My wife and I with my sister and her husband decided to use Kimkim to plan our trip to Chile and Rapa Nui (Easter Island). This turned out to be a great decision! Kimkim was great and planning the trip we wanted locating the best places to stay and the ideal tour groups. Further, Riwal was accessible to answer planning questions, responded to our wants and coordinated the trip once we arrived. For instance, we were picked up by the tour group on Rapa Nui and told we would need to purchase our tickets into the parks (~$100/person). However, we understood that these were already paid as part of the package. My sister sent a email to Riwal and, within minutes, the tour guide came to us to say he was mistaken and the tickets had been covered. In a different area, we saw the other hotels on Rapa Nui and were so glad we had Kimkim to pick an amazing one right on the ocean. It would have been impossible for us to compare hotels from our home. I would travel with Kimkim again in a second and am, in fact, considering our next trip with them now.

Our guide in Pantanal Nabutaka was EXCEPTIONAL! He was so knowledgeable, willing and such a pleasure to have around us! He took so much effort & time to show us countless wildlife especially birds and of course the jaguar! He made the Pantanal stay even better than what we had expected!

Service at Berco Pantaneiro could be better. It is too svsnty & stretched. The room is small & crammed. No surfaces to keep stuff. Thankfully there was an extra bed so we could use that. The re is no housekeeping, hence the room & bathroom felt dirty. Though I don't expect 5 Star service at the Pantanal, it could surely be better. One of the nights there was a power cut from 9 pm till 4 am. Was extremely hot & uncomfortable, given a safari starting at 7 am! It was impossible to contact the Manager to enquire. It is scary to think what if a guest had an emergency but there is no one at the property who can be contacted

The trip was phenomenal! The guides, accommodation and activities were all top notch. The only things I would suggest is more communication regarding day to day logistics. I didn’t always know details about where/when and for how long activities would be. That means I wasn’t prepared or dressed correctly on a regular basis. In addition, we ran into significant issues with visas that I would have appreciated more guidance on. I had to specifically ask whether a visa was needed for Cambodia else I wouldn’t have known to get one. We had to file for an emergency visa on the way home and ultimately had to repurchase a second set of flights home because they didn’t tell me I had to either file for a multi visit Vietnam visa or book a flight home that went through Hanoi to the next country. That type of support for a trip was expected to ensure a successful trip.

Our first trip to Greece was exactly what I expected it to be, thanks so Siena and KimKim. She asked the right questions in order to cater each day to what we wanted to see and do. She had great recommendations and provided all the details necessary for us to pack and plan appropriately for 11 days.

There were minor hiccups but nothing detrimental to the overall experience, and with so many details planned, we weren’t expecting everything to go perfect.

Siena and Lea were responsive and helpful. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

The streets are narrow and double parked so that made it difficult for taxis or drivers to be able to pull up right to the door, but it was usually just short walk up the street to the main road. It was fun to go to the village cooking class near Sigriya. It was a unique experience.

Our first visit to Morocco was a thrill. Nihad made the planning so easy. I originally intended to travel with my brother & his wife, but he had to undergo surgery a month before our planned trip. Nihad easily substituted one of my friends in their place, which increased the price only slightly. We started in Marrakech (2 nights at the excellent Riad al Rimal), then traversed the High Atlas Mountains to Valley of Roses (2 nights at the stunning Kasbah Tiziri). We took a camel ride to the desert camp (Sahara Stars Luxury Camp) for 1 night, then went on to Fes (2 nights at the Riad Farouzi Fes). We flew back to Marrakech for 2 nights (again at the Riad al Rimal). We spent our last free day seeing the Jardins Majorelle (spectacular), the Museum of Berber Arts, and the Yves St. Laurent museum.

The high points: observing the traffic in Marrakech (wild!), our lunch with the locals in the Valley of Roses, the camel ride to the desert camp, the stop at the women's cooperative Berber rug shop, every city guide we toured with, and the people of Morocco, all of whom were so warm and welcoming. Kudos to Nihad, who always responded immediately to our questions. And of course Richad, our tour manager/driver, who was invariably pleasant, helpful, patient, and informative.

Emanuela was amazing to work with from start to finish. Always responding quickly and having all the answers we need! She planned us the perfect trip and took into account everything we wanted to do. One of our excursions canceled before our trip and she informed us quickly before the trip happened and was able to book something else in a timely manner so we didn’t miss out. While we were in Iceland having her as a point of contact was very helpful as we once felt lost and we almost immediately sent us the exact address of where we needed to go and we enjoyed all the restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended using Kimkim if you want to have a stress free trip where you can just show up and go and not have to think much about it. Highly recommended.

The whole trip from start to finish was amazing! The booking on kimkim was seamless and Majid was very accommodating with our interests and needs. He messaged me almost immediately while we were planning and checked in several times during the trip. Our driver Hasan became part of our family for the week! He was so proud to show us his country and particularly where he was raised. He was very certain to stop if we needed a break and made arrangements with local tour guides as we arrived. He had a very good sense of humor and a very caring disposition. The people of Morocco couldn't have been more friendly. Our guide in Fez was extremely knowledgeable and we were able to see so many amazing crafts. The family we had dinner with was delightful and we really enjoyed the experience of seeing how they lived. The Riads were wonderful and the hotel in the gorge was beautiful, modern and clearly the owners were paying attention to detail. the food the that hotel was excellent! Our Camel ride into the dessert was so fun as well. We all had a terrific trip

Vicky orchestrated the perfect Australian Holiday. We only had a week and she managed to get everything booked that we requested. She provided a very detailed intinerary, and everything went very smoothly. And when we had a question when waiting for a tour bus she quickly responded and confirmed we were in the right spot. Vicky, went the extra mile for us as we had to postpone our original booking because of health issues. It was a blessing to have someone who was so caring and knowledgeable.
We landed in Sydney early in the morning and hit the ground excited to explore on our own before our scheduled afternoon tour. Because of the information and suggestions Vicky made we covered a lot of territory.
We would recommend the Panorama Sydney sights half day tour by AEA. Our driver Paul, did an execellent job giving us an overview of the cities history and significant sites.
The Blue MountainWildlife Full Day Sights and Hiking tour by AEA was outstanding. Nigel our guide was informative and kept us moving so we didn’t miss out on anything. The hike was the highlight, a bit strenuous but so worth it.
Uluru Sacred Sites, Sunset, BBQ and Star Talk did not disappoint. So beautiful! Ayers Rock -Sunrise field of light was impressive. Both tours were by AAT Kings. Would have loved another day in Uluru but did not have the time. Would recommend staying 2 days.
Cairns was a delight. Enjoyed the free time exploring the city. The highlight of the whole trip was snorkeling on the barrier reef. We did the Sunlover reef Cruise and booked a private snorkeling tour. Highly recommend! We were able to see so much more and knew what we were seeing.
The Classic Kuranda with Tropic wings was great too. Doing the scenic train ride first and the Gondola on the return was perfect. The Gondola ride was breath taking. Got to hold a kangaroo. That was special!!!
Vicky planned a trip for us that we will always remember! I recommend using KimKim tours!

Panoramic Sydney Sights - Half Day Tour

We had a good trip to Berlin and London. Lucie Dupuis did an excellent and professional job of assisting in the planning for our trip. She provided useful and insightful input and recommendations as our trip plan evolved.
All scheduled tours in Berlin were excellent, in particular the tours by Insight Cities (Romin and Justin are certainly two of the best guides we have experienced over our 20+ years of traveling).
In London, our guide for the Westminster Tour, by LivTours and guide, Charlotte Everett (of Rebel Tours) was also excellent.
Also, of particular note, was the superior and high end transport and chauffeur service provided by Blacklane and Klass Chauffeur.

Jessica was very accommodating and helpful in setting up our visit, our itinerary, and adapting to changes that we threw her way. We had a wonderful experience on our first vacation in South Korea. There were no logistical problems with any of the hotels, transportation or guides. Everything went very smoothly. This was our first time planning a vacation this way and we really enjoyed not having to worry about logistics.

We have several tours with great, local, knowledgeable guides. This includes Daniel for the Taste of Lisbon, Feliz for a hike and exploring Sintra, and Bruno for exploring and understanding the Douro River valley. Liz Karen, from the start, was wonderful at helping us plan our trip. It started out with just information gathering for two, to a well planned down to every detail trip for 8. Her speedy response to our questions, her suggestions for where to stay and what to do, her scheduling of planes, vans and boats to get us around the country were perfect. Lizbeth was our trip contact if we had any questions while we were in Peru and she never let us down!
The Pacaya Samiria Lodge on the Amazon was a unique experience and may not be for everyone (no hot water, limited electricity) but we all LOVED it. Daniel, our guide, took us hiking in the forest, swimming IN the Amazon, fishing for piranha's, seeing: pink dolphins, owl monkeys, black collared hawks, egrets, an anaconda, toucans, three other types monkeys, too many birds to list, and so much more. Meeting the locals and seeing the sun set over the Amazon…I could just go on and on. The Sacred Valley portion was guided by Natalie and again more experiences that were beyond our imaginations. Lovely farm to table lunch that was prearranged. The traditional Pachmanca in Ollantaytambo was delicious.
The hotel, Aranwa, was fabulous!
I would recommend a day there just to relax in the middle of your journey. Off to Machu Picchu, the bucket list item on the trip, and another great guide, Jacquelyn, friendly hotel and great restaurants to be found.
Cusco! Natalie, once again, showed us the sites and did not disappoint. Foodies will love this town. Mother Earth changed our trip to the Rainbow mountain area into a lovely day with the locals in the snow. Our guide, Yari did her best to show us the unique terrain, animals, and ancient ruins. Over all this was a trip we will talk about for ever!

We had a truly fantastic family trip to Morocco! Everything was planned so well and went very smoothly. We felt very welcomed and taken care of especially traveling with children. Riding camels on the beach was very memorable, and hiking in the Ourika Valley was absolutely beautiful. Each of our tour guides was unique and wonderful. They helped us to feel at home in Morocco! I would definitely recommend Yassine and his company MOTB.

We used KimKim and worked with Melanie and her team to plan our honeymoon in Italy, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! We started in the north and made our way down south, stopping at several incredible destinations along the way — every detail was perfectly thought out.

What we loved most was how customizable everything was. Melanie took the time to understand what we wanted, worked within our budget, and helped us design an itinerary that felt completely us. From hotels and excursions to transportation between cities, everything was seamless and stress-free.

Melanie and her team were always available to assist, checking in from time to time and even sending helpful reminders about our next day’s itinerary. Their attention to detail and care made us feel so supported throughout the entire trip.

We never had to worry about a thing — we just got to enjoy our honeymoon and soak in all the beauty Italy has to offer. We can’t recommend Melanie and her team enough for anyone planning a special trip!

We had an absolutely fabulous time. Claire listened to our wants and wishes and fulfilled them well. From the first day we arrived in Dublin, to the last day in Dublin we enjoyed every minute.
We rented a car (best idea) and went counterclockwise around Ireland. We were traveling for 2 weeks.
Pros - The hotels, with the exception of one(in cons):
Iveagh Gardens Hotel - Dublin - Beautifully decorated, great buffet breakfast with lots choices, rooms were a good size, nothing too fancy but very comfortable.
Ten Square Hotel - Belfast - Very comfortable, good location to visit Belfast
Lough Eske Castle - Donegal Town - Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, great bartender! - definitely worth the stay
Victorian Hotel -Killarney - Lovely hotel. Very cozy, meals were order only(but delish) with a wait staff to be commended.
Sites:
Belfast - Black Taxi Tour - outstanding tour of Belfast and the N. Irelands troubled times. We felt like we were in a history class only with wit and lots of wisdom. I believe our driver's name was Justin and he was wonderful. He picked us up at our hotel and we were off. We thought 3 hours was going to be too long, but we could have continued for another 2 and been very happy.
Kylemore Abbey (Clifden)- an active real abbey - just beautiful, the dining room was majestic, with plates set the table of famous visitors from many years.
The Cliffs of Mohr - There are no words to really describe the Cliffs of Mohr from the ocean. It transports you to another world -imagining everything that has happened to Ireland and how it was naturally protected in many ways.
Rock of Cashel - stunning building, lots of history, very interesting. Great stop between Killarney and Dublin
Book of Kells/Long library - A must for every person who visits Dublin. the book itself is unbelievably beautiful. the long library is under renovations but still a wonder to see. Normally ~ 200K books but down to ~17k. Our guide was earning his masters in history at the college(Trinity) and extremely knowledgeable. It was a wonderful day
Teeling distillery - great tour and great whiskey - what else can I say
Our trip went smoothly, exactly as planned - no problems or issues with reservations, or tours. KimKim gave us a perfect itinerary, complete with directions, sites to see (other that what we had planned), and suggestions on where to eat. I highly recommend Kim Kim and especially Claire, our main contact.
Cons
the only real con we have is the Galmont Hotel ( Galway) - it was a great location for the shopping district and getting in and out of the city. However, it was not cozy, the bathtub was inconvenient for older people, and the room were difficult to get to. I would not recommend this hotel.

We did rent a car and it was great. It gave us the freedom to go where and when we wanted to go. Most of the roads were wide and easy driving but when we took the narrow roads we saw parts of Ireland we would not have seen. We only got lost once and lucked in to seeing cows filling the road, being driven to another field. We were also privy to seeing free range sheep, eating grass outside the fence and a sheep do, corralling sheep in an open field, not on a tour.

Again - we had a flawless trip with the exception of storm Amy, which prevented us from seeing The Giants Causeway, but that was of not fault of KimKim.

We just returned from an absolutely amazing trip to Greece and Italy, and we can’t thank Chris enough for making it all possible! From the very beginning, Chris took the time to understand exactly what we wanted — a mix of history, culture, food, and relaxation — and created the perfect itinerary.

Every detail was thoughtfully planned: smooth transfers, beautiful hotels in ideal locations, and incredible local experiences that we never would have found on our own. Even during the trip, Chris and his team checked in regularly and was always available if we had questions or needed assistance. It truly felt like we had a trusted friend looking out for us the entire time.
Thanks to Chris, we were able to just relax and enjoy every moment — from watching the sunset in Santorini to exploring the streets of Rome.

Divine Delphi Excursion

This is our first tour in Greece and one of the best. Delphi is a lot less crowded than Acropolis so we really had time to appreciate the Delphi Archaeological Museum and the archaeological site. We also had a really good tour guide who explained everything so well.

First, who is Sharon? We never worked with anybody named Sharon to our knowledge. We did work with Marion. We had a lot of back and forth to get the trip that we wanted. It seemed that our requests were overlooked and we had to keep bringing them up.
Arriving in Casa Blanca our driver was not at the airport to meet us. We had to call the given phone number and coordinate the meeting. The driver, who was the first day guide, did not speak English well and was not easily understood. The first day's tour was not as presented, consequently we did not really understand some of the stops. (We stopped at a plaza with lots of pigeons???) It would have been nice to have the driver's name ahead of time. The size of the van was nice.
Rabat--our guide was knowledgeable and gave a good presentation.
Chefchoun--our orientation walk did not happen at first. We were delivered to the hotel and we then asked Rashid, our driver, to give us a quick rundown.
On the way to Fez we stopped at the Volubilis ruins and the local guide, although knowledgeable, was on his phone all of the time. I almost asked him if we were interfering with his day. The restaurant, Roman City, was excellent. The chef, using his mother's recipes presented a great lunch (one of the better meals of our trip to that point). The ruins are ok, but if you have been to as many Roman ruins as we have it was redundant.
In Fez, our local guide was excellent. He had the patience of Job with all of the stops that the ladies in our group wanted.
Regarding the desert camp, we should have prepared a small bag for the overnight and left the suitcases in the van (please suggest this to future travelers). This would have made the transfers much easier and better. The camp was good, our camel guide was great and very nice.
Atlas Mountains-Dades. We stopped at the "Hollywood" movie studios to, take a picture of the outside? We had been in the car for an hour and half or two hours and were expecting a restroom. Nope, we would have had to pay to enter the facility. We did stop shortly down the road after requesting a break. The Eden Hotel was great but we only spent fifteen hours there.
Marrakesh--our guide was good and visiting a Madrassa was educational and brought history to life.
Essaouria--we were supposed to go to a restaurant where we would pick out our fish and it would be cooked for us. This feature was skipped entirely and we missed it (we have done this in other countries and enjoyed it greatly). We found the above restaurants the next day after our cooking class but were too full to have a dinner. The cooking class was well done, shopping, chopping and eating.
Essaouria to Marrakesh--our driver Hallie was early (we left prior to six AM!) and very nice.

General notes:
All of the hotels were very good to excellent and well situated.
We were never informed that KimKim was going to "sell" our trip to another broker. We were surprised to find this out two days prior to the start when we received release forms from Ultimate Morocco. We were disappointed as we thought that you were the actual tour company.
It would be beneficial to future travelers if you gave an idea of the cost of all of the meals that had to be paid in cash. ATM's were usually easy to find but limited in how much cash could be taken out. International banks like BNP Paribas was a great option and we suggest that guides direct guests to these branches.
As with all trips that we go on, adding tips to the package is irritating. Since you give suggestions on tipping, just include the amount and pay the drivers and guides directly.
