We just returned from an unforgettable 8-day private tour in Morocco, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Traveling as a family of six, including teenagers and grandparents, we were a bit nervous about how everything would go, but it was absolutely great.
Planning with Said:
Before the trip even began, Imane was great to work with. After the plan was set, we were transferred to Said. I had a lot of questions during the planning process, and Said and Imane were always patient, responsive, and helpful. Said resolved every concern quickly, which gave me a lot of confidence.
Our Driver – Abdelghani:
Abdelghani was a great driver—extremely careful, professional, and thoughtful throughout the entire trip. We always felt safe on the road, which is so important, especially when we drove through challenging roads in sometimes snowy weather (I was super nervous and had probably reached out to Said about the snowy weather at least 3 times :). He was punctual, patient, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Always a great person to interact with.
Our Guide – Omar:
Omar was a great this trip! Young, energetic, and he made every moment engaging and fun. He connected with our teens, keeping them interested and involved. At the same time, he was incredibly helpful to our grandparents. One moment that really stood out was during a hike that turned out to be more challenging than expected—Omar went above and beyond, helping the grandparents to ensure they are safe. That level of care and dedication is truly appreciated by us. He was new to this route, but was trying hard to make the trip educational for us.
Local Guides - in different cities (Fez, Dades, Marrakech):
We had local guides in different cities and they have various level of knowledge and some spent more time sending us to shopping. We are okay with them because they were all new experiences and we got to learn how things work, but it may not be for everyone.
Overall Experience:
The itinerary was well-planned, and every detail was taken care of. We wholeheartedly recommend Omar and Abdelghani. They made our trip a memorable adventure. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Finland, everything was planned perfectly by Moonika! We loved staying at the wilderness resort, where all meals were included: a buffet breakfast and lunch, followed by a delicious three-course dinner each evening. The glass ceiling was incredible, looking up at the sky through the glass was such a fun and unique experience, and the hut was so cozy.

We also stayed at the Scandic Pohjanhovi in the city, which was a perfect stay as well, with a great breakfast buffet included. Every activity was enjoyable, and we truly loved the entire experience. We did so much, including a reindeer sleigh ride, dog sledding, a Northern Lights tour, a photoshoot at Santa’s Village, and a full day at Santa Park.

Emilia was our photographer and did an amazing job—she was wonderful with our kids and captured beautiful family photos. Nico went above and beyond searching for the Northern Lights, and even though we didn’t see them, the experience was still fun and memorable. All transportation was private, the drivers were punctual and excellent, and everything ran smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything! Moonika truly put together a seamless and unforgettable vacation for us.

SantaPark VEP Experience

The SantaPark VEP Experience was a highlight of our trip. Being indoors meant we didn't have to bundle up as much, which was a relief. My kids loved the shows, and they were so entertaining we ended up watching them twice. The craft activities and cookie-making were also a big hit!

We really enjoyed our week long trip to Morocco! Maryem did a great job with planning ahead of time and was easy to communicate with. Our driver Zaid was amazing and made every day fun including a spontaneous hike into the Atlas Mountains. The Marrakesh walking tour with Hamid was excellent - he is so knowledgeable and engaging. The cooking class at La Maison Arabe was so fun and informative - we really learned a lot from Wafa and Hayat.

The chosen hotels were all excellent - clean, comfortable and with great amenities. We had an unforgettable night in Agafay desert at the Orion Dome and a camel ride. Salut Maroc in Essaouira was by far one of the most beautiful hotel rooms we have ever seen.

When we wanted to take the culture back home with us, Hamid and Zaid took us to very reputable stores for our interests. We felt very safe and engaged the whole time. We are so grateful for the immense kindness we experienced on our journey and will definitely be back!

João and his team planned the perfect trip for us through KimKim. We came to him with some ideas of things we wanted to do and see in Portugal, explained to him the family dynamics of the trip and we would need accommodations and activities for three generations of our family. And finally, we complicated everything by scheduling this vacation over the Christmas holidays, knowing that some locations might be closed for the holiday as well, but those dates worked best for us, as that was when the kids were out of school.

João did an awesome job of planning everything for us. The hotels were wonderful. He managed to schedule all the activities that we asked to see (Sintra, Coimbra, Fatima, etc) and also planned a bunch of others for us that were perfect can’t miss events in Portugal that we hadn’t thought of ourselves – such as a Fado dinner. He kept us busy every day, which is just what we wanted, and all three generations in the family had an incredible time. All our drivers were great, but Ricardo and Pepe were really incredible. Super patient with the kids and answered every question from the adults as well as pointing out all kinds of interesting details along the way. I liked that we had the same driver for an entire region, and not just a different random person every day – we really got to know our drivers better, and they got to know us.

Our trip to the best of Morocco was terrific - a planned excursion that shared the cultural and historic highlights of Casablanca, Tanger, Fes, Desert and Marakesh! Ousamma, our driver, was the glue that held the trip together -- his flexibility to start each morning at our desired hour and get us to each of our destinations safely and knowledgeably was invaluable.

His knowledge of photogenic stops, tastes along the travel and venues was outstanding! He was a warm part of each day from luggage to check-in and all the points inbetween. Highly recommended!

For context, we have three school-age children: 14, 12 and 7. They are all experienced travellers and good walkers and put up with several multi-hour walking tours of cities and a multi-hour hike through the Monkey Fingers gorges. We did a small amount of crafts shopping, taking tours of leather, carpets, and skincare in Fes but spent more of our time on cultural tours of cities and sites plus some outdoors time in the gorges and desert.

Our driver, Said, was outstanding. He was positive and personable and a consistently good companion over the 9 days, making pleasant conversation or leaving us in silence as our mood warranted. He offered excellent recommendations for meals and a few sites for good views, but would enact whatever plan we wished. At every stop, from cafes to museums, he smoothed our way with his impressive linguistic skills (English, French, Arabic, Berber) and local knowledge. While we are experienced travellers, speak excellent French, and have always been on our own to date, we were grateful for his presence bridging the cultural distance and ensuring we made the most of situations and avoided mistakes.

Yassine was extremely helpful in booking the trip. We sent multiple emails back and forth refining our itinerary based on his recommendations and responses to our preferences. As we reflected on the trip during the flight home, we were pleased with the result. The accommodations ranged from good to amazing and the activities seem to have encompassed everything we wanted to do given our time constraints. No regrets ex-post.

Overall, we found the price quite reasonable given the level of service and accommodations. Restaurants were a little more expensive than we had expected. We all found the cuisine healthy and tasty, though by the end it became repetitive. One must also add the cost of frequent tipping. But these were small variations on top of the price through KimKim, which included hotels, driver, and multiple tours and which we felt was good value.

We were pleased and would recommend KimKim to others looking to travel to Morocco.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Farid as our private driver in Morocco. From the moment we arrived in Marrakech to our unforgettable journey out to the Sahara Desert, Farid was consistently prompt, courteous, and exceptionally professional.

He navigated busy city streets, winding mountain roads, and long desert stretches with complete confidence and skill, making every drive feel smooth, safe, and stress-free. His calm demeanor, reliability, and attention to detail immediately put us at ease. Farid was always early, impeccably organized, and thoughtful about our comfort - whether that meant adjusting stops, offering helpful local insights, or simply ensuring the ride was relaxing.

Beyond his driving skills, Farid’s kindness and warm personality truly set him apart. He was respectful, patient, and genuinely cared about making our trip special. His local knowledge enriched our experience, and his quiet professionalism made him an absolute pleasure to travel with.

If you are visiting Morocco and want a driver who is trustworthy, polished, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to excellent service, Farid is simply the best. We could not recommend him more highly and would gladly choose him again for any future trip.

Half-Day Guided Tour of Marrakech

We had a fantastic half-day tour in Morocco with Chafik, and he was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, he was warm, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, instantly making us feel comfortable and excited to explore. Chafik brought the history, culture, and daily life of Morocco to life with clear explanations, fascinating stories, and thoughtful context. If you’re thinking about going to Finland, I think you should go, and if you’re thinking about using KimKim / MonMon Travel, I think you should! I worked with Emerson & Lilla and they planned a great winter trip for my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 16, 13, and 11). They really handled organizing every step of the way (before and during the trip) and picked the best hotels, best companies / tour operators / tours, etc. They planned a better trip for my family than I could have planned alone, and it saved me a lot of time / headache to work with them to plan the trip. We spent one day in Munich on the way home and I joked to my family that I missed Lilla already. The biggest compliment I can give is that I will recommend Finland / KimKim / MonMon to my friends in real life.

I’m really rating a different experience to be 4 stars and I would probably rate the kennel experience listed here as 5 stars if I had gone. Due to weather, our originally booked experience was changed and we were given the option to go with the change or cancel for a refund. Due to weather and being tired from New Year’s the night before, we opted to cancel our trip to the kennel since given the option and then at the last minute, Lilla helped us organize a shorter husky ride at Santa’s Husky Rides - the kennel’s satellite location in Santa Claus Village (at this moment I loved Lilla - they wouldn’t let me book a guaranteed time slot myself but said I could walk in, but I thought to ask Lilla if she could get them to give me a time slot and she did and arranged our transportation to / from!). I think we would have liked to go out to the kennel (and you should do it if you can!) but if you can’t - I was very thankful for Lilla’s last minute help to book the shorter ride so we could still get a taste of it.

Our trip to Guatemala was exceptionally well planned and thoughtfully executed. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between culture, nature, and pace, allowing us to experience the country deeply without feeling rushed.

Highlights included Antigua, Lake Atitlán, and the incredible historical sites, all supported by knowledgeable local guides and smooth logistics throughout the journey.

A special thank you to our local specialist, Alex, who was attentive, responsive, and flexible from the planning stage through the trip itself. Even when small adjustments were needed, everything was handled quickly and professionally, which made the experience stress-free.

Overall, this was a memorable and very well-organized trip, and we would happily use Kimkim again for future travel.

Bucket list trip to see the Northern Lights was amazing with Eemil. We tracked this elusive spectacle for two nights and were able to see and photograph them briefly both nights. Reindeer Sleigh rides, Husky Sledding, Snowmobiling and Snowshoeing were also a blast! Bitter cold though at 19F below the normal cold (-21F on the coldest day) so rented clothes really helped!

Overall the trip was great. We had a ton of help from Ashley and she was very responsive during the trip when we wanted to change some plans or had questions. The places to stay she helped us choose were lovely. The private rides she set up for us were very timely. My only complaint is a couple of the guided trips were not what we expected. We did an all day private Phi Phi Island trip, our guide took us to 3 Islands and did a stop at another Island. The guide was pleasant as was the crew but the places we went (except for the snorkeling) were incredibly crowded. I understand the time of year is very busy but I hoped with a private trip we would have been offered options to go somewhere away from the crowds since we didn't have specific places we wanted to see. Our Bangkok food tour was similar. We went to China town which was incredibly crowded. Again our guide was great and found us excellent food but it was so busy there were few places to sit and we could barely walk through the crowds. As it was also a private trip, we would have been happy to be told that the usual places were very busy and been given the option to go somewhere less popular. In general we were happy but, when paying extra for private excursions, we would have appreciated more flexibility and been happy to not join the biggest possible crowds in order to go the most popular places. We didn't love Ao Nang, it was pretty but super busy with people, loud music and clubs, we wished we'd stayed at Railay Bay instead. We really loved the quiet of the jungle and lake stay at Khao Sok as well as the hiking in Chiang Mai to visit the Karin people's village. We bought the most beautiful handmade scarves there for souvenirs. Our favorite meal was the one we cooked at Ya's cooking school out of Krabi!

My son and I just returned from an 8 day trip in New Zealand. We had a wonderful time and Nats did an amazing job with preparing our itinerary. He arranged all of our activities, transportation, and accommodations. When the weather intervened and a couple of activities were cancelled, Nats was quick to communicate with us and suggest alternative options. New Zealand is a wonderful country to visit if you enjoy an active trip in beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend working with Nats if you plan to visit there.

All of the guides arranged by the agency were local experts, able to provide considerable information on the native flora and fauna of the national parks we visited, but I have to give a special shoutout to our guide in Patagonia, Nacho, who was just wonderful. He made our family feel like we were his most important clients, did great photography for us, and entertained us all day. HIGHLY recommend a full day private tour with him if it can be arranged.

I also must give a shout out to Riwal. We had a few hiccups on our trip, none of which was the agency's fault, but he took care of us all along the way. He went to bat for us with the hotel when they lacked hot water for over a full day, and arranged a partial refund for the inconvenience. He was kind and generous with his time. The full team at KimKim was great.

Hotel was undergoing renovation, which is much needed. However, they lied to the agency about hot water not being available. Said it was a "sector" issue. There was clearly construction going on and, after escalating to our agency after over 24hrs of no hot water, the agency sent a representative by in-person who confirmed not a sector issue. Because we escalated, they did have workers working on regaining hot water to our room until 2AM on Christmas Eve. In addition to the hot water issue, the ceiling of our room had clear water damage, the carpet was disgusting, beds were basic, and there was almost a 1" gap between the bottom of the room door and the floor. Patagonia is a very windy place so the wind would come through and move the shades around all night long. This "hotel" is more like a run down motel. I only hope the renovations are done properly as it could have potential, but lying to hotel guests is a complete NON-starter for me. Would never stay there again. Only positive I can give is the staff that ran the breakfast room downstairs was always welcoming.

This was my personal favorite as I enjoy climbing more than most things. Great trek to a vista overlooking El Nido and the bay. My dad and I did both routes in 20 minutes so that was the only downside, but we were hustling because of the rain making all the metal walkways a bit dangerous. But it was great if you’re fit and up for a challenge.

Our family of four (including two teenagers, ages 17 and 19) had the most incredible Christmas vacation in Spain. Over nine days, we traveled through Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, and Granada, and every detail of the trip was flawlessly coordinated by Coraima and her team.

Really enjoyed this trip! The sights, food, and activities were amazing and we want to go again! Pretty much everything went off without a hitch from arrival to departure. Monica was even able to adjust the plan halfway through to accommodate a sailboat trip.

There was a good variety of activities and the pacing was just right too. We felt like we did as much as we could while also not rushing between everything. The tour options Monika suggested felt like the best of the best, and we were provided a good selection of solo adventure options when we wanted to branch out on our own. 5 star visit for sure.

Glowworm Kayak Tour

This was a totally unique experience for me, I had seen the pictures of the glow worms online but that does not compare to the experience of actually seeing them in person. This tour takes you into some small caves where you get up close and personal, I think I was within inches of the glow worms at one point, and it was so cool!!! The guides were really wonderful and they all knew their stuff. Plus, the kayaking itself was pretty easy. Overall a fantastic time!

Everyone said the Milford Sound was a must-see destination, and I completely agree. Our tour guide was funny and informative, and the small group size was perfect for us.
