My granddaughter and I had a wonderful trip!

Petrina arranged everything beautifully and was responsive to all my questions and doubts.
My only complaint was the weather. I doubt she could do anything about it, though.

Ireland is beautiful. The people, the scenery and the food were lovely.

We booked a vacation that included me, my husband and our adult children and children in law. Tasos made it all so easy. We arrived and departed at different times. Pickups and drop offs were perfectly executed.

Tasos's recommendations were excellent. We had a wonderful combination of historical exploration, guided cultural experiences, beach days and time to explore on our own.

Highlights included: welcome dinner at Zillers, our guides in Athens, our guided trip to Delos, our full day exploring Naxos with Katerina of Vioma (do not go to Naxos without meeting her), our car trip to the Temple of Poseidon during the time between arriving in Athens by air from Naxos and leaving by ferry for Hydra, and our brief respite on Hydra at the Four Seasons (no relationship to the chain).

The process of planning was efficient and painless.

I can't thank Julia enough for all her recommendations of where to go in Northern Norway. I started out trying to organise the trip myself, as I would usually do, and Norway had me perplexed with exactly where to go and how much time we would need. Julia was spot on with her advice and location choices. Particular highlights were the Sea Cabins in Reine, the stunning house and surrounding areas in Senja and the gorgeous accommodation approximately 30 minutes outside Tromso. Active Tromso and our midnight kayak was also a massive highlight. I can not recommend their adventure experiences more highly and we will be back to do some mountain climbing and husky adventures soon. Thank you again Julia! Our experience was so memorable and you took all the angst out of the decision making process guiding us through ferry crossings and pointing out not to miss spots along the journey.

Review for Nepal Tibet trip from 18th May – 5th June 2019
Unforgettable Nepal, I was back to this country again for trekking to Lower Mustang,
which is very similar to Tibet Plateau?
First time domestic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara without delay, leaving me plenty time to explore this town again either food or shopping. Stunning view from plane flying from Pokhara to Jomsom and landed on an “unbelievable” that it’s an airport! Weather changed from hot Pokhara to a dry and cool Mustang, made me felt fresh and excited to begin with the trekking. I like the 2st 3 days trek, as it took only 3 – 5 hours for each day, so I have sometimes to explore the town and mesmerized to the scenery,
unique building structure, “oasis within a desert”, monastery and cold dry air. However, the last day back to Jomson via Lubra....aw...I was taken so long hours to reach the main road which completely out of expectation, but I will never never forget this part of journey, rocky road with some “stream” and very very strong wind always push me walking backward rather than helping me to walk faster, so you can imagine how difficult to walk against strong wind.
I am feeling thankful to guide, Suman, who were always helping me to carry my heavy backpack, patiently waiting for me and assisting me on walking through difficult trail. Even though the whole trekking trail not consider difficult, but it does really required certain level of fitness and stamina if wanted to complete all according to planned hours especially the last day.

Next chapter of this trip would be Tibet.
Travelling to Tibet was my dream and finally I have completed once in my life time experience in Tibet though most of the days were cloudy and sometimes rain. I saw the iconic Potala Palace, scenic Yomdruk Lake, awe inspiring Mt Everest from base camp, played snow at Gong Tang La Pass.
Felt the elevation at the 5000+.......This part of the review short and sweet, as really need to experience it personally. I hope this is not going to be my once in life time travel to Tibet, wish to be back there again with nice clear weather.
I am really grateful to driver (Dawa) and guide (Tseten), both of them really taken good care of me, always check and ensure that I did not experience the altitude sickness. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my whole trip as he has excellent driving skill, sharing and taking plenty of beautiful photos and left me with lots of memorable pictures. Experience guide who discussed and give suggestion if possible depend on the affordable flexibility that he can in order for me to have pleasant and enjoyable trip in order to prevent altitude issue.

Last, I would like to thank Kripa who planned this wonderful trip for me again and arranged Bimba to brief me on the Tibet trip, he (Bimba) also always called to ensure my safety in Tibet. Thanks Anil help at Nepal border when back from Tibet and shared with me the history of Nuwakot. Hope to see you guys in future visit.

Chris did a great job and the trip to Greece was one of our best vacations. Everything was handled and all the staff were professional and wonderful to deal with.
I would definitely recommend kimkim to handle your travel needs.

My family went to Athens, Mykonos and Crete in Mid May of this year. It was a fantastic trip from start to finish. Christos , I am sorry this is so late. I cant thank you enough for the terrific Itinerary you put together for us. All the Accomodations were wonderful with a special shout out to Aletro Cottage Houses. The location, pool, view, breakfast and rooms were all amazing. The owners were great and when my daughter needed something for some insect bites they quickly came to the rescue.
The tours set up by Christos and all transportation were 5 star . The drivers always had water available to us and gave us lot of info. Shout out to Alternative Athens for the tours especially our Tour guide Alex on our Mythology walking tour in Athens. He was so passionate about his job!
Our boat rides between islands were fun and the views unbelievable. Just make sure you have some Euros as the internet went down on our day trip to Balos and couldn't buy food on the boat!!
KImKim was available around the clock to answer questions and were quick to answer,.
I will be using KimKim again for our next European travel!!

Tasos was great in planning our trip. We got to see everything my grandson wanted to see and more. The guides he booked were great, everyone of them. The driver, Nikos , he booked for the Olympia, Vasse, and Mycenae trip was the most professional diver we could ask for. He was very accommodating to our every need. Very engaging in conversation and went out of his way many times to makes us happy. We felt like we met as strangers but parted as friends. The boat trip with Socrates was special as he cooked on the boat, which was great, and let my grandson steer the boat under his supervision. We had a very nice experience. Dimitri and Maria were also very good in handling our trip when Tasos was off having a baby.

Two things could be improved. The reservation for the retreat in Abeliona got messed up so we had no place to stay Between Maria and Nikos we found a suitable replacement place to stay but required an extra 1.5 hours of driving. Thanks to Maria and especially Nikos for handling this.
Suggestion would be for someone to confirm reservations the day before we arrive so as not to have too many issues. Plus the retreat in Abeliona, appears to be past its prime especially seeing that not a single person or staff was there when we arrived Think twice about booking that again.

Second area for improvement was the Pi Athens hotel. It was ok but not quite what we expected.. located in a run down area of the city and not near enough outlets where needed especially in the bathrooms by the one and only mirror. You can tell they are trying but not quite up to my standards anyway. The staff was excellent and very accommodating but the hotel itself is lacking somewhat. We still had a very good time though.

We enjoyed the whole trip and I just wish we could have extended our stay! From the transportation to the hotels and activities, Adriana made thiis trip really enjoyable for us. Thankyou Adriana and the rest of the kimkim staff :)

Mario did a great job with our trip! His planning took all the stress out of our visit. From the transfers, to the guides, to the trains, everything was perfect. We loved our guide, Julia in Florence. She was very informative and catered our tour to our tastes.
David in Venice was extremely knowledgeable and again, catered the tour to where and what we wanted to see.
Our Murano, Burano and Torcello tour out of Venice was awesome. A great way to explore the islands.
Loved our tour of Pompeii. Enrico was a wonderful tour guide. Had so many interesting facts and made the tour one of the highlights of our trip.
In Sorrento, we had a wonderful private boat tour to the Blue Grotto, Capri, and the coast off Sorrento. Our boat guides were Nello and Francesca. They were absolutely amazing and so much fun. Would highly recommend them.
In Rome, Paulo showed us around Ancient Rome. Again, very informative and interesting. Loved learning about Ancient Rome and all of the history there. We were then treated to a wonderful dinner in Rome. Amazing.
Would HIGHLY recommend Mario and Veronica for any travel plans!!

Croatia is a beautiful country of rocky mountains, clear waters and blue lakes. It was our first time visiting Croatia and we really enjoyed our time spent exploring the coast between Dubrovnik and Split.

Booking through KimKim was an easy platform. Robi and his team put together an itinerary that was a perfect way to explore the Croatian coast, including a good mix of islands and historical towns. We were never too busy and had time to explore on our own.

Goran, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He liked a joke - especially trying to teach us Croatian words! Though our itinerary was planned, Goran was happy to make changes to accommodate our holiday style. His insider knowledge meant we ate at some delicious family restaurants.

Our accommodation was great - a mixture of apartments and hotels, which suited us perfectly. Our hosts were friendly, and our rooms were clean and spacious.

We really enjoyed our trip to Croatian and would highly recommend touring with Robi and Goran.

I can’t say enough about Christos, Maria, Angeliki and Dimitris and the whole travel12 team. Wow! They planned a wonderful and seamless trip for my teens and me. Anything went perfectly and if it didn’t the travel12 team make it right AND gave us something to make up for the trouble. In Skopelos our favorite island we had the team schedule us a mamma Mia tour. But on the day the tour company did not show up and didn’t have our reservation. Travel12 got right on it and got us scheduled for the next day. And to make up for our disappointment they scheduled a boat tour of the island. That might have ended up being one of our favorite tours! Everything was so wonderful and exactly what we wanted. We asked to be slightly immersed into Greek culture and boy to christos and travel12 deliver. We had an awesome cooking class with a Greek family on Naxos. It was just us and the family and it was wonderful!! When I go back to Greece I am contacting christos and travel12. Thank you so much!!!!

Our holiday inGreece was remarkable. Chris planned an interesting and outstanding itinerary and arranged great hotel accommodations as well. I especially enjoyed our suites in Athens, Rethynmo,, and Mykonos Town! The Catamaran Cruise in Santorini was delightful and so much fun. Made acqpanitiness with several other travelers . Also wanted you to know that our private drivers were all wonderful ! They were attentive to your needs and polite, and extremely knowledgeable which made our travel time with then educational and allowed for interesting discourse with then. My son, Kenny and I will continue to relive our fabulous holiday that Chris planned for us in such detail to assure we were able to visit all the historic places I wanted my son to see. We have many happy memories which we’ll cherish forever. Thanks again, for an exciting and wonderful experience in Greece!!!

In one word - AMAZING!

Tasos and his team helped us plan a trip of a lifetime. Beginning in Athens with our driver, Lampros, who took us to the Sounio Temple and an impromptu dinner, which was wonderful. We then did an Acropolis tour, which was fascinating and awe inspiring.

Our next stop was Tinos. Our accommodations at Favie Suzanne were great, but the personal service we got from both Yannis and Fabio was above and beyond - they were so helpful. Tinos is a beautiful island, which we were able to enjoy as we took the Marble Route tour with Katia and a driver. Katia and the driver were very informative and showed us a part of Tinos that we never would have seen without the tour. When we were arranging our trip, we asked Tasos to give us the “real Greece” and that is wha we had every step of the way.

Next we went to Naxos, where we stayed at Nastasia Village. Emma, who owns the hotel with hr family was so warm and accommodating . She helped make our stay so very special. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing - real Greek food - homemade and delicious. Naxos is a beautiful island with fewer tourists. After having the food tour, which was amazing with Yannis and Irini, we learned so much about Naxian cheese, Kitron, and Greek foods in general. We also had a fabulous tour of the island and were given an opportunity to visit many villages. Naxos has great Easter he’s and we had a lovely beach day and then we went shopping in Chora. It is quaint and lovely and became our favorite stop on our amazing tour!

Santorini was our last stop. Luckily we were booked at the Makris hotel In Kamari, which was much quieter than either Fira or Oia, but there was plenty to do and it was a lovely beach (black sand/stone) and shopping area. We were able to take an island tour to Pyrgos, the wine museum and winery tour with tasting and Oia at sunset, which was beautiful, but crowded. Our favorite part of Santorini was the old boat tour on the Bella Aurora, which was amazing. The crew was fabulous. We hiked the volcano, swam in the hot springs, went to a secluded beach area and had a lovely authentic Greek barbecue and then we watched the sunset from the water. If that wasn’t enough, while the sun was setting, one of the crew members, Yannis, played the saxophone. It was a great end to our island tour!

Back to Athens for a night and Tasos had planned a goodbye dinner for us at The Black Sheep restaurant, which was delicious. Travel 12 was always there when we needed them and I would highly recommend their travel service. I would also highly recommend Lampros as a driver in Athens as he will go above and beyond what is asked of him and when you say you would like to have a bit of breakfast - he will take you to the most amazing bakery. My friend had a bit of a problem at the end of our trip and both Travel 12 and Lampros were there to help.

We can’t thank you all enough for an amazing adventure.....it was better than we could have ever imagined.

Ingrid was great and the experiences were truly amazing. We had a great trip with wonderful memories from activities that would have been very difficult to find or book on our own. I highly recommend!

Oyu planned a wonderful 10days roadtrip for us. There were 6 of us (grandparents, 2 kids and us). Activities planned were suitable for all (except grandparents couldn't climb the sand dunes) and nobody felt left out. We covered the Terelji National Park, sunset at Ugii Lake, explored the ancient city Kharkhorin and Endene Zuu Monastery, Ongi Monastery, sliding @ Singing Sand Dunes, horse riding at Yol Valley to see the ice lake and not to mention building our own gers! Our guide and driver, Jagaa and Bazaraa toke really good care of us. We met friendly and beautiful people along the way and left Mongolia with thoughts of our next trip.

We had a amazing experience in Sri Lanka, our tour guide Rukan was so helpful and supportive to us on our trip. He was a very safe driver and organised our days very well.
Sigiriya rock’Lion rock’, was wonderful to see and to climb to top for breath taking view.
Kandy, we enjoyed, visiting the Temple of Tooth and our Cooking class at Thotupala Residence.
Train ride to Nuwara Eliya; was a experience, lots of scenery and lots of singing by the locals.
Udawalawe- Leopard trails, was a great highlight on our trip, accommodation could not fault, safari tours were amazing.
Accommodation at CEU Ceylon was great, looked after us very welcoming, enjoyed our stay.
Thambapanni Retreat our least favourite accommodation, transferred to Thambapanni waves pavilion, it was exceptional..... wish we stayed there the 1st night.
Overall we had a great time and hope to come back one day!

I travelled to Nepal for the first time with my 3 kids and 2 other young people. What a fantastic experience. Ngima was informative and helpful right from the word go. Tailored the trip to our needs as an extended family group and obviously chose a trek that suited our fitness. Everything went smoothly from the first airport pick up to our wonder guide Pemba and our porters.
Nepal itself was simply marvellous. A mix of the bustle and fun of Kathmandu to the trek on the Khopra Danda track in the Annapurna range. Spectacular! I cannot thank the Kimkim staff, Ngima and Pemba enough for the experience they game me and my children. Memories that will last a lifetime and I hope give my children the confidence to return. I can't wait to return!

We just got back from an amazing adventure in Nepal. We can't thank Kimkim enough for helping to create a magical trip. From start to finish, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Erin, our local specialist, was extremely responsive in arranging all of the details for our time in Nepal, patiently answering my questions and providing a lot of information to help us prepare for the adventure. Raj welcomed us our first night in Nepal, and met with us again on our last day, making sure everything was taken care of. Bipin, our city guide in Katmandu, taught us so much about Nepal's history, religion, politics, and more as we explored different sites in the city. We would also like to express our gratitude for the drivers. Driving in Nepal can be quite an experience, especially in the mountains, but we had complete confidence in the Kimkim drivers- they are exceptional. Finally and most importantly, the heart of our trip was trekking in the Langtang Valley with Rishi, Susan, and Nirajan. We feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to trek with them- they are so very kind, fun, responsive, and responsible. The beauty and the biodiversity of the trek to the Langtang Valley are astonishing and the views from Kyanjin Gompa are jaw-dropping but I think that our lasting memories will be of our time with Rishi, Susan, and Nirajan. THANK YOU!!!

We had an amazing holiday and a lot of the credit should go to Robi, who was amazingly attentive both in London when we were planning the holiday and also in Croatia. He planned the trip extremely well for us and explained everything we needed to know, provided the best guidance and support but was never pushy. Communication was perfect and all Robi's recommendations were spot on.
We had such a good time, I have no hesitation in giving 5 star praise.
