I had a fantastic time. Sebastian did a great job putting together the itinerary and details of the trip. My tour guide, Julian, for the tour of the Paris Notre Dame Cathedral was wonderful. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the cathedral and its rebuilding after the fire. Notre Dame holds a special place in the world's heart. The fire was devastating and it was nice to see, that the cathedral looks better than ever.

I loved Reims. It is a beautiful city. The history of the place is awesome. Loved touring the city with Christine as she told the story of the city under Roman rule, to the birth of the France, the devastation of WWI and the rebuilding of the city.

Strasbourg is just so charming. It is an old city with buildings that date back to 1500's and beyond. The cathedral is so impressive. Loved the Alsace village tour with Penelope. She was fun and knowledgeable about all things Alsace.

The Hotel Bristol is in a prime location, near many eating establishments. Loved the room, loved the shower (these things are important when traveling, the hotel staff were great and the breakfast, which was included, was great. It was within easy walking distance from the train station.

A Half-Day tour in the Alsatian villages from Strasbourg

My guide, Penelope, was great. She drove us around to three different villages, making stops along the way. We walked around one of them, (not sure which one, they kind of looked alike). Penelope was entertaining and informative. She told us about local foods to try, restaurants to go to, and places to visit. She explained the local dilect as a mixture of French and German words. It was very charming. I would recommend the tour.

My city/cathedral tour with Christine was superb. We started with the building where the WWII surrender was signed and then onto the Mars gate, winding our way to the cathedral. Notre Dame in Reims was fantastic. I know that it was the place were virtually every French king was crowned. So much history, as Clovis was the bridge from the Roman Empire to a recognized French empire. It was nice to see that Reims Cathedral did not suffer the indignities of the French Revolution, that had to wait for WWI. Glad there were American philanthropists that decided Reims was worth rebuilding.

Paris: Illuminations Seine River Cruise

Wonderful relaxing introduction to the city. It was just what I needed after an overnight 10 hour flight.

Beatriz was responsive to our requests and adapted the itinerary several times. We stayed in 5 locations: loved Masseria le Carrube in Val D'Itria; also liked Masseria LuciaGiovanni in Lecce. Hotel Niklaus in Bari was modern and comfortable. Borgo SAn Gregorio in Avellino was wonderful. Only accomodation that was truly weird was hotel in Napoli: had to ride a freight elevator to get to the room, also pay for each elevator ride, then had to go to the floor above and walk down to get to our room, as the little elevator did not stop there. The ceiling of the room was papered with old newspapers, many with big water stains. It was well-located and staff friendly, but would not recommend it. Would recommend all the others. We tried several of Beatriz's restaurant recs and they were all really good. We especially liked how easy it was to access our itinerary on our phones, and ample info including parking advice was included, and it made the travel so much easier. We think she did a great job, and when she was not available someone else was easily contacted. We had to change several of our plans, and that was all taken care of without our having to hassle with it. Altogether a great trip! Thank you.

We had an unforgettable trip organized by Claire with the help of Rachel and Chloe. They arranged for us to stay in wonderful hotels and tour around Ireland for two weeks. Every day was just perfect but we particularly enjoyed the Guinness Storehouse Stoutie Experience, Kilmainham Gaol, the Cliffs of Moher, the ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park, live music at Sin e in Cork, the Jameson Distillery tour in Middleton with a premium tasting, the Ardmore Cliff Walk and lovely Cliff House Hotel, Galway City Museum and live music in The King’s Head pub, the Killary Sheep Dog Demonstration, Tullamore DEW distillery, and Dublinia museum. The trip ended with a great night of live music and Irish dancing in the Irish House Party. Could not have asked for a better trip, didn’t want it to end!

Peru Trip: All the guides (Tino, Sonya and Vanessa) were great. Very Knowledgeable and friendly. The entire trip was amazing. From the jungle of Puerto Maldonado, to Scared Valley, mountains of Mach Picchu, Cusco and coastal city of Lima. Food was delicious (except for most of the desserts - texture was too different for me). All the accommodations where different (which I liked) and very nice. Probably my most memorable places were the jungle tours and gorgeous canbanas. The yummy lunch at Mountain View with the beautiful views and adorable alpacas and llamas. The scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes and delicious authentic lunch in the beautiful garden of El Alberque along with demonstration were great. Breathtaking views and excitement of climbing Mach Picchu. City sites, tours and cooking class in Cusco were so much fun. While Lima was nice, it was my least favorite place. Just another big city. However, the museum and garden tour was a hidden gem. Definitely will use KimKim again.

Everything was great all three hotels were wonderful to stay at! The experiences were top notch, both Puerto Viejo and Arenal took our breath away

We were equally impressed with each new adventure that came along. Although there were a couple of hiccups, none of which were Kimkim's fault, Kristy quickly resolved the issues and each and every meet up and transfer went off at planned. The accommodations were perfect and the did was very good. What a great trip we had!!

The trip included a nice mix of rural and metropolitan Ireland and visits to four locations. The food, hotels and excursions were were well planned and allowed us to see alot of Ireland in a short period of time.

We are all appreciative of the agency and our family members who planned this lovely holiday. Cheers!

Another amazing trip to Iceland completed and once again, our local specialist Adam came through by going above and beyond in planning our trip. Adam never failed to show enthusiasm and did such a wonderful job planning our itinerary down to the last amazing detail with helpful suggestions, hidden gems and additional insights/places to check out along our routes. (Thanks for adding the bridges Adam, very interesting to see in my line of work!). We found his Google maps guiding us along with descriptions particularly helpful as well.
This was my third time using KimKim. As usual, everything was stress-free and hassle-free from the minute we landed to the minute we boarded our return flight home. Rental car, hotels and our excursions were taken care of with ease with very minimal issues.
Because Iceland is such a beautiful country with so much to see and do, especially during the busy summer tourist season, Adam broke down our journey by mapping our route into bits and pieces so we didn't feel overwhelmed. We were able to see areas we missed last time due to limited time and darkness (we went in December of 2023). We found surprises along our routes that became memorable (Troll Garden in Fossatun comes to mind) and yes, we were blessed to view the Aurora Borealis staying in Vik. Truly amazing.
Thank you very much Adam, you once again made this a very enjoyable and memorable trip for my wife and I. Your continued enthusiasm in the planning of our trip was a blessing and much appreciated. I sure hope to have you as a specialist again in the future when I make another return trip to the Land of Fire and Ice.

We traveled throughout Portugal for 14 days visiting Lisbon, Sintra, Obidos, Nazare, Porto, Evora, Lagos and Cascais in celebration of our 2nd wedding anniversary. Across Portugal and Joao were amazing to work with from planning through navigation during our two-week visit. Joao (and Diana) checked in with us daily via WhatsApp to provide a daily itinerary (even though we also had access via the portal). We've worked with other agencies through KimKim and Across Portugal was the first to check in on a daily basis. They seemed very much invested in our experience and provided excellence customer services. We received a wonderful welcome box with local Portuguese treats!

Joao worked with us to customize our trip to fit our interests and made tweaks along the way. We were also able to add a last-minute experience during our last couple of days of the trip. The trip was the perfect balance of excursion/experiences and rest/relaxation. All of the tour guides and drivers were very kind and both knowledgeable and proud of their country's history and heritage. Claudia (Lisbon) and Sara (Porto) were very knowledgeable and provided us with a wealth of information during our walking tours. L

In particular, Evo (and Ricardo) who was our guide/driver for several days in Porto and beyond, was particularly exceptional! He loves his city of Porto and Portugal and became like family by the end of the trip. Our experience to the Douro Valley (so unlike any other wine territory I've visited) was amazing an Evo was able to truly personalize the experience for us. Dinner with Locals was also a highlight for us as we were able to share an amazing meal prepared by Evo's mother. The food was amazing and the company even better! Porto was amazing and would recommend any trip to Portugal include 3-4 days in Porto. Luis- driver in Lisbon was also very friendly and accommodating.

Some highlights include: (1) Day trip to Sintra (Pena Palace was beautiful) (2) Fado dinner in Lisbon was such uniquely intimate and amazing experience. Despite some previous reviews, we thought the food was very good and the Port freely flowing! The Fado music was dramatic and moving. We loved it (3) Lisbon Winery (Vinho Verde) (4) Sandemann Port Tasting Tour was amazing (Joao even surprised us with a charcuterie board to the envy of other attendees- we shared with the table (5) Douro Valley day trip (6) Dinner with Locals in Porto (6) Lagos boat tour Ponta da Piedade and the boardwalk views along the coastline an (6) Comporta horseback riding day trip. Obidos was also lovely--loved the Ginjinha!

Food was amazing. Cataplana was incredible, sea bass and other fresh fish....and my new favorite pastry the Pastel de Nata (I may be having withdrawals)

All in all, it was an amazing trip and experience! Thanks to Joao and team for making it so personal!

Overall our trip was amazing! All the transportation service drivers were excellent, especially Ralph in Paris! We had a glitch in Paris with our meeting spot for one outing, the driver had one address, we had another and the ticket had yet another. The driver went above and beyond to get us to the right spot, even went in to make sure we were ok. In London we had some difficulties as there was a strike with the tube- underground. We had the wrong meeting spot for the Tower tour, caused us to miss that tour and had to get an Uber and pay for new tickets ourselves at the right spot. Kim Kim did re-imberse us for the uber which was great! Since the strike was planned and publicized well in advance, we would have appreciated a heads up as getting anywhere was a nightmare! At one point the Toot bus just stopped and took itself out of service for awhile because of gridlock. Our hotels in both London and Paris were wonderful! All of our tours were outstanding!

Anders and the team did a great job taking care of us. Things went very well and we had an amazing time! A couple issues were solved immediately by contacting the KimKim team on WhatsApp. We will use them again…

The KimKim team helped us with a 10 days trip to Greece and it was absolutely amazing! All our of activities were exactly what we were looking for, the accommodations were adorable boutique hotels in perfect locations for exploring the local scene. We visited four different locations (3 islands) so there were a lot of logistics involved between taxis, ferries and flights and everything incredibly smooth. When I did have a question on meeting location mid trip our POC had an answer for me in under 15 minutes. We would do this trip again and again! Can’t wait to plan our next trip via KimKim.

There is no AC and our room was damp and very musty. There are No lifts, porters and it’s a 3 story hotel with no handicap accessibility.

A Fully Bespoke Tour Day with a Private Driver Guide

Glasgow is a wonderful city with a tremendous amount to see. Our driver Robert changed our tour to a full day in Glasgow and we were happy he did. We saw Glasgow Cathedral, the burial grounds and he took us all around town. We ended the day at the Kelvingrove Museum. You could kill 4 hours there easy.

Isle of Skye was amazing. Donnan Castle is a Must see Castle. The scenery and castle are fabulous. I would highly recommend a private tour with a small group in a Sprinter Van. This is a trip that is far better with the visibility you get in a smaller van without worrying about driving

This was probably the best part of our trip! If you want to climb a glacier , this is the place to go ! Hurry though…. The ice is indeed melting!

Angela (Aggeliki) is the ultimate professional for planning a vacation! Her communication skills are excellent and very timely. It seems no matter when we had a question she'd reply quickly. Our trip to Greece was spectacular! We had just the right amount of activities and free time each day of our 10 day trip. Her ability to customize according to our desires is unmatched for any vacation I have ever had. The accommodations, transfers, excursions, restaurants and overall advice were spot on. We visited Athens, Kalabaka, Naxos and Santorini. Many locals were impressed with our visit to Kalabaka (Meteora) because so many people visit the islands and, besides Athens, forget about the rest of the mainland. There, with the amazing driver/guide, we visited incredible monasteries, did an awesome Hermit Caves Sunset Hiking Tour and a fun truffle hunting excursion. This cool dog hunts for truffles, digs them up and brings them to its owner. This was super cool! They had a whole set up in the brush where a chef prepared a penne, mushroom, garlic, white truffle oil meal with truffle shaving from the ones "we" found! In Athens, we did a great Mythology tour, visited the Acropolis and ate incredible food. Our Aegean Lush Bike tour in Naxos was such a blast! We rode electric bikes and toured all over this fantastic island which is largely self sustaining. That evening we had an amazing tour of old town Naxos and ate phenomenal food. On day 2 in Naxos, our private cruise was so cool! We visited Antiparos and Paros and our guide was so nice and informative, as all of guides were. In Santorini, we experienced an awesome sunset kayaking tour of the coastline. Our guide was simply astounding! Finally, our 8 hour tour of Santorini was so fun and we learned so much! All in all, this was our favorite vacation ever! We have been many places. In hindsight, it was Angela's skillful set up that made it so amazing! Greece is a special place with wonderful people and even better food! Angela lives there and is the premiere travel guide for anyone who is planning to visit Greece!

Reda was the absolute best guide I have ever had! My friend and I were taking a birthday trip and selected Morocco as our destination. From the moment we met Reda, we knew he was an excellent match for our style of travel. As experienced travelers, we knew what we wanted to focus on and what we could skip. Between KimKim's booking center and Reda's advice, we customized the trip to end all trips. We saw so much, were able to immerse ourselves with the people, and culture and got to see some hidden gems that you don't get with a big tour. It's been six months and I am still raving about the awesomeness of it all!

My husband and I, along with my two daughters and their spouses, just spent 2 weeks in Croatia and we had the most amazing time! Robi could not have organized a more perfect trip for us. Planning was so easy with Robi - always extremely responsive, thorough and communications were very clear and detailed. He organized all of our local travel. connections, accommadions as well as local guides for tours in Split and Dubrovnik (Peter and Paulina respectively, were also so knowledgeable, helpful and fun!). We loved the complete flexibility in the schedule, activities and personalized itinerary he created for us.

Highlight of our trip was definitely the 6 days we spent sailing and exploring the Dalmation coast on a catamaran with Robi and Borna visiting Ston, Mali Ston, Slano and the islands of Mljet (with its beautiful National Park), Sipan and Lopud to name a few. We visited wineries in the Peljesac wine region and discovered many incredible wines that we enjoyed throughout our trip. Lots of hiking, biking, walking and climbing countless fortress walls, tasting fresh oysters right out of the sea and soaking in the sun and spectacular scenery. Robi is an incredibly skilled captain and guide, taking us to many “hidden gems” along the coast for swimming, paddle boarding and exploring.

Great food was a priority for us and Robi made sure that we enjoyed a wide range of the best Croatian culinary experiences. His restaurant and food recommendations were fabulous. We sampled so many wonderful regional dishes (oysters, mussels, octopus, calamari, peka, black risotto, pasticada, cevapi, brodetto, and of course Ston cake!), at both charming local and fine dining establishments.

We have so many wonderful memories, we cannot thank Robi enough. He is so personable, fun, professional and passionate with such in-depth knowledge of Croatian history and culture. His top priority was for us to have a fun filled, stress free and safe holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed every single minute and we would strongly recommend kimkim and Robi's services and catamaran tour.

The trip was great and we had an amazing time. Everything was organized very well. The private and small group tours were excellent. I like to send special Thanks to Caroline one of our private tour guides. She was very helpful even the day after our tour. She gave us excellent recommendations.
I also like to Thank Liz for all her help in planning a great trip that was specific to us. She was very thoughtful and understanding and planned a great trip.
It was a pleasure to work with Liz. The other person I like to Thank is Greg. We appreciated his quick responses to our requests. He was great to work with and very helpful. Another quick shout out to Summer who immediately got back to us regarding a change of Hotel request.
Overall, this was a wonderful trip,very organized and enjoyable. This was our second trip planned through Kimmim team. I highly recommend them and look forward to planning our next trip with them!

The trip was scheduled on a day when there was major storm warning by local authorities to close all schools. This tour should have been canceled, but they refused to cancel and reschedule our tour. We did not get to do anything that was listed on the tour and just sat in a restaurant and watch the heavy storm and was brought back.
