Nearly perfect vacation

The night hike was disappointing as it was really more of a garden than a jungle.

Everyone at the Hideaway was gracious, helpful and attentive. Also, the food was very good.

The river rafting trip was great from beginning to end.

Marc did a great job in planning this trip and dealing with the flight changes that were necessary. Everything went very smoothly. Our guide on the Super Deluxe Klotok, Jeffrey was very knowledgable especially about the birds and monkeys we saw. The boat crew were excellent and went out of their way to point out birds and animals along the way and Cookie made very tasty meals.

Overall our trip to Morocco was wonderful. Loved the country, the culture and the people we met. There were a few issues on the trip. The drivers were changed without giving us notice ahead of time . Upon arrival at the airport, we discovered that we had a new driver. Mustapha Azigane was great driver for the trip. He was very personable, knowledgeable and handled all the questions we through at him, always on time, and had a great vehicle. Liked the SUV for easy in and out of the vehicle and to roll down the window to take some picture in route. Then we were advised on our drive to Marrakech we would have a new driver but we made sure Mustapha gave us the walking tour guide contact info and our new driver info. Yassine Hajjij drove us to Essaouira and then the airport the next day and he was fabulous.
The itinerary was good but we were disappointed when we found out on our way to Fes by other travellers that the medina would be shut down for the holiday the next day. The driver checked and said our tour was still on but we missed a lot of things that I found out after. Given that Meknes had all the sites closed, we could have arrived in Fes sooner and toured the medina when it was open. Or the itinerary could have been adjusted accordingly as we could have changed our dates had we known this. The major disappointment was the itinerary said we would have the option to take the camels or 4 x 4 from the desert camp back to the hotel to meet our driver. We were not given that option. We were told the night before that it was 4 x 4. Also the itinerary said there would be entertainment at the desert camp and there was none. Another couple at the site also commented on these things as they also had their tour done by Wendy. The itinerary was not clear on lunches and dinners that were included which luckily our driver advised us (i.e. Fes lunch and Ouarzazate dinner) and we started asking each day after the first time it happened. There are a couple of things I would change on the itinerary but again overall it was an amazing trip. Highly recommend travelling to Morocco.

Visited the Amalfi Coast and Sicily in October. Deborah was a delight to work with, very quick to understand what we were looking for on our trip and super responsive to many changes along the way, even last minute ones. Hotels selected were all excellent, tours well organized and transfers always on time. We especially loved Lara's enthusiastic tour of Palermo. She clearly was proud of her Sicilian home! Small touches added in celebration of an anniversary while there made it very special.
Perhaps we could have organized some things at a lower cost, however the overall package (which we could not have duplicated without detailed prior knowledge of the regions) and stress free travel made it all worthwhile. Highly recommended.

Joel and his team helped make our honeymoon absolutely unforgettable! They handled every single detail for us over our 2 week trip to France. All of their local partners were exceptional--the hotels and tour companies they chose to work with. On our relaxation days we frequently found ourselves trusting Joel's travel suggestions for restaurants and attractions. They even helped us mid-trip when we ran into logistical issues with arriving on time for some of the tours. Where do I begin? Marisa and her team knocked our trip out of the park! They were able to design a trip that incorporated every aspect that we wanted in the short amount of time that we had. The Kim Kim app made it easy to go back and forth to make adjustments and when the time came for our trip it served as a great resource for our daily itineraries.
When we arrived in Portugal Marisa and her team then went above and beyond and created a WhatsApp chat so that we could communicate on a daily basis. This was a lifesaver on numerous occasions.
I highly recommend the service as we had a trip of a lifetime. We felt safe and supported at all times.

We had an amazing trip in Argentina and Chile for our honeymoon thanks to Camila, who was great to work with and happily handled all of our annoying requests to totally change locations, activities, trip dates, and more. Everything went off without a hitch during the trip as well, including airport pickups, transfers between locations, and all of our guided activities. Camila even helped us arrange a pickup from a totally different airport at a different time when we decided at the last minute to change to an earlier flight to Buenos Aires. We will definitely be working with Camila for our next trip to Argentina!

My husband and I used KimKim to plan our honeymoon in Italy. We had an incredible time! Everything was curated perfectly for us. Transportation was a breeze, exploring on our own was safe and easy, all of our hotels were lovely, and all of the guided activities were incredible as the guides were knowledgeable and fun. There was also a good balance between touristy activities and downtime for us to do anything else we wanted to do. Bring good shoes because there is so much to see and do within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the tour of Vatican City, the Colosseum, and the drive through Chianti and Sienna. The food tour in Florence is also a must.

Eirini was our local specialist and made sure every part of our trip went smoothly. Thank you for making this a trip of a lifetime for us.

Our trip had its ups and downs, but overall we enjoyed it very much. The mythology walk of the Acropolis was great; the guide was very knowledgeable and the sights were amazing. We did get off to a rough start though because our Uber dropped us off at the wrong place, so we were late in joining the rest of the group, but the guide was very accommodating and let us join the tour. The tickets to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, and Ancient Agora were supposed to be included in the tour, but we had to purchase our own, which wasn't a big deal. The Athens food tour was definitely our favorite. The food we tried was incredible. The guide, Dorella, was very laid back and friendly, and the other people on the tour were nice to talk to. Our cooking class in Naxos was held in a farm and we got to see some of the animals and even feed them. That was a highlight for us. The instructor was very friendly. I do wish the meal we had cooked was a bit more complex though. I felt the one we made - stuffed vegetables - was too easy and basic considering the price of the class. The sailing tour in Milos was absolutely beautiful. The water was gorgeous and we got to see caves once used by pirates, which was really fun. The 2 people running the tour were super nice and knowledgeable about the history of Milos. The ferry to get from Naxos to Milos was a terrible experience though. I wish we would've been told that the ferry to Milos tends to be late. Had we known this, we might've opted for a domestic flight. All of the drivers scheduled by kimkim were great - always on time and considerate. Despite some hiccups, we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning to Greece sometime in the future.

It was beyond great to have our own private driver pick us up at the airport and spend the next two weeks with! Tariq was a really good driver and I felt safe with him driving us around Morocco! No easy feat! He was friendly and so good to us. It would have been helpful if his English was a little better, I think some of our questions were lost on him, as he did not understand what we were asking him, but he more than made up for it in personality! We had asked for 4.5 or 5 star hotels and all with the exception of one were really nice. The second night of our trip in Asilah our hotel got changed due to an event at our original booked hotel. The replacement was less than a 3 star, although was advertised as a 4 star online. That was pretty disappointing after we walked by our original booked hotel and saw that it was more in line with where our other reservations were! The rest of our hotels were wonderful with special mention La Maison Arabe Hotel in Marrakesh was spectacular and we were grateful to have spent 3 nights there. Our trip was pretty action packed with tours (maybe a little too action packed some days) and what we saw so I will highlight a few things we really loved. We began at the Sofitel in Casablance, beautiful hotel, excellent restaurant. We spent our first and last night here. The first night the restaurant was excellent. The female server fantastic, food amazing. Our last night service, non existent, 3 men serving, not a great experience, but again the food was excellent. The breakfast is fantastic!

Our guide Khalid in Tangier was excellent good English and really knowledgeable. The Riad Mokhtar in Tangier also lovely! The restaurant in the Riad was also excellent, a great location too. Chefchaouen is an experience you have to have. The Lina Ryad & Spa is also lovely, you have to bring your own wine for dinner, food was good and the wood burning fireplace in the dining room was so cozy! Excellent breakfast too! Our tour guide Abdul was charming, English was a little challenged, but made up for it in enthusiasm.

We stopped at the Roman ruins on the way to Fes, our guide's English was minimal and he spoke very fast so I had a hard time catching a lot of his explanation. We stayed at the Palais Amani in Fes. It is beautiful. We did have an issue. They clean the rooms with Orange Blossom scented cleaning products and it was so strong in our room that we had to change rooms in the night because we were both ill from the strong scent. The hotel was extremely accommodating moving us and then cleaning our room, all of bedding replaced the next am so the smell was less the next night, but it is very strong in this hotel. If you are at all sensitive to scents its pretty overwhelming. The restaurant in the hotel is very expensive. The location is awesome just inside the walls of the Medina. We had a fantastic guide Sharif for our tour of Fes, his English was great and his knowledge excellent! We also had dinner with a local family. This was so nice and they were incredibly welcoming and made us a fantastic traditional meal! I love Hara soup!

We spent two days at the Tiziri Luxury Camp in the Sahara! We road camels into the desert watched the sunset over the dunes and carried on in the quiet dusk to the camp! I will always remember the quiet peacefulness of that ride. The camp is fabulous! Mustafa and Yousef are fantastic hosts. The food was amazing and the whole experience was so memorable. I love how proud they are of their culture and so willing to share history and stories. The owner of the camp should stay out of the gin if he is going to interact with his guests! We had a stop at Ait Benhaddou it was pretty cool to see where many movies have been filmed. The drive through the High Atlas Mountains was spectacular! Again I was grateful for our driver Tariq he is skilled and we always felt safe with him!

La Maison Arable Hotel in Marrakesh lives up to its reputation! It was such an amazing Riad. We had a private garden area outside our three rooms to gather. The hotel is beautiful and the staff amazing truly! The restaurant was so good we ate there 2/3 nights, breakfasts fantastic. The location is great 10 min walk the markets. We had a food tour here with Hanan. She was our favorite guide of the whole trip! We also had her for our Medina market tour the next day and spent 6 hrs with her. Her English is impecable, she is gracious and kind, and extremely knowledgable about her country and proud of her heritage. She went above and beyond to help us with some of our shopping wishes!

Our hotel in Essaouira Le Medina Essaouira Thalassa Sea & Spa was beautiful. The pool area is really nice. The hotel restaurant across the street was great, breakfast at the hotel was ok.

Overall this was an amazing vacation, and we stayed in some beautiful places. Kim Kim did a great job in planning our route and our hotels with the exception of one, in 15 nights that's pretty good. I would definitely travel with them again!

Linda organised a great trip to the Galápagos and Quito.. We went back and forth in what would suit us best. Linda was very patient throughout the process and didn’t hesitate to call to discuss queries. It was great that she came to the hotel in Quito to meet us so that we could put a face to the name.
Our guide Sebastian and his father Alexander who picked us up from the airport were fabulous.
They were knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure everyone in our group was catered for. Our thanks to the whole team for a truly great experience and holiday.

My trip to Ecuador was a blast!!
Mathias did a great job drawing out a 13-day itinerary, tailored to my interests. The one-on-one guides, naturalist, and drivers were professional and fantastic except one who was soon replaced by Authentic. The group boat tours at Galapagos were even more exciting; loved seeing many sea birds and animals. The experiences are unforgetable.
I highly recommend this itinerary, showing one the city Quito, the equator origin, the highland Cotopaxi national park, the green Mindo, and the oceanic islands of Galapagos!

Louise was great to work with in planning my trip. With the exception of one lodging place, I give KimKim an A for the overall trip.
I visited so many incredible places- Glow Worm Cave, Doubtful Sound, Milford Sound, Otega Regional Wine Tour, Hiking Trails, Wharf in Queenstown!!
This was my second trip to NZ and it was worth seeing again. The citizens of NZ are the friendliest and sweetest people I’ve ever met in all my travels. The country is one postcard after another - even the retail areas are nice. Public bathrooms are cleaner than most peoples homes!!! You can just tell these people love the tourism as it provides the majority of their lifestyle. All other countries with this much tourism should use NZ as a model.
People in the states - stop going on the same ole vacation year after year - go to NZ. It’s a lifetime vacation and one that you will remember forever.

He designed our mother-daughter dream trip with care and attention to detail. On our last evening, Olivier planned a river cruise on the Seine and added in a surprise birthday cake delivered by the crew. Who could ask for more?

This hotel was the home of a famous French writer. Our room was on the fifth floor with a private hallway. It had exposed wooden beams and was beautifully decorated. There was even a welcome sign on the screen of the Television that was personalized for us.

The location is right near the river and Notre Dame. Also on the edge of the Latin Quarter which we always love.
