Incredible place!!! Just gorgeous 💖

Beautiful view of the Aegean Sea and beach and lovely roofdeck with hot tub. Was a little farther away from Naxos Town than we expected but no worries we figured out the bus system for going back and forth to town for the tours. 😊

A lovely and extremely comfortable place. We are especially grateful that we could stay another night in our same room after Delta postponed our flight home to Boston the next day. The rooftop view of the Acropolis at night was also stunning and the location perfect to getting to all the sites we wanted to see.

We really enjoyed touring the Naxos country side on e-assist bikes with Manos Vassilas leading us around and narrating stories about the areas along the way. He took us to the Kouros archaeological site and to an Olive Mill where we learned how olive oil is made and also sampled some. Manos also took a video of us and shared it with us and we enjoyed visiting the family farm and then eating some of the food made at that farm. The view of the Aegean Sea on the way back was beautiful!

We loved Naxos and the Food Tour was great! We met our group and welcoming and friendly guide, Ellana, at 5 pm and then walked all around Naxos Town kicking off our journey with delicious samples of Naxos cheese, lime and fig nibbles, lemon honey bread and a local white wine. We continued into picturesque winding streets up toward the ancient castle to meet our sweet greek grandmother host for an olive oil tasting session, starting with the extra virgin oil, which was also award winning, hot, and spicy in our throats! Sampled many olive oils, some flavored with rosemary, basil and chile peppers drizzled on popcorn. She also served us sweet homemade greek cakes. After buying some olive oil we continued along a complex labyrinth maze (designed to lose pirates) toward the 360 degree sunset view bar, Avaton, through small white and stone walkways with bougainvillea hanging from trellises, and passageways around and through castle walls. Our group wrapped up the tour with a nice dinner at the restaurant, Apostolis, sipping squash soup, and eating greek salad in bread bowls with fluffy whipped goat cheese, Naxos potatoes with kalamata olives and capers, red onion, and cheese, lamb stew with phyllo crust, and zucchini fritters. Such a great way to experience Naxos.

We started at the Ancient Agora, then to the Acropolis and also the Acropolis Museum! All were amazing!

Leo was awesome and we learned alot about Athens! We walked all over Athens as saw the changing of the guard, many embassies, the upscale area of Kolonoki, student and young thinker hangout spots, grabbed a drink with the group at a local cafe, walked through the meat, fish, veggie and fruit markets then through Psirri square, ending at Monastiraki square. The tour really helped us feel comfortable navigating our way around the city.

Great location in the city with great shopping stores and walking distance to restaurants.

The room layout was cramped and did not allow for us to relax and stretch out. The bath towels were not soft, and it was hard stepping in and out of the bathtub when taking showers. Some of the USB outlets for our phones in our room did not work.

I can see why this hotel is rated 5-stars. It is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and I felt very welcomed. I wished I stayed longer than one night.

This hotel was in a great location and close to many shopping and food places that were all walking distance. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was courteous and friendly.

This experience was rambling and way too long -- we bolted after three hours for what could have been a rewarding 30 minute visit. We would have better used this time in the beautiful surrounding area.

Informative, but a bit superficial. The story-telling is effective but more basic historical context would be nice.

The arrangements resulted in a delay in starting as we waited (because the receptionist didn't notify the genealogist, so the genealogist said), and the genealogist mainly did Ancestry.com with us and although she was facile in its use she didn't add that much to our understanding of our family's origins.

This was the best place we stayed. The location was ideal for exploring York, the room was large with a walk in shower, and the restaurant food was excellent.

The location of this hotel was great. We had a beautiful view of the water and esplanade. The room was a bit tight, again with no where to put our suitcases, and the shower was a tub shower, which is just so difficult for my husband to manage.

This was our stay in St. David’s, and the place itself had everything we requested. A full kitchen, living room, etc. We could spread out and relax in this space. It was located a bit further out of the center of town than we would have liked, but I imagine it could have been challenging to find this kind of accommodation right in town.

This hotel had everything we needed: walk in shower, a lift, and a great location. The breakfast here was also very good with a wonderful, complete buffet.

The location of this apartment was wonderful; a great view of the bay and very near shops and restaurants. Our only complaint was that it was situated over a bar that on our first night, had very loud karaoke until midnight. We were very concerned about the next 2 nights, but fortunately, the bar closed after the first night for renovations. So we feel like we lucked out. The narrow staircase up to the apartment was a bit of a challenge for my husband who has balance issues with his feet, but he managed.

Our room was so small that we had no place to put our suitcases, let alone our clothes, etc. The bathroom was no more than 4’x5’, including the shower, which made it very difficult for my husband (who has significant balance issues) to navigate the shower. The location was good, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Andrew was an excellent guide, taking us up into the Yorkshire Moors and up to Whitby. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Yorkshire and we learned so much from him. He was also humorous and engaging. I would highly recommend going with Expedition Yorkshire for a well rounded tour of the area.

We had Laura as our driver/guide for 2 days in a row. She was another guide who was just perfect for us. She showed us the beauty of southern Wales, and gave us a real insight of what it is like to live there. She also gave us the choice of seeing St. David’s cathedral or a visit to the best ice cream ever (on a dairy farm). We chose the ice cream and didn’t regret it. We visited the cathedral on our own the next day. I would highly recommend Laura or Ewan as tour guides in southern Wales.

Nigel was just perfect as our guide. He obviously had a real connection to his homeland and the history of mining and what has befallen the miners. He took us to the Minack Theatre, which was such an amazing place with an incredible backstory. I would highly recommend his tour to everyone visiting Cornwall.

This was actually a highlight of the trip. Sean Hayes was unbelievable in this Oscar Lavant role and -layer Rhapsody in Blue so professionally…we had no idea he was such a pianist. Rachel got us great seats!

We learned so much about the Borough Market and the surrounding area on this tour. Anna was such a great tour guide. We got to try out traditional English food like excellent fish and chips and British pasties. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Anna!

Entirely comfortable and adequate, though the open shower was a bit hard to manage. Breakfasts were quite ample and quite good.

I have commented on this in my written review. It was, for me, the high point of the trip, and Emma, the chef, was wonderful: I’ll never forget her welcome to her kitchen and the pleasure of shopping for, cooking and eating a meal with her.

Suggest upgrading to a deluxe room for a little more room. First class bar and breakfast

Top shelf hike with incredible experience at the pinnacle. It was fairly tough made more difficult with misty rain the entire time. Andi was great and brought very welcomed lunches. Wish we had a clearer day but would do it again.

Well organized and a true inside experience. He knew interesting places and made sure we had a true taste of the local food. Special thanks for accommodating Bev’s food allergies. Deep understanding of history of Norway. Excellent!

This was our favorite hotel on the trip. Recently renovated, and very tastefully appointed. Also the best food we had from any of the places we stayed. The pastries were amazing!

Clean, comfortable, great location, good breakfast, allowed us to check in early which was a day saver as we had just flown in from NY

James from the Jameson experience should be in theater. He put on a show that elevated the Jameson story from merely interesting to highly entertaining. Also our guide for the whole tour - Jameson and Guiness was Fergus and he was excellent too. He was as informative as he was advisory making sure the group was aware of the history of the city - things not discussed at Jameson or Guiness - but he also made us aware of discounts and opportunities and warned about higher prices at gift shops vs Dublin retail and also street smart tips. The line of Guiness pints he assembled at the end of the tour was pretty epic too!

Great to see the cliffs from the water. Enjoyed Inisheer visit too. Recommend renting a bike to tour the island

Good place in a charming little village!

Fun, unique farm setting. The dinner menu was limited but food was delicious. Very quiet! Enjoyed the farm animals!

If could change check in times to correspond closer to flight arrival times without being charged for an extra day- that would be really appreciated.

Simply amazing! Breathtaking views and totally worth taking a detour to stay there. Everyone was very accommodating and because our unit wasn't rented, they were happy to let us have a late check out, so that we could explore the island until time for our ferry ride.

Loved the upbeat atmosphere, and the rooms were very comfortable and relatively spacious. The breakfast was amazing - it would be impossible to try everything!

Andrea was a highlight of our trip. We spent a full day touring with him, and we could have spent another day with him! He went out of his way to show us things. It was clear he loves the islands, and sharing his love of the area with others.

John was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable about Bergen, and took the time to explain the history and to make sure we got a chance to see things that were of interest to us.

Loved Stig - very knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed our time with him.
