a bit overwhelming with the sulfur content in the air). Hotel Laxa was one of our favorite spots for lodging and we lucky enogh to have a spectacular showing of the Northern Lights while there. Our whale watching in Husavik was canceled due to weather but luckily we were able to re-book for Árskógssandur and we couldn't have asked for a better outing - the gear they provide was very warm and we were able to see lots of whale activity. The Forest Lagoon was one of our groups favorite stops for relaxation (better than Blue Lagoon as it wasn't near as crowded and the water is clear with no silica - wish we had a bit more time to explore Akureyri and maybe stay over a night. Our last nights in Reykjavik were fun exploring the city, shopping and eating (get the hot dog at Baejarins Beztu Pylsur). Dinner at Fiskfelagid Fish company was so delicious as well.

Overall, I offer the following insights: 1. Buy waterPROOF gear (jacket and pants and an extra poncho if you really hate being wet) - not water resistant. 2. Bring layers- you will ABSOLUTELY need them no matter when you visit. 3. Comfortable waterproof hiking shoes or boots are a must. 3. The food was so much BETTER than we expected, although bringing snacks for the drive was essential especially if you wanted to limited your stops during the day.

Also, Hanna and her colleagues were super helpful and timely in responding to last minute requests during the trip. Hihgly recommend them and highly recommend visiting Iceland.
