Abdel and his team were efficient and fast, but we got in touch with them by answering an ad that promised “the ultimate in luxury travel in Morocco”, and this, it was definitely not.

Most of the high-end hotels we wound up staying in, we came up with ourselves.

We asked for a guide specialised in Moroccan culture, history, food and art.
The guide that Abdel chose for our 16-day trip throughout Morocco was a wonderful person – warm-hearted, honest, committed and diligent – but his specialty are trekking expeditions in the Atlas Mountains and “budget travellers” (as he himself admitted). He had no clue about the best restaurants in the towns we visited, and he had never seen most of the hotels we stayed in. Some of the museums we most liked, he had never heard of.

The car that was used for our travel, was comfortable and at all times impeccably clean, but the driver hardly ever spoke a word with us (even when we tried to interact with him) and, importantly, he was not familiar with some of the parts of Morocco we visited, leading to us having to use our own GPS to guide him.

Abdel, the owner, was ultra-fast in the initial stages. His responses became a little slower once we had paid for the trip in full, and he didn’t bother saying hello or asking how we were, until well into the second week of our trip. He and his team requested upgrades for us in two of the hotels we stayed in (the second time at our explicit request), but he falsely claimed that “we will offer you a free upgrade” at one of the locations, when in fact it was the hotel that offered us this upgrade, not Abdel’s company.

We were very disappointed that on the last day, Ahmed, the company representative in charge of taking us to the airport, did not even bother asking us how we felt about the trip or if we had any feedback, even though we volunteered to give this information to him. It seemed more important for Ahmed, an otherwise pleasant and kind man, to give us a present (which we appreciated) and to remind us to “give our company a good review”.

So we really can only recommend Abdel and his team if you’re on a tight or mid-range budget and want efficient service. If you want a more high-end experience, we think you should look elsewhere.

Eduardo was amazing! He is very responsive and he planned the best trip we have ever had, and he did it in record time. He truly is the best of the best, and he made sure not only that we had a dream vacation but that daughter and I were safe and taken care of.

I would recommend that anyone going to Guatemala work with Eduardo. You will not be disappointed.

I travelled through Croatia on a trip with my daughter that included many tours and excursions all arranged by Anna-Maria (AM). This was the first time I travelled with the assistance of a tour consultant. I am accustomed to making my own arrangements and I always travel 5 star/First class. I cannot express enough how seamless the entire trip was thanks to AM. Every tour guide and driver were of the highest standard along with all of the side trips that AM worked tirelessly to arrange perfectly. She has the best ideas and is very flexible to contour the trip to the interests of her clients. She is also very patient and takes the time to understand exactly her clients, and therefore, what to suggest and how to tailor the perfect adventure based on their desires. I ran into several snags of my own doing during the trip and AM responded immediately and pivoted to bring about the ideal outcome. I actually virtually over-hauled the entire trip at one point and she rearranged everything so quickly that you would think she anticipated it. If you ever travel to Croatia and don't use AM, you will be doing yourself a disservice. She is a pleasure to work WITH (she never pushes ANYTHING on you) and the utmost professional. I don't recall how I found her but I am very thankful that I did. AM-you are the best.

What a God send Andrea was ! We had never taken a trip to Europe before when we decided to just do it ! Once we purchased our plane tickets we realized we had no idea where to start next and how to get the most out of only 12 days. That is when we turned to Andrea for help. Within 2 days he had a perfect itinerary set up for us flying into Rome and from there to the Amalfi Coast-Florence and then Venice.
Andrea took care of everything! He purchased our passes to all the private tours, booked our first class train tickets and arranged private first class private transportation to and from all destinations ( not once was a driver late) as well as top notch hotels.. He even recommended which restaurants to try as he had personally tried them himself. The truly amazing factor was Andrea himself. He literally messaged us daily to notify us of recommendations and to ensure all was going well

Fantastic trip! 1 month in Egypt, including a week on the Nile. All the guides, vans, planes, and boats were all in place as expected. My daughter broke her ankle walking into a temple and our guide Mohamed arranged the doctors, x-rays, ambulance, tourist police and a delayed boat departure efficiently and we are very grateful to have had him as our guide. I can't say enough good things about him.
Covid19 testing was handled at the airport before departure very quickly and paperwork in order.

This is the first time using kimkim, and I was super happy about everything they planed it for us. I've never been to Greece before, and I was determined to go multiple locations in fixed amount of time. Dimitris and his team came up the great travel plan which has nice balance of enough reserved/guided activities and free-time by our own to do things at that moments. Since we are not comfortable to drive while traveling, we asked them arranged drivers to pick us up and drive us around for 6 different locations and they were always on-time and every drivers are very friendly. We are very impressed about how quickly Dimitris and his team correspond when we encounter some issues while we are traveling. I definitely use kimkim again and highly recommend to anyone planning to travel in Greece.

This was our first time using KimKim, and we will definitely be using it again. Harris was simply amazing. He went out of his way to accommodate all of our requests during the Greece trip. He was also incredibly patient, as we had never traveled to Greece and had many questions about the journey.

In terms of responsiveness, Harris was also very quick to answer our questions while we were planning the holiday. We wanted to make sure there was plenty of greenery and foliage during the holiday, and Harris made it happen. He made sure to include a farm tour in our itinerary to quench our thirst for nature.

On our final day in Greece, due to weather complications, our scheduled sea cruise was canceled, but Harris was very prompt in making different plans for us that were just as exciting.

He also created a WhatsApp group that made it easier for us to stay in touch while we were in Greece.

The tours were great and very informative. The guides were friendly and helpful. The arranged transportation made our journey hassle-free.

We would definitely book a trip through Harris again in any country.

Robi was an incredible guide from start to finish. He helped manage multiple trips with multiple groups of people, suggested the best activities based on our interests, and was so kind and considerate throughout the trip. Even though we were travelling off-season, he worked with wineries and restaurants to open experiences just for us. One of my favorite meals was going to a local family's house for a traditional lunch. The food was incredible (the best chicken I've ever had) and our hosts were so welcoming- I'll never forget it!

Every place he took us was so special, and already on Day 2 he was pointing out things based on what we liked & needed- it felt like he had known us for years.

On top of planning and executing the perfect itinerary, Robi has the best personality and attitude. He's very funny and knowledgeable, and it's clear he loves his country and his clients. It was such a pleasure working with him. Would recommend him for anyone!

Eduardo was an absolute sweetheart, an incredible problem solver, and was truly a pleasure to work with. Throughout our experience, we felt so lucky to have Eduardo on our team!

I don't know how to fully capture how thankful we are to him, and how wholeheartedly I recommend working with him in booking a trip you will never forget!!

My wife and I took a 12 day trip to Egypt and KimKim connected me to Sharif from Dunes & Beyond. He was able to organize a 3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor with a private guide named Tamer, who was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable and just an overall nice person to tour the country with. Sharif made sure that we were taken care of at every airport and this included transportation. Our tour coordinator Gazzebella (not sure I spelled that correctly). She has over 30 years of experience with touring the Pyramids and gave us such insightful information on the artifacts at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Sharif was able to book a last minute Snorkeling tour in Sharm el Sheikh with such a reasonable price.
Overall, the entire trip was super well organized and everyone involved took very good care of us. I’m glad I used KimKim.com for the second time and would 100% recommend Sharif to any and all people who may want to personalize their own trip in Egypt.

Though an avid travelled, this was my first trip post the pandemic and I was a little nervous at first. However Murat was so helpful and cooperative, I ended up having a wonderful trip. There were 1-2 glitches that could have been avoided but Murat did his best to remedy the situation. The 2 guides I had in Istanbul and Cappadocia were wonderful - Ibrahim and Ramazan - very flexible and cooperative. Murat’s property in Cappadocia is a piece of heaven I would highly recommend. The logistics including PCR testing were very well taken care of. I always felt safe because Murat kept track personally.

Our trip to Croatia was AMAZING! Robi our guide was so knowledgeable and helped us to experience places that we would have never known existed without him. I have never had a guide before, now I don't want to ever travel without one! It is a stress free way to travel. Thank you Robi for making our trip so memorable and fun!

I can't say enough great things about Robi and the experience/memories he provided during our "girls' trip" to Croatia! My niece handled the pre-trip planning directly with Robi and we never worried about anything from the time he picked us up at the airport until when he returned us a week later:). Robi is so personable, knowledgeable and flexible and he definitely went above and beyond to add/modify our trip based on interests, weather and opportunities. I know we experienced Croatia so wonderfully ONLY because he was our guide. The only downside is that he spoiled us and now I feel like it will be hard to travel anywhere without a guide! :) Thank you to kimkim and to Robi for the trip of a lifetime!

Our trip to France was awesome. Kimkim put me in touch with Joel who put together a perfect trip for us. He listened to me and executed exactly what we wanted. He was unfamiliar with a couple of our requests but set out to find options for us and delivered an experience of a lifetime! Huge thanks! Online travel agent.... worked for me!!!

The trip was kind of a cluster because of the COVID regulations, but some of the restaurants or destinations were closed on the day we were scheduled to see them. Our rental was a nightmare, we didn't fit in the cars and the car seat was unavailable, so we had to use a different one that was not functional that we had to makeshift into working. The tour guide/driver was just a driver. He didn't know the schedule and asked us where we were supposed to be going and seemed confused with the whole thing. He also didn't provide any information on any of the places. It was just quite odd. Otherwise, it went smoothly. Though I would suggest, if possible, Kim Kim add some sort of background audio that you could listen to on your way to the next destination so you get the background before you get there.

Everything was perfect. I don't know what resources KimKim has for this, but it would be awesome to have audio to listen to in the car while driving to the next destination so we get some history or background on the next destination while we are driving.

I had a wonderful 2 weeks trip with my son in Iceland. Many thanks to Jenny, Preeti and the team. Especially to Jenny, thank you so much for being there and helped me through everything.

Me and Sean were having some problems pre-depature after everything been booked up, I was panicking but of course and thankfully Jenny 'saved my life' Jenny and the team were absolutely amazingly, they worked so hard to rearrange the whole trip again for me in such a short time.

Communicate with Jenny through kim kim website was easy and simple. I am very happy with the service and thanks once again for everything all of you did for me and Sean to be able to enjoy Iceland.

If you're looking for a private guided tour around Morocco, this is the one for you.

Morocco Immersion had been very open and engaging about planning our trip ever since we reached out to them about our wants and needs. Basically, we gave them a template of what kind of travelers we were, how long we wanted to travel, what general places we wanted to see, and what kind of accommodations we wanted to stay in. Through multiple, quick back-and-forth conversations via chat, Morocco Immersion was able to hone in on our ideal trip and even gave suggestions and recommendations when we were stuck in our decision-making. At one point, when our flights were completely canceled a week before the start of our trip and we were able to secure new flights but on different dates, Morocco Immersion was very understanding and adjusted our trip willingly and accordingly, without hesitation.

The trip itself was absolutely wonderful. Unlike the huge group tours advertised everywhere, our small group of three travelers felt really comfortable with our personal guide and driver Hicham, who assured us about our safety and comfort. We felt that even though we had a defined itinerary set beforehand, that we could easily deviate from it if we wanted to. That was the huge advantage with booking with Morocco Immersion as a small private group!

The whole tour was up to our expectations. From the tours of Rabat to Meknes and Volubilis to Fez, the Sahara, Dades, and Marrakech, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Each place had its own charm, and when we shared with Hicham that we wanted to try to eat where the locals do, he gladly obliged and took us to authentic, less touristy places to munch on real local eats, and I thought that was just perfect.

And despite one minor hiccup with our accommodation in Marrakech, Morocco Immersion stepped up to the plate and offered to rectify the situation. The team readily made things right by us, and I don't think you'll ever get that kind of service with a much larger, impersonal company or with a really large touring group.

I would highly recommend Morocco Immersion if you're truly considering an authentic experience of Morocco, one that is not just touristy stuff. You will not regret your choice.

This was our second trip planned by KimKim and our second great success with them. The first one was two years ago in Norway and this time in Iceland. Preeti did a wonderful job of connecting with us to find out what our specifics were in terms of arrivals and departures and what we wanted to see and how we wanted to experience Iceland. She put together a great itinerary that met all of our needs, reserved very comfortable hotels with a large breakfast each morning. She and her associate were available to us during our stay, to answer any questions we had. Iceland is a fantastic country with so much to experience. We love traveling independently and yet appreciate the expertise of local people helping us plan all the details! We highly recommend Preeti and her staff and will definitely use Kimkim again when traveling around the world. Thanks for a great trip.
