What an awesome trip. Our guide, Than, was super nice and helpful. Even helped my mom down the 500 steps in Tam Coc. Vietnam is a beautiful country and Ha Long Bay was more incredible than we could have imagined. Endless islands and gorgeous weather. Really recommend working with Camellia too. She was responsive, helpful, and made sure the trip was exactly what we wanted.

The Hidden Charm hotel in Ninh Binh was quite nice. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and it felt safe. It was conveniently located about 10 minutes from the next day's tour. The hotel also had a restaurant, which was a plus.

The Tirant Hotel in Hanoi was quite luxurious. The rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable. There was a rooftop restaurant which offered great food and a beautiful view of the sunset. Even though I arrived late and didn't do much in Hanoi, the hotel was a positive part of my experience.

I felt at ease with the transportation from the airport to Ninh Binh. The driver and guide were friendly and professional, making the two-hour drive more comfortable. The journey was a bit hectic and stop-go, which might be a problem for those who get motion sickness easily. But overall, the pick-up and transfer service was efficient and reliable.

The Thien Canh Son Cave was part of the Halong Bay tour. It was a bit crowded and not as memorable as other parts of the trip. It was a short walk through a small cave. It wasn't a must-see activity, but it was included and gave us a chance to get off the boat.

Rinolda was super helpful and very responsive. We really found her helpful. Our trip was great. There was a lot of driving but it was worth it. I highly recommend an ice cave visit. That was incredible. Ours left from Vic, which was a good place to visit. Also highly recommend a trip to glacier lagoon. Rinolda was our boat guide and again she was great. That was the highlight of our trip. Reykjavik was a really fun town to visit. Sky lagoon was ok. It not great. Overall very please with Rinolda and her help

We had a wonderful trip to Brazil! Camille did an amazing job with our itinerary, hotel selection and all our guides were exceptional. It was the right balance of activities and relaxation. Everything was well organized and we never waited for anyone. When one of our internal flights were delayed the team was available to help us, even on a Sunday. Lencois was unforgettable and worth the effort to get there, Rio is a stunning city and Isla Grande was a highlight. Definitely recommend Camille for your trip!

Our trip to Brazil was amazing from the start when we decided to contact kimkim. Chadya is exceptional and she catered to our every need even though we kept changing dates and programmes. All our guides were exceptional and went out of their way to see that we had a wonderful vacation. Well done kimkim. I would recommend kimkim to anyone and I would use them over and over again. We had a wonderful time in Argentine. Ana and her team put together an itinerary that ensured that we saw the best that the country had to offer. From vibrant cities to high altitude Andean towns and villages, from glaciers & icebergs to verdant rainforest and the unforgettable Iguazu Falls, we were constantly stunned and amazed by the share scale, grandeur and beauty of Argentine.
On top of this, we quickly discovered how helpful and tourist friendly the Argentinian people are. Add good quality food and amazing wine to the mix and you can see how we fell in love with Argentina and her people.
Highlights for us included:
 El Calafate – being able to get so close to the glaciers and icebergs was breathtaking.
 Salta – a gem of a city surrounded by unbelievable natural beauty.
 Iguaza – simply stunning!
We would like to thank Ana, Clementina and everyone else who played a part in organising our trip. We don’t really want to single out any one individual as everyone was excellent!

I had an general idea of where I wanted to go but Neil ( our Kimkim guide) added a lot more depth and culture to the trip. he organized a guide for one of our trip suggested and brought tickets for a number of other stops that we would not have found on our own. The hotels were all nice and conveniently located. Two pieces of advise I would give to travelors - 1) be prepared for how long it takes to get anywhere by car ( Narrow roads and lots of campers means google is always wrong on ETAs). Also most places to eat close their kitchen at 8, even in the big cities so be prepared.

Margarita and her team were amazing. She planned a our trip to Colombia including Cano Cristales! Despite Cano being off the typical itinerary, it was a perfect plan! The plan was just right for us as we were travelling with a 6 year old. There was enough downtime for resting, while also options to add on more. The trip was tailor made for us with small private tours and all the tour guides were all prepared to guide us to kid friendly and vegetarian friendly options. The took out all the stress of trying to figure things out on our own. Thank you so much for a super time !

My husband and I had a fantastic time in Portugal and I think in large part due to the itinerary planned by Karenina. It was laid out beautifully, balancing between scheduled events/tours private or group and free time. Additionally, each hotel accommodation (4) and car rental process went smoothly. Finally, I loved the responsiveness and periodic check-in. I never had to worry because she provided ample information before our flight literally everything I needed to know from hotel, food recommendations, things to do, what to expect, etc. Definitely exceeded all my expectations! I would definitely recommend to others and use for future travel.

A terrific trip! We worked closely with Maria to plan an itinerary for a family of 4 (college age kids) that allowed for exploration and activity. Storywalking Italy were extremely helpful. When one person in our group injured their ankle, everyone at kimkim went out of their way to help us figure out where to be seen and get medical supplies, re-organize our trip, and even contacted the hotels they had booked for us to make sure we were in ground floor rooms! And the scheduled activities were wonderful - highlights included a food tour of Bari with Giorgio of Apulia Tours and a day-long bike trip from Lecce with Gonzalo of Salento Bici Tour. Highly recommend!

Lovely Family Trip to Portugal

Carmen helped us arrange a 10 day, 3 city trip to Portugal that encompassed everything we wanted to see within the country.

We got to do wine tasting, a food tour, day trips to historic places of interest, and a had time by the ocean. It was a great mix of activities and relaxation.

I appreciated having the planning all squared away and taken care of for us. (We even had the additional challenge of having English and Spanish speakers in our group and that was no problem to accommodate.) I would absolutely recommend both the destination and trip planning experience!

This is our second amazing trip with KimKim. We had a spectacular five days in Jordan exploring Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea. In particular, we really enjoyed hiking in Wadi Rum with Ahed, our Bedouin host. Ayuob was a great driver and guide as well teaching us about the culture and history of Jordan along the way. Big thanks to Mariam for planning such a memorable trip for us!

Thanos was easy to work with and amazing from start to finish. We had calls to discuss our interests and budgets and he tried to accommodate what we wanted. The places and accommodations he booked for us were all very good and the arranged transportation transfers from point to point really taken a lot of stress and time out of the system which makes it easier to enjoy the experience.

Rita was amazing to work with. She completely geared our trip to our interests and didn't overwhelm with hours of driving everyday. We were able to see some of the things which were a little bit off the beaten path, so were not overwhelmed with excessive tourists. The accommodations she arranged worked perfectly for our family of 4 (2 of whom are grown children so needed their own space). One day, weather didn't cooperate for our initial plan, and KimKim Team arranged for alternate suggestions and accommodations, taking the stress of our shoulders. We would use KimKim Team again.

In Porto, we were greeted at the airport by Ricardo. He drove for us all three days - which was nice. At each point he made sure to personally connect us with the next step. He even escorted us to the actual train platform when we left! Our first morning, Sara provided a historical walking food tour - ending at Taxca - where we were introduced to the bifana sandwich. We continued tasting bifanas throughout Portugal - Taxca was the best! Our hotel was riverfront and central for walking the city.
We toured the Quinta Da Pacheca vineyard, tasted wines and port, and had a beautiful lunch. Definitely a highlight and place I would like to visit again!
By the end of day 3, we had travelled by plane, train, automobile and boat!
When questions arose, Pedro and his team responded within minutes. I felt fully prepared and supported by the Kim Kim team.
Porto was definitely my favorite city! Loved hearing the live music throughout the city.
Other highlights from Portugal included Sintra, The Chapel of Bones, Lagos, boat ride through the grotto and Sangres for sunset.
Enjoyed the history and hotel in Lisbon. It definitely had more of a big city feel. Their practice of polishing the cobblestone sidewalks definitely made walking a bit harder and slippery. My favorite experience in Lisbon was Fado at Mesa de Frades Restaurant listening to Pedro de Castro play his Portuguese guitar! Amazing!
Wish I had more than our 10 days to spend in your beautiful country. Thank you Pedro for such a well planned visit!

We had an amazing trip to south of Albania! As we got so used to from the Kimkim team (and we are getting spoiled after the years), from the first contact with Ed to the final goodbye at the Tirana airport from "Nik" (Kreshnik), our guide and driver, all went great. The trip was as we envisioned in our request: explore as much as possible the "real" Albania, stay away from tourist traps and crowds and get to see how "real" people live. Nik was a treasure trove of history, culture, politics and everything else. He knows his country like back of his hand and he seems to know everyone (and everyone seems to know him....) so he/we were treated like locals. The only downside: we ran out of time (but that was out problem).
