Kristy did great job to create our Peru itinerary and helped us on all stages of trip preparation and even during trip itself. It was very easy to work with Kristy. * Our walking tour of Lisbon guide (Hector who goes by Eric?) was outstanding- theatrical, entertaining, thoughtful, flexible, educational, fun- a pure delight.
* Our guides for Sintra (Teresa and her husband) were exceptional- we ran late- our own fault- and they were very patient with us and helped us fit in the most treasured part of the adventure (Quinta da Regaleira). They ensured we were comfortable while filling us with a deep history of the place and fun anecdotes.
* Our driver Cesar was professional and very thoughtful and patient with us.
* The choice of both our hotels (Epic Algarve and Hotel Portugal in Lisbon) were excellent to meet our needs. Location of Hotel Portugal was perfect for walking to everything. I loved access to the beach and pools at Epic Algarve as well as their delicious breakfasts.
* A serious disappointment was that KimKim apparently did not pass on the information we provided about shellfish allergy to the restaurants where we had reservations. When we arrived for the dinners, it was too late for them to make accommodations since they require this information in advance. Our group leader contacted KimKim after the first dinner to ensure this did not occur for the second dinner, and she was informed by KimKim that they were contacting the 2nd restaurant. Upon arrival at the 2nd restaurant, again they had not received this information and again could not change the menu. These were each Michelin star restaurants, so I paid nearly $1,000 to have 2 meals where I could not eat much of the food or feel safe. For the 3rd restaurant, I did not feel safe going through this again, so I suffered the loss of the prepaid money and went to a different restaurant on my own. Mishandling a food allergy is a grave mistake at the most basic level, and I hope KimKim never makes this mistake again as it could be life-threatening for some people.
* Another disappointment was that the meet-up information for our catamaran cruise out of the Algarve was not clearly communicated, causing us to race around the harbour for an hour and nearly miss our boat.
Overall, I am very glad we went, and I was highly impressed with the individuals we met while in Portugal. If KimKim can fix the mistakes made for future travelers, then I think they will provide an excellent service.

We absolutely loved our visit to Iceland and our guide Gummi was amazing!! What a dramatic, beautiful and constantly changing country. So much to experience that picking a favourite thing is hard, but for me I would likely say it was the beaches, for my husband those beautiful little fishing villages. I can't imagine a better person to have shown Iceland to us than Gummi and his assistant Yara. He obviously loves Iceland and that made everything we explored more special. His stories were informative and very entertaining. And his ability to balance the whole trip, troubleshoot any glitches or necessary changes and do so seamlessly was admirable. But mostly what we appreciate was Gummi's warmth, kindness and humour in showing us his beautiful country and making us welcome.

We had a plan but needed some professional guidance to puzzle this trip together. Thankful that we chose the right company for the job. Neil listened to our requests and gave suggestions that we could choose or reject. The process was simple and customizable. This was an amazingly memorable trip. Rhona Moir introduced herself via WhatsApp a few days before the tour. She informed us that the weather conditions for the tour would be extreme and even provided us with umbrellas. So happy we ignored the weather. A delightful history lesson

We had a few glitches on the back end of our trip but Nick made sure that we were taken care of. We had no issues with the drivers, our lodgings and tours. Our drivers were where the itinerary said they would be and they were always on time. We were able to add a tour to the Mari-Mari cultural center spur of the moment. Nick took care of the reservations an driver.

What an amazing trip. We had never been to Morocco before so we relied on Hakim to help us a lot with the planning. Hakim was fantastic all the way along and the places he booked for us were incredible. They far exceeded our expectations and it was exactly the experience we were after.
The tours were all really good and the local guides were all very informative and friendly. We discovered so much about the various cities from the guides.
Last, but definitely not least, our driver (Muhammad) was incredible. He took us everywhere and was so helpful and friendly. He made our journeys safe and comfortable. Can’t recommend him enough to anyone travelling around In Morocco.

Marta was helpful and always timely with her responses! We unfortunately experienced some travel challenges with an air strike that impacted one of our legs of travel. Marta quickly cancelled activities and was able to provide the necessary documentation required to support our Travel Insurance claim.
This is our second time utilizing KimKim and will use them again in the future!

Everything about our trip to Greece was exceptional, thanks to Chris. He clearly used the planning phase of our collaboration to understand us and what we might enjoy. Every hotel, tour guide, activity, and reservation was perfect - and extra details made the trip easy and luxe for us. Chris booked not only great hotels, but the best room in the great hotels. He chose the best seats on airplanes and the ferry, the most exceptional tours and guides, fantastic drivers - the list is endless. We commented over and over about how Chris' expertise and professionalism were the things that made our trip so special. We moved around a lot over ten days, and it never seemed difficult or taxing. We had a fantastic trip to Napoli and Amalfi.

We started our vacation in Napoli with a guided walking tour. We loved the hustle and bustle of the city, and, thanks to our guide Simone, we were able to see things that would pass normal tourists by. From Napoli we travelled to Amafi via Pompeii. We expected Pompeii to be good but 'good' doesn't even begin to describe the wonderfully informative visit provided by our guide Paola - her passion for her subect shone through!

The Amalfi coast was stunning. The highlight of our time on the Amalfi Coast was a Fiat 500 Tour from Amalfi to Positano. Andrea, our host, took some amazing photos of us amidst wonderful scenery.

All of the above was only possible thanks to the hard work & dedication of our tour organiser, Martina. Her advice as we were planning our vacation was excellent. Her organisation was first class and, during our trip, she was always on hand to ensure that we had a problem free vacation.

We overall had a very positive experience in the Azores. If you goto the Azores Pico Island and the Lava Homes are a must. Climbing Mount Pico is a challenging but very worthwhile trek. Furnas on Sao Miguel was also a very interesting place to visit with its hot springs. Be ready for very dynamic weather if you go in May but don’t let the weather slow you down — just keep hiking and exploring. The coastlines are beautiful and the towns very picturesque. Joao was very helpful and reliable, with the few hiccups we encountered with some car rental hiccups.

Great suggestions from Wolfgang and the team. Hotels were fabulous. Even wrinkles with car rental quickly solved by team. Really appreciated the expertise allowing us to enjoy Ireland and London with no worries. Will definitely use Kim Kim in the future and highly recommend your team.

Our "Portugal Awaits" vacation was amazing thanks to all the detailed planning by Marisa. All services provided, including transportation, hotel locations and suggested places of interest, were extraordinary. Our drivers for the two all day excursions spoke excellent English, were extremely engaging and gave us additional insight into the Portuguese culture. Both shared recommendations for restaurants that turned about to be culinary adventures. The walking tour and Tuk-Tuk guides were very friendly and made Portuguese history entertaining.
Home Cooking Lisbon was first class fun! The instructor, Ines, made us feel comfortable while cooking dishes foreign to us and the results were delicious!
We greatly appreciated Marisa's advice not to have a rental car, but utilize train transportation which provided a more relaxing and pleasurable experience.

I cannot recommend Lorenza and my experience with kimkim enough! Lorenza planned an exceptional dream vacation for my husband and I for our 20th wedding anniversary in Italy. Lorenza took the time to first understand what we were looking for in a vacation, what our interests were and what level of service we required. Armed with that information she carefully curated an experience that surpassed our wildest expectations. From every detail of our transport to carefully selected hotels to knowledgeable and friendly guides, each experience was thoughtful and detailed. We particularly enjoyed our time in Cinque Terre and the lovely couple who operated the Hotel Marina Piccola. We were also charmed by the Tuscan countryside where we stayed at the beautiful Relais Osteria dell'Orcia and relished our tour of Montepulciano and Pienza with our outstanding local guide Serena! In addition we treasured the truffle hunt and cooking class operated by three generations of the Loghi family. If I sound like I'm gushing, its because I am! If you are interested in visiting Italy, you absolutely will not regret using Lorenza. 10 out of 10!

We benefitted greatly using Kimkim to plan such a big trip. Bruno was a tremendous help with all of the details (hotels, restaurants, drivers, car rental, walking tour guides and activities). He was also available and responded quickly to texts/questions via email before the trip, and using WhatsApp during the trip. Our drivers/guides were very friendly and, once they understood our sincere interest in the history and life in their country, were so interesting and informative. Mario and Oliver were great! While we drove ourselves a couple of days, having drivers and walking tour guides made such a difference to our experience since this was our first time to both Croatia and Slovenia. I feel like we learned more from them than just touring on our own. All of the hotels were very clean and conveniently located to where we wanted to explore. Besides breakfast each day at our hotels, we ate at restaurants for lunch and dinner. They were all very good (thanks Bruno!).
