Of the places we went Tortuguero was the most off the grid, amazing and full of wildlife.
The Manatus hotel that included breakfast, lunch and dinner, and beautiful grounds, and great staff + boat tours, was a winner.
We enjoyed all the places we went in Costa Rica and all the places we stayed, and all of the tours and transfers from different places, everything was arranged and carried out to plan.
The El Tigre Waterfalls exploration, hike and horseback ride, was one of our favorite tours.
We really appreciate the KimKim team and the other related tour providers for making our trip a success.

I had a wonderful and memorable time in Madeira, in particularly in Funchal. Marina did an exceptional job in selecting my hotels, activities, and guides. I spent three unforgettable days with Lido, from Green Devil Safari. I left the island with tears in my eyes because I wasn't sure that people as nice, accommodating, and generous as Lido still existed in this world. Both Marina and Lido were instrumental in creating memories that will last me a lifetime and beyond. I can't thank them enough. I will be back to the island soon, and I won't hesitate to hire the services of Marina and hopefully Lino. I want to thank them both from the bottom of my heart. We spent 7 days in Guatemala visiting Antigua and Lake Atitlan organised through Columbus. The service from Cathy whilst creating our itinerary was prompt and very flexible. Her communication all the way through was perfect.
Best of all was our guide for the week-JJ. He was so knowledgable, friendly flexible and couldn't do enough to help. We were truly sorry to say goodbye to him. We would very much recommend using Columbus travel through KimKim

We had a fantastic time in Spain! Helena did an excellent job collaborating with us to ensure the trip suited our trip preferences, including everything from type of activities to hotel accommodations to pace of travel and beyond. She was highly responsive both during the planning process and the actual trip itself. In particular, we appreciated how flexible she was, especially when real-time challenges came up such as us getting lost and arriving late to several tours or missing our private transfer to certain locations. Her quick thinking and bias for action helped resolve these hiccups quickly, which we really appreciated. We also liked that she gave us sufficient free time throughout the trip to explore in a more unstructured way, and there were plenty of suggestions on fun attractions to visit, restaurants to eat at, and night life to check out that enriched our experience. Overall, we enjoyed collaborating with Helena and would recommend her to anyone looking to travel to Spain!

My husband and I took a trip to Greece, and though our coordinator was given a limited amount of time to plan the trip, Thanos did an incredible job! Not only was he knowledgeable and accommodating, he created a trip that was exceptionally well balanced between our interests.

Thanos met us when we arrived in Athens, taking us to a small local café in Plaka where we were able to watch the sunset over the temple of Hephaestus. We were able to discuss the finer points of our trip over coffee and he was able to give us good guidance on each of the steps in our journey. He even walked us to the Thesi on theater that evening.

We spent time in Athens, Paris, Naxos, and Santorini. Each of the guides that he had chosen for individual experiences were passionate about sharing the history, culture, or food of the region. We had an excellent time on each of the excursions

Adventures included;
- An evening at Thission Cinema, open since 1933, an outdoor theater with a beautiful view of the acropolis in the background
– acropolis and food tour in Athens. Our guide Rhea, was kind, and passionate about the history of Athens and the Acropolis.
- several self-guided days, where we took tours out to Delphi , or sought out our own adventures with guidance from Thanos
– Scuba diving in Paros, with ample time to explore beaches, small towns, historical sites,
- Catamaran tour and water sports
- Santorini: exploring local festivals, the prehistoric archeological site at Akrotiri, winery tour, and hiking the Caldera

We couldn’t have imagined a better adventure. Thanos was sure to check in on us at each stop, and had organized beautiful accommodations and low stress transitions from each location to the next. we were truly thankful for the balance between time to relax, and a wide variety of new experiences.

X-ta-sea diving was absolutely amazing to dive with. Everyone in the group was professional and helpful when we had our dives. Vagilis and Yani did an excellent job keeping us comfortable and ensuring we were safe while having a fantastic experience. Additionally Arete helped Laila navigate her first time in the water and ensured she felt comfortable navigating her diving equipment and taking her first few breaths. Laila loved the dive, and is very interested in certifying now because of our experience!

They knew the places to stay and where to go and made sure to find a way to add the places I really wanted to see in Galapagos. I’m not someone to write reviews on a regular basis and I save them for services that truly deserve them.

In this case this review won’t do justice to how phenomenal the experience has been from our trip and that truly is because of Lacey who arranged our whole entire itinerary.

Lacey fully understands the term going above and beyond! From the get go she listened to what we wanted to do and made any amendments that we requested when it came to accommodations and excursions.

Importantly she was prompt with communication which gave a sense of security we were in good hands.

During our trip she maintained constant contact and checking in with us to make sure everything was going accordingly.

Her team that she works with as guides were just incredible. Tommy, Lily, Sy and Pom deserve immense praise based on their knowledge and the fashion in which they show you around all the glorious places within Vietnam and Thailand!

This is the second time we’ve used KimKim to book a trip and we will continue to use them for all our upcoming travel plans and adventure.

From beginning to end our trip to Greece was perfect. Tasos, KimKim, Travel 12, were all so helpful.

Tasos, from day one was extremely easy to work with and responsive . The itinerary he created for a family of five (2 adults, 18, 14 and 7 year old) was PERFECT!!! Hotels, restaurants, excursions, all the people we interacted with.

Athens, hustle, bustle and history.
Naxos, relaxing, beautiful beaches and memorable cooking class.
Santorini, views, water, boat, volcano and sunsets.

This was the highlight of our family trip. You could not ask for anything more from the mom and daughter team. The were so welcoming into their beautiful home. A traditional home in a quaint village. This was our first time working with KimKim and it was a great experience working with Eric. He helped book hotels, car, and tours in Iceland that met our interests, time frame, and budget. We really enjoyed several of the hikes and activities that he recommended/booked for us (Glymur waterfall - awesome!, Reykjadalur hike with hot springs, and the Hjorleifshofdi Cape + Cave). We also really loved the Puffin tour at Ingolfshofdi cape - such a great experience with a small family business. I would use KimKim again!

What a perfect family vacation! Liz planned a wonderful trip that enabled us to experience the best of Australia and New Zealand. She was very responsive and worked well with us to put together a memorable trip for all!

We had an amazing time and special thanks goes to Vickie for booking us in to our activities at just the right times so we kept missing the rush of people, which was a big concern for my family trip. Just returned from an amazing trip to Greece, organized through Kimkim with assistance from Eleni and Afroditi. The team put together a wonderful itinerary customized to our interests. Everything on our itinerary was wonderful, and all of the logistics were smooth, making the trip so much easier and less stressful than if we arranged everything ourselves. The accomodations were beautiful, too..., like the hotel in Santorini with the infiniti pool looking out into the Aegean, or the boutique hotel in Chania in a historical old buiding... every accommodation was exceptional.

In particular, the service from Afroditi was beyond amazing. We ended up experiencing some bad luck on our trip, with a heat wave so intense that major tourist attractions were closed mid-day due to safety concerns, along with our daughter getting sick. Afroditi was so responsive in real time providing us with alternatives (like extra beach days to get out of the heat). Additionally, at one point we boarded the WRONG FERRY which took us to the wrong island. This was completely our fault by the way, the logistics and instructions from the team at Kimkim were spot on... While we were stuck on the wrong ferry, Afroditi made alternate arrangements so we had transportation and accommodations when we arrived, along with transportation back to the correct island so we could resume our itinerary. Since we had no wifi on the ferry, I don't know what we would have done without Afroditi's help in that situation. It was so incredibly reassuring to know that when something went wrong, that we had an expert and an advocate there ready to help us out!

I absolutely would not hesitate to use Kimkim again for any and all future trips. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Deb really heard and understood what I had envisioned for this trip for our family of four and she expertly curated a memorable and impactful adventure, far exceeding my wildest expectations. Our favorite experience was the photo Safari at the Pangolin Lodge. Deb and her support staff were 'with us' behind the scenes every single step of the way, allowing us to travel comfortably and securely thru South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

We love to travel around and book different excursions, hikes , cooking classes, wine tours etc. I will NEVER plan that type of vacation by myself again. Especially when spending time and money, being connected with great hotels, knowing that sites are closed when we thought we could see them, getting us tickets and wonderful guides , rewriting our itinerary based on what we would like to do, saying something if what we thought was managable would not be......JUST an amazing service. Our entire trip was truly wonderful. We loved the specialized and personal touch of our local Slovenia guide.

Ilyace our guide was great! We felt so comfortable knowing he was always there for us with advice and local knowledge. We had two local guides while in Morocco for tours. Henan in Marrakech was so knowledgeable and easy to schedule however we wanted our tour to go. She led our food tour (and had such wonderful relationships with the vendors) as well as our walking tour of marrakech the next day. We had another gentlemen in Fes (sorry I am losing his name currently) who was great. I think the nature of that day was a little "sales" driven so while we enjoyed it we did feel a little pushed on purchases. We probably would have eliminated Casablanca (although the mosque was beautiful) and preferred to stay in Rabat or maybe the first night in Tangiers. All of the riads were unique, comfortable and hospitable and we would not have found these on our own. These really made the time in Morocco extra special. The hot air balloon add on was a must do and it happened to fall on our son's birthday so it was an extra special surprise for him. We just loved our time in Morocco and Kim Kim made it super easy to enjoy.

Such a special place led by such hospitable staff. We stayed here on my son's birthday and after a very early morning hot air ballooning followed by a city tour and then camel ride we were happy to enjoy dinner at the riad. Everything was absolutely delicious and they even arranged to have a birthday cake for my son at the end of the meal.

Amazing palace. The finest of details. What it lacked in views from the rooms it made up for in extra luxuries of amenities. Rooftop bar was lovely. Dinner service was expensive but expected in a hotel of this calibur.

The transport everywhere was so challenging for the driver and he never failed to amaze us with his skills and know how!

Guided Tour of Fez Medina

Definitely saw a lot of things and enjoyed immensely. Just a little pushy on the sales by both our guide and merchants. The luncheon restaurant was amazing this day but it ended up being the exact same food that we would later enjoy with our host family. So maybe just a little communication to differentiate a little.
