We just returned from a most excellent trip Morocco that was booked through KimKim. We appreciated having a local specialist who could help us choose what to see and how best to schedule. Mohamed was very quick to respond and kept us on track to get the vacation scheduled. The hotels that were selected were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. We especially liked our two tour guides in Marakkesh - one for a food tour (Hannan), and the other for a general tour of Marakkesh and the Old City (Abdal). Our driver for the week, Tarik, was friendly and helpful. He was great about communicating and coordinating between the different activities and the hotels. For example, on our final morning, we took a most amazing hot air balloon ride outside Marakkech with Mathieu as our pilot. Tarik knew what time our flight was and communicated directly with the hot air balloon company to make sure that we finished in enough time to make it to the airport on time. There were many moving parts to our vacation and multiple parties involved - the local tour company, our driver, different hotels and and guides for individual activities, but having it all organized through KimKim helped it feel seamless.
Four stars only because we ended up feeling a wee bit overscheduled. This was our first time in Morocco and going into the trip we did not understand how much driving time was needed between locations. However, given the complexity of the trip, we were overall very satisfied.

Riad Nyla And Spa Marrakech

Lovely, tranquil spot with an excellent location in the medina. It truly felt like an oasis in the middle of the noise and chaos of the streets. Beautifully and elegantly decorated with an absolutely lovely rooftop deck. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. We even had a Nespresso machine in the room, which felt like a real treat (although we take this for granted in the US, this did not seems to be common in Morocco). The spa looked clean and elegant - unfortunately, we had a hammam pre-booked elsewhere, but in hindsight, I wish we had booked this at the hotel. The food was excellent - on the final night of the trip, we had a most elegant dinner on the rooftop deck. Would absolutely stay here again!!

AMAZING! Lovely, small hotel in the Dades Valley. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. There is a lovely rooftop deck and a beautiful pool in the courtyard. The food was amazing - definitely ranked as one of the best meals of our trip. The staff was so helpful and attended to our every need. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.

Out of all the hotels we stayed on our trip, this was not our favorite. The location was great, in the heart of the Fez medina. The lobby and inner courtyards were incredibly beautiful with a huge WOW factor. However, our room was very small and was an adjoining room to a larger suite (e.g. not enough room to open a suitcase on the floor). There was little to no soundproofing between the rooms, so we could hear things like light switches being turned on/off and our neighbor's electric toothbrush in the morning. There was only one very small window. The mattress was very hard, which may be typical, but nonetheless, it was not the best night's sleep. We changed rooms the second night, so it was not as noisy, but the second room was even smaller than the first. We could not get hot water in our room, no matter how long we ran the shower, so ended up showering in our kids' room. Food was excellent and the staff was very helpful.

Amazing experience. The tents are luxurious - comfortable beds, running water (hot and cold!) and both showers and flushing toilets in each tent. Remarkable set up in a desert!! A separate full dining tent. Even heated mattress pads to keep us warm on a very cold night! The folks running the camp were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a drumming circle by a campfire after dinner. Wished we could have stayed a second night.

Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride in Marrakech

The BEST. Don't miss this!! Very professional and we felt safe throughout the entire experience. Our pilot was French and very knowledgable. Other than when he was focused on flying, he spent lots of time explaining to us how the balloon worked and how he navigates. Scenery was spectacular. Highly, highly recommend.

This place was very busy - probably saw 15 people (mostly tourists like us) cycle through while we were there for 1.5-2 hours. We had never been to a hammam before and felt a little unprepared as to what to wear - we ended up wearing our underwear bottoms only, but it would have been better to have a bathing suit bottom (and top if you are uncomfortable with a bare chest around strangers). Massage was OK.

Our tour guide, Abdul (sp?), was great. He was very knowledgeable and energetic. He took us to multiple historic sites around Marakkech and then into the medina. He took us to a few shops that were better quality and gave us some tips for navigating the medina on our own.

Very long day in the car. Our driver made a few stops which helped to break up the day - a rose water cooperative, the Atlas Studio, the Aït Benhaddou kasbah and an argan oil cooperative. The day was already quite long, so we did not spend much time at each location. The drive through the Atlas mountains was absolutely spectacular, but we felt rushed because we wanted to get to Marakkech.

We arrived later than expected. However, our local guide made sure to feed us quickly (food was great) so that we had enough time for our hike before the sun set. He took us to see the local kasbahs and for a short hike through the 'monkey fingers' rock formations. Even though the sun had set, he instructed our driver to take us up the famous windy road into the Dades canyon area for a spectacular view over the valley. He was so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend!

Highly, highly recommend. The camel ride was SO. MUCH. FUN. No better way to see the dunes than on the back of a camel. It was so quiet and peaceful compared to the 4-wheelers. Two hours of the 'camel massage' was definitely enough for my backside, but I would not recommend any other method of transport in the desert!!

Kim Kim, Aracanto, and Margoth planned a great trip for our family to Colombia. We enjoyed Cartagena, Tayrona, coffee country, and Bogota. We had excellent guides in each region, and enjoyed staying in some very unique hotels. The trip was a nice mix of culture, nature, and adventure. Highlights - old city of Cartagena, monkeys in Tayrona, wax palms in Cocora Valley, and the funicular in Bogota. Thank you for a great trip!

An outstanding trip with Natalia preparing a wonderful itenerary and guides. Natalia was amazing - dealing with a 14 hour delayed arrival, which turned into landing at the same time as the Argentinian soccer team after winning the world cup (mass chaos at the airport and travel) to getting us safely to our hotel. The trip was designed perfectly for us - with Natalia creating a curated adventure - addressing areas we wanted to see and things we wanted to do. All the guides were great - Jessica Zimmerman in BA, Laura in Iguazu and Jorge in Salta. Each of them worked well with our family (adults and a 14 and 17 year old). Would highly recommend this team to anyone considering a trip to Argentina

I apologize for the late review for this trip to Norway. We enjoyed every minute of the trip and we were able to rely on the help of our guide and communication with Kim Kim along the way. We had one issue with our hotel in Oslo but KimKim went above and beyond in helping to find a better room which suited our needs as two independent women travelers.

Both Oslo and Bergen were memorable and of course the beautiful boat ride we took from Flam to Bergen through the Fjord country. I cannot wait to go back and see more of Norway. Thank you for making this part of our travels go smoothly and finding us such outstanding accommodations along the way. Traveling in off season (October) was a little rainy but mostly just perfect for seeing many things without crowds. We even had 3 perfect sunny days in Bergen!

We really enjoyed the pace and activities on our trip. The kids were not looking forward to the walking tour in Spain but Beatriz made it so much fun. The cooking class in Seville was wonderful too. So much fun for the whole family. The train rides to each destination was fun too. Between Seville and Granda we hiked/walked Caminito Del Rey. The kids really enjoyed this adventure. Each place we visited had something unique and memorable.

We had an amazing experience in Spain for the holidays! Yuri, our Kimkim specialist, was fantastic- flexible, patient and responsive. I cannot say enough about him- I was nervous at first booking a trip through this service- despite the reviews- because I was unfamiliar with Spain and also the idea that KimKim curated our experiences. That said, I would heartily recommend the service to anyone who is interested in traveling to a new-to-them location and wanting to have an authentic experience.
All of the tour guides provided to us- Laura for the Tapas tour in Madrid, Diana for the Toledo tour, Carlos for the trip to the White Villages and Ronda, to Nico (our family fave) for the in depth walking tour of Seville and Richard for the Montserrat Abbey experience- were amazing, knowledgeable, personable and warm. They were truly invested in the tours they gave- providing history, and context to the sights we saw.

This is a walking tour- so be prepared to walk! That said, everything was flat and easy to navigate

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at kimkim based in Iceland. During the planning phase, Francesca was highly communicative, accommodating, and responsive. Then, when we arrived in the midst of a blizzard and subsequent wind storm that forced all roads to close for 24+ hours, Sigurour was a godsend, helping us cancel and book and rebook and reroute all of the planned activities and hotel reservations that had to be changed without warning. He advised us on when and where to go, what to see, what to skip, etc. and was consistently available to respond to ever-shifting circumstances. I am a very experienced traveler, having lived abroad for most of my adult life, and juggling the logistics of this trip due to weather were beyond me. I am deeply grateful and appreciative for the flexibility, responsiveness, and kindness of the entire kimkim team and will treasure my memories of the adventure for a lifetime.

Ms. Jina and Ms. Yaya were great guides. The overall experience and everyone we had contact with was professional, helpful, and extremely welcoming.

Thank you Kim Kim for great organization and service of our private tour. It was worth it. All 3 guides; Ibrahim (Istanbul), Nihat (Cappadocia) & Tunc (Izmir region) were really personable and gave really informative tours, patient and attentive service for my elderly mum and her friend who came with a walking stick. We really enjoyed our time in Turkey; even more so in Cappadocia and Izmir region (Ephesus, Sirince & Pamukkale). We want to give special mention to Tunc who proactively helped organize a paragliding experience for me and also a hot air balloon ride in Pamukkale for us as we didn't manage to do it in Cappadocia due to foggy weather; he managed to cater to my expectations as well as my mum and her friend. Very commercial; not used to seeing so many tour groups after staying in boutique hotels our entire trip but the spa facilities were very good. The button of the toilet flush fell off and it took the concierge a bit of time to understand what happened before they manage to fix it.

We stayed in a cottage that comes with a huge common kitchen and dining room... looks amazing. Our room and bathroom is so charming, big but cozy; beautiful decoration. Breakfast with the view of Sirince was delicious and enjoyable. We wished we stayed a week instead of only a night at this beautiful place.

Where to start and what to say is not easy because words can’t necessarily do justice to how amazing of a trip was planned for us and the excellent treatment we received from both our trip planner Linda and our stellar tour guide Milton!
From the very start what made KimKim standout was how effective and efficient Linda was in communicating back and forth to understand what Stephanie and I were looking for in an experience. Linda surpassed all our expectations with the itinerary and the details that went into each day to make sure we got to enjoy a range of activities. Linda constantly checked on with us during the trip too in order to make sure everything was beyond satisfactory showing an awareness to go above and beyond…even with a surprise visit in person to give it the personal touch!!
For anyone that gets lucky enough to book a trip through Linda you will feel privileged!!
Milton as a tour guide only elevated our trip from there and his personality, photography skills, knowledge of the respective areas we visited, enthusiasm and ability to understand speaking English made it a SUPERB holiday!!! There’s sincerely not enough positive we can share about Milton in a review!!!
Two things comes to mind for anyone taking time to read this…one is Ecuador is incredible and is the most diverse and characteristic country this well travelled couple has been to and secondly you WILL want to ONLY book through Linda with KimKim. No matter if the investment is higher than other operators…the decision will be the best decision you could make for yourself!!!!

Landed in San Jose airport after a 3 hr delay in flight. Drove to Kokoro Resort at La Fortunat. Our overnight stay in Kokoro resort was good.Hiked the base of Arenal Volcano about to for about 3.5 hrs on lava rocks to top of volcano base and elevation of 3500ft.. Saw some venomous viper snakes in the parking lot curled up on the tree.
Melanie, our guide was very helpful since we were slower than rest of the young group Melanie walked with us. Was a beautiful hike, thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend to those who are interested in nature.
Lunch ar Indian restaurant was pretty good, especially after the challenging hike. In the evening the hot springs bath was relaxing. The Kokoro staff was helpful. Would recommend this resort.
We were transported by private bus, boat and car from Arenal to Monteverde. Very windy and cold place. We had a great time at Aventura park zip lining the 7 legs. It was an exhilarating experience for both of us since this was our first time. The town is hilly, and after a good meal it is good workout after a walk up and down the hills.
We had night hike in the rain forest of about 2 hrs The knowledgeable guide explained the flora and fauna that we spotted during the night. This is a recommended hike.
We were disappointed with Mar-Inn hotel. They wanted us to put the used toilet paper after defecation in the trash can in the restroom instead of flushing down the toilet.
The next day we were driven to Manuel Antonio. Nice drive from top of the hill to sea level becoming progressively warmer.
We had good 4 hr walk thru the National park Rain forest. We saw a variety of flora and fauna which the guide was explaining in detail, We spent some time on the beautiful Espedillo beach. We then went to Quepos for lunch and got back to the hotel.
The hotel Tibulia Tree was ok, like cabin on the hill nestled among tall trees, but is too far from the beach. Would have wanted it to be closer to the beach.
On the whole we had a good time. Kimkkim had made good arrangements for the trip except for those noted above(. I would recommend Kimkim for for trip planning.

I was impressed with the service and speed of Dennis in setting up my perfect honeymoon vacation. We planned a city (San Jose), mountain (Monteverde), and beach (Uvita) in Costa Rica and all went down without a hitch. The hotels that Dennis selected were perfect and customer-service oriented. The Grano de Oro Hotel (San Jose) was professional, quiet, and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast (casado) was delicious, along with a special dinner at the same restaurant. The El Establo Hotel (Monteverde) was also very organized. The Monteverde hotel scheduled us for an amazing night walk, and a wondrous hanging bridge hike. The private transfer drivers to each location were on-time and friendly. The biggest hangup to the vacation was getting there--we had a 10+ hour delay for our flight out of the U.S. Fortunately, the Whatsapp emergency line for GWA was fast, responsive, and accommodating. Dennis, Karla, and Mariana were all wonderful to help us keep on-schedule and in-contact with our hotels/drivers.
