Location is excellent. Hotel is new and modern. The dinner at the restaurant was an excellent meal as well!

Our guide was knowledgeable about the Icelandic culinary scene and culture. Learned a lot, got to see more of Reykjavik and the food was excellent!

Truly special experience, was fascinating to learn about the glacier structures and changes over time. I would opt for the 5 hour tour to get to explore further on the glacier

I would skip if you have the chance to do Blue Lagoon. It was crowded when we went and was just less relaxing than the Blue Lagoon

The setting is beautiful and I loved the view of the Mediterranean from the pool. The entire staff was very helpful and Rosita was amazing! So lovely and warm!

In retrospect, I would have preferred to have rented a more luxurious faster boat. The captain was excellent, but the boat was not very comfortable. It was a long ride, over an hour and a half, and the seats were not very comfortable. I had a better experience in Nice renting a faster and more comfortable boat. We did enjoy swimming in the grottos, but I should have selected a more comfortable boat.

We weren't here very long, arrived fairly late and left fairly early. We enjoyed our stay, but there are couple of things worth mentioning: * This is a slightly odd layout. Everything wraps around a smallish courtyard. The pool area covers most of the courtyard, and the restaurant seating spills out into the courtyard. The result is that everything feels kind of packed together, and you if your room opens to the inside area, you can hear pretty much everything in the building. It's cool and exciting for large groups, who get to be "together" even when they are in different places. I saw a couple of such groups here, and they were clearly having a great time. You might enjoy it less if your schedule depended on getting some sleep earlier than 10pm or later than 7am. * The restaurant was pretty great, with a deeper and more subtle dinner menu than your average hotel. * It's tough to find, even for San Jose. Parking is even trickier - it's across the street from the hotel, and you really have to plan in order to be able to get there without circling a few blocks.

We went here at the start of a trip, got in late, left early. Didn't really get to evaluate much about the hotel, but what we saw was good. Five stars because they were accommodating (despite our late arrival). Helpful (which we needed because we were sleep-deprived and exhausted, and patient (which we needed because we were grumpy from the delays and other complications that made us late.

It's perfect if it's what you are looking for. This isn't about creature comforts. The path up from the boats to the hotel is steep, slippery and long. You'll be staying in a stifling hot cabin or a noisy, simple platform tent. Everything gets damp and stays that way. Meals are picked for you - there's no menu. No TV, viable internet or cell coverage. But if you are here to be here, to see Osa and Corcovado park, you're in the right place. Everything is astonishingly, endlessly beautiful. Scarlet Macaws nest in trees right on the grounds. Troops of Howler and Capuchin monkeys wander through all day and night. The forest, the ocean, the flowers -- this is the place to sit and soak it all in. If you want to see Osa, and be a part of Osa, this is a great place.

Great vibe, great location, lovely little pool, just a really good fit for us. Monkeys, lizards and exotic birds on the grounds all the time. The restaurant doesn't have the deepest menu, but the food is _fantastic_. Would stay here again, no question. One small warning: in the restaurant, particularly at breakfast, avoid the corners of the sitting area furthest from the kitchen. The flies there are insufferable. Deeper into the seating area, things are fine.

I tired out after the first set of dives, but the kids kept going for another hour or more. Lots of great fish (including pufferfish!), sharks, some folks saw turtles. For me, the highlight was floating peacefully while hearing whales sing somewhere out at sea.

I wanted to give this one star, because I was terrified the whole time and never really got to the point where I enjoyed myself, but that's just me and my fear of heights. The rest of my group had an amazing time. The guides were fantastic. They were very visibly obsessed with safety, which helped keep my panic to a minimum. They joked around with the kids, were patient with me and my wife, and generally did everything conceivable to maximize our enjoyment. Not their fault that it didn't work for me. Also - they used our cameras to get phenomenal number of great videos. I suspect we'll be watching those for decades.

Some great wildlife! Can't complain about that, really. We saw big coati family, a couple of agouti, a tapir, lots and lots of monkeys. But, I suspect we could have seen a lot more, and would have on a normal tour, but something odd was going on when we were there. Our guide spent a lot of time just _waiting_. Not sure for what. We waiting 15 minutes before getting started, then walked back and forth over the same 100 feet of trail for another 30 minutes with no obvious explanation. We paused and talked to another guide for 15 minutes later. We hung around at Sirena Station for much, much longer than planned. We headed back to the boats 20 minutes early. The end result is that we only spent about 90 minutes actively looking and exploring. I think this was unusual, some mix-up. Maybe a guide didn't show up? In any case, I'd still strongly recommend this tour, but I think we caught them on an off day.

I have a life-long, irrational fear of horses. I agreed to do this only as a trade-off to get my kids to try some other things on our trip. Much to my utter surprise, I had a great time. Our guides were patient and very clear with their instructions. They kept a pace that we could manage. We went through terrain that we never could have navigated on foot, and it was just amazing. I got my horse all the way up to a trot a couple of times. I can't say I'm cured. Horses still seem crazy to me. But, if they could deliver 2 hours of exhilaration for me, I expect they can do that for just about anyone.

We did nature hikes in Monteverde, Corcovado, and here. Much to our surprise, Manuel Antonio was the clear winner for variety of wildlife, educational content, and overall enjoyment. Coati, monkeys, huge spiders, snakes, a variety of birds, lizards, and an up-close encounter with a sloth. Don't miss this hike!

The service was impeccable ( especially from Anwar) the rooftop was just breathtaking, and it was a perfect location. One of our favorite hotels on this trip!

Excellent hotel. We stayed in the 2nd building (which I would recommend - quieter and nicer rooms). Food was very good and the hotel is close to everything. Service was impeccable.

Loved this hotel. Was a bit of a transition given what we are used too. But really enjoyed the stay. The ladies in the kitchen were wonderful. Very nice quiet place that has great access to the park and just a quick walk to the beach.

Driver was excellent - guide was a bit average. This was the only part of a trip that was “average.”.

Wonderful ! Was not enough time - even at 3.5 hours

It's hard to really separate "just the hotel" from the rest of the experience. Lake Atitlan is always going to be the star of any visit here. The lake, the surrounding volcanos, the trails and villages around it...it's just so endlessly beautiful. Casa del Mundo does a great job of understanding this. The layout is vertical and shallow, so that wherever you go, you are looking at the lake. There's not a lot of "building," other than the restaurant and front desk. There are patios and benches everywhere between and above the rooms. There's no AC, but there are windows with screens and cross-ventilation so you can have your windows open and hear the water lapping at the rocks. They enforce a 10pm quiet hour, which helps make that work for everyone. Be aware, this maybe isn't for everyone: you can only get here by (a smallish) boat, and there are a LOT of stairs in getting up from the lake to the hotel. If you aren't able to face 60-70 stairs on a regular basis, or you like to travel with 3-4 suitcases, you might not enjoy this place nearly as much.

So pretty, in such a perfect spot. Great little restaurant, friendly staff. So, why not 5 stars? The heat. Antigua gets pretty hot, and stays warm pretty late into the evening. There are lot of bugs, particularly mosquitos around. So, some hotels have AC. Some have fans. The rest of the places at least have screens on the windows, or mosquito netting, or both. The Hotel San Jorge has no AC, or fans (even in the bathrooms), or screens or netting. Also, they keep bright lights on all night in the courtyard, and are in a fairly noisy part of town. That means trying to sleep in stifling heat, or trying to sleep while coated in bug spray with something over your eyes against the light and, if possible, ear plugs. So, the rest of our experience was lovely, but we got very little actual sleep - which is a key part of what you generally want from a hotel.

We really enjoyed Finca Los Laureles, but I think some aspects suffered from how empty it was at the time. I think there were, maybe, two other rooms occupied during our stay. That was probably why there were very few employees on site, too. Coupled with the sprawling, rustic layout of this hotel, it added up to something of a ghost-town experience. We wandered around a lot, wondering where things were, or if we were really supposed to be in the places we ended up. We had an odd but wonderful dinner on, I think, the back porch of a restaurant but never figured out where the front entrance was. All in all: lots of wonderful moments with some confusing times, too. I suspect that this would have been a very solid 5-star review if we had stayed here during a busier season.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a top-tier international hotel "back in the day," this is the place. Everything they do is casual, confident luxury. The pool is perfect and perfectly maintained, because of course it is. You can get huge portions of excellent food poolside, or in your room, or in the restaurant because why wouldn't you? The beds are unbelievably comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Things are ready when they are supposed to be, or sooner. They have a spare of whatever you lost. They know how to help you find the place you can't remember the name of. They are the Westin Camino Real, they've been doing this since people flew in on PanAm 707s. It's the only way they know how to do things: perfectly.

This is a high end hotel and is just outside the old town. This means that you are close enough to step into the old city but don't have to put up with the congestion and crowds. The staff are amazing (the best we had on our trip).

The hotel is right on the beach. The beach itself is not the best but it's good for relaxing. The hotel is decent though might do with a few upgrades. The staff are the best and take of your every need.

Nice hotel with great views over the ocean. Rooms can be a bit small so do look at that before booking. It is also a bit far from the old town so if that is what you are looking for then go somewhere else. However, if you are looking for an ocean experience, this is your place.

This was a perfect way to the city. Our guide took us to locations we would never have seen if we had tried to walk or take individual tours. The cart was pleasant and quiet, which allowed us to ask questions quite easily.

Super interesting tour.

The place is just dripping in art. It is very obvious that the guide had a script that she had to stick to, so asking questions was sometimes futile.

Our guide was a scholar and kept us engaged for the entire 3 hours. She was so wonderful that we were spoiled, and no other guide after could quite compare.

Our guide, Dennis, was one of a kind. Not only did he have personality for days, but he was also so very caring. My husband has a few medical issues and could not quite make it up to the top of our tour. Dennis ensured he was comfortable and safe as we continued our trek, always keeping my husband in sight. The winery...gorgeous! Everyone was so friendly, and the food and wine were superb.

Beautiful and cozy hotel in a great location. They have a rooftop pool that is great to use for the afternoon nap time needed after exploring the city in the morning.

Our guide was so full of knowledge and passion. He told us he curates each tour after meeting his guests. He picked up that we like a more unique experience upon meeting us. He gave us lots of tips and restaurants to try.

What a treat! Take a private catamaran for the day! We saw dolphins, paddle boarded to a private beach, swam and ate lunch. The captain and mate were top notch. Highly recommend! Full service with wine and lunch served to us. We just enjoyed the experience.
