Classy Riad. Spacious room with a great view. Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds.

Sahara was certainly a highlight of our trip

The location of our room was across the street from the oceanfront, which although not on the beach, was still convenient. I liked the grass beachfront, as it was breezy/windy and there was sand blowing. With the grass you didn't get sandblown. I did prefer the more sandy beach at the near Playa Langosta, however as I said, the grass here was a plus. And Playa Langosta was not too far to walk if you wanted to enjoy that Our room was in a multi level/unit building near the auto entrance and at the beginning of the passage. We got a lot of noise with people passing by, especially on Saturday when they are drunk and really loud. And at night, when the auto arm was raised, you got beep beep beep up, then the same down. We did not get good sleep here. The room had a nice patio oriented toward the pool, which although not the beach, was still nice. The breakfast buffet was really good. There are plenty of stores and eateries close. I would actually rate this hotel a 3 1/2 due to the noise and close proximity to neighbors.

I loved that the owner had a bird feeder in front which attracted so many kinds of exotic birds, and some squirrels too. It was great viewing and photo ops. The room had gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, but you didn't get much of a view because of the height of the vegetation. It did make it private. You had to go to the restaurant deck to get the view of the volcano. It was very nice relaxing on this deck. The canvas chairs that went with with the small table by the windows were too low for the table, and uncomfortable. There was a sofa which was good, but no good reading lighting to read in it. The water never was very warm. The grounds were very pretty, and it was quiet. It is a bit remote, so we made a stop at a market for some things before stopping. There is a walking trail to an observation deck over a pond, which was dense with foliage where we saw howler monkeys and birds.

This property was gorgeous and we had a stunning view of the volcano. You had your own cabana, so it was very private and seemed like there wasn't other guests. The breakfast buffet had everything and overlooked a small pond with lots of wildlife. There were also sloths in the trees. We did take advantage of both pools and the termales. The bed wasn't as comfy as Hotel Heliconia was probably the only critique.

This hotel had the best bed and room setup. The bed was so comfy and fluffy comforter made it so cozy. It was better than other more expensive property beds. There were upholstered chairs by the windows for reading or whatever which other properties didn't have either. We found a trail in back, and saw lots of birds and animals.

The view is gorgeous and the best part of the hotel. It is on a steep hill, if someone is not able to walk well, but you can request a shuttle ride. All the furnishings were uncomfortable. The bed was hard, there was a cheap sofa facing a wall that only served to put luggage on, no inside chairs, and patio chairs also uncomfortable. Pool lounges uncomfortable too.

It was relaxing going down the river and spotting the wildlife, but adventurous enough not to be boring. You are in a raft and do have to paddle in parts, so you got some exercise too. You do spot animals, but you are traveling down a river, so you don't get as great watch as if you were still. I didn't know about the chocolate presentation after, and thought it would be boring, but it wasn't. And the chocolate was delicious.

The warm water felt great as it was intermittent rain so was good to submerge in warm water. The water fall area was great on the back. The included dinner was very good.

The hike was not too difficult, and it had 3 levels of difficulty to choose. I chose the longest route, and it was still a pleasant hike although it rained and we didn't have a view of the volcano or lake.

This was a not to hard hike along the beautiful blue river culminating with the gorgeous blue waterfall. Our guide was very knowledgeable with the explanation and geography which makes this color occur. A bonus was the giant tapir which made an appearance.

I had such a fun time with this. The lesson was actually at Langosta Beach, not Tamarindo, which is a short ways away. This worked out fine as the beach is sandier and better for beginners. It turned out I was the only one in the group, so it was really a private lesson. I was able to get up my first try, and I am 68 years old. What a kick. The instructor guides you out on the board, then pushes you onto a wave, so it is not too difficult. Staying up is the harder part. The water was warm and shallow, and it was aslo a great respite from the heat.

The jungle is so lush and beautiful Spent so much time just looking at everything. The bridges were a lot of fun swaying with the wind, as well as providing a view from higher up. The sloth sanctuary exhibit at the end provided up close viewing of these animals which was fascinating, and the guide was knowledgeable. There was also a butterfly exhibit and a reptile after, both enjoyable and less crowded than the sloths.

This walk was fun in that you are on trails in the night with your flashlight, provided by them, seeking out creatures of the night. It reminded me of being a kid. We mostly located species of birds roosting for the night, and it gave you the opportunity to see them pretty close up as they didn't fly off. It was interactive for the group (small) to participate in locating items of interest too. The tour begins with a beautiful sunset of the area that the children helped save before setting off on your adventure.

I was really impressed with our guide for pointing out not only the obvious sloths, monkeys, but the flora and minuscule creatures that one would overlook. The guide was so adept at not only finding the wildlife, but getting the perfect photo and video for you. We did see many sloths, white faced monkeys, howler monkeys, and an endangered squirrel monkeys which was a rare treat. The tour ends on a beautiful beach where you can swim or relax away from the public beaches.

I got to be like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous for an afternoon. The catamaran was amazing, the largest of any other tour company out there. Got to see the coastline, and lots of dolphins, and nesting habitats on the small isles. We didn't end up snorkeling, as there was a red sea so visibility was reduced. We also didn't jump from the boat to the water, due to our age. The young people really enjoyed that. The dinner provided was very good and ample. There was also fruit prior. And you got 4 drinks per person, which we didn't even use all of. The beautiful sunset was a perfect ending. What I didn't like was that the music was deafening. You could hardly speak with the person you came with. The music selection was good, but just too loud. I also didn't like that the transportation bus made many stops to pick up other guests, understandable, but then we all had to disembark at the Boat Headquarters in town to receive our bracelets for the tour. This was inconvenient and time consuming when we were all amped to start our experience. The driver had all our names, so why wasn't it possible for him to go in and collect our bracelets and give them to us, and we're on our way. That is my suggestion for your team for the future.

Fantastic guide! Learned so much!! Beautiful!!!

I felt like I was living in nature. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, with a very private screened porch looking at the jungle. The staff were helpful and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was ample and good.

I loved the tour. I am 88 and was too tired to do the oat at the end. But the guide made allowance for my slow pace and was extremely helpful. For me it would have been better to have the boat trip on the Brazilian side of the falls

The wineries were each different. We learned so much and the wine was great. The meal at the end was unbelievable. We took pictures of every dish we ate.

Perfect hotel to end the trip. It felt very upscale and grand and I appreciated the huge tub to soak in before the long flight home. Also, very comfortable bed and professional staff.

This camp is so dreamy. I give the location, atmosphere, and restaurant 5 stars. The only downside is the that the bed was hard and uncomfortable and the top blankets smelled that they hadn't been washed for a while.

Perfect location. Right across from Petra's entrance. Nice and quaint and the bed was comfortable (always the most important thing).

Bed was comfortable and the Lebanese restaurant was good. I wish I could remember the name of the waiter at the lunch Buffett because he was so nice and even hand-picked an array of desserts since my husband couldn't decide.

A wonderful three days on the Farah Nile Cruise. The beds were comfortable, food was great, and I can't say enough great things about the entire staff. They were extremely professional and courteous and attentive.

Perfect hotel to start our trip. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the staff, gym, bar, restaurant, and coffee shop were great.

Great location next to Manuel Antonio Parque and a short stroll to the beach. Attentive staff at check-in and helpful to us throughout our stay. Enjoyed the main and sixth floor pools, plus the view of the Pacific from the rooftop eating area. Clean, comfortable rooms.

What a view! We stayed on the second floor, overlooking the valley and town. Spectacular sunsets. Mileydi was especially kind and helpful to us. Tasty lunch and dinners at the restaurant.

We loved staying in the villa. Quiet location with superb view of flora and fauna. Timely shuttle service to/from the common areas. Enjoyed the many pools and water slide. Las Palmas wait staff took good care of us in

Chris (sp?) pointed out so many birds, insects, and plants. The hanging bridges afforded spectacular views. Enjoyed the tram and climbing the observation tower.

A relaxing way to conclude our Costa Rica trip. Tasty fish dinner. Surprised that you offered four drinks per passenger, and they were kind of strong.

Lucky we that Andres guided us. What a lively, intense, patient, thoughtful encyclopedia of knowledge and wisdom he proved to be. Enjoyed the trails and beaches after our tour.

Loved the in-depth explanations of coffee growing, harvesting, roasting, and characteristics. Enjoyed the sugar cane and cacao presentations tastings.

Absolutely breathtaking.

Bryan and Abner made this trip fun. We enjoyed conversing with them on the rides to and from our hotel, floating down the river, and at the cacao presentation.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel. Food was good, lots of it and decent variety. Beach amazing and the hotel is in a gorgeous setting. Very serene and luxurious overall experience. Nice selection of activities at the hotel (eg snorkelling, walk of the island, massages). Room was stunning, with lovely complimentary bath products. Service was very good. A little information about the room and hotel upon arrival would have been nice (I don't know whether others usually get information about breakfast, check-out, wifi, activities etc but we didn't). Very quiet on a night after dinner, there isn't really any comfortable seating/ atmosphere around the bar area which we would have enjoyed.

Good location, on a slightly quieter street but very close to the bars. Friendly staff. Overall comfortable room, a little on the small side. A safe in the room would have been nice. Breakfast a little basic and lacking in choice but tasty enough.

Hotel room clean, but a bit dated and bathroom definitely needed an upgrade. Staff a bit less friendly here than elsewhere and no early check-in, which was a bit of a shame after a long journey to Medellin. Overall location pretty good, in el Poblado. Nice and quiet, could possibly have been a little bit closer to the action.

Overall lovely hotel, nice breakfast, friendly staff who even put rose petals on our bed for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. Room comfortable and clean, although ours had no window (but looked out into the internal courtyard).

Gorgeous hotel, excellent service (coffee on arrival), took bags to rooms. Very helpful staff, particularly one young man who went out of his way to assist us and try speaking in English to us (whose name we have forgotten). He even organised a cake for my husband's birthday. Very relaxing and honeymoony experience. Beautiful, big room, big bed. Lovely bathroom. Very clean. Nice pool area. Good massage. Hotel restaurant on site, food ok (but doesn't quite match the standard of the rest of the hotel) We would give this hotel 5 stars if the food and cocktails were just a little bit better.

Palenque was like nowhere else we had visited in Colombia. It was a fascinating place to see and learn about the history. We had a driver, two guides who came with us and a further guide in Palenque, which felt a bit excessive. We were not quite sure why three guides were needed, it made the car journey a little cramped and uncomfortable. But the guides were very friendly nonetheless and we had an enjoyable trip. We really enjoyed the experience in the boxing gym and the local Palenque guides in particular were very good.

Juan was great. He was super friendly and his English was excellent. The whole experience was really fun, we appreciated the bits of food alongside the rum and the staff member that actually worked at the rum place who led the tour was also very friendly and was a great tour guide.

Tayrona is a must-do. This was stunning. The wildlife, the park, the beaches, everything is just beautiful and very relaxing. The guide was friendly, he had worked in the park for some time so was very knowledgeable.

This was our least favourite tour. In the pictures beforehand, Penol looked stunning so we were very excited about this. In reality, however, the boulder is just a tourist destination. The boulder itself was extremely busy, the queue in the carpark was long as was the queue up the boulder, the experience was all rather rushed and for our tastes, the natural beauty of the area is somewhat ruined by the overly-touristy feel of the boulder. We get the impression that perhaps once this was a great tourist destination but has now been a little "over-toured". The boulder is surrounded by tacky souvenir shops and fairground type attractions. We preferred the more intimate tours with smaller groups - this was a large bus tour which meant quite a lot more waiting around for other members of the group and less ability to interact with the guides and tailor the experience on the day. Guatape was a nice town, also very busy, but this part of the tour was definitely a much more pleasant experience for us. The restaurant food for lunch was of very average quality, however.

Carlos was AMAZING! He had so much energy and was clearly very passionate about the nature in the area. He had so much knowledge and made the tour a very interesting and enjoyable experience. He was also infectiously entertaining. We would definitely recommend Carlos as a tour guide. Cocora Valley is beautiful and the coffee farm was also a great experience.

Pretty hike, guide was local and very friendly and knowledgeable.

Overall we enjoyed the experience, I think there was a small hiccup with the driver who didn't arrive. But, the tour guide did and she quickly arranged for her husband to collect us from the hotel and take us to the horses. We really enjoyed the scenery around Villa de Leyva, which was beautiful. The horse owners/ guides were very friendly.

Interesting and a nice stop on the way to Villa de Leyva. To the point out the obvious, it is a Cathedral, so the sculptures are all religious themed. - lots of crosses, this might not be for everyone. The cave itself is, however, very interesting.

Nicholas was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, excellent English and very friendly.

Our experience at the Parador was fantastic. The location is amazing with a stunning view of the pacific ocean. The staff was very friendly and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. It is our new favourite resort!

We personally loved this Ryad the most. It was like being at home. Amazing authenticity, good food and great hospitality. I especially loved our personal host, Abdul. He was respectful, thoughtful and very pleasant.

Wonderful accommodations, great city location, amazing architecture, superb food.

Very nice hotel. The pool area is right on the Nile. It's a perfect place to relax.

We were surprised how big it is. A lot more walking than expected but it's worth it to see one of the wonders of the world.

Seeing the tomb of Seti I was definitely the highlight. It's an expensive extra ticket but you get to see one of the best tombs with very few other visitors.

I loved that I had time to walk all around the Giza pyramids. Taking as much time as I wanted was definitely a plus of a private tour.

Dahshour was my favorite. Not a busy place at all. It's cool to see amazing pyramids with no crowds of people.

It was a long day because Abydos is far from Luxor. It's definitely worth seeing though.

This is a very cool place to see. Not a common stop so it's not crowded at all. Very unique to see where workers lived. The tomb of Nefertari was amazing to see. Well worth the extra ticket.

It was a very nice and relaxing end to a busy trip.

Breath taking views! Beautiful Spanish style hotel, outdoor dining, breakfast buffet and hiking near by. We watched the monkeys and birds from our balcony on early mornings. It was just great. Also hiked down to the beach one afternoon. It’s a wonderful place to stay. Need a car or cab if you leave the premises.

Pretty hotel, nice swimming pool and hot tube. Nice walking trail on the premises. We throughly enjoyed the dinner and sax player in the restaurant. The restaurant staff is amazing. Creative food! Bed was comfortable and staff very accommodating.

This hotel is not ideally located. If you want to go out you need to take a cab. Would prefer a hotel with the hot pools near by or at the hotel. Pay for this upgrade!

Fine for one night stay when leaving on a trip. Helpful staff. Breakfast stared a bit late at 7am. We had to leave the hotel by 6:30am
