Just returned from a brilliant trip to Iceland and have to thank Eva for putting together such a wonderful itinerary! As a "type A" trip planner kind of person, I am usually in charge of all of the details surrounding any trip we take as a family and/or with friends. That said, releasing everything to a stranger wasn't easy at first but the communication and suggestions from Eva quickly helped put me at ease. Hotels, tours, driving itineraries, etc - it was done with excellence and all there! She managed to fit in everything we requested and more in the 8 full days we had in Iceland and our tour around the ring road. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to spend in her beautiful country!

One amazing detail Eva made happen was contacting her friend in Akuyeri to arrange a private opening of the Icelandic Aviation museum for my aviation obsessed father the day after his 75th birthday. Wow. That was above and beyond!

My wife also broke her foot a week before our trip and Eva was able to secure refunds for parts of the trip she couldn't participate in and provided great suggestions on how/where to navigate many of the places along the way so she could see as much as possible. Again, insights only an experienced local like Eva could provide.

All in all, dealing with Eva and KimKim was such a positive experience that I can see myself becoming a little less type A and using more of their services in the future! On behalf of myself, my wife, and my parents, thank you again for all you did to arrange and coordinate such a logistically seamless and wonderful trip for us!!!

It was a nice experience. Very different. I would have liked the opportunity of being able to extend my experience with a massage thereafter. Definitely helps that staff personnel speaks English to help you with your visit. The hammam visited was an upscale touristic version - understandably.

Exploring the Medina and Historical Sites Of Marrakesh

Enjoyed the tempo and frenetic atmosphere of the medina. Did not enjoy overly pushiness of snake charmers and those people attracting you to their restaurant.

Bruno arranged a trip to Croatia that was the type of one-of-a-kind travel experiences that's very difficult to find. He was extremely organized and responsive throughout the planning process - crafting a unique itinerary tailored to my personal travel style and interests. Once the trip was underway, a serries of knowledgeable and friendly tour guides and drivers was there to provide a gentle assist while sharing their insight into each destination. Bruno also checked in periodically to make sure things were going well. Best of all, I still had plenty of freedom to explore each stop, enjoy the local food and culture, get myself lost, or simply relax - all depending on my daily whims. This was exactly what travel should be - from beginning to end!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour and the guide was great. Same goes for the trip to Toledo and also the hike to Roque Nublo with Paco. He went above and beyond with being flexible and really doing a great tour of practically the whole perimeter of the island! The boat excursion was a little disappointing as I think we expected more from the description and although labeled as a catamaran tour with a bbq lunch, it was more a powerboat with no bbq but more a Spanish omelette/macaroni salad/boiled potato lunch. The captain was also confused initially about us not having tickets for the excursion so we almost didn’t get to do the trip but I showed the itinerary with the information Karenina sent and it seemed fine. The e-bike tour was great and the guide was also very nice. We didn’t get to complete the planned route as it became too challenging but it was still wonderful. We were not expecting to peddle so much! The e-bike name made us think it would be more an electric scooter type tour so I think that could be explained better in the future in case there are those who don’t ride bikes very well.

The staff was great and very helpful with assisting us with any questions we had. We were able to navigate public transport and get to our excursions without taxis thanks to their assistance and that saved us a lot. The room was very nice and comfortable. Minor issues were not having the water bottles replaced daily as stated, trash not emptied every day, not being able to move the tv screen as it faced the window and the glare was terrible to watch it if the curtains were open, and that the shower design was not optimal as it allowed for water to leak out onto the floor. The food was amazing and we utilized the lounge for both breakfast and dinner. Amazing views of the island from the lounge area. Would still recommend utilizing this hotel in the future.

We were very impressed with the hotel and staff overall. Great location, lovely room, great amenities and very helpful with any questions we needed answered. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is due to the lack of flexibility when it came to scheduling breakfast which was included and which we had paid for. Due to the schedule of the breakfast and needing to reserve a breakfast time prior we were unable to utilize this benefit. We were able to make arrangements with the front staff to have breakfast packed and sent to our room for one of the days due to our excursion being early, but they would not do this for us for both days which doesn’t make sense.

E-Bike Mountain Tour with Tapas Tasting in Maspalomas

I’m glad it was not a group tour otherwise it would’ve been awkward since we could not finish it as planned! The guide, Anthony, was great and very accommodating. He allowed us to borrow a backpack after ours broke and helped us make sure we were as safe as possible. The scenery was beautiful and landscape was worth the trip.

Full-Day Trip to the Peaks of Gran Canaria

Paco was phenomenal and absolutely wonderful to spend the day with. He is extremely knowledgeable and clearly loves his job. It was great to have the personalized touch and hearing about his history too with where he lived and grew up on the island. The hike to Roque Nublo was wonderful and the timing weather wise was great. We enjoyed visiting the farmers market, cave museum, Tejeda and also the northwest coastal region too. The drive around was gorgeous and scenery so beautiful.

Catamaran Experience in Gran Canaria

Seeing dolphins up close was very fun and a great experience. The boat was definitely not a catamaran as advertised and the lunch provided also not a bbq as advertised. Due to the smaller nature of the boat, it was too crowded for all passengers to be on the deck and in clear viewing area of the dolphins when they appeared.

Working with Irene and Susana was exceptional. Every little detail was thought out and nothing was left unseen. Everyday there was communication and I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Thank you so much for such a great experience. Top notch customer service and so personable.

This was my first time using any kind of travel agency to plan a trip and Chris did not disappoint! I was initially nervous about using a virtual company with minimal insight into cost, but Chris made sure to assuage my concerns along every step of the way. I was able to provide specific guidance on what we wanted, and Chris helped fill in the gaps, share insider recommendations, find great local vendors, and most significantly coordinate all the flight/ferry/transfer logistics that had me looking for a travel agent in the first place. It was an incredible trip and I would definitely consider using KimKim again for our next international adventure. My only piece of feedback would be for there to be more visibility into the vendors that KimKim partners with once everything is booked and paid for. The names of the vendors we did our activities with weren't proactively shared and I would have liked to have been able to look them up in advance, which would have afforded us some more flexibility and control over our itinerary.

My trip, one of 3, to Azores and Portugal was enchanting. From the ease with which we were able to organize our trip through Kimkim, their web portal and our guide/orchestrator of our itinerary just perfect. Diogo Lino was a good listener as to our desires, a strong and timely communicator and had a stunning sense of history, pride and a story telling. I and we felt he was watching over us throughout our trip until our arrival home . . . a seamless adventure.

Sao Miguel: the town of Furnas, our home base at Terra Nostra, and meanering around the island all magical. Each day brought delights beyond my imagination. Once on the mainland, Coimbra and the Old University and Library brought goose bumps. An amazing octupus lunch in the hills of Nazarene and the intimate Fado experience in Lisbon unique and wonderful.

Thank you to Josee (and Joel and Valentine) for the amazing trip to Paris! Josee was very receptive to our wants and responsive to all questions. She was also able to maintain our budget without any sacrifices. The trip went off without a hitch, thanks to Josee and kimkim!

Wow!! Our trip to Greece was AMAZING! Everything that was prepared in advance was perfect. Every hotel, all transfers and pickups, etc all exceeded our expectations by a lot. We couldn't have had a better trip! There were a couple mishaps of our own fault not being where we needed to be for the start of a couple private tours.(We got turned around and lost.) Not a problem. Within minutes someone from KimKim called and got us where we needed to be. We are very grateful to KimKim for a truly wonderful experience!

I cannot put into words how incredible my trip to Greece was BECAUSE of Rebecca and KimKim!! She truly took our personal goals, hopes, dreams and even our personal stories to heart in her planning. Every activity, hotel, car ride, flight was on time, perfection and seamless. She was also very responsive when we needed suggestions or recommendations in real time on our trip. Ahead of it she asked all the right questions and always replied so quickly with alternatives and suggestions. We never felt pressure to do or add on anything we didn't need. I am telling you, even our tour guides sang Rebecca's praises. You get this incredibly personalized experience from your first email/call to the time your return home. I was overwhelmed, so relaxed, remarkably happy and will never want to travel again without Kim Kim!!!

We just returned from an amazing two week trip to Egypt and Jordan, and highly recommend Sherif and his team! This trip was planned and changed twice due to covid, and Sherif was incredibly patient with our questions and schedule updates. He also had great communication throughout our entire trip.

One huge win right out of the gate was the Dunes & Beyond representative, Ahmed, who met us at the airport. While others were standing in very long lines to get their visa, we were quickly taken care of by him, and to the car in minutes.

For the Cairo portion of our trip we had a driver and an Egyptologist with us for our daily excursions. Mohamed, our driver, has the skills you want in a Cairo driver. He was safe and able to navigate the chaos well!! The vehicle was clean and stocked with water. My husband pointed out that every time we got back to the car our dirty feet marks were even cleaned up. Above and beyond.
Lina was very knowledgeable about all things Egypt, and provided the right level of commentary as we toured the sites. She was well organized and we enjoyed her conversation! She gave us the detail you would never have through a group tour. I would not recommend doing this trip without a driver and Egyptologist. We talked to other travelers who did and found that we had a superior experience.

Petra in Jordan was for sure the highlight of that portion. We didn't realize how huge the Petra area is, and spent hours hiking through all the ruins.

Amman is one place we wish we had more time to explore. There is a lot to see close to and in town - Jerash, the Citadel and Madaba etc. - and we could have used at least another day to roam the markets and city center.

Overall we would highly recommend Kimkim and Sherif to others, and already have!

This trip was absolutely fantastic. Randall did such an amazing job planning it for us. We took our family of ten and did many touristy things, such as a catamaran tour with snorkeling and soaking at Baldi Hot Springs, but we also wanted to get immersed in the culture. We had the opportunity to hike through the rainforest and learn about volcanos, tour a farm and learn how to cook traditional Costa Rican food, volunteer at an animal rescue facility, and get up close and personal with crocodiles and monkeys. It couldn't have been a better trip (unless we'd seen some sloths, but unfortunately they were shy on our hikes). The hotels were perfect, the people were kind, and the tour guides were informative and fun. I would highly recommend anyone visit this incredible country and use Randall to help them plan it!

I wasn't sure how trip would unfold as I haven't used KimKim before however, all turned out aces! Tricia was extremely helpful in putting it all together. Norway is an extremely beautiful country (even in the rain!) and if you are an outdoor person you will appreciate the amazing countryside. Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger are great very manageable cities with a lot to see. All said, a wounderful experience.

She did everything so perfect!! Every guide we had was wonderful as well!! They all made us feel so welcome and they were so helpful! The hotels were breath taking too. We had such a great experience and can’t wait to go back!

Both our drivers were excellent. The hotels were lovely except the ibis in Surabaya which was fine. The Plataran hotel at bromo was fabulous. The M-gallery at solo was lovely although many of the things we tried to order (drinks and food) were not available as it was getting back on its feet post Covid. The M-gallery in Yogyakarta was also lovely and seemed to have everything we ordered. Its location is great as it’s near the Main Street. It was expensive though as tax and service were not included in its prices. The sunrise at bromo was great. The temples near Solo were lovely albeit not as spectacular is the ones near Yogyakarta. You need cash for tipping and some guidance on this might be helpful. You also need cash for visa on arrival. The traffic in the cities is very bad. Not as bad as Hanoi but progress is slow. Motorways work well. We bought some excellent batik at very good prices in solo and an artwork batik in Yogyakarta. We really enjoyed all the arranged tours.

Bumpy. Early start but great trip.

Sharon planned our trip and was outstanding and responsive before during and even after returning home as I'll explain. We needed Sharon only once while traveling to accommodate our son during our eight days on the road with our driver Hicham as our son wished for his own room during our final three nights together. She managed that process with our driver, Hicham once she gained our permission to adjust the extra cost for which we were grateful. Hicham was an outstanding driver, conversational if we engaged him (were not asleep) while always keeping us safe. He would meet us to pick us up at our accommodations not on time, but always early. Our vehicle clean inside and out. He was professional, and courteous. There were times we'd invite him to have lunch with us and he would politely decline. Of course this was during the time for him to make calls to confirm tour guides were at the ready for us whether it be two hours away or more, wherever our next destination was. He was never on his phone while driving nor checking messages. Our guides would magically appear and Hicham would hand us off and appear exactly when we needed him again. We did enjoy a few meals together, but Hicham was the consummate professional at all times. Hicham became like family to us as we traveled with our son during the first eight days before dropping him at his University to study abroad. Our son sat in the front seat listening intently to Hicham as he explained his roots in Morocco, that he is a proud Berber, among the original settlers of Morocco. Hicham drove many many thousands of kilometers somehow without GPS through the Sahara Desert by the Algerian border, and we always felt safe. It's customary to be stopped as a tour van and he always had perfect legal documentation. A highlight for us was luxury camping after riding camels in Merzouga, with our own private showers, wireless and Air Conditioning. We learned not all tours direct their clients to the luxury camps like we enjoyed; in fact, we were the only three at our camp, and neighboring camps included dozens of people sharing toilets, no wireless, nor AC. Among those were a honeymoon couple we saw the next morning at sunrise after climbing the highest dune to catch sunrise which confirmed what we already knew about Sharon and Hicham's utmost high level of integrity. Hicham helped us deliver our son and move him to Ifrane at the University and waited patiently for us when there were University snafus. He never complained and only exhibited the highest level of patience. We have incredible memories and photos now that we've been home two weeks, and finally need to mention that my son lost his debit card while traveling last weekend to Tangier about a six hour journey from his University in Ifrane. Morocco is a cash economy so it was frightening to our son to have just begun a long holiday weekend away with limited cash. I messaged Sharon to suggest solutions such as a wire, and she offered to have Hicham drive to our son to give him some Dirhams. Now that is going above and beyond! We love Moroccan Immersions!! Shower over flowed. Drain was clogged. Made worse as there were No towels for post shower never mind to clean up floor, and When we asked for more, they brought ONE! In the alley next door, a man was working ALL NIGHT LONG. We never slept!!

Great trip, and great adventure. Planned and executed very well. Plenty of organized activities mixed with ample free time. Guides were friendly and informative. Scenery was great. The home was challenging and very rewarding. All the food was great. Definitely recommend.

Chris was a great help with planning our trip. The itinerary was great and he was responsive to question and able to assist with unexpected events. We started in Athens and worked our way through Mykonos and Naxos to end at Santorini. Overall I would recommend and will consider booking through kimkim for our next trip.

Very good itinerary planned for a 10 day trip to Chile. I requested to replace Pentagonia with Atacama Desert and Puerta Varas and Lorena was able to put together a fun intinerary for me.
The guides at each of the destinations were responsible and were informative.

Nice hotel overlooking the lake. It's quite strange that the hotel doesn't provide bottled water nor are there cups in the room. I enjoyed the delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant.

This is the probably the only hotel I've seen that has a drive in lobby. It really helps as you can enjoy a cup of free coffee while waiting for your pickup early in the morning (most trips out to the desert start as early as 4 or 5am!). It beats waiting in the street for your pickup in the cold. The hotel restaurant has the best food I've eaten in this place. much better than what you can get in the town centre.
