Everything that Francesca planned for us was highly enjoyable from the drivers to the accommodations and especially the tour guides she assigned to us.

I highly recommend Francesca and KimKim. We traveled at the peak of the season and would never had been able to accomplish as much as we did had I planned this on my own.

Colombia was one of the most fantastic places we have visited, a cultural melting pot that is energetic, exciting and full of promise. During our trip we visited Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena, with each feeling like their own unique cultural microcosm. We visited art museums, underground cathedrals, immense beer halls, walked in an energetic pride parade, played Tejo, drinking with locals, walked graffiti covered sidewalks, snorkeled in blue water, and danced the night away in sweaty bars with giant grins on our faces. We barely scratched the surface in our 10 days here, so we look forward to coming back to visit with guides Andrea, Sol and Isaac and the excellent organisation and planning of trip curator Margarita so we can see even more of what this paradise has to offer.
Margarita planned an amazing time for us, with all of our wishes and limitations in mind. She was always available and matched us with guides who were kind, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. We felt looked after at every turn, they went above and beyond.

This was our first time booking with a travel agent ever and we would do it again in a heartbeat! Dalia was an absolute pleasure to work with! All of the tours that she booked were spectacular and she was available whenever we needed.

The top three activities for me were the Hanging Bridges, the rafting, and the afternoon on the catamaran. Thanks for suggesting such great excursions.

This is the second trip we have planned with Tasos at KimKim. We did a 50th anniversary trip for our parents in 2019 to Greece with the immediate family of 5. This year we traveled to Italy with grandchildren as well. Both trips were outstanding! We highly recommend Taso’s services for he is patient, knowledgeable, extremely accommodating, and timely in his responses,. We have referred KimKim to family and friends!

Villa Sabolini was exactly what we had hoped for! Beautiful grounds and views overlooking the Tuscan countryside. On our first night, we enjoyed dinner in the bar area with their very accommodating staff. The pool offered a quiet reprieve after a day of cooking and touring. Breakfast had so many delicious choices and the staff were wonderful! Both of our rooms offered nice views and amenities. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the two-bedroom suite was not working during our 3 night stay.

Everything was great. We liked the hotels and appreciated the reliableness of the transportation. We also very much enjoyed our local guides.
It was nice to know Roberta was available if we needed anything.
Our guide in Lake Como (name?) was a little much. She talked a lot.
The rest of our guides are the trip were more easy going and we enjoyed that.
Sergio in Lake Garda was very easy going and enjoyable.
We also really like Serena in Siena. She did a good job of concisely explaining a lot to us. We learned a lot from her.
Sara, our hiking guide in Greve was great. We had a very nice, relaxing hike.
Andrea is Cinque Terre was also great. He took us on good hike and was able to get us acquianted with all the villages in one day.
Overall it was an amazing trip and everything went smoothly.
Really, the only complaint we had was the seat arrangements is the van. We did not like the seats facing each other. We preferred to have the seats all facing forward. It got fixed for a couple rides but then went back to facing each other for the last two rides.
Thanks for everything. We will defintiely recommned KimKim to our friends and family.

Magical Magical Magical!! Reta, the owner and her staff were amazing! This 200year old vineyard/ farm was so charming and special! I’ve traveled with KimKim before; all experiences have been exceptional.

This trip covered Zimbabwe, Botswana, Johannesburg & Soweto.

This trip required lots of work, coordinating & communication with more than one person & at several meeting points ( which wasn’t always smooth). I’m sure KimKim can address this without issues. However, know that coordinators simply want to get it right as they get to know you & your interests. The end of the trip ran smoothly based on my continued communication with Petru, the coordinator.

All lodges, staff & meals were wonderful. One lodge was dated, but staff & meals were exceptional. The camp had lovely staff and exceptional meals, despite frigid temperatures. Early morning departures for game drives could be improved, perhaps a later hour. Do note that it was all inclusive.

I made a stop in Johannesburg to learn about its history. I spent time in the city proper & in Soweto. The guides were exceptional.
A meaningful time spent with community members. This was a walking & tuk tuk tour.

If you love nature this trip may be for you. Prepare for frigid temperatures and remaining sedentary as the day is either spent on a jeep or a boat with bumpy rides. If you are the active type, you’ll need to set up your own routine. There was one Safari walk & another at Victoria Falls, which were greatly desired. Thanks.

We had a bad experience with a substandard lodge suggested by kimkim. Our concerns and criticisms were brushed aside rather than addressed. I would not entrust kimkim with my travel plans again.

We had a great trip. Things to note, there was certainly a lot of driving but Terry did a great job of providing us plenty of stops to break up the trip. Our hotel in Vik was nice, we did think breakfast was included but they said it was not. The coffee machine in the room was amazing! It was warm in the room, and because of the black out curtains leaving the windows open didn’t really help much. The zipline tour was fun, kids and adults loved it. Alexandra was the guide and she was awesome. The glacier hike was so fun, it was the only time we really needed multiple layers, otherwise the cool weather was very tolerable. Swava was an our guide for the glacier, he gave us a lot of history on the trip over. We did take the trip out to the glacier park o our own, it was an 1 1/2 drive from Vik was is was worth it. The hike to the glacier was easy but nice and the pictures were awesome. I have to also mention every public bathroom was so clean and there were plenty of them. The geothermals pools were awesome. We loved Fontana, we ran into the cold lake a few times. We also sat in the sauna and steam rooms. We loved the rye bread making, it was so good with the smoke trout. Our second hotel was in the middle of no where but it was beautiful. It would have been a great spot to see the northern lights. The people who ran the inn were so nice and breakfast was amazing. The snorkeling adventure was another great experience. The fresh water you could just drink! It was cold but not unbearable. Interesting how many of the tour guides we had were not locals from Iceland but transplants. Many spend the “summer” there and then go to another place to spend “summer” somewhere else. Listening to peoples life stores were interesting. Our snorkel guide was from the Netherlands, he was super helpful and had a great respect for the land. Our third hotel was our least favorite, but it was big. The room was actually oky, the views were amazing, but the common areas needed some TLC. It ended up being okay, the girls went in the hot tub when we arrived. And we did have our own room…Harmen and I. The lava cave was really fun. Our guide was so passionate about the history and geology of the area. Her name is short was Eve. She was a lot of fun and the girls had a blast. The waterfall area up near the lava cave was breath taking, we have so many amazing photos. Our two night in Reykvik were so fun. The girls loved the city and did like being near the middle of town. I think the first night was very difficult to sleep because we were too close to a bar. I would think i better to stay a little further. We spent a lot of time walking f around, we visited the church and some parks down near the water. It was a great place to get souvenirs too! The ATV ride was fun. I am glad we moved it from the departure date, it was nice to have that morning to relax and I think it was have been a bit of a rush getting to the airport. It wall worked out and your staff in Iceland was easy to work with. Everyone was so responsive and helpful. The locals were so friendly. We felt so safe and welcome. This was a trip of a lifetime and an amazing investment for our family. The twins had a so much fun!

We were very fortunate to use Kim Kim for our trip. Mathia, our consultant, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He planned every detail and the process was seem less. We will definitely be using Kim Kim again!!!

We started out with Sergio and he was amazing. He was very responsive and helped us plan an amazing trip for a very diverse group - we had vegans in the group and we also had some elderly people, including my dad who had mobility challenges. He also helped select restaurants. We were celebrating a life event and Serendipity scheduled an amazing private dinner at La Divina Comida in San Jose. I could not have been happier with the restaurant and private room. It exceeded our expectations. Sergio laid the framework for managing this diverse group. Charlotte wasn’t as responsive as Sergio (I would have liked her to respond to messages more quickly) but the transition was pretty smooth overall.

Our guide was Willy. He was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly and flexible. He handled our diverse group so well and the trip was really seamless. At times serendipity brought in additional guides to allow the group to enjoy activities despite some mobility challenges. Our favorite activities were the hanging bridges, the raft tour, the catamaran cruise and horseback riding. The only constructive feedback I have is to not do the lava hike in Arenal on the same day as the hanging bridges. We ended up shifting toe La Fortuna Waterfall hike to another day because we were exhausted after the hanging bridges and lava hike - and ran out of time. There’s no way we could have handled all 3 activities on the same day.

We would definitely recommend Serendipity and would work with them again.

We loved the hot springs. We had a nice room On the fourth floor but the first floor rooms my relatives had weren’t as nice. The hotel was very stingy with towels and the shower had no water pressure. It took forever to bathe and the water was never warm. If you lost your room key (a plastic card), they charged $10. Toiletries were cheap. The food at breakfast was decent but we ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it wasn’t great. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

This cruise was spectacular. The food and drinks were good and plentiful, the catamaran clean and beautiful, the swimming cove pristine. We saw whales and dolphins, a double rainbow and beautiful sunset. This was a magical end to our trip.

Horseback Riding Beach Tour

We loved the horseback ride on the beach. The sights were beautiful. The beaches were practically empty and the guides took great photos. However, I had to knock off a star because we had a horrific experience getting back to the resort. We were driven around for almost an hour only in a crowded van to return to the horseback riding place. The driver then refused to drive us back to the resort and we had to beg to get taken back.

Private Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve Guided Hike

We loved the cloud forest and wished we had more time there! We saw lots of wildlife including a quetzal, three wattled bellbird, capuchins, and agouti. The trail was walkable and the views great. I wish we had more time in Monteverde.

The hanging bridges was possibly our favorite activity of the trip. Warning: the bridges are a bit scary. But the views are incredible. We saw lots of wildlife - spider monkeys, pit vipers, and lots of birds. The lush rain forest is classic Costa Rica. We thought the lava hike of Arenal Volcano was challenging - a tough activity to do after the hanging bridges. The views were pretty but the path was tough for our group. We ended up shifting the La Fortuna waterfall to the next day.

This was a very interesting experience. Our tour guide was great and we loved learning about chocolate and coffee making. We preferred the Chocolate part of the experience because the coffee grown at this location isn’t actually the coffee sold or tasted during the tour. The best coffee is grown at higher elevations. It’s also quite hot and there are lots of mosquitos!

This was the 1st time that we booked our trip with kimkim. I was bit skeptical initially since I never heard of them before.
I worked with Rachel (Sao Paulo) to plan our entire trip that included visit to Rio, Iguazu falls and Amazon.

It was such a pleasant experience to plan the trip with Rachel. She is fluent in English, and she was always pleasant regardless of the numbers of the changes that were requested. Everything was planned without any hiccups. All the hotel accommodation and lodging were to our satisfaction. All the tour guides were excellent.

She even accommodated our last-minute request to include the visit to Iguazu falls, handled luggage issues when going to Amazon and was very accommodating with request to visit Christ second time since the 1st time was completed washed out due to heavy rain. She went above and beyond. I'm greatly appreciative. She wanted us to leave with a such a wonderful memory. We did, Rachel. THANK YOU!!!!

Alvaro was extremely good with making all my arrangements which were last minute. Everything ran very smoothly and according to my itinerary. All the bookings for transfers were with credible local guides who were friendly and very helpful and thoughtful. All in all an excellent service

We had a very nice trip to Ireland on a self-guided tour. Dean and his team handled all of the reservations. We were satisfied with the accommodations and the bookings they arranged. We really enjoyed the fly fishing and golf day in Killarney National Park. We decide not to cycle in Dingle as the roads were very narrow and the weather was rainy and windy on our scheduled days. We would certainly recommend Dean and his team for booking a tour in Ireland.

We enjoyed the self-guided tour and having the B&B booked for us. Driving was a little nerve racking with the narrow roads, but we liked the freedom.

We had a nice rental car that was automatic. It was a little scary with the narrow roads.

Fabio put together a perfect trip for me, my husband and our grandson. It was just as we requested. We were very busy and saw all the fun and important sights. Everything went like clockwork.
All of our drivers were on time and very good. Some were friendlier than others but they all knew how to drive safely through the crazy, crazy Italian traffic. Our best drivers were Bruno who took us to Pompeii and then arranged a delicious pasta lunch at Cuomo’s in Gragnano and Stefano who took us to Volterra, and Gimgnano plus a lunch at an unique winery in a beautiful setting.
The Hotel Kraft in Florence with the swimming pool, beautiful rooftop terrace with views of Florence and superior breakfasts was the best. The CC Palace in Rome was very nice as well. The Hotel Mignon in Sorrento was charming inside but lacking in attention to detail on the terrace and breakfasts.
We had such a great time which was due in part to arrangements and timing for tickets, tour guides and drivers.

Fabio was always available for any questions or concerns and responded quickly. I really enjoyed working with him.
