Jesse helped us planned Chile and Bolivia trip. In Chile, we went to Atacama Desert and Easter Island. As for Bolivia, we only had time for Uyuni Salt Flat.

Our entire journey from the north to south was well organized. We had Mr Hiệp as our guide during our days in the north, Mr. Nguyen in the central part for Hue, Kevin in Hoi An and Ms. Sara in the southern part. The guides showed us all important locations in the regions. Many a times lunch was included as part of our trip, and the guides asked for our dietary needs beforehand and passed the information on to the restaurant. There was flexibility in modifying the itinerary as per our convenience as well. Ms Vu organized the whole tour for us and was our main contact point.Most of our hotels were amazing. The only partial negative was the cruise on Halong bay Elegance Paradise. Our initial room had a very bad smell and we had to ask the cruise manager for a different room.
Overall a wonderful and memorable trip. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly!

This was our first time working with a travel agency to pre-book all our adventures prior to arriving at our destination. Working with Alvaro at Kimkim was amazing and so easy. He was very helpful in answering all of my questions regarding weather, what to bring and things to do, as well as tips on safety and exchanging currencies. We had an amazing time at the Galapagos and loved that there was no planning during our trip and we could fully enjoy without worry. Additionally Alvaro made sure that we had someone's contact info in case we had any questions throughout our trip: we were connected to the local guide at each island we visited. Thank you Alvaro for taking care of us and making our experience to the Galapagos Islands an unforgettable one!

Exploring the Underwater World: Diving Day in Santa Cruz

This was the absolute most amazing dive we've ever done. In speaking with a dive master on the boat who has dove when areas around the world, he mentioned the Galapagos was his number one. Just in our first dive, we saw everything from eagle rays, to white tipped sharks, to a school of hammerheads, and even a bait ball! It was truly an incredible adventure. The crew was also fun and passionate about their work. You can tell they love what they do and they love showing people what they do. Would definitely dive with Galadiscovery again!

Wildlife Encounter at Los Tuneles (Cabo Rosa)

Darwin, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. You can tell he was very passionate about the wildlife and his excitement was contagious. He was very knowledgeable about the different species of birds and sea life we encountered and was able to answer all our questions. Moreover he was also a great photographer and got a photo of us both in mid air on the first shot. Truly an unforgettable adventure. I can't believe we also got to see a sea horse!

The entire trip was fantastic. Liz our specialist was always on top of things and organized everything to our liking. All of the tours and planned activities were top notch. We made some adjustments as required. The emergency support staff was very responsive but were not able to make any changes as everything was non-refundable. A lesson learned for me. I would highly recommend using KimKim. The hotel locations were great. But below is some feedback on the hotels.

Shangri-La in Sydney has become a bit dated and the new W would be a good replacement. The showers were the worst water pressure that I have ever experienced.
The Regent of Rotorua was a old motel converted to a modern boutique hotel. Was very pleasant but the Pullman would have been a better option.
The Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park, Auckland was great but more of an Apartment. The check-in was at the Bakery counter and they had no staff, no room service and had to request cleaning service each day. Not a 5 star place but the apartment itself was fantastic!

We planned out own Helmut tour in Cairns which was out of this world. A must add in the future for KimKim.

I think it would have been nice to have some self planned activities with rental car options as we replaced a few by ourselves after the fact.

Some of the small group activities were not as high end as we would have expected and each of the buses were jam packed to the max. Again maybe some options here would have been good. But you don't really know until you experience it. We saw other families with more private transportation options.

The guides in all of our excursions were super knowledgeable and friendly.

In Queenstown the Funyak Safari Trip with Jetboat was fantastic.

We had an excellent experience booking our trip to Vietnam via Kimkim. Huge kudos to our specialist, Trang, who took amazing care of us before and during our trip. Trang was with us via Whatsapp on every step and was an absolute champ when I discovered at the very last minute that I had messed up our visas (yikes!). Thanks, Trang!!

We were incredibly impressed! The rooms were spacious and had stunning views. We stayed mid-week so we had the place nearly to ourselves and the full attention of the staff. We hear it gets busy on weekends with Vietnamese visitors coming from Hanoi. The food was some of the best we had in Vietnam.

Ninh Binh - Halong Bay Cruise - Overnight on boat

We went on a 3 day tour of Bai Tu Long Bay (close to Ha Long Bay, but more remote and less busy) on the Prince Junk with company Indochina Junks. Just wow! Such a beautiful area. The crew took excellent care of us and our girls LOVED kayaking and fishing for squid at night.

We found the meals - which were presented as 7-course meals of mostly seafood - to be too much food and just okay. The presentation was incredible, but the food itself not our favorite. But, of course, you're not in Bai Tu Long bay for the food!

Our ~10 mile hike was the absolute highlight of our entire trip to Vietnam. Our guide, Hien, helped us navigate places we would never have considered going on our own including walking on mud walls between rice paddies through a gorgeous valley. Hien arranged for our youngest daughter to be picked up by motorbike mid way through to meet us after the harder part of the hike. An incredible adventure for all!

We travel a lot, and this trip was one of our all-time favorites. Beautiful accommodations, good fresh food, spectacular scenery, and so much fun interacting with the locals. Our driver Ayoub made the trip. He was a safe and competent driver, the car was clean and well maintained, Ayoub’s English was excellent, he was always upbeat and friendly, he arranged for great stops and kept us on schedule, and he was just such a nice guy. We felt like he was our new best friend. The guides were also informed and awesome. Communication was easy and response was swift, even after our airline changed our dates last minute and everything had to be rebooked. We will be back but only if Ayoub is our guide. 😊

Our guide Tashi was just spectacular! He quickly figured out what our interests are when we travel and made modifications to the itinerary accordingly. We experienced Bhutan by talking to locals (who wanted to practice their Hindi) at the festival in Tsonga, being quizzed by a 7 year old on Buddhist dieties, chatting with a 15-year old who loves TikTok and basketball. None of these authentic interactions would have possible without Tashi's curation of urban and rural hikes. Our driver Ponshu (quite sure I misspelled his name) was phenomenal. Since my husband was recovering from a leg injury and had to slow down on the hikes, he decided to accompany us.
The Dochula Pass, and the Paro Takstang hike were fabulous experiences. The food and accommodation at Dhumra in Punakha was definitely our #1.

This was an amazing trip. Beautiful country, great people.
Hotels were great, sites were amazing. Camping in the Sahara was just over the top, love it.
Jalil my driver was just excellent. He was professional, safe, courteous, gave me great advice when venturing on my own. I normally not a good passenger/co-pilot. However, Jalil was so good at his job that I sleep in the car while traveling thru Morocco.

The planning and the coordination of the entire trip was excellent and without any issues. This is my first time using KimKim and it won't be my last! For the Full Patagonia Trip, I decided to go with a travel planner and agency because it requires a lot of logistics and coordination with agents and other companies in Chile and Argentina. Lorena, our travel expert, did a SUPERIOR job with the itinerary (11 days). During the planning phases of the trip (which began a year in advance), Lorena listened to my requests, concerns, and my adventurous soul, and put together a stellar trip and experience. The final itinerary containing everything from drivers' names, tour companies, phone numbers, descriptions, meetings points was detailed and remarkable. I traveled with my best friend and we have returned with many great memories!!! THANK YOU!!!

In reference to the language, I speak Spanish; therefore, it was not difficult to communicate with people. However, many people speak English in Chile and Argentina. It will be helpful though to learn some basic Spanish words if you only speak English.

As soon as we arrived to Santiago, Chile, our driver, Alejandro (TURISMO MILODON) was waiting for us. He drove us to Hotel Ladera and we checked-in in the morning because we decided to pay for the previous night to have a secure early check-in. This is something I always do when arriving early morning to a hotel. Soledad "Sol" "Sole" was our Santiago City Tour that afternoon. Soledad and Alejandro (driver) provided a comfortable environment and gave us great information about Santiago. We walked around the city and visited many of the landmarks. Although I have visited Santiago in 2010, it was great to have those memories back. Soledad is a great guide tour--she is full of information. We have many conversations related to history, politics, religion, and the Chilean genealogy (DNA testing, etc.). Great job Soledad!!! Abrazos!!!

Visiting San Jose Volcano and Andes Mountains with Ando Andes was great. Thank you to Andres, Matias, and Laura. It was Laura's first day doing the trekking with Andres and she dis a GREAT JOB!!! I hope you get the job. Meeting other travelers from other parts of the World was a highlight as well. It was a small group and everyone was very friendly. Thank you for the surprise---- Andres and company organized a "picnic." There was wine, juice, water, olives, crackers, cheese, cookies... all was included! THANK YOU GUYS!!! ABRAZOS!

After Santiago, we began our Patagonia adventure. We took an early morning flight (5:45am) to Puerto Natales. Patagonia Planet was the transport in Puerto Natales. I can't remember the driver's name but he was providing historical information about the town--- very kind of him! Hotel Costaustralis --- AMAZING! The view from the room was to the bay and the mountains. The staff and the food (breakfast and dinner) was very good!!! There was a restaurant in Puerto Natales called EL BARCO (highly recommended)--great ASADOS AND FISH!!! The handcrafted beer (brewed on the premises) was very refreshing.

The hike to Torres del Paine National Park by W Circuit was out of this world. The team of guides: Ramiro, Seba, and Hector was gentle, friendly, and very professional. Once again, a small group and they were checking on everyone's safety because it is a very demanding hike and trekking (4 hours going up and 4 hours coming down). Once you get to the Base of Torres del Paine... you realized that it was worth it!!!

The transport from Puerto Natales to El Calafate, Argentina by Turismo Zaahj (Big comfortable A/C bus) was EXCELLENT. Funny and friendly drivers (there are 2 because they take turns), and the customer service provided at the El Calafate Station was superb. Ana at the front desk--THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF MY ISSUE. I lost my passport and wallet on the bus. Kimkim and Ana from Turismo Zaahj located it and returned it to me. SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL YOUR ASSISTANCE!!! We had a driver, Joaquin, who went far and beyond chasing the bus when I told him about the passport and wallet. AGAIN--PLENTY OF GRATITUDE.

Perito Moreno Glacier Mini Trekking was an incredible experience. Thank you to all the staff at the base of the Glacier and for the shot of whiskey at the end of the path. What a lovely surprise!!! This experience is worth it!!! Once again, thank you to Lorena for accommodating my priorities for this trip. It worked perfectly! And the weather was just ideal. This activity was special because it was done on the 31st of December (last day of 2023). What a way to end the year!!!
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in El Calafate and you cannot go wrong with variety and quality of the food and the service.

Lastly, Ushuaia--- Tierra del Fuego and the End of the World. Lorena scheduled great activities. The trekking and canoeing in Tierra del Fuego National Park was so peaceful and meditative. We learned to appreciate this planet more and more!!! Thank you to Luis (driver), Juan and Carlos. The home cook meal at the end was a real surprise.... with wine and great company. Small group of friendly people. The beef stew with vegetables was so good!!! Great coffee too! Lorena thought about all these details. Isla de los Fuegos transport was very professional. Ushuaia is a lovely town. The Beagle Channel and Penguins tour was EXCELLENT. I was able to be close to the Penguins. We visited Glacier Martial and that was done independently---- another hike and trekking but we got to the base of the Glacier. Terrific experience!

Overall, this adventure has been a very rewarding one. We were able to do many physical activities that, despite our excellent body fitness, it also requires a different mind set. Letting go of insecurities, anxieties, and fears was part of the lesson. Recognizing the importance of mother Earth and how to preserve it for future generations was also an important aspect of the trip. This was fun, mystical, educational, meditative, mysterious, challenging--- austral and worth it!!!

Thank you LORENA for giving us this unforgettable adventure!!! We will be back!!!

The highlight of the trip. Great coordination with the ferry and the guides waiting for us at the base of the Glacier. A great team is awaiting for us to show us how to walk on ice!!! Unbelievable experience provided by Hielo y Aventura.

What an amazing time we had!
I asked Kat to help me organize a surprise 16th bday trip for my daughter and I gave her a wish list of places my daughter wanted to see/things she wanted to do.
Kat organized our trip so we made the most of our time. Her suggestions for a walking tour of Roman ruins on London was really good. Kevin, our guide, knew so much history. We also took a car trip to see Hampton court and Blenheim castles with David and he was also so knowledgeable.
I am so happy with the trip Kat planned. I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

Wow! How do you sum up 7 days of adventure in a few sentences? This was our first time to Morocco and I was travelling with my older father. Sharon and the team couldn't have been better in organising a trip that was tailored to both of our interests and abilities. We felt like we really saw and experienced Southern Morocco in ways that wouldn't have been possible on our own. From women's craft collectives in the Atlas Mountains, to 16th century architectural marvels, incredible food, watching the sun rise from the top of a sand dune in the Sahara desert, visiting a musician's village and having a private concert, seeing the stunningly beautiful Ben Yousef Madrassa up close... We met so many wonderful local people only too happy to welcome us and share a bit of themselves and their country with us. Special thanks must go to our guide and tour manager, Jamal. Patient, kind, caring, knowledgeable, hilarious and unflappable - our trip wouldn't have been the same without him. Thanks too to all of the local guides we met - you were all amazing! I know this is the start of many future visits to this amazing country. See you again soon, Morocco...

Amazing trip! Guides Florencia in Buenos Aires, Rami in Salta/Jujuy and Nicolas in San Pedro de Atacama were absolutely fantastic. We had a trip of wonderful contrasts - city, jungles, mountains and desert- once in a lifetime!

Christina and Mathia were extremely helpful. Everything was amazing! The apartment in Aurland on the fjord was incredible. We were on the water and the view was breathtaking. We also truly enjoyed our experience at the GLOD Aurora Domes. We saw the Northern lights all 3 nights, loved the dog sledding and the reindeer sledding. A truly incredible experience! Thank you!

Robbi helped us with everything. Besides planning and make bookings needed for entire journey - he was a great driver , travel guide (planning the room stays, beds, luggages, car pick ups....), definitely a .walking history book and definitely a great food guide ! He even recommended the correct medication for us, when daddy had a recurrent nerve pain.

We had a great time , exploring and hearing about the history of the coastal sites from Zagreb, Zadar, Plitvice, Split, Ston to Dubrovnik. Although we designed the trip such that it is a touch and go... we certainly received a full download of how Croatia came about. And not to forget, we had great food at the selected restaurants and local food/snacks! We loved the hotel at Zadar!

Erin helped us to plan our trip to Patagonia, specifically the W trek (with a few add ons), but she had an absolute wealth of knowledge to support us with all our other queries. I asked Tamer to put a week long trip together for my 17 year old son and me , about 8 days in advance, just before Christmas. In a few days, he put together a fantastic trip. He was in regular contact with me from the start. The first day in Quito was on our own since we arrived so late. Then Otavalo, Cotopaxi, Quilotoa Lagoon, Banos, the Amazon Basin and a stop at hot springs on the way back. Activities included hiking in the Andes. an adventure park, hiking in the Amazon Basin, lots of great sightseeing. Our driver and guide, Sebastian Carrera, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about Ecuador’s geography, history, flora and fauna. He was very personable, respectful, interesting and kind. Loved it all and so did my son.

We had the most amazing trip of the French Riviera thanks to Kimkim team and especially Sarah. Everything from hotel bookings, to car rental, 5-6 trips to various historic locations, food/walking tours, winery/olive oil tasting and tips and adivce were planned flawlessly.

Most importantly, Sarah kept helping us with adjustments to the trip based on changes in weather (rain/wind) etc. so were able to enjoy every single day. The choice of hotel locations was very thoughful and we were always close to transportation and food. the plan included driving directions, local events (like Christmas markets etc) - it just made our trip hassle free and truly memorable!
