Very beautiful riad! Breakfast limited. Have to ask for eggs specifically . Otherwise, they are not served with other items

Tight room for 3 people. Had to wait for a long time for warm water in the shower. All bathroom got flooded after a shower. Not a great bathroom design. This stay was the least enjoyable.

Great accommodations!! Very spacious and beautifully decorated room with all amenities.

Conveniently located hotel. Breakfast is good, much more diverse than in other hotels and riads. Some issue with flooding in showers. Very good water pressure in showers. Comfortable beds. Bottled water was provided. One issue we had in the room was a towel hanging in the closet leftover from somebody else’s previous stay and opened and half-used vanity set. Overall decent hotel.

Beautiful gardens and museums

This tour was supposed to be 5.5 hours, but was less than 3. A bit disappointing. We were in Marrakesh on Friday and had no idea that some main markets would be closed. The tour should have known about it and substituted markets with something else. The guide was good, but not as good as the one in Fes.

The drive was a lot of fun. Farid took us to all places where they film movies and shows. We loved it.

Great views at stops, but turned out to be a very long day. Did not get to see Rose Valley. Got to hotel very late, barely in time for dinner

ATV rides were super fun. The guys at the place took great care of us. The ride might have taken more than an hour. Also it is not that close to dessert camp, so depending on the plans for the day, it is better to arrange for earlier departure from the camp

Sand boarding was great

Dessert was definitely the highlight of the trip. It was not quite clear when we had to be there to do the camel ride to see sunset. We were a bit concerned about logistics and skipped some planned stops on the way to make sure we get there onetime. In general, it would be helpful to have an idea how long each stop should take and what time we need to be at final destination for the day. We skipped lunches almost every day and it did not seem possible to fit sit-down lunch into our daily schedule. We did not want to, but if we did, we would need to skip some stops and most likely would get to hotels rather late.

Very interesting tour led by Moustafa. Highly recommend this guide.

Volubilis was a very interesting site. We spend quite a bit of time walking around the ruins. Did not hire a guide. Walking in Moulay Idriss was a bit confusing. It was not very straightforward to find the terraces. Meknes was nice for a short stop.

Another beautiful place in the heart of Marrakesh.

Although this is only a stopping point on the route to Marrakesh, it was a very special and beautiful hotel at which one could spend 2 nights, with a day of rest by the pool. This was the best hotel of the trip!

In this rustic desert setting, the guest tents are air-conditioned (but only during the night!!!!) and have a good shower and bath. Only USB outlets to charge a phone so we had to charge in the main lodge. Evening sunset and morning sunrise are epic and you are treated to wonderful authentic music (drums and castanets) after a very nice dinner. Loved it! I suggest this is a ONE NIGHT STAY ONLY as there is not much to do during the day in the extreme heat (unless you are a dune buggy / dune surfing thrill seeker) Great staff. Very kind and helpful with everything.

Typical Business/Tourist type hotel - very comfortable, good breakfast.

One of the few Mosques non-Muslims are allowed to tour. Very big and opulent - great chance to take dramatic photos!

We had an amazing stay at Riad Chems Bleu, a beautiful hidden gem tucked within the streets of Essaouira’s medina. The quiet location was a wonderful surprise, opening up to a space that felt like a welcoming, light-filled home. Our room was spacious and filled with natural light, with a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard that made it even more special. The riad’s plant-filled courtyard created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the rooftop offered beautiful views of the beach in the distance. All in all, it was one of our favorite stays, and we truly wished we could have stayed longer.

We had a lovely stay at Riad La Croix Berbère, perfectly located in the heart of Marrakech’s old medina. The riad is beautifully designed with warm details, inviting lounge areas, and a spacious rooftop terrace overlooking the city, the perfect place to unwind after exploring. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and breakfast each morning was delicious and generous. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, a wonderful stay that combined comfort, hospitality, and a truly authentic Marrakech experience.

We had a lovely stay at Kasbah Tiziri. The Kasbah was stunning, with beautifully renovated interiors and exteriors. No expense was spared, and every finish was thoughtfully chosen, creating a serene escape that perfectly blended relaxation, culture, architecture, and food. The owners were by far the kindest and most welcoming hosts, sparking wonderful conversations and sharing stories that made us feel truly at home. They offered great recommendations and made our stay even more memorable. Our room was beautiful, with exceptional attention to detail in the furnishings, layout, and design. The meals were delicious, offering a range of traditional Moroccan dishes along with a few creative surprises that stood out from other stays. The courtyards, garden, and rooftop were perfect places to relax and unwind, each offering peaceful views of the surrounding landscape. It was truly a special and memorable stay.

We had an incredible stay at Sahara Stars Luxury Camp, a beautiful and scenic desert retreat. Our room was stunning, with thoughtfully chosen furnishings, attention to detail, and air conditioning for added comfort. The bathroom was clean and spacious, though the drainage was a bit slow, nothing that took away from the experience. The hospitality and service were wonderful, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious with plenty of options. The evening entertainment was a true highlight, featuring live music around the campfire under the stars. Waking up early to catch the sunrise was by far the best part. Walking into the desert and climbing the dunes to watch the first light was unforgettable. Sunset was equally magical, with comfortable lounge seating perfectly positioned to take it all in. All in all, a beautiful stay and easily one of our favorites from the trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Farouzi Fes, a quiet and tucked-away spot in the heart of the old medina. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The main seating area was stunning, showcasing beautiful tile work and traditional Moroccan details. Breakfast was delicious, with a generous assortment of options served each morning. The location was ideal, right in the midst of the medina, making it easy to step out and explore the surrounding streets and nearby sites. All in all, a truly great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Hicham, the perfect start to our trip in Chefchaouen. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The rooftop terrace offered a beautiful view over the town square, a perfect spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, a lovely stay in an ideal location for exploring Chefchaouen on foot.

Orientation was nice; we were briefed on the trip itinerary and the general flow of each day. The walk itself was great, as Ali showed us different parts of Chefchaouen, offering a scenic walk and some informative insights.

Great location; close to the metro stop, shopping and restaurants. Excellent breakfast choices for an American traveling in Japan.

We went to Osaka Castle in the morning - very impressive, and then walked and took public transport to the sky-high views. Very nice. Then Ursula took us to a famous shopping area where we bought things to take home.

The Peace Memorial is something everyone should see. It was heartbreaking to see the pain and suffering of so many Japanese people. It was a beautiful day, and after the museum we enjoyed walking the grounds, and got to see school children bringing chains of cranes to the memorial dedicated to a girl who died as a result of her injuries. It was a very meaningful experience.

Ursala took us to a temple area, and then to a beautiful garden area developed by a famous Japanese actor of the early 1900s. It was a lot of walking, but that is fine with us. The tea ceremony was definitely a highlight of our time in Japan. I had no idea I would be dressed in a kimono; it was a detailed experience and we really enjoyed it!! I was a bit nervous about getting to the train station in time to retrieve our luggage and get on the train to Hiroshima. Ursula stayed with us at the tea ceremony location to be sure we got where we needed to be and on time.

Ursala met us at the train platform; she communicated that her train had been delayed. Kyoto was HOT; and we enjoyed the tour and took enough breaks to make it enjoyable.

I liked the transport; we visited the museum and did a cool Virtual Reality tour of climbing Mt. Fuji. We didn't see Mt. Fuji (it was cloudy), but Peter did all he could for us to have a good experience. The cable car to a viewing site was great.

Lots of areas of Tokyo were covered, we enjoyed the Sumo Show, and were amazed at the Anime area - we've never seen anything like it!

The day we took this tour turned out rainy at times, but Peter was a great guide. The museum was interesting; he was able to show us so many part of Tokyo!!

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was cozy and inviting. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was outstanding with personal service. Our favorite place we stayed during a 9 day trip.

Good location. We did have a bit of a fiasco with the key code to the building and room. Which resulted in us being locked out every time we left. Fortunately they did answer the phone and were able to reissue the codes. However, it was every single time we had to get back in. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean.

Quaint hotel in the country side. Very clean. We ate both dinner and breakfast there and it was good.

Great hotel in a quiet area. Perfect for walking down to the Candeleria neighborhoods. The chefs were amazing and the front desk staff were always very helpful and patient. You’ll definitely want to bring ear plugs because the walls are thin, but we’re always prepared for that so it wasn’t a problem.

Very nice hotel off the beaten path. It was a nice place to rest between cities with great views from the restaurant area.

The location was perfect because it was walking distance to everything we needed for food and shopping. The rooftop pool and restaurant worker perfect for our family. The staff was very kind, helpful, and service was great. We want to come back.

A must thing to do on Santorini. Our crew took care of all of our needs and took us to beautiful locations. The tour included a delicious Greek barbecue. There was plenty of time to swim and snorkel.

Constantina started off by giving us a complete tour of the farm and what they grow. The view from the farm was amazing. We helped prepare a luncheon with all fresh food right from the farm. While waiting for the food to cook in an open oven, Constantine and Nikkos entertained us with the history of Naxos. It was a great way to hear about Greek cuisine while drinking home made Rose wine.

We had Alexander take us all over Mykonos island. He took us to areas of the island far away from where tourists usually go. Fantastic photo opportunities.

Maria was our guide for six hours. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Athens.

This hotel is a DUMP. Do not be fooled by the website. It may have been nice serval years ago, but it is not only completely broken-down, but many of the items touted on their website are lies: 1. Their description said “Bathrooms… come equipped with bathrobes and slippers.” This is not true. No bathrobes or slippers are provided. In fact, we were only allowed one towel every two days, and only one pool towel for our entire stay. 2. Their description said, “an indulgent Champagne breakfast is included”. This is not true. Champaign was not provided, and the selection was very basic, including options like a 1-egg “omelet” with nothing in it or corn flakes with milk. 3. The website shows breakfast being served on outdoor tables with cushioned chairs and white tablecloths. Instead, the tables were rickety and badly peeling, and the chairs were both broken and without cushions. 4. Their website states that is “a pool bar that serves drinks throughout the day.” This is also not true. No bar. No drinks. No service. 5. The website advertises the Moonlit Suite as having an “outdoor private HOT tub”. While there is an outdoor “tub”, the water was ice cold, it was dirty and the jets did not work. 6. The website says there is a Porter. This is also not true. 7. The room material noted that we should not drink the water but stated that two bottles of water would be delivered daily. That was not true. When we asked about water, we were told we could buy some at a store across the street. 8. The room material noted that each room has a mini bar. Again, this is a lie. 9. The website shows a small but clean luxury resort. Instead, we arrived to find loose wiring, broken tables and chairs, missing or stained and torn cushions, haphazard painting, rusted fixtures, mostly dead plants, an abundance of BLACK MOLD in the bathrooms and overall lack of maintenance. 10. The pool was full of algae. I could go on and on but you get the idea. DON'T STAY HERE and SHAME ON THEM!!!

This was a ton of fun and a great way to explore the streets of "Old Town". The description made it sound like a few small snacks and drinks but it was actually a lot of food that culminated in a full sit-down dinner with our small tour group (maybe 12 people).

My husband didn't want to do this and we almost skipped it. Would have been a shame. Ended up being the highlight of our trip. The location was charming. The owners were welcoming and engaging. The class itself was relaxed and fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Large hotel filled with large tour groups. Must be something more quaint in Sorrento. Did have a good location.

This place was fabulous. We were upgraded to a room with a pool that was just great.

This was a great full day boat tour around the island. It was a completely different experience than what was noted on our itinerary, so we did not come as prepared as we would of liked to.

This day was confusing. Driver picked us up and was also the guide. She did a good job, but at one point tells us the trip is going to cost us an extra 100 euros because it is going too long. We started on time, we were back to the van when we were supposed to be and we followed the itinerary as planned. The wine tasting made the schedule to long and we ended up only getting 30 minutes in Positano which was disappointing. Had to pay 80 in cash at end of tour.

The Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa was absolutely incredible. The setting is stunning with beautiful rivers running through and excellent amenities. The service was top-notch, making our stay truly memorable.

The Local Flavors Cooking Class was excellent. What made it outstanding was the interaction with two students who were training in the travel and tourism industry. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with locals and see a different side of Costa Rica beyond the usual tourist experiences.

If you are healthy enough to take a lot of stairs (70) then try for the rooftop room. Amazing views to the castle, the city and the harbor. If you are not in the best of shape, the stairs can be a lot. There is no elevator. Also, we could have used a better description of the location as we drove right past it using GPS. There is no parking at the hotel but you can briefly park 10 meters away. Parking is touch and go. There are parking lots and if you are lucky you can get a place not too far from the hotel.

Old but updated with a nice elevator, large bed, nice bathroom and shower and a balcony! Its location is close to the destinations we wanted to see and lots of nice areas to explore nearby.

Room 107 has small floor-level windows. The restaurant is great, and the breakfast offerings are delicious and with a lot of options. Beds are comfortable, the shower is nice and the AC works well. Get room 106 as it has the only balcony. The staff are delightful and very helpful.

We were surprised that this area was not as developed/restored as Knossos. It was however very interesting.

This was OK since it was major highway. The car was OK except when the check engine light came on causing a lot of distress and anxiety as we were on a 2 lane road with no area to pull off.

The weather report was for cold and wet so we did not go.

The Palace is much larger than we expected and it is very well presented with excavations and restorations.

Petros was very accommodating as we got there a bit late due to traffic and could not find parking close to the meeting spot. He is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He recommended a great place for lunch that was not overwhelmed by tourists. Chania is a delightful place with a lot of history to explore.

Kostas met us at the baggage claim and brought ut to the car. Very convenient.

Location was close for going in and out of. We found it adequate. Staff was not very helpful . Restaurant seemed very understaffed. Not at all helpful with early breakfast. Heading to airport early next morning and they were uncooperative with packing anything for us to eat even though breakfast was included with our stay. Every other hotel we had been in was extremely happy to pack something . Rooms were very updated and cramped. Would not recommend .

Pretty good location. Suggest an uber from train. Up steep hill or tons of steps. Hotel clean. Rooms nice.

Quaint..good location. Not far from buses and tram. We were traveling as a foursome and were booked in different buildings. Not ideal. There are 3 continuous buildings for lodging so if you are traveling with another and you care specify when booking. We had 3 flights of stairs to hulk our bags up. No elevator. Needless to say, lots of exercise up and down. Breakfast was very good. Made to order or continental.

The location of this hotel was ok. It was just a few blocks to the Aldgate tube. Beware when booking as they have “snug” rooms that are in a basement without windows. They do have rooms with windows which we changed to the next morning . Breakfast was very good and hotel staff very helpful

First of all the boat safaris and Jaguar spotting were fantastic, exactly what I hoped for. So I am happy overall. But the lodge was very unsatisfactory. The conditions were terrible and the guy running the place very disorganized and didn’t provide any information about meal times, boats, services … I had to ask and push for everything. Other guests complained about this too. At one point I waited for hours at my room thinking someone would pick me up to go to the boat and had to have the Portuguese speaking maid call the manager to find out what was going on. The food was gross and the eating conditions unsanitary. Food prep areas were right next to the very dirty dishwashing area. I didn’t feel comfortable eating. The room was hardly a room but about the size of a tent. The bed and pillows stiff as a board with one blanket and one bath towel provided. No room service was provided or offered in the 3 nights I was there. Dogs from the surrounding slum barked through the night and again starting about 4 am every morning. The room itself was about a block and a half from the main area of the lodge and dining area through what I would call a rural slum with poorly kept huts, broken down cars and with trash everywhere. The attached photo is right outside my room. At night the walk is very dark and if I were a woman I would feel very unsafe walking by the squalor. The WiFi is terrible and cuts in and out constantly, presumably because of the power provided by a weak, intermittent generator.

The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout the stay! The room was very nice and comfortable and the food was great. My only criticism is this is not really a good place for wildlife photography. The safari rides are in a crowded, big, vibrating truck with very few opportunities. I didn’t see anything on the hikes. The only good shots I was able to get of birds, capybara, couture and monkeys were on my own walking around the grounds. Even then I probably only got 15-20 quality pics in 3 days. So I’d say this is a great place if you want a comfortable venue to enjoy nature and relax but don’t count on getting many wildlife pics.

Boat safaris were amazing. Accommodations were terrible.

This boutique winery catered to us very well. The scenery was fantastic and our seating in front of a wall of floor to ceiling glass enabled us to take full advantage. The wines and information were very interesting. Food/lunch along with it was very tasty and went well with the tasting.

After a big travel day and a long train ride, jumping back into reality at a busy train station is a bit of a shock. Being met at our arrival was a very easy and comfortable way to ease into our stay. She explained a lot of things about how the water taxis worked and how to get around, all this on the way to the hotel. Very glad we had this.
