Tokyo: hotel Cerulean was amazing! Excellent service and spacious room. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Our guide Yumi was not great. It was a rainy day so she finished the tour at 2pm but did not give much suggestions on what else to see. The Yanaka historical walking tour was very nice.

Kyoto: Our hotel was convenient because we did lots of buses. The room was spacious, but nothing like the Cerulean in Tokyo. Our guide Masaaki Tanaka fooled us because we saw him at first and he is an older gentleman but he was quicker and more fast paced than us. He was excellent, very knowledgeable and very interesting. Took us to eat in a beautiful noodle house and it was raining as well so instead of going to Kiyomiu-dera Temple we went to the indoor museum where there is 1000 buddas. Very fascinating.! Had another full day with him in Nara and temple there and he was excellent.
Our other guide was Yuki, she was soft spoken and very good as well. Had a long great day with her in the Bamboo forest.

Osaka: The Westin Osaka was very nice and had good service as well. There is alot of construction going on around it there so it was a bit of a walk to the main city and train station that had all the restaurants and stores. Would have prefer to stay closer to that area. Met with Yuki again and she took us on a city tour of Osaka. The museum was very interesting, probably would have skipped the Osaka Castle, was alot of walking. The food tour at night was alot of fun and the guide was funny and very quick. She took lots of pictures, would love to see them. Hiroshima guide, was very knowlegeable and spoke great english. Gave us a full tour and great place for lunch. Forgot her name, but Im sure you must have it.

Hakone: AMAZING!!!!! The hotel was first class, the buffets were fabulous, the springs were so relaxing and the scenery was spectacular. Our guide to see Mt. Fuji was May - excellent and a great photographer too! He was witty and bought us alot of local treats so we could enjoy them. Extremely knowleagable of the area and took us to an open air museum, including Picassos, that was not on the itinerary. This Hakone open air museum, should be on the list. Our driver, Joan was professional, on time and a sweetheart! This was the perfect ending to a hectic tour of Japan. Thanks to Angel and KimKim for all the assistance and patience with us!

Simply put: this was the most amazing trip of my life. Hassan was super helpful, knowledgeable, and was great at listening to what we were looking for in a trip. He put together the most amazing package for us.

The hotels, restaurants, and tours were awesome. This was our first trip with a guide and itinerary, and what we realized is that it was so refreshing to not have to wake up and make a tonne of decisions as everything was laid out for us. We could then change the plans depending on our energy levels of the day.

And Khalid...our driver for 10 days. Wow. He was top shelf. His mannerisms, personality, friendliness, and kindness was beyond expectations. His knowledge of everywhere we went was unbelievable. He had a great sense of humor, answered all our questions, and swiftly became a member of our "family".

My absolute favorite, and bucket list item that I didn't know was a bucket list item until I did it, was riding a camel in the Sahara and staying in an amazing camp in the Sahara. Absolutely stunning and the #1 experience of my life (it knocked Machu Picchu / Amazon jungle off the top spot).

Fes and the market was an incredible experience as was the gorgeous and unique Blue City, Chefchaouen.

We chose to have two meals with Berber families, and both experiences were amazing. The food and hospitality was unmatched.

Morocco is stunning in beauty and I could not believe the diverse landscape as we traveled around it. I am thrilled with the route we took and wouldn't trade our experience for anything.

We loved our 8-day visit to Morocco. Our driver, Tayeb, was an excellent source of information about the places we were visiting, historical background, cultural insights and other, more practical matters. He was also totally flexible about how and where we spent our time, adjusting schedules whenever our priorities shifted slightly. We visited Marrakesh, Casablanca (briefly), Rabat, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Tangier (with stops at a few other locations along the way). All in all, we found Morocco a fascinating country, a charming mix of old and new, with very modern infrastructure in very traditional settings, and very open and hospitable people. KimKim was endlessly patient with us in the initial planning for the trip, and helped us put together an itinerary that gave us just the right exposure to their beautiful country. We can certainly recommend their services to any who are considering a visit to Morocco.

Pedro and his team were exceptional. The planning and execution was exactly what we asked for and if there was a little glitch, he was ready to do what he could to fix it. Emanuela helped spectacularly plan the itinerary for my honeymoon trip to Iceland. My wife and I found it very easy to communicate to Emanuela what we wanted to do and found that everything that she recommended to us was just simply amazing. Even with flight delays causing us to get to Iceland a day later, Emanuela helped us with modifying our itinerary and making sure we didn't lose anything we had already booked. We were completely thrilled with our food tour group as Stefan from Your Friend In Reykjavik was incredibly funny and also very informative regarding Icelandic cuisine, history, and culture. My wife and I enjoyed learning from our tour guide on our lava tube cave tour and also our lovely chats with the wonderful people who work at the horseback riding stable in Vik! My personal favorites, outside of all the food we had, were certainly Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi because I could walk around and under Seljalandsfoss and I had to walk through the canyon to get to Gljúfrabúi. We would recommend Emanuela to anyone looking to make their way to Iceland! Thank you again for all your help and we both hope to be back in Iceland very soon!

What should have been my first clue, I got a call from a hotel in Dublin at 2 AM in the morning trying to confirm our stay for a day before we even left Canada.

Second. The final e-mail outlining our details of the trip was addressed to someone else and it created a lot of
confusion.

The info from the service provider was very awkward to use and it took some time to sort it all out.
The information we needed access at least once every day of our trip was a royal pain to get to.
It involved many hidden steps every time.
The process is listed below….
1) Find the email containing the trip info
2) Find where it says read more.
3)Open trip summary.
4) Locate view details.
5) Scroll to. The current day.
6) Then open show details.
It shouldn’t have involved all those steps every time.
Our excursion to an abandon village never listed a time for our private tour. Luckily we decided to just go there and we arrived at the correct time. Lucky.
The distillery tour indicated that we needed a voucher for the tour. Wrong. They had quit giving tours last year. Fortunately we did get a self guided look at their equipment and had a tasting that is always free.
We booked a this trip to Ireland because of the wonderful experience we had with your company with our trip to Croatia two years ago.
To put it succinctly, if this was our first experience with KimKim Travel it would have been our last.

My husband and I had a very memorable vacation in Colombia .

All our excursions and meals were carefully arranged and we were pleased at the very high standards that Michael and his team adhered to.

My favorite spot was the Cocora Valley and the majestic palm trees. A must see for everyone.

Driving in the antique Willy ( jeep) was perhaps my husband’s favorite for sure.

Do give Micheal and his team a chance to plan a trip for you , you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks to this planning and booking, we had a wonderful time in Iceland. It gave us a great launching point, with plenty of time to experience things and make slight modifications. Starting off with the Reykjavik food tour was excellent. One suggestion was a glacial tour, which was incredibly fun. Another of our amazing experiences was horse riding in the Westman Islands.

Overall great trip to Norway! Tom was really great to work with, responsive and helpful with all of my questions and changes regarding the planning process. Our trip went smoothly and we really enjoyed our time. There were a few things that were slightly underwhelming that I would maybe change or want others to be aware of.

1. The Wangen Apartments in Aurland had a LOT of construction. They were paving some areas and it smelt of hot asphalt when we pulled up to the hotel so it was very off putting right from the start. I was not made aware that there was any construction going on. There was no lobby since everything was under construction. The view from the room was phenomenal, but the rooms were tiny! It would be ok for 2 people but for a family of 4 you absolutely need more space. The bedroom was extremely small no room to even walk around the bed. The mattress pads (not even a normal mattress) would slip off the bed and you could not open/close the bedroom door it was so small. The black out shades in the bedroom had huge spaces around the edges and light shown right into your eyes. There was no air or AC and it felt very hot and stuffy at times. Living rooms had no blackout shades so children sleeping on the pull out couch had a very hard time falling asleep at night. No closet or room for any luggage. Bedding felt cheap and scratchy. Overall this hotel was a disappointment and felt more budget level. I might stay here again because the view was so good, but I would wait until construction is done and I would get a much bigger room!

2. While the lunch at Mt. Ulriken was nice, I didn’t think it was a very good child friendly space, and should not be recommended for small children. It’s a very slow 3course meal and they were very slow between courses. I would only recommend this for adults. We also went to Floyen which was not recommended by Tom, but should have been as it was much better for kids since there are fantastic parks and lots to do!

We had a wonderful week in Mexico! Rene was wonderful to work with; he took the time to get to know what we wanted from our vacation and was key in helping plan unique side-trips and an immersive language experience. We had great guides and drivers throughout and enjoyed the unstructured time we had to explore. Thank you!

This was an AMAZING trip! Everything was planned and coordinated and it worked out perfectly. Sienna and Leah were very receptive and quick to respond to any questions. All of the transfers were taken care of and the hotels were above and beyond expectations with service, cleanliness and location. Would definitely use Kim Kim again and recommend!!!!

Breakfast and coffee were exemplary. We rented as car and there was plenty of parking near hotel. Easy location for getting to other parts of the island and took a water taxi from the walkable port to Kolympithres beach. Walkable to Naoussa Beach. The room was clean and nicely decorated and maintained. AC worked wonderfully.

We went around the point of Paros Park and got to swim, and hike up to the lighthouse, where she prepared an amazing picnic lunch. She had snorkeling gear, but the water was so clear we didn’t even need to use!

We were very happy with all the arrangements made by Angel. She was exceptional in her communication and coordination to make the travel seamless.

Some parts of our trip were above and beyond our expectations. Our 5-night stay in Amboise was very charming and lovely - however it was a one mile walk to ANYTHING, including restaurants and tour meeting points. From speaking to our specialist, I assumed that our tour group would pick us up and drop us off at our hotel - not so. Also, I told the specialist how much I disliked crowds, and our trip to Monet's garden was on a 100 person double decker bus, and into a tremendously crowded area, where it was difficult to enjoy the garden.

I can't speak highly enough about the team from Say Hue Que in Buenos Aires, Micaela, Mila and Camilla. You ladies are fantastic. You made our trip from planning to execution to emergency hospital visit run so smoothly. You also linked us up with some amazing guides, in particular Carlos from Condor Travel in Peru, who was with us for six days, including four days walking the Inca Trail. His knowledge of Incan history, flora and fauna was exceptional. And a huge shout to our chef, Wilbur and his team of porters who made it possible for us to complete the Inca Trail. Who thought we could eat restaurant quality food in the middle of the Andes, miles from anywhere. You always had smiles on your faces and your speed and agility on the trail was mind blowing.
Lake Titicaca was also a beautiful place, but more than the floating reed islands of Uros, which were fascinating. Our guide, Abad, also from Condor Travel, lead us for two days hiking Taquile Island, cycling the Luquina Peninsula and kayaking along the coast of the lake. He helped us create memories of a lifetime!
Our guides in Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls also did a good job but as we had small group tours (we had private tours in Peru) we didn't get to know them so well.

Our guide Abad made the two days a memorable experience. Viewing the lake from different perspectives gives Lake Titicaca more life. Everyone goes to see the Uros Islands, the floating reed islands, which are incredible, as are the people who live on them. But Lake Titicaca at 4000m, is more than that and to experience it hiking, cycling and kayaking is a great experience as you get to see different perspectives of the region. The home stay was also great to do.

This kayak on Laguna Puiray was excellent. The guide supplied us with quality kayaks as well as good quality wetsuits and booties. We explored the lake and heard about the history and geography of the area. The picnic lunch was far more than a picnic. It was an amazing spread of local dishes prepared on site just for us. The local company, Authentic Ecuador was fabulous from start to finish! We had a welcome package of chocolates and coffee in our hotel room upon arrival, Paul met us at our cooking class and checked in with us along the way , our experience at the Napo Cultural Center was amazing, and our guide in Quito, Daniel, was truly exceptional…we feel like we were shown the highlights by someone who not only loves his country but wants others to also see how great it is…we had so many discussions, so many experiences ( chocolate tastings, coffee tastings, etc)…we feel like we are leaving a good friend in a country that we cannot wait to return to! This property was beautiful just wish we knew what exact room we were getting. Our trip advisor told us we were getting upgraded and that wasn’t the case so we were very disappointed. The hotel handled it very professionally though and it wasn’t their fault. They were very helpful with luggage etc.

My wife and I recently returned from an incredible trip to Morocco, meticulously planned by KimKim Travel, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our journey took us from the bustling city of Casablanca, to the serene blue streets of Chefchaouen, the rich culture and history of Fes, the awe-inspiring dunes of Merzouga in the Sahara Desert, the peaceful palm groves of Skoura, and finally to the vibrant, colorful energy of Marrakesh.

Every destination offered something unique, and KimKim's local team, including Sharif in Fes and Hanan in Marrakesh, ensured that we experienced each place in a truly authentic and comfortable way.

One of the standout aspects of our trip was the fantastic lodging arranged for us. Each riad and hotel was not only beautiful and welcoming but also ideally located and reflective of the local character. We felt like every stop was a special experience, thanks to the thoughtful accommodations.

A major highlight of our journey was our private driver, Ilyace. From the moment he picked us up, we knew we were in great hands. He was incredibly professional, punctual, and knowledgeable — but more than that, he was kind, personable, and genuinely passionate about sharing his country with us. His insights, recommendations, and stories enriched every leg of the trip, and we felt both safe and cared for throughout. Ilyace truly went above and beyond, and we can’t thank him enough.

In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend KimKim and their Moroccan team to anyone considering a trip to Morocco.
