My 3-weeks trip in Sri Lanka was very well designed by Dhanushka. It was highly comprehensive, full nature excursions and cultural activities that gave me a strong understanding of Sri Lanka’s rich history and appreciation for its diverse natural resources. Some of my favorite activities included the elephant safaris, Sigyria, village tours in Dambulla, tea plantation visits in Nuwara Eliya and hikes and waterfalls in Ella. My driver and guide Malinda was also extremely helpful with coming up with optional activities that met my interests and needs. Having a private driver and guide gave me a lot of flexibility and personalized attention and care as a single traveler. Every day of my trip was filled with wonderful surprises of new things to learn and enjoy about Sri Lanka. I loved my trip so much that I hope to come back again and explore parts I haven’t seen with Koon Holidays / Kim Kim.

This region is less mentioned by other tourists from itineraries I have seen online so I am really glad Dhanushka included in my itinerary. The natural beauty of this place is breathtaking with rolling hills of lush tea plantations, majestic mountains and lakes, and peaceful village life. I loved my tea plantation visits, learning the tea picking and making process, sampling a variety of tea and having high tea at Grand Hotel. Gregory Park area is absolutely gorgeous and the Horton Plains hike was amazing!

KimKim made the planning process easy for our medium sized group of young ladies to travel to Greece! Everywhere we went, there were taxis, boats, planes or rental cars ready for us with our name. Even when my sister met us in Athens (not a part of the main group), KimKim helped us coordinate with the tourism company to ensure my sister could join us that day. The girls agreed one of our favorite things was the WhatsApp group chat with your travel specialist while in country. Any issues that came up (minor), there was immediate responses, which helped us feel very safe. We accidentally flew in on the day of the Olympic Torch passing (we had no idea!) and our travel specialist reached out to recommend it (and it was great!). Trying to plan an island hopping trip of a foreign country couldn’t have been easier.

I would like to give 5 star + review for the KimKim agency for our recent nine day trip in Turkey. Prior to booking this trip I have engaged several travel agencies; the experience with Kim Kim was markedly different. I am particularly grateful to Berat, our local specialist. Before I booked this trip, Berat worked diligently and tirelessly with me to figure out our itinerary, lodging, excursions, flights, transfers etc. This is A LOT of work which differentiated Barat from other travel agents I was communicating with. The trip was absolutely fabulous. Everything went as planned, there were no any issues. We liked all the hotels; our guides were personally pleasant and very knowledgeable, all car transfers were on time, the were no issues whatsoever with any of the airline flights booked by Kim Kim. During the itinerary planning process, I had some ideas but Berat also had suggestions and I'm very happy that I took her suggestions because they were absolutely fabulous. She really knows what she is doing and can go out of her way to make things happen.
I can highly recommend Kim Kim and Berat in particular, it is a great value for money.

Amanda helped us plan an incredible vacation to Kathmandu and Bhutan. We had knowledgeable guides on every date of our stay, and were taken care of from airport pick-up to drop off. The itineraries were easily customizable based on our interests (even including a trip to a middle school I attended), and there was both plenty of sightseeing as well as down time. Would highly recommend booking with KimKim!

I was apprehensive about using KimKim but because I’ve never been to Europe I thought it would be beneficial to get some assistance with the booking of hotels and itinerary. The tour guides were awesome. We had a cooking class in Paris that was a great experience. We went shopping in the market then back to her

This was such an amazing experience. Our chef was awesome. We went to the market to shop for all our ingredients. She was very knowledgeable. She educated us on special crops and history of French food. We went back to her place to cook. She gave us step by step instruction and had our Delicous meal together. The trip was super memorable from the beginning to end.

Isa was amazing from the very beginning. She understood our need to have private tours to learn about meso-american civilization and culture.

Luz Ma fantastic as well and was constantly in touch via WhatsApp. She helped us with daily questions and resolving daily issues.

Our tour guides Louis and Guadalupe for Teotiuhacan and Cholula were great. Appreciate their professionalism and knowledge.

Then comes Manuel, our tour guide for the majority of our stay in the Yucatan and Mayan sites. He became my Mayan brother. He further customized our trip as per our need on the go. We would love to do more trips with him.

Finally, our tour guides at Punta Lagoona, Enrique and at Muyil, Memo made some indelible impression for this trip.

This was the best and the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed during our trip. Great room, comfortable, big, open design, separated from the bathrooms. Eco friendly yet they cleaned everyday. It was within the boundary of a national park and Tulum archaelogical site. This made it more private, a bit secluded, and safe. I loved it. Extremely friendly folks and great service including room service.

This was the first time I’ve used a planning service, and couldn’t have been happier with the results! The plan covered so much of southern Norway in a short period, I never would have accomplished as much on my own. Even packing so much in, we never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Our dinner at Cornelius in Bergen, the private sauna in Flåm, and the Amerikalinjen Hotel in Oslo were highlights that the KimKim team added to our adventure. Thank you to Mar, Fenne, and Julia for your diligent planning, outreach, and responsiveness during our wonderful Norwegian adventure!

We used kimkim because we didn't have a ton of time to plan the logistics of hoping so over Peru ourselves. So glad we did! Nicholas included little gems like visiting the Amaru Community that we never would've found ourselves. And when we had an issue with missing a connecting flight, the team was with us every step in figuring out Plan B. Best of all, every guide we had--especially Guido for Machu Picchu--was top notch. The guides were local, very knowledgeable, and willing to share cultural explanations and advice. I would definitely use kimkim to book another trip.

The lamb and pork were really dry. Not sure if it was supposed to be that way or if they should've used larger cuts of meat. More carrots and fava beans wouldn't hurt. Loved everything else though, especially the chicken, salad, sauces, and beverages. Overall, it was about the experience, so I didn't mind the dry meat, but the dry pork/lamb was the only thing that wasn't perfect.

We had a fantastic time in Norway! The itinerary suggested by kimkim was terrific and filled with hidden gems that we otherwise would not have discovered (walking tour of Bergen, floating sauna in Flam, 5-course seafood dinner at Cornelius, Norway in a Nutshell, restaurant suggestions, the list goes on). Our transportation was seamless. Hotels were spacicious, unique and charming, and in central locations. We highly recommend kimkim. Very responsive and helpful.
We can't wait to plan our next vacation with them!

This is our second trip with Kimkim and after a wonderful trip to Ireland last summer, they did not disappoint this time around as we headed to Italy, it was wonderful once again!
The planning ahead of the trip was very detailed and took a couple of meetings, but our specialist listened very closely to what we had in mind and put together a wonderful itinerary.
In terms of execution of our plan, the travel team was extremely thorough and conscientious and engaged, easy to contact and their attention to detail was so impressive.
During our trip, we had to change plans because of weather, but our travel team as well as our local guide were on top of it and very flexible. We were able to adjust our plans to the weather with some wonderful alternative activities.
Another great experience with Kimkim and their local specialists and we plan to use them again !

Our first tours featured Canterbury Cathedral, Dover Castle, Portsmouth Dockyards and Stonehenge from Eastbourne. Excellent guide David Canterbury.
In ancient York, the breathtaking Cathedral, the Roman Walls, the Shambles, the lively city centre, (Alfred, John) were highlights, along with trips to James Herriot Country with guide Chris* and a ride on the steam railway from Whitby with Mark.
Back in London, an amazing walking tour of the city centre with Dave Lombardi, a dinner cruise on the Thames and tea at the Ritz are all rated 10/10.
All of our tour guides and drivers were excellent. The underground and railway systems were very manageable.
We recommend the One Tun Pub and Rooms in London and #34 Bed and Breakfast in York.

We had the most amazing time - all carefully and thoughtfullyborchestrated by Erini. Even when we had a question about transportation, that texts to Jessica were always answered quickly. Thank you! Our guide, Anna, in Cortina was perfect. She gets rave reviews from us. We wished we had a second day with her, but her father passed away. So very sad - please send our condolences. Our second guide was a friend of Anna, and took us to the most beautiful hiking spot - a breathtaking waterfall - and then on to a locals spit for lunch. Loved the interaction with the working men who came there for lunch. We highly recommend it, but can’t remember the name, sorry.
Our guide, Marta, in Santa Margherita, was also very attentive to us, and we hiked up an ancient trail down into Portofino area, where we caught a boat back. The little ‘mill restaurant with all organic and home grown products’ was a highlight along that trail. We tried almost everything on the menu - delicious.
The Cinque Terre was everything we had been told and more. We did manage to snag a sunset boat tour two nights - one private and one with a group. I do love time on the water.
Our accommodations were literally perfect, except for the last room booked for Lauren in Milan. Our hotels were all lovely. Our favorite was the Hotel de Len in Cortina. All of the hotel booked for Julie and I were amazing - all different, but similar in their attentiveness to guests.
The cooking classes were over the top - literally! We actually snuck in an additional class of making ravioli (or causinza) in Cortina. So fun! The pesto experience and location were fabulous! The home cooking class was so very comfortable and delicious. Such a ‘home’ feel. Loved it!
Since we are hikers, the trails were some of our favorite times, and of course the wine. ❤️

Another perfect trip arranged by Josee!
This was my second trip to France arranged with KimKim - the support and service have been so remarkable we already have a third trip planned.
The selection of accommodations are excellent. In Paris with so many beautiful boutique options, Josee provided a select few to choose from all perfect for my identified needs and wants. So perfect it’s hard to pick but you cannot go wrong in the end.
The reliability and security of the arranged transportation is my favourite feature.
On this trip we had a chocolate and pastry tour of Saint Germain des Pres- which was so much fun. The pastries featured were outstanding! So much so my daughter went back the following day to try some treats again! We lucked out and were the only two in our group which made it feel like we were walking around with a friend not a guide!
We spent a lovely rainy day in touring Reims and the Champagne region! Despite the downpour all day it was so much fun.
The hand selected activities offered to us by Josee were perfect for our trip. This was my daughter’s first trip to Paris… and will not be her last.. she fell in love with Paris… with a large part of that reason due to the perfect itinerary arranged for her! It was a perfect trip, thanks so much for them memories KimKim!

We enjoyed this experience so much last year - was a highlight of last years trip.. I wanted to share with my daughter on this year’s trip. Unfortunately, while still enjoyable I would say the food quality was less than last year, the live entertainment was good- but so loud. It was a struggle to hear my daughter across our small table for two.. and she struggled to hear me so it was not just my aging ears! Service was fast.. and efficient but not as pleasant than last year. When we arrived back at the dock there was approximately 25 people hovering around the door to waiting to disembark, we were 2 of them. This was not the case last July when we took the same cruise. The boat is comfortable and enjoyable to be on.. and the cruise in the evening is a beautiful ride.

It was obvious food had been plated hours before, you could see a change in colour and skin on outside of cold food as if it had been exposed to the air for sometime. I had the veal as a main, which was cold.. cold to the touch even. I did not send back as our waiter never returned.

This was my first experience using KimKim and Bruno did not disappoint. He was able to create an itinerary tailored to my interests. He curated a wonderful experience for me and was available both before and during the trip to answer any questions. Bruno gave me spot on restaurant and bar recommendations which I really enjoyed.

I took the boat to the park entrance and then decided to walk back to town. It was an easy hike. The views from Ozidana Caves were amazing but the steps a little brutal in the beating sun.

I enjoyed going to Montenegro, it is definitely a different experience to both Croatia and Slovenia. There were several cruise ships in port making it very crowded in a few locations.

Where to start on our Mother & Daughter trip to Japan...

My daughter Rose and I were fortunate enough to spend just over 3 weeks travelling to Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka, Mount Koya, Okayama, Naoshima and Hiroshima.
I came across KimKim when looking for Japan travel itineraries while trying to plan this excursion myself. Apart from the fact I had left it very last minute in an extremely busy Cherry Blossom season we also had specific experiences and attractions we wished to incorporate; I decided to give Kimkim a ring!!
The best decision I made as was put in touch with Sandy who put together an itinerary which included accomodation, travel and daily schedules, amazing.
Sandy took into account and included all our travel requests and more linking it all up in a comfortable travel package. I also liked the fact that even though this was a planned itinerary we also had a lot of free self-guided time, this made it more relaxing and gave us extra time where needed.
I cant thank or recommend Sandy enough as we would not have seen or had the experiences we did if we had of planned ourselves.

No single word can adequately describe our recent Portugal trip unless that word is "Perfect"! Raquel planned informative, historic, scenic, and entertaining tours using outstanding guides. She attended to every detail so that we could relax and enjoy our vacation. The Kim Kim team gets my vote!

Had a fantastic trip to New Zealand, with nice accommodations and great itinerary. Paula did listen well, worked with our budget, and came up with a really enjoyable trip. We were well taken care of and would certainly love to work with her again on our next trip.

Our trip started in Bangkok where we met our guide Yee. She was fantastic. Her English was excellent, and was so accommodating. The catered to our interest and went at a perfect pace. The temples were amazing, but Yee was the highlight because she offered such great information on history, background and culture of Thailand. I can’t think of a better way to start our holiday. All of our domestic transfers on Bangkok airways were great. We learned how to register an extra bag online after first flight. Tina was great throughout the trip and responsive to any last minute questions we had. We love Koh Samui and diving in Koh Tao. Another unexpected highlight of the trip was John Gray canoe tour in Phang Nga Bay. There are so many excellent things to say about this tour. The environment, the crew, the vessel, our guide Josef, the food and Krathong flowers. It is had to describe the experience in words, but this is a must for anyone in the region. We enjoyed our time in Phuket, we made it to Similians and Phi Phi. We had a late flight on departure day and Tina helped with extending our driver. We had not made it to BigBuddha and he took us there and to Old Phuket town on our way to the airport. A great way to wrap the trip.
