Good news: Every guide, without exception was great- knowledgeable, friendly giving plenty of info, but not overdoing it. Kudos to all!

The Athenaeum was superb. In retrospect, it would have worked out fine to stay there for the whole trip. The staff, especially the two concierges were great, and went out of their way to help us. I can't say the same for the Hoxton. Reception, which included the dining area, was very noisy. The room was small (not a "Roomy Room" as described an pictured in the photograph), no washcloths, no luggage stand. An electrical switch, which we brought to their attention, went unrepaired for the entire visit. On the last full day, the room was unattended, and we had to order towels. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, as were the wait staff in the restaurant.

One glitch - our name wasn't on the two Rabbie trios., but Nic's was. Took a bit to get that sorted out on the first trip, so we were prepared on the second one.

Time was a a scheduling problem on two occasions - we just couldn't fit in the Music Museum. We wish we had more time and energy when we went to Greenwich. Having Cutty Sark tour between the Maritime Museum and the Observatory didn't work, because of the walking back and forth. Perhaps the Maritime Museum and Observatory should have been back to bac, since they are close to each other.

Restaurants - we had incredible (but expensive) meals at Scotts, J. Sheekey, and the Seabird on the 14th floor at the Hoxton. Masons Arms was good. To ur regret, we were unable to go to the Swan, Lore of the Land, and Duck & Waffle - perhaps next trip.

All in all, Routescape/ KimKim was a great company to work with, and Alex and Nic did fantastic work. We would recommend you to any one. Great trip, and well planned!

Amandine and the KimKim team created an incredible 10-day finish to our French trip this Spring. They led us from our starting point in Strasbourg to Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Carcassone, Toulouse and wonderful places in between. Amandine keyed in to our traveling style and personal interests to craft a wonderful journey filled with history, art and food. Our connections and transfers were seamless, and the hotels were well matched to our active travel style. All of our hotels were located in center-city locations, walkable to everything.

We are especially grateful for Amandine's careful time management. Our trip was packed full of both private and small-group tours. Her scheduling of trains, and car transfers was spot on, allowing us to maximize our time enjoying France, and minimize time spent arranging and waiting for rides. All of her drivers texted us in advance, creating easy pick-ups at train stations and hotels.

Hats off to Amandine and her team. They took the stress out of our travel, leaving only good memories for us to savor. We'll be back!

Our trip was fantastic thanks to the expert planning of kimkim's local specialist - Valdis, and our INCREDIBLE guide, Tomas. From a planning perspective, working with Valdis made organizing and planning our trip simple and easy, especially since he took care of almost all the details and was sure to incorporate our group needs/preferences into the itinerary planning. He also was responsive to changes in our itinerary when we decided to extend a day because we were enjoying our trip so much! Valdis was excellent at building a trip that was easy to take, easy to enjoy, and easy to relax on!

Most importantly though, Valdis chose an excellent guide to show us around Lithuania. Our guide Tomas went above and beyond to ensure our trip was a 10/10 experience. From a professional perspective, Tomas was an extremely thorough and effective guide. He was able to teach us so much about Lithuania and all that we were seeing and he showcased his extensive knowledge by being flexible with our interests and itinerary. Tomas also went above and beyond to acclimate us to every area we went to, having not only knowledge of the history and legacy, but also of great places to eat and locals only tips for seeing the best parts of the cities we visited. On a personal level, we really enjoyed spending time with Tomas on our trip! He was friendly, kind and a joy to have with us. His company on our trip was a highlight for the group! We could not have imagined a more perfect guide for us.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! In a quiet part of town just off of the city park -- making it a relaxing place to stay! We loved the breakfast and the hotel amenities, including the sauna! Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. A really relaxing hotel with great service and comfort. Of note is that there is no elevator and there are many stairs -- it was no problem for our group, but could be for others.

The Curonian Spit tour

By far one of our favorite days of the trip! Would not skip this excursion and would even go back to stay on the spit for longer. We really enjoyed exploring the diverse landscape, learning about the traditions of the spit, and enjoying the nature.

We had an excellent time in Norway, touring the fjords around Bergen for about a week in early May 2025. We had asked for nicer, smaller hotels, small village culture, outdoor activities, and no driving. Mar and Fenne really delivered a well-organized, interesting itinerary! We stayed in Bergen, Flam, Solvorn, Balestrand, and back to Bergen. Highlights: a great walking tour in Bergen led by Sol. The funicular, the fish market, and the harbor in Bergen. The train to Flam. The RIB boat tour with Robbie at FjordSafari, the Waterfall Hike, and the Floating Sauna in Flam. Followed by a casual smash burger at the Garden Café at the Hostel. The bus and ferry to Sogndal and Solvorn. Dinner at the Walaker. The ferry to the Stave Church in Ornes. In Balestrand, the open-boat fjord tour and e-bike glacier ride with Captain Tor, and the Cider tasting/lunch were outstanding. Just walking and hiking in the area can be nice. And the long, beautiful ferry back to Bergen. The Opus VI in Bergen and the Walaker in Solvorn are particularly excellent hotels. We can also highly recommend the Italian restaurant Villani, on Skostredet in Bergen (near the Opus VI). All in all, KimKim set up a great trip for us.

We had a wonderful time in Turkey and Berat and team made it seemless and easy. Working with Berat to plan the trip was easy as she gave great suggestions, had timely responses, and was there to help when needed. The focus of our trip was Istanbul and Cappadocia and the tour guides we had in both locations were stellar. Informative, bringing historical perspective to life, not overwhelming us with too much information, and helpful in recommending local places to visit, we really enjoyed our time with the guides. In Istanbul the highlights were the various mosques with historical context from Andrew and in Cappadocia the balloon ride was special as was the cooking class and walking tours through the various rock formations. Highly recommend this trip to others!

Hassan was not our local guide. We had a local guide in Marrakesh, Hamid, who was very knowledgeable. He did not feel well so we chose to cut our time with him a little short. Then Moha picked us up at the hotel and took care of us from there and he was fantastic! 5 stars for our time with him. Although our Riad in Fes was amazing, next time I would choose one that is closer to the Medina center and one that serves alcohol. Finally, when we were planning the trip, I would have loved for you to suggest that we drive from Fez to Casablanca on the last day and fly to Madrid from there. There are no direct flights from Fez to Madrid so we had to leave our hotel at 4:50 am in order to catch our 7:25 am flight (which was delayed 5 hours). It connected through Casablanca. So if we would have driven to Casablanca in the morning, we could have gone to the mosque and then caught a nonstop afternoon flight to Madrid.

We were glad we switched the private cusco tour to the first day...

Otherwise trip was great and a good blend of personal and tour time!!

We enjoyed the simplicity of having transportation pre-arranged and tours booked. The day trip to Apokoronas villages was great. Our guide was excellent, we toured cheese factory and saw several towns, and we had a nice lunch at the end of the tour. The highlight of our trip was the all-day private tour and boat trip with Roussos as our guide. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming to the beaches and wine tasting at the monastery. It was a great day. In Athens, the Ancient Athens mythology and acropolis walk was the only tour that we did not like quite as much. Our guide was very nice, but the tour went really slowly and we felt that we missed a lot of history along the way. This may have been specific to this guide.

Our hotels were clean and nice with good locations, however we did end up getting 2nd rooms at the last minute due to the small nature of the room (not unexpected in Europe, but we felt the room would be crowded with 2 of us).

We will plan to use KimKim again in the future.

We had an amazing trip to Greece through KimKim. Five stars to Loannis for starting us out, but five stars also to Lea for following through to the end with the details! We especially appreciated the webinar on the Peloponnese KimKim offered as we were planning. It helped us refocus our itinerary and we were so glad we did. We really enjoyed the sights, activities and people of Outer Mani. This was our second KimKim trip and both have been great.

Nadine was very helpful and really kind, but things didn't go as smoothly when she was gone during part of our trip. The most unhelpful incident was when I asked about tipping our Amsterdam driver: the response came after our last interaction. I have asked Nadine to please give Albert an additional sum (40 or 50 euros) before finalizing our account. I have not heard if that has happened.

I did not like the KimKim computer system. I used it at home on my MAC book, but took only our iPad and iPhone with us. Accessing tickets and a whole lot of past messages was not easily done on the iPad, and not at all on the iPhone during our times away from the hotel. Plus, I had to print each ticket for everything before leaving home since I could not put tickets on my iPhone. That took much time and organization on my part. Sometime please use the system as if you were a tourist. You'll see accessing the notes for individual day events requires you to scroll thru the entire system to find the note. I also had to create a separate Excel spreadsheet, as the summary report provided did not have enough information on it.

What was very helpful was Nadine getting the hotel reservations, two drivers/guide, and making museum (mostly) and train reservations. She also was helpful with canceling the safari event. She was not very helpful with our day trip to Waterloo, but once we got to the town via the train, my husband figured out the bus route and times. It was a worthwhile and interesting trip. Our day trip to Flanders Field arranged by Nadine was excellent and our guide, Lucas, was top-notch. Nadine also suggested if time to see the Mesgad Panorama, and that truly was good to do.

The breakfasts were individually packaged (ie, yogurt in small containers, not in bowls for self service) and the last day only three customers were there. The woman server told us they do not have a kitchen where they make things.

I think Nadine has not been there, as the directions were poor. It said we should pick it up near the mueums, but that wasn't correct. It was walking distance from our hotel.

KimKim and Greg in particular did an amazing job planning and executing our once in a lifetime trip to Japan! Greg took all of our input and put together a wonderful trip plan. His knowledge of, and experience in, Japan was invaluable and was reflected in our very robust itinerary. We visited 6 cities and traveled across much of Japan taking many trains and ferries, all planned and ticketed with perfection by Greg. We also had unique and memorable tours and meals we never would have experienced had Greg not scheduled them. As important as planning was, Greg's ability to timely and helpfully respond to our questions during the trip was hugely important to us. We HIGHLY and without hesitation recommend Greg to anyone thinking of traveling to Japan!

Overall the trip was good. i liked the pace of the trip. Couple of things which did not go well.
1 : Did not understand why you were not flexible in letting me book hotels.
2 : Hotel in Rome was not very nice, very small room and was far away from all pick up spots.

I just returned from an unforgettable 11-day trip to Peru, and it was absolutely beautiful. I visited Lima, the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, Cusco, and ended my journey relaxing on the beach in Máncora. Each place had its own unique charm and beauty, and every stop left me in awe.

Machu Picchu was truly out of this world, an experience I’ll never forget. The beach in Máncora was the perfect way to unwind after exploring the mountains and cities.

Everything about the trip was well-organized. The transportation was smooth and reliable, and the tour guides and drivers were incredibly friendly and professional. I genuinely loved every moment and highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore the wonders of Peru.

My wife and I consider it great fortune to have found Stephan and the rest of the Truly Swahili team. Our trip to Uganda and Tanzania went off without a hitch, and offered memories that will last a lifetime. Stephan patiently explained all details of the trip in advance, and his choice of accommodations were absolutely perfect! Our guide Fred and driver Steven in Uganda are now considered friends, and the same can be said for our tour coordinator Irene in Tanzania, as well as our guide Kaka and driver Jambo. Our trip was not only fascinating, but it also was just plain fun! I had the privilege of trekking to get up close with gorillas in Uganda, and we then had the opportunity to see every creature Africa had to offer, ranging from giraffes and zebras to elephants, lions and rhinos. This is probably one of the last places on the planet where you can still see these beautiful creatures in their natural element, and contacting Stephan is the first step in planning the trip of your life!

We had a fantastic trip on our first visit to Wales! Rachel and High Point Holidays took our preferences for sites, transportation, and accommodations and put together a travel plan that was exceptional. We never imagined we would see so many of the sites we were interested in during this trip. The itinerary was implemented flawlessly by accommodation hosts, guides and transportation services which were arranged for by Rachel. We enjoyed the opportunities to speak to Rachel by phone, and appreciated the value of traveling with an agency located where we were going to visit in Wales. Had it not been for Rachel's willingness to help us on somewhat short notice, we would not have been able to go on this trip at this time. Rachel convinced us our trip was doable. We are so grateful. My wife and I had a fantastic time in Switzerland and we thank Mathilde for listening to our needs and delivering a great trip! The hotels selected were perfect for us - we asked for 3/4 star to keep within a budget and al of the hotels were of great caliber, provided breakfast, and were in terrific locations, near everything we wanted. Mathilde calmed our nerves by offering to speak with us before the trip and in doing so, we were prepared to use the various modes of transportation - all of which ended up being very easy and convenient. We loved staying in Lucerne and exploring Mt. Rigi, were overwhelmed by the beauty of Grindelwald and I think our highlight was the e-bike tour from Interlaken. We then stayed 1 night in Zurich at a very nice hotel. Great trip and we felt totally supported by Mathilde. Highly recommend!

This trip was actually quite disappointing and I would not contract KimKim again for a trip in Mexico. They basically outsourced to another travel agency that charged very high prices for hotels and activities (now than we'd have paid booking the same hotels on booking.com, for instance), added their own 20% charge on that, and then KimKim added their 5%. So the trip ended up costing like a trip to Norway we previously had with KimKim, but... Mexico is not Norway! The activities were nice and the hotels good location (though the room in one was way too small for a family of 4), but this trip would have cost us half the amount had we organized it ourselves. That's too big a margin. Not sure we'll use KimKim again after this experience.

On the way there, seatbelts were not available on the back seat. I don't like risking my life or my kids' lives for any activity. Luckily they solved the issue before the drive back, because I'm was ready to walk back to our hotel instead (it was only half an hour walk, we could have walked on the way in had we known)

This was a really fun activity, and as a bonus we walked to their neighbor who is a bee keeper and heard all about the local (stingless) bees. Well worth it!
