We LOVED our 8 night stay at cabin Pajala of Ylläksen yöpuu. Wonderfully well thought out and equipped, beds were comfortable, great views for the Northern Lights. We loved the great coffee maker, the excellent sauna and especially meeting Leo and Maria (owner family). Being close to shopping, restaurants, the Ylläs ski bus, ski rental and the lake access to ski trails was great. Walking access to 2 other talked was also good.

This hotel has beautiful architecture and decor however, due to its design and structure, the rooms are noisy. Most tourist have to leave early in the morning for their tours and you will definitely will hear their departure in early hours of the morning like 4 AM.The staff are amazing and they accommodate everything.

This hotel is basic in every angles. Nothing to brag about and nothing to complain about.

We LOVED this hotel. The food, the horseback riding, the bungalows, the grounds itself- all of it was so much fun to explore and learn about! The road was bumpy for the last leg to this hotel but it is worth it!

The highlight was the Green Wave Raglan Surf School which caters to all ages and ability levels. They had us surfing (for a bit) and made it very fun and enjoyable.

Very informative of the Maori history and culture with a delicious lunch of local foods.

Flying over snow-capped mountains and glaciers with mountain peaks as far as you can see, landing on the sound, dolphin-escorted boat cruise, sailing up to waterfalls

This served its purpose as a place near the airport so we could make our morning flight.

A rave review for this Kasbah and for Michelle who refurbished this historic building with authenticity and elegance. The hospitality, food, beauty and comfort of this place were a stand out.

This was a gorgeous camp. Our rooms were comfortable and attractive - amazing to have plumbing and hot and cold water in the desert. The dining room was beautiful and we had amazing meals at this camp.

This was a comfortable hotel and served well its purpose as a jumping off point for the desert camp.

We enjoyed our stay here. A beautiful Riad, great breakfasts and good service.

A beautiful Riad. The staff may have been a little over their heads, though Fatya was working hard to make us comfortable and was a lovely hostess. We were two couples traveling together and the rooms we were assigned were quite different - one quite spacious, and the other rather small.

A beautiful Riad with excellent service - great start to our Morocco adventure. We had a lovely dinner there as well as breakfast.

We enjoyed our visit to Majorelle and Anima gardens. Majorelle gardens are a tour de force of color and garden design meeting amazing plantings especially of succulents. The little museum of Berber clothing, ornamentation and life was also gorgeous. The Anima gardens are a bit outside the city but were worth a visit for another unique garden which incorporates colorful artwork and sculptures. It had a good outdoor cafe which was a good and relaxing lunch spot.

Our original driver/tour manager Sallam was able to be back with us for this extended tour of Marrakesh. Visiting the Palais Bahia, an old madrassa with a long history, and of course a tour of the medina were done really well by Sallam and we enjoyed it all very much! We stopped at a government certified herbalist shop. Sallam also filled in info about Ait el Benhaddou for us. We said good bye to Sallam after this tour.

We had a guided tour of a kasbah which involved also understanding cultivation inside a kasbah. This road is spectacular and the kasbahs are amazing to see - the way in which they mimic and blend into the countryside is interesting. Ourzazate was interesting with an entertaining tour guide of this big movie studio where many movies were filmed from westerns to historical and biblical movies. At Ait el Benhaddou we were dropped off at the wrong place to enter - this necessitated crossing a stream on stepping stones. When we contacted our driver he came back and got us to a bridge which seemed to be the more normal way to enter. Lack of signage and aof guide at this site made it less enjoyable.

We had a different driver for this segment of our tour who was a very good driver but was not a guide. Again, he was doing this at short notice and did his best. The Todgha Gorge was gorgeous as was the drive to Dades valley. Very lovely countryside!

One couple from our group of four rode the camels to the camp. The others took the suv. The handoff from our driver to the camp personnel was a bit chaotic and it was hard to understand exactly what was going on. The sunset ride was beautiful and a unique experience made more unusual by the fact that it was raining in the desert!

I think I covered this in the previous review. We also visited a workshop where we learned about the fossils from that region and saw the artifacts they made incorporating the fossils. Very unique!

Our driver Mohammed was the nicest man but perhaps was not someone who usually functioned as a guide. He did his very best, since he had been assigned to us at short notice. Getting to the hotel on a rainy night (not usual in a desert region for sure) was a challenge and it was a good thing we had phones with service so we could help with online maps and navigation. Next morning we visited Rissani, a kasbah, and also enjoyed the Gnawa musicians. All enjoyable.

Mohammed, our guide for Fes, was the best site specific guide we had. He grew up in the medina there and seemed to know everybody. This was an extensive tour, which took us to a great viewpoint for a panoramic view of Fes, and also included the palace, the medieval university and the madrasa as well as a visit to the jewish quarter and a synagogue, also the souk. The famous tanneries where leather is dyed was interesting also. We also got to see how the tiles for the amazing tile work were made. We really enjoyed our guide and the tour!

Volubilis is a wonderful site located in beautiful countryside. We enjoyed the mosaics which are in pretty good condition , the baths and the remains of a temple. Our guide was helpful.

We did not have an orientation walk. However when we asked, Salaam was able to make suggestions about what we should try to see and also about places to eat.

Beautiful drive with good and informative conversations with Salaam. We stopped in Volubilis, an ancient Roman site. The guide there was good but not a stand out.

We had this tour on the morning before we drove to Chefchaouen. We were a bit tired the first evening and just enjoyed walking around a bit on our own. The next morning we had a wonderful tour with our guide (so sorry not to be able to pull up his name). We also visited the ancient necropolis of Chellah where we got a sense of what an amazing city it must have been. We also got to see the amazing black and white storks who have built enormous nests. We had requested a visit there and it has a history going back to the Phoenicians and the Romans prior to being used by Muslim rulers. Spotting the stork nests became a feature of our whole trip - they often they build nests at the top of a mosque.

We had set up a group Whats App chat with Salaam prior to our arrival. This made our arrival go smoothly despite the fact that one couple arrived in Casablanca a few hours after the other couple. Salaam made sure the other couple was comfortable and got coffee and water before we got there.

The accommodation in Midelt was not particularly good. It was one of those situations where we had to bite the bullet. We learned it was the best among limited options, which was unfortunate.

Our stay at Chefchaouen was remarkable. The accommodation here was top-notch, offering excellent comfort and a wonderful experience overall. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

The accommodation in Rabat was excellent. It really stood out during our trip for its great comfort and service, making our stay very enjoyable.

The guided food tour in Marrakech was superb. Our guide was incredible, providing us with an enjoyable and insightful journey through the culinary side of Marrakech.

The guided tour in Fes was excellent. Our guide was exceptional, making the experience enjoyable and informative. It was one of the best-guided tours during our trip.

The private cooking class with a souk tour in Essaouira was an enjoyable and memorable experience. We had a great time participating in this activity, and it added a wonderful personal touch to our trip.

Very low budget room - breakfast marginal Would not recommend

Finished our trip back in Marrakech and what a beautiful place to cap off our adventure! Beautiful Hotel with large rooms, a wonderful pool, and one of the best breakfasts I have ever had! Great restaurants and shopping!

Oz Palace is a beautiful gem! Beautiful hotel with a lovely pool area and do very quiet and peaceful! I could have stayed there for a week! The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very spacious!

From the Camel ride to our luxury camp to the incredible people, food, and sights! The Sahara Desert is an absolutely Magical place! Wish we would have stayed here longer! It is a must visit if you come to Morocco! Watching the sun set over the sand dunes, seeing a million twinkling Stars at night, and watching the sun rise the next morning is an experience my family and I will never forget!

The hotel was beautiful, spacious, and a lovely oasis in the desert! The food and staff were amazing and the accommodations for a family of 4 were absolutely perfect!

The Riad Nasreen was very nice and accommodating! Great to start our trip with a traditional Moroccan Riad!

Hamid our local Marrakech guide was a wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable, passionate and thoughtful throughout our tour! He took us all over Old town Marrakech and gave us great insight all along the way! Wonderful Tour!!

Clean, spacious rooms and delicious food. Excellent service from staff and a pool table open to all guest. We played pool with guest from England and had such a good time, within our down time from our tours. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful surroundings.

Was concerned about what the cruise ship because there are so many to choose from.. Such a beautiful ship and staff, my relatives that were with me was never on a cruise, so this was their introduction. They were concerned about sea sickness, the food choices, etc. We were all pleased with the MS Nile Premium. It is a small ship with I believe 56 rooms so not the size of Carnival or Norwegian cruise lines. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious. The buffet had good choice options and each night there was different selection for their carving table. Veal and duck was my favorite, they must have knew. We relaxed on the top deck while cruising the Nile and enjoyed tea time. The guest were international, we met guest from Spain, Australia, Italy and every group had their personal tour guide that cruised on the ship as well.

The Cairo Tower is good for the few of Cairo , the food was good too but the restaurant needs updating. I would compare it to a local American restaurant like Olive Tree.

Exellent Boutique Hotel only 8 or 9 rooms. Large rooms, comfortable bedding. Ivana was very hospitable

The walking tour was informative. Ivan’s is an archeologist so was very knowledgeable & a great story teller of century’s back. Never thought so many people would be there in April, but it was Easter weekend. We went up on the Cable car great views had Lunch at Panorama Restaurant overlooking Dubrovnik. Fantastic day in Dubrovnik.

Ston was an experience. First walked around the walled in town. Saw what the Croatians call their “ Great Walk of Croatia” large fort like structure. Later was taken by boat, to a floating barge where they had the oysters & mussels strung from the barge into the sea. Had a Lunch there. Very unique experience. We also visited a very elegant winery Milo. Their red wine was delicious.,Beautiful Day

This particular tour was done by car. Too windy for a bicycle ride. It was a great day with our guide in Korcula. Went to a Honey Bee producer Liberan & tasting. Learned much of the Bee word and delicious Honey. Visited a small family vineyard. Tasovac Winery their white wine was wonderful. They had a red one that was very good as well. Nice lunch with the family. Drove through picturesque coastline & beaches. Great day in Korcula

I almost backed away from Korcula. The wind & rain was pretty bad. Many ferries cancelled. Nikola made some changes & we made it & so happy We did. It is a favorite… despite the rain & wind our Guide for the city, Lea, was fabulous. Spirited, energetic. History on the walled city. It was Easter weekend, so they had processions the city was alive. Good meal at Biancura restaurant

Brac Hotel Osam was very elegant as is the town. Beautiful homes in the area. Visited Pucisca visited & learned about stone masonry. While there a stone roof was being repaired. Interesting never seen a stone roof…went to Vidora Gora (Very Windy) visibility was not good, but on a good day it must be breathtaking from up here to see Bol & Zlatni Rat Beach. The olive oil museum experience was fun! The lunch there was tasty.

Hvar was a full Great Day. Visited Stari Grad, Veliko Grablje, Jelsa, Picturesque scenery throughout the island. Went to a small winery & Olive oil for tasting great time. Grgo took us for lunch to a family restaurant in Svirces for “Peca” typical Croatian meal. Lavender fields though not in season yet. Lovely day in Hvar

Vis Island is a quaint fishing village. It has much History from WWII and after this war. Tito’s dictatorship built military facility. The position of Vis island was a strategic place for defense. Ammunition stored, partisans stayed. Now there are lots of vineyards and fishing. Great dinner restaurant Pojoda. With our guide visited Vis town, Vislander Winery in Milna was beautiful with Great Wines. Jastogera restaurant was fun Lobster/seafood place in Komiza another beautiful town in Vis Island. Here you have the Blue Caves. Weather was bad so could not go (April)…

Ivana is a great story teller. Go back in time during the era. Is knowledgeable & hospitable
