Wonderful vacation in Colombia!

Margoth made every effort to understand what we were looking for and did an amazing job planning out the itinerary in detail. I had a mix of phone/email interactions to finalize our plans.

We had a mix of city, culture and nature in Cartagena, Medellin and Bogota. Every local guide was knowledgeable and keen to ensure that we got the full experience. The drivers too were experienced and professional.

It was fun to go to the cooking class and rum tasting in Cartagena! They were quite different experiences.

Margoth and her colleagues made excellent restaurant recommendations and were super responsive to make changes.

This is my 4th trip with KimKim and it reaffirmed why I use them. They take away the stress of planning, safety, and dealing with situations on the ground. It allows us to really enjoy the local place, people and experiences.

We spent three weeks in Spain and Portugal, following the Jewels of itinerary with a few changes/additions. The cities and tour plans for each were great, we really came away with an appreciation for the countries. Marta did a great job lining up interesting tour guides and qualified drivers. As with any vacation, especially one of this length and diversity, you are going to have some issues. Marta was always available and very quick and capable of handling the necessary adjustments. We were able to relax and enjoy the experiences. Particularly enjoyed our time with Telma in Evora.

Our trip to Peru was planned to perfection. It could not have been better. The communication was impeccable, Liz responded to all my messages immediately. Every driver and every guide were on time for all excursions. All the staff in our hotel Casa San Blas were so attentive and made our stay very comfortable. All the details were handled and all we had to do was enjoy. From the food to the excursions Peru was a trip to remember.

Overall it was an amazing trip!! Krista and the entire KimKim staff that we interacted with were always extremely helpful and responsive.

Best part of using KimKim: having all of the train and excursion tickets taken care of. Loved not having to worry about train connections, or seats, or ensuring we were taking an excursion that was reputable.

One challenge with KimKim: Hotels. One two different occasions, the hotel could not find our reservation - in one instance even with the confirmation number. We ultimately figured it out - the reservations were under a KimKim employee's name - but that name didn't show up anywhere on our itinerary. I'd highly recommend adding all names associated with a trip to that individual itinerary. It creates a bit of frustration when trying to get to one's room after traveling.

We also had to pay for one of our rooms upon arrival. KimKim did refund the money quickly - thank you. One last thing on the hotels, the individual room at our last hotel as extremely small (the double was as well as but not quite as bad) - I would have paid a bit more to get a larger room. Possibly being given a few more options on hotels would be nice.

So overall, fabulous trip - loved the train ride, especially the Flam railway as well as the Fjord cruise. Funicular in Bergen was great and beautiful easy walk down.

We consider ourselves lucky when thinking of our trip to Portugal (everything seemed to work out better than we hoped) - but, I know this experience was less to do with luck and more to do with the effort and planning invested in our trip by Rita and her team. We had amazing guides who were generous with their time, and deeply listened to what we liked and wanted to experience and were happy to accommodat our desires with their local knowledge to deliver an amazing experience which we could never have had without their input and guidance. Rita has been phenomenal throughout. Extremely responsive and accommodating. It was hugely reassuring having her to call on, during the trip.

Jason Kearney provided us with everything we would have wanted in our itinerary. He was an incredible support throughout our trip and answered all the questions/concerns promptly. I believe his availability and willingness made our trip memorable! He was just awesome!!
We had two tour guides: Francisco (Santiago, Valparaiso) and Christian (San Pedro de Atacama). Both of them made our trip stress-free and totally enjoyable. Their knowledge of the towns, restaurants and landscapes was invaluable. We could not have asked for two better individuals ferrying us around!
We also had a guide (unfortunately, cannot recall her name) to the geysers ~ again, an outstanding source of information and and very environmentally conscious!
Overall, everyone starting with Jason worked together (including the drivers - Cristian and Jose) to make our journey in Chile an unforgettable experience!!

Both our local guides were excellent. They were knowledgeable and assisted us with transportation issues. The local tour company did not communicate clearly to them or myself about a driver from Tokyo hotel to the airport. I’m not sure where the break down in communication was. Our local guide Yumi, went beyond what I expected by giving us details about train and bus transportation to the airport in Tokyo. She even noted that a driver was not included on her itinerary.

Anna did a fantastic job of finding us hotels and experiences along the way that fit our car tour of Norway. We followed the schedule that we agreed on with Anna and it worked out perfectly. We saw those things that were high on our list and also had the confidence that each day we would end up at a good hotel and know what we were doing the next day. Made all those "when do we leave in the morning?" conversations so easy: just look it up on Anna's schedule. Plus, all the addresses were great for inputing into our car's navigation system. So easy!

We had such a wonderful trip to Colombia thanks to David and his team. We stayed 2 nights each in Bogota, Salento, Tayrona, and Medellin. We loved the diversity in experiences from cities and cultural tours to beaches, forests, and mountains. Overall, the service was great at all hotels. We always felt safe and really appreciated that there was always a driver waiting for us during airport transfers. The only thing we would change, if possible, would be to decrease the number of flights - have direct flights instead of connections. We've written about a few highlights of the trip below:

Bogota: 1) Fabiola greeted us warmly at the airport and showed us around the highlights in the city. In addition to the various tours she guided us on, she helped me get set up with a Colombian sim card. We enjoyed learning about the city from her and also practicing our Spanish with her. 2) Highly recommend the fruit tour. The guide, Maria, is exceptionally knowledgeable about everything in the market. We loved her passion for biodiversity and our immersive experience learning about the different species of fruits. 3) We enjoyed the hike in Chingaza for beautiful plants, flowers, and landscapes, It was very muddy and rainy, which was actually a fun challenge for us!

Salento: We loved our hotel. The views were beautiful and the food was delicious. Our tour guide, Carlos, gave us a wonderful tour of the Cocora Valley, pointing out many birds and giving explanations of the plants. He showed us his family's work-in-progress DIY infusion cafe and created a delicious tea for us with herbs grown in the garden.

Tayrona: Hotel had amazing food and we enjoyed hanging out by the pool after hiking in Tayrona Park. We were happy to pick mangos from the hotel garden and eat them for dessert.

Medellin: Sebastian led us on a wonderful "transformation" tour of Medellin. We learned so much from him on the history and culture of Medellin. Highly recommend him as a guide for anyone visiting Medellin.

I seldom write reviews, but in this instance I knew that I needed to let anyone know that booking our honeymoon through this site was the best decision for us. I would recommend and will continue to do so to whoever is looking to book an international trip. We could not have asked for better communication between our specialist or the ease of traveling to multiple destinations within Greece. Aggeliki made this whole experience exceptional!! She had all the transfers already planned out to and from the ports along with airport travel, this was the most stressful part for me going into the trip, but truly ended up being a breeze because of her. We did have a small miscommunication between us and one of our drivers, but was able to quickly get in touch with Aggeliki who solved it on the spot! The planning process was so easy and she was willing to give us her honest opinion on what to skip and what not to miss!! We had a wonderful trip to France! Mathilde worked diligently to fit everything we wanted into our ambitious schedule. I highly recommend KimKim if you are planning a trip to Norway! I typically do a lot of research on my own and plan my own travel. However, pressed for planning time and wanting to really maximize our 7 days in Norway, I came across KimKim and decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did! It was so easy to correspond electronically, our dedicated specialist quickly put together an itinerary based on our profile and interests and then modified it slightly after our review based on our input. Ethel coordinated our transportation (trains, boats, and car service!), accommodations (and it was not a problem that we had already booked our Oslo hotel) and many excursions (tours, fishing, museums etc). I was also provided the 24 hour contact person of someone in Norway for emergencies/last minute questions. Norway was amazing and KimKim was a delight to work with and well worth the small fee.

This was our first experience using Kimkim to support our family trip to Croatia. We did not know what to expect and where a bit nervous at the beginning. Nikola arranged for a phone call and right away we were feeling more at ease. He was listening to our concerns and answered all our question. Then, he provided us with an itinerary and we could discuss and adapt things as needed.
At arrival, the 10 days went super smoothly. We were super well taken care by all the people (guides, hotel staff, car and boat drivers) that took us on the different activities. Everything was on time, no delays and no stress. The guides were engaged and included each member of the family. I particularly enjoyed the personality of the guide in Korcula and Hvar. Our boat guide in Split (Toma) made me feel safe on the agitated sea the day we explored the Blue lagoon.
I also appreciated the daily check-in from Nikola and having the prep information for the following day.
All in all a great experience with lots of variety in the activities proposed by Nikola. We would highly recommend it.

Toma our boat driver was great. A bit shy at first but he warmed up throughout the day. The water was a bit agitated and he made me feel safe. The blue lagoon was spectacular and we had a great swim there. Magical water. We stopped on a small island for a drink and a lunch on the other side of the island. Fun feeling to board right at the restaurant. Great fish meal to enjoy sitting right on the water side. Finished the day with one other swim in a small bay where we could enjoyed a Mojito made right there by a guy on a small boat going from boat to boat offering his drinks. Fun experience all along.

This was an important family trip to Croatia and not Having not heard of KimKim prior to working with them, we were a bit nervous. The result exceeded our expectations. Nikola assembled an itinerary where we didn’t have to worry about anything and had zero headaches transferring from airport and ferries. He engaged incredible guides and experiences in each of our locations such that we had the opportunity to experience Croatia, and have experiences that would not have been possible without. More of a villa than hotel. No public spaces. Located in the palace, it was a fantastic location. Our suite was large and comfortable and well appointed with a kitchen, living room, large bedrooms and separate bathrooms. Staff were excellent. Met us at ferry and walked us at checkout to meet our driver. Breakfast was in a separate restaurant 2 min walk away. Great stay!

My wife Mala and I had a great trip to Equador and Galapagos. Many thanks to Mathias and his entire team.
Mathias made all the arrangements and even though we had to make multiple changes, it was never a problem.
We had to change dates of travel, no problems
We had to change our cruise ship, no problems
We wanted to do full day birding, no problems
He suggested that we stay at Tombopaxi, in Cotopaxi National park. No problems
Danny Arias was our guide for most of the days. He was very patient and knowledgeable
Neiser Arias was bird watchinf guide. He was very patient, knowledgeable and knew his birds really well. If we do a dedicated bird watchng tour, we will surely use him again

We had a studio with a 180 degrees view of the ocean, absolutely gorgeous with a big balcony. It was so relaxing to sit and watch the birds and monkeys. The hotel restaurants are spread across the resort which is very hilly, but they have a car that will ferry you from your room to the pool or one of the restaurants. We ate at two of the restaurants and the food and service was great.

Firstly this is not a gentle hike as we were led to believe, as a couple in their late fifties)early sixties we found it challenging there are lots of big rustic steps to climb which was exhausting in the heat. The guide however was fantastic and very passionate, the view was amazing.

Mar was simply amazing. She created an itinerary which was exactly what we were looking for. She was attentive to our requirements and how we wanted to travel. We loved the small towns that she included in our itinerary: Voss, Flåm, Undredal and Rosendal. Fenne took over from Mar after the itinerary was created and helped us with the reservations. And we are so happy and impressed with Fenne who rescheduled our boat ride at no extra cost for us. This was our first trip with Kimkim. But we know we are going to have many more with them. Absolutely loved them. They made our trip super memorable.

Our tour guide in Cusco, Sonia, was so amazing and knowledgeable! She had a clear passion for Andean history and we learned so much from her. Our food tour tour guide in Lima, Kimberly, was equally informative!
