Kate goes above and beyond in making sure that the travellers are kept up to date and have all their questions answered. She is prompt and very diligent. For those who are new to world travelling and do not know their way around, I think having such a thoughtful person as a pre-travel planner is helpful as it gives you the peace of mind.

I was disappointed with the apartment and I made it known to Kate. I tried reaching out to the apartment owners but they never responded. They were low on stocks and should have provided decent amount for a 5 day stay. The whole building had a smell. And the location, while very fun and lively for young folks, was very noisy and difficult to sleep at night with the noise (this is something we should have been told of since we had kids).

For those who are very very new to travelling outside their country and not used to using the internet to search and find their own things to do, this activity is ok. But otherwise, this was not worth it. We travel a lot around the world and often organize our own travel. With KimKim we thought we are buying something extra such as comfort, or customization and special care. But in the end, we realized that we could have planned this trip ourselves for less and the same amount of comfort. The Tower of London falls in the same category. We made the mistake of not checking very thoroughly from yelp/google reviews what this tour entails. So I'm not blaming anyone here at KimKim. I would just caution travellers - they should do their own homework first and then coordinate with a pre-travel planner.

The trip was amazing. Gummi was super helpful with our itinerary and notes for each day. We went to his suggested restaurants-all were spot on -our favorite was the first dinner at Nardeyastofa in Stykkishólmur. The drive from Stykkisholmur around the Snaefellsnes Peninsula was spectacular!! The glacier ice cave tour with Southcoast Adventure was terrifying and beautiful and a highlight of our trip. The glacier lagoon, the puffins at Dyrhólaey the waterfalls… we never would have been able to see everything without Gummi as our guide!

Wonderful trip to Greece! The trip was well planned out, communication was on point, and fit all of our needs as a family of 5! We visited Athens, Naxos, and Santorini. All accommodations were very nice and in great locations. We enjoyed all of the activities that were planned for us. We did end up making one change to our schedule once we got there and the team was able to rework our plans to fit what we wanted to do that day. Overall, the activities were a little too history based for my younger children, but we hit the highlights and added more beach related activities on our own. The team stayed in touch throughout the trip via WhatsApp and updated us each day with any adjustments.

Liana Beach Hotel was a gem in Naxos. We had one room for our family of 5, but everyone slept comfortably. 3 couch beds, 1 bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed the amenities like the pool, spa, etc. Beach chairs on the beach were nice and there are enough that you are not fighting to get a seat. Anytime of the day you could catch a lounger or two. Only note is the beach chairs are on a public beach, so it is very crowded, but it's at the far end of the beach so not as crowded as some of the other areas. Didn't feel crowded at any point at the hotel or beach.

Ava Hotel is in a busy, touristy location, but is very quiet and comfortable accommodations. We could walk out of down and be in the heart of Plaka district. We had 2 rooms that were next to each other (not connecting). Best breakfast of the trip! Would definitely recommend for the Athens area!

We started with a tour of Oia. The guide walked us around, I assume so you do not get lost. However, you lost the freedom to explore as you wished. We went to the Akrotiri site, which was surprisingly more exciting than we expected. There was an another private tour guide that was very kid friendly and made it fun for the kids. Then we went to the Atlantis Experience which I think you could skip honestly. We requested more time at the beach, so we skipped something else and they dropped us off and picked us up from the beach resort.

We didn't end up doing this trip. It sounded like a good idea when I was planning the trip, but I have learned from multiple vacations that a 5 hour day (or activity) is the max my family can handle. Delphi is 2.5 hours away from Athens, once we realized it would be 5 hours of round trip driving with 3 little kids, we bailed on the plan. We ended up booking a catamaran boat tour instead and it was a highlight of the trip.

We loved the visit to Maria and Spiro's farm. We made a delicious meal together and enjoyed learning more about their culture, family, and farm. Marty and Spiro do not speak English so the driver is the translator as well. We made a yummy greek meal together, but most of the food was made beforehand, so we ate promptly. The flow was well timed, we didn't feel rushed or awkward sitting around waiting for food to cook. Our three boys (12,10,6) were able to help with the meal prep and enjoyed playing with the animals. One of the highlights of our trip!

We loved the Terrace Hotel. We had an amazing room with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower.
We had a duplicate reservation at the hotel booked by Kimkim and we were over charged. I had to ask Kimkim about it and we were refunded but I think Kimkim should have carefully checked everything.
Also breakfast was an extra charge. We paid for breakfast but my daughter does not eat breakfast so that was a wasted charge. We would not had opted for the breakfast if we had a choice.
We did the Murder and Mysteries of the Louvre. It was just a private tour guide and was nothing mysterious or engaging. She was very knowledgeable and made sure we got to see what we wanted. She was very nice but was very soft spoken and we could not hear her well in a crowded museum. She needs a headset devices.
Our Versailles tour was very good!
We enjoyed our food tour of Monmarte but it was not in Monmarte. Which was not a problem. We enjoyed it and liked the wine store and charcuterie stop the best.
We had timed tickets to the Eiffel Tower to the top and had a great view. We loved the dinner cruise ! So good and very nice.
Our transportation was good as well the train and flights. We liked Amboise. It was a charming city. The Vouvray wine tour was okay. It was Chablis grapes and the wines were okay…
We saw the castles on our own through Viator to see Chambord castle which was great! We went to Monaco. The transportation train and flight was well coordinated. The West End Hotel in Nice was beautiful! We enjoyed the location. We did a catamaran boat which was a very small boat.
It looks bigger in the photo. It was clean and new. Our captain was knowledgeable and we took snacks. Because of the bobbing on the water, my daughter got seasick so I recommend taking something prior to getting on this boat.
We had an issue with transportation in Nice but Kimkim was able to get another service. Overall we had a lovely trip and appreciate having Kimkim coordinate our travels, transportation and activities. I wish that Kimkim could offer personalized catered tours instead of already prepared tours on Get your Guide.

We had a very nice cruise but my daughter got seasick. The captain was great and give us history of the areas we passed. There was a lot of bobbing of the boat so take something for seasickness if you are prone to it. We took wine and snacks and enjoyed the sunset. We really enjoyed this! The photo of the boat attached to this activity is not representative of the boat we were on. It is a small catamaran that hold up to 6 people. It is small but new and clean. No cushiony seats.

We got our tickets at the meeting spot and the guides walked us (large group) to the Eiffel Tower. They escorted us through security and then took us to the 2nd floor and then put Ilya in line for the elevator to the top. This was very helpful but there was No skip the line . We loved our guide. This was a private tour. We met in Monmartre but the tastings were in a different area. We had coffee, then went to a wine store with charcuterie. They give you a bottle of wine with the charcuterie… our favorite. Everything was delicious! We then went to a cheese shop and tried different cheese la. We purchased some cheese. We went to a jam store and tried different spreads and then ended up at a gelato store. All was good and we enjoyed walking in different neighborhoods .

We had a private tour guide. There were no engaging stories or mysteries of the Louvre. She took us through the area of the old moat which was neat and she made sure we saw all the interesting things and what we wanted to see . She was very knowledgeable and nice. My wife and I had an incredible 3 week trip to Bali, thanks to Yuqqa, our wonderful trip planner. From the very start, she refined the itinerary to match our interests. Her recommendations for where to go and the order to go to them were spot on. We especially enjoyed Ceningan Island (even if the boat ride there was a bit harrowing!) and Munduk. She was also quick to find great backup options whenever hotels we were interested in were booked up.

During the trip she checked in daily about activities and feedback, making sure everything ran smoothly. As a thoughtful touch, she even surprised us with lovely local Balinese gifts and massages during our stay.

The travel agency also arranged an outstanding driver for us, Nengah Suarma, who made every journey a pleasure. He was kind, punctual, funny, and informative, sharing local knowledge and making the travel time between activities feel like part of the adventure. We always felt safe and comfortable with Nengah.

Some of my favorite experiences were white water rafting and ATV riding in Ubud, the Sekumpul Waterfall trek, and the Sangeh monkey forest. Without their expert guidance, it would have been so difficult to coordinate local transportation or even know the best places to go.

This trip was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, comfort, and thoughtful planning. I can’t recommend this team enough!

The trip was great in all regards. We have already recommended Kimkim and Moonika to friends.
Kimkim was responsive to multiple changes in our planning and booking.
Moonika was always avaialble as issuess arose as they always do on a trip involving 9 people from multiple locations.
In our case, changes were necessitated by cancelation of flights by Discover Airlines (we would not use again).

High points included shoe bogging, food markets, Art Nouveau tour and the museums that describe the Jewish communities and the occupations.

The guides were excellent with regard to knowledge, general friendliness and sensitivity to the needs to the group.
Exceptional among the guides (apologies for spelling): Marilyn, Ilse, Janis, Christina, Svetlana and Yolanda.

What can I say? Having Vicky help us plan this trip was one of the best decisions we made!
Not only did she save us hours (honestly, weeks) of research, but she also handled all the logistics, organized our schedule beautifully, and gave us access to her deep knowledge of the best experiences, places to stay, and ways to get around. Our itinerary was always up to date, easy to access online, and packed with thoughtful touches that made the trip smooth and stress-free.
It ended up being the trip of a lifetime—and I truly believe that was because of Vicky’s recommendations, planning, and support. This location has very high highs (interior and layout of the space and level of quality) but some low points that are unfortunate. No on site dining, limited staff support, a bit far to walk to everything and no elevator (which is only troubling when you have a lot of luggage). If we stayed here again we would rent a car.

No dining in this location and closest place for coffee was a 7 min walk. 15-20 min walk to everything else and no free shuttle. I don't know if there is a closer place but a meal option would have been nice. For others you may want to rent a car.

Upon arrival, person at the desk shared that there was a shuttle but never shared there was a charge. We were not prepared to pay 8/pp each way! She also was not very helpful with questions and only available limited hours during the day.

The room was beautiful and very well laid out with lots of space. The nicest interior of the whole trip! The only reason for the lower score is that they do not have elevators so we had to carry a lot of luggage up three flights of stairs.

Explore’s Half Day Hill Inlet at Whitehaven Beach

I have mixed experiences with this tour and would want to go to Whitehaven again but in a different way, perhaps a smaller group, easier tender process and longer amount of time. We only had about 30 mins on the beach by the time we got there.

The beach is amazing but we didn't get to see much, and we had to decide between the lookout or the beach. Also, they didn't really talk or share much about the island like it was described.

Overall this was a bit disappointing. At times it felt like "going through the motions" and no real explanation or "guide". Would not recommend the zip lining for anyone that has done it in other locations. And the crocodile tour was disappointing. The boat was in very poor condition

Overall this was a great experience, but I wish there were less people. There were not enough seats for us to sit inside, and certainly not sit together, and with all of the people everything took longer, which left less time to snorkel. The way the experience is laid out and all the options (like the marine biologist presentation and observation submarine) is wonderful, but the crowds were tricky.

It was a lot of car driving and peculiar use of time. Like we drove through a neighborhood and stopped to look at kangaroos that were in someone's yard. Probably would not do this exact one again. The Glow Worm tour was cute and the natural bridge was amazing, but for all the driving and the wasted time, made the experience less than ideal.

Jen was friendly but struggled. She couldn't find the Sandboarding location (it wasn't easily marked to her credit) but we went back to the same place three times before she asked for help, which made us late and we only got 20 mins of sandboarding. The Sandboarding was awesome but this very long drive with very stressful timing (almost missed the whale watching) made this day difficult.

Van was really tired and many of us got queasy on this drive because of how shaky the vehicle was. We also had lots of speed bumps which didn't help. We were in the car a very long time and it was in poor quality, so that made the overall experience poor.

Our trip was wonderful! The perfect balance of relaxation and activity. We loved Apsila on Sifnos. That place is something special. The cooking class and e-bike tour were both surprise hits with the family. They gave me all of the credit for planning but you did all of the work, thank you. We didn’t love the second hotel in Athens, it was fine but nothing special after our other places. We walked down the street to the Ace Hotel for dinner, which was delicious. The location and view at the EliasErmou was really good., better view than the King George Hotel! The transport to and from the airport to hotels, etc is literally my favorite thing. Makes it so easy and less stressful.

I reached out to Kimkim to get assistance with designing a disc-golf focused trip to Finland in the Summer of 2025. I had the pleasure or working with Emerson, who was able to take my idea (start with the Professional Disc Golf World Championships in Tampere/Nokia, then travel Southern Finland playing the best courses in the world) and turn it into a reality. He took the time to understand what exactly it was I wanted to see and do, where and how I wanted to travel, and he put it all together so perfectly! It was the easiest trip I've ever had to plan. Emerson took care of everything, so that all I had to do was step off the plane and follow the itinerary. The accommodations were great and well-located so we had easy access to saunas, nature and local sites, we had good food all along the way, the rental car was perfect, and the recommended (non-disc golf) excursions were always well-worth it. Professional drivers showed up in very nice cars when expected, even a little early. Emerson kept in contact with me by e-mail before and several times during my trip to assure things were going smoothly. My wife, parents, and I recently took a wonderful trip to Greece using KimKim. Our tour planner Angela was excellent- she was very friendly, prompt, and ready to make any changes to the schedule that we requested. We spent time in Athens, Crete, and Thessaloniki, and the activities. Angela organized for us were absolutely perfect. We were able to find a balance between sightseeing and downtime, which made the trip extra special. Marinella (on Crete) and and Despina (Thessaloniki/Northern Greece) we’re excellent tour guides on our day trips. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout each day’s activities. Our first tour guide for the Parthenon, Michael, was also terrific. Everyone we encountered in all of the hotels, in restaurants, and elsewhere were extremely friendly and always willing to help. We loved our time together in Greece- thank you Angela for planning such a magical trip!

Our family trip to Thailand was amazing. Bella our travel agent was very responsive to calls/emails/text and her recommendation fit our family. We had a couple tour guide and they were all good, But we had Anita( A) in Banghok and she was wonderful, she was knowledgeable, informative. She had my family try a lot of good food and we enjoyed our times with her.

A visit to Mae Klong Railway market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market!

My favorite activity of the trip was definitely the visit to the Mae Klong Railway market. It was such a unique experience watching the train come through the market. Everything was incredibly exciting and memorable. My family had a wonderful time and it truly was a trip of a lifetime for everyone.

It was absolutely great working with Beatrice and the KimKim team! We had the most amazing trip! Our hotels were great and all of the tour guides were fantastic!! I highly recommend the Gothic tapas food tour in Barcelona… Facunda was outstanding!!! The market food tour in Porto was SO much fun too!! Catalonia hotel in Barcelona was the best and perfect location!! Thanks for everything! We can’t wait to do it again!!

We had a most amazing trip booked by Marta. She booked the trip based on our preferences for location and hotels, we had fantastic tours and locations. I would highly recommend.

A once in a lifetime trip! Emanuela helped us plan an amazing vacation that fit everything we asked for into an active 8 day adventure.

She was in touch along the way to make sure all was running smoothly. We deeply appreciate her and would recommend her and Kim Kim to anyone looking to plan an unforgettable experience.

Our only issue was that some of the driving maps took us to the incorrect spots (off by a couple of km). But it was easily fixed.

Spent an amazing 11 days in Costa Rica, arranged by Elena. We were in 3 different locations, Manuel Antonio, Monteverde and near Arenal volcano, and all details were cared for and everything went extremely smoothly. Alex, the driver for two legs of the trip, was especially fantastic, providing history, background and sharing many stories during the hours-long drives- the time went quickly and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely recommend both Costa Rica as a destination and KimKim as a travel agent.

Incredibly beautiful home set in the mountains overlooking the Pacific. Spotlessly maintained and incredible views. During our stay, we regularly saw (and heard!) a pair of Macaws soaring overhead, a sloth in a teee over the patio and a large group of squirrel monkeys in the trees overhead. Very memorable. We had a chef come and and prepare us dinner one night because the house was so beautiful we didn’t feel a strong need to leave. Pool table and pool (with daily pool service) kept our group of 6 entertained.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Monteverde. Comfortable rooms, and nice pool/spa area. Food and service in the restaurant was only ok. Though there was only one couple in the restaurant, service was extremely slow and we had plans for after dinner., therefore we had to hurry the waiter to get to our other activity on time.

Good location near many activities. Abundant and fast Uber service makes a car unnecessary. The room was very dark, and bugs (flying ants) greeted us on our first night, but weren’t seen again after that. The scenery was beautiful and breakfast was very convenient.

Everything was sorted out for us it was easy with no issues. The activities booked were excellent. The sea kayak was good. The daily schedule was fantastic and the maps provided made it all very easy. One map on the first day led us to somebody’s house not the volcano so that was the only minor issue we had all week. The best part of the week was the glacier trek, that was outstanding well worth doing if you are able.
All things considered it was an outstanding adventure.
Thanks for a fantastic experience and outstanding service.

Hiking to Humantay Lake: A Scenic Adventure in the Andes from Cusco

It was so very beautiful!!! Very difficult hike as you are very high altitude with very big incline but so worth it. The locals do rent horses, so if you don’t think you can hike it, definitely suggest getting there early so that way you can get a horse :)

My family and I had a tremendously enjoyable visit to Morocco due to the amazing work by the team at Original Travels! Mohamed E. crafted a custom tour throughout the country, personalizing the itinerary, excursions, and accommodations to meet our special requests.
