We took a large family trip to Switzerland (9 adults, 9 children with ages from 6-76) starting in Zurich and ending in Milan. Our local guide, Ricardo, was amazing with his knowledge of the areas and helping us on our trip. But, the most important thing to our family, was how he put in effort to get to know our family members and was able to adapt the trip to our preferences during the trip. Our bus driver was also amazing: on time, professional, a skilled driver and caring for our family. The local Kim Kim specialist was able to work with me to plan the trip with activities that would be good for our family and then Ricardo was able to customize the activities further during our trip based on his knowledge and our interests. The hotels were located in wonderful areas to be able to explore the cities during our leisure time. We felt safe and well taken care of during our time in Switzerland.

Kayak tour on Lake Brienz

This was one of our favorite activities. The lake is beautiful and a lot of fun to explore in kayaks. The kayak guides, Ben, Ryan and Mika, were amazing with our family. They led us in games we played on the lake and were able to accommodate our different ability levels with ages from 6-76. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this activity to everyone!

We enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and the medieval village. We were at the village on a Sunday, so some of the shops were closed. The river was beautiful to see and the kids were able to wade in the water to have some fun.

Svetlana was excellent; responsive, knowledgeable, flexible and very easy to work with. There were 6 of us traveling, coming from 3 continents and Svetlana took everyone's requests into consideration when planning our trip and was very helpful overall. Our tour guide, Robert was extraordinary! Prompt (always early), knowledgeable (like an encyclopedia), courteous, professional, flexible and very easy to be with. He really made the trip for us all!

Nice hotel, good location. There were elevators but you still had to take stairs which defeated the purpose of having an elevator for luggage. Also, it wasn't obvious that there was a ramp to enter the hotel so we also took a flight of stairs with the luggage...and there wasn't anyone to help. Breakfast was good, with a made to order hot entree.

Nice large room and bathroom. Good breakfast. The front desk woman was not friendly or helpful. No elevator and no one to assist getting luggage up a flight and a half of stairs. The breakfast was good and the waiter was very friendly. Note: there isn't any dinner options at the hotel. You need to go to the sister hotel, where they provide transportation (about a 10 min drive). The meal and service is excellent but it is a prefix menu and it's pricey (about 100 pounds per person with drinks).

We were on the top floor from what appears to be a transformed attic. No elevator, but we got help with luggage. The ceilings in the room were sloped on both sides so you really had to watch out to bump your head everywhere. No shower, no hot water. For Ireland, very weak breakfast

This is such a unique experience and it's really worth it. The man who owns the dogs was super nice and patient. He also had some "hairy coos" which was a bonus. We all really had fun.

We aren't whisky drinkers but "when in Scotland" we really wanted to have a tour and not just a tasting. Our guide was excellent, the tour was really interesting, the facilities very nice and the tasting (which was the minor part of the excursion) was very nicely done. This is a boutique distillery and it was a curated experience, which we loved.

Our trip was everything we hoped for and more thanks to our local specialist Anna-Maria. She was in touch every day and made sure everything was running smoothly. The transportation she arranged was seamless and made the trip much more relaxing for us! Our first driver/guide Primos was really knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. The lodging was wonderful, each with breakfast included and locations that were perfect. The hiking was spectacular in Slovenia (with Marc) and in Opatija (with Smilja) which had a surprise visit to a local bee keeper that was a truly lovely experience. Kayaking waterfalls on the Mreznica river and hiking the stunning K loop in Plitvice National park were two exceptional highlights. We loved every minute of our trip!

Krista put together a fabulous itinerary for our family! We enjoyed the range of activities, locations we visited. We enjoyed the variety of transportation modes from train to ferry, to bus. The entire process was easy, our itinerary was clear, and we had backup suggestions at each location.
The Norway in a Nutshell tour was especially wonderful, because it included a leisurely pace from Voss to Gudvangen to Flam, and glorious views while on the fjord cruise.
I was thrilled that we could spend the night in Voss and Flam, so that we could experience all the activities in each town, while also enjoying a stroll around the water.

I would have liked to have had fans in each room for the summer when it is hot. I would have liked to have had a gym on the property, too.

The equipment provided was fantastic. Made the trip very comfortable. We enjoyed our guide, Erwin’s stories, and the places he took us. It was very relaxing. However, we saw no wildlife as we had hoped. Contrary to what is advertised, it is not a high adrenaline tour. No waves, we didn’t get wet (it was not windy that day). Just a nice cruise on the water.

Planning a trip to Barcelona for 10 family members (ages 15-86) seemed overwhelming until we found the KimKim site and reached out to Hector. From the first communication we were confident that we had found someone who would work very hard to make sure that we were going to be very satisfied. He gave us an itinerary that seemed very good and within our budget and was quick to tell us that it could be adapted to suit us better. Some changes were made and each question we had or requested modifications were handled quickly and smoothly. When I say the trip exceeded our expectations I am not exaggerating. The hotels were very comfortable and in an excellent location. The breakfast included was terrific . Our guides were all so personable and knowledgeable. We were impressed with their ability to share so much interesting information, answer questions and just be so welcoming. They never rushed us or seemed like they had a tight schedule. We enjoyed our time with each of them.
The snorkeling/kayaking trip was especially memorable for the girls and their parents. Two great guides provided a thrilling experience for them. I would definitely recommend KimKim as a place to start any family trip. I didn’t realize they plan trips to many locations. They give you a very specific experience tailored to your family and include so many different things that generally appealed to all ages. Thank you Hector and your team.

This small beautiful hotel has so much character and charm. It is located in the old town of Begur and we enjoyed the atmosphere and wandering through the small pedestrian streets. Lots of good food and affordable shopping. The walk to the fortress provided magnificent views of the coastal beaches. The children and grandchildren loved their time at the beaches and the beautiful Mediterranean water.

Across Portugal curated an absolutely perfect first trip to Portugal for our family of five, including three young kids, ages ten, eight, and four.

Joao and the team could not have done a better job finding us the perfect resorts in each of our three stays (Lisbon, the Algarve, Cascais) — exactly what we needed in terms of space and accommodations to make traveling with kids stress free and incredibly enjoyable.

The experiences booked for us in each place were perfect — magical, high quality experiences that were clearly the best of the best in each spot, allowing us to feel like we saw and experienced so much in the relatively short time we had. My expectations were exceeded in every way: our accommodations, our driver, our activities, and the level of professionalism and ease of communication throughout.

We are not easy people to please, and we were blown away. We hope to return to Portugal again soon to see even more of the country and will certainly use Across Portugal again.

For the first time, we went through a travel agency for our vacation, and the experience was extremely good. Highly recommended for a trip to Peru for sure. Kimkim and the local agent, Karen, were very good at understanding our style of vacation, and after very few iterations, the agent came up with a plan for 2 weeks that was above and beyond our expectations. We knew we wanted to go to the jungle, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca, but the trip was filled with a lot of little things we would not have thought of if we were organizing it ourselves. For the main sightseeing places, we had either a private guide (Machu Picchu) or we were at most 2-3 families (ATV tour through the Sacred Valley or the Rainbow Mountain). Having the guide was really good since there is no signage explaining the various sites. The guides also took the time to take a picture of us. family, and it is nearly the first time in our lives that we have beautiful photos with the four of us.
Aside from the must-see places like Machu Picchu, the travel agency proposed us a few things we did not know. First was the excursion to the Rainbow Mountain. They booked for the new excursion (less touristy) where three mountains can be spotted, and it was fantastic. The walk to the "top" was wonderful, surrounded by alpachas and beautiful views. The second big surprise was the train from Cusco to Puno. A 10-hour ride through the Andes on a beautiful old-fashioned train, with an amazing 3-course meal, live music, and panoramic car. Last but not least, they booked us a meal in a farm in Ollentajtambo, and it was such an authentic experience with some of the best food I had ever had.
The agent organized a private pickup to the minute for every transportation and helped with the logistics for some excursions (such as a van brought our luggage while we were riding the ATV). Of the whole trip, the only thing we did not like was the visit to the Taquila island, since we were on a boat with 35 people and we were rushed on numerous occasions.
The hotels they chose for us were extremely good, always very central. Particularly good was the one in Cusco, in the middle of the historic center.
Throughout the trip, we had a contact person in Peru (Thank you, Lisbeth!), always ready to help us and answer questions.
The trip was unforgettable and organized nearly to perfection, I truly don't think I could do the same on my own. My only reservation about Kimkim is a bit about the price transparency. The money we paid seems a little high given the local prices, but in fairness, we got quotes from other travel agencies, and it was in the right ballpark.

What an amazing experience. Yes, what you see in the picture is going to be your room. Perfectly maintained little paradise in the middle of the jungle, only reachable by boat. A semi-private guide took care of us for 3 days, bringing us the excursions to Lake Sandoval, on the river at night to see caimans, and some walks in the nearby jungle to see trees, birds, and more. Meals were included and very good.

Shared Kayaking to Uros & Taquile Floating Islands tour

The kayaking was good, but it was attached to the group (a very large group) to go to the Taquila island. We were rushed to he island with the Uros, and also, all the time, on the Taquila island, we were rushed. I strongly advise getting a private tour on the lake instead; this excursion did not work for us. A real pity since the kayak part was nice. Also we were expecting 1.5 hours of kayaking but we did only 1 h.

Andreea did an amazing job planning our trip. We hit all the highlights of Banff, Jasper, and the Rocky Mountianer using the best providers. When unforeseen things popped up, she jumped to get them resolved. Thank you Andreea and Kim Kim for another great trip.

Our trip began in Casablanca where our driver Karim picked us up from our hotel. Karim was outstanding; pleasant and knowledgeable of the cities we visited & and an excellent driver. He was always on time & available; kind, helpful, & willing to help us with any questions. When visiting other cities & sites he always introduced us to our guides & was waiting for us on completion. One of my favorite guides was Sharib in Fez though all of the guides provided were great including ones provided at sites like the tannery & mosaic factory. They were not overly zealous in asking us to buy goods.
Cities visited; Rabat, where we stayed at the Sofitel. The hotel was beautiful with large beautifully appointed rooms & grounds. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the city.
Tangier started off poorly when there was no reservation for our stay. DO NOT PUT PEOPLE AT THE HILTON THERE FRONT DESK STAFF ARE SLOW & NOT HELPFUL ALMOST RUDE. The problem was eventually sorted out by your local representative. Compared to our other hotels & Ryads it was not even close in comparison. We did enjoy the city & the Hercules Caves. Chefchaoen is a beautiful city & lives up to its reputation, as the Blue Pearl. Lina Ryad & Spa was excellent in every way. Our final destination was Fes where we stayed at the Riad Fes & Chareaux. The Riad could not do enough for us during our stay, they anticipated our every need, remembered our names & provided excellent service. Highly recommend. Our tour of the Medina with our guide Sharib was great. Stops at the pottery & mosaic factory and the leather factory provided excellent souvenirs with minimal pressure to buy.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Morocco 🇲🇦 & these cities.

Most incredible trip ever! I wanted to plan this trip right … an unforgettable 7 days in Iceland with my family. It was daunting. And then I found Noga at KimKim. Wow! Wow! Wow! Our trip was flawless. From the perfectly planned itinerary that catered to our interests, to extra tips along the way and details I didn’t realize I’d need to know, to the easy messaging app and phone calls we had to make sure we had everything perfect and could ask questions … perfection. I greatly appreciated not having to wade through all the details of planning things myself. In addition, our agent was very helpful with advice for additional things to do and in being a real-time resource. There was also a very nice range of activities for everyone to enjoy--activities that might have been busy or sold out if we had decided to pursue them without prior reservations. We had excellent tour guides: Geza in Madrid, Ana in Barcelona, & Alex in Montserrat. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for an upcoming vacation.

The guide and driver Robert was fantastic. He shows great knoledge as a guide, great driver and a very nice person.
We enjoy all the beautiful places and the trip plan was perfect.
Also very good hotels.

Aggeliki picked some fabulous lodgings and made sure we had some memorable excursions for both adults and kids. We had a great time!!

Eric put together a great itinerary for our group of 7, with age ranges from 9 to 77. We were able to travel together in a large 4x4 van. The accommodations were very nice and ranged from cabins, to villas, to downtown apartments. Eric was able to put together an itinerary that allowed for both shared activities and separate activities based on physical capabilities. All the information provided was detailed, clear, and really made for a nice, relaxing, but also very adventurous trip. In 8 days, we were able to see many of the highlights of Iceland, but also had plenty of time for exploring and side missions. Overall fantastic trip!

The trip that kimkim planned for our 2-week trip to Spain and Portugal was amazing! We didn't have to worry - everything was taken care of, from the drivers, to the guides, to the train tickets, it was an A-plus experience! We have 9 activities scheduled over our 14 day trip, and it is difficult to determine which one was our favorite. But the cooking class in Seville and the lunch at the vineyard (under a 2,000 year old olive tree) on our way to Lisbon were definitely up there.

I also had to rely on the team during our trip for a request, and they got back to me within 15 minutes. Truly exceptional work and wonderful planning by Beatriz. Would absolutely recommend kimkim to all our friends and we will never travel internationally without them.

We had a wonderful family trip to Ireland, guided by Eleanor. Our favorite hotels were Lough Eske near Donegal, which I highly recommend. We hit the jackpot on weather except for the Aran Island day, but honestly, it was so full of tourists, I'm not sure I'd enjoy that anyway. If I had to do it over again, I would stay in a hotel closer to Galway city center so we could walk to dinner and the bars. Galway is magical and loved the people and energy. The sights are amazing, but the reason to go is for the people!
