Our overall experience with KimKim was great. The places they set for us to see and the accommodations were as we expected. The hotels we splurged on were extraordinary, and Kimkim had everything scheduled quite well. The highlight of our working with Kimkim was our private driver. Said spoke perfect English and was engaging, professional and has actually become a friend.

The best of the best!! Loved this experience. The hotel upgraded our room at their own will without asking because the highest end suite was available. It was large, well appointed and bar none the most special hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The fact that this was one families private residence that had been converted to a hotel was interesting. We loved reading about the hotel and the renovation process. The Raman was spectacular, the restaurant fancy and the staff a 10!! We spent NYE here and enjoyed every minute of our time here.

Our driver Said, who was with us for the entire trip, was the greatest! He is knowledgeable, sensitive to your needs, knows how to park, where to park, what to see, the best bathroom stops, and just an overall friendly man! Highly recommend Said to any Americans coming for a trip! His English is terrific !

Joao did a great job organizing everything for us. All went according to plan and Joao was available on very short notice to provide additional guidance. We would strongly recommend using Joao and his team.

Esther, Kagiso, and Lucy were all so amazing! I don't think our trip to South Africa would have ever actually happened without their guidance and advice and expert itinerary. They were incredible and so is South Africa. They handled all of the overwhelming details, which left us to get to simply sit back and enjoy where we were and the incredible opportunity we had. They were often like our "moms" checking in just enough, but not too much, showed interest in our trip, and provided much needed advice throughout the trip. It was so helpful and reassuring to know we had expert advocates with us. All of the accommodations were clean, safe, and in good locations with helpful and friendly staff. I am sure we will be using kimkim again on future trips. The only bad part about this trip is now wondering how on earth we'll top it, guess we'll have to go back!

As for reviewing South Africa: I can't possibly say enough good things about this country other than what one local said while we were there "It's like cake, and everyone wanted a slice"

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in Morocco. Kimkim provided us with a very nice car and driver, for the entire trip. The hotels and guided tours were excellent. I would definitely use their services again. A special thanks to our driver for being so helpful, patient, and friendly.

Connie was fantastic and made many great recommendations throughout our trip! Our absolute favorite place was Queenstown, NZ—so much to see and do. Our other favorite place was the Reef House Boutique Hotel in Palm Cove... The staff there was ridiculously professional, and it was a great place to stop and relax at the halfway point of our trip. Sydney and Melbourne were both incredibly beautiful cities with a lot going on for tourists. My only suggestion to others: don't go to the Outback in the peak of summer! Other than the extreme heat, our trip was amazing, and our services provided by Kimkim were great.

I would not recommend this tour. While the area is beautiful, the endless drive through the middle of no where was not ideal. The trip advertises Kangaroos and Emus... Our tour guide told us that in the year she'd been working with the company, she'd never seen a Kangaroo. Its on a cattle farm—you will only see cattle. You might see a camel, but even the camels are not good for the cows, so they drive them away. If you're looking to see wildlife, the whole area around Uluru probably isn't great. Our time would have been better spent exploring Uluru or Kata Tjuta for the natural beauty.

Our first experience using KimKim did not disappoint. Our advisor, Louis, was knowledgeable and responsive in developing our tour of Morocco. The riads were outstanding experiences for a more authentic way to travel through Morocco. The hosts and teams were welcoming and caring, providing their own insights into the areas and culture, and the home-made breakfasts and meals were delicious. Our activities were well-planned and all the guides, classes, and experiences were great. Finally and perhaps most important, our driver for the trip, Said Misser, was truly outstanding. Morocco was an even more spectacular experience because of our conversations with him throughout the journey, his advice, recommendations, and introductions (including to local eats, hidden spots, and Berber music), and his friendship and care. We highly recommend working with Louis to organize your trip to Morocco.

I am saddened to say that while the planning experience was good, the support during our trip was lacking and we will not be using kimkim's services going forward. We were booked an a FlexiToursNZ trip from Rotoura to Auckland on Dec 28th. Not only were we not notified in advance about having to change vehicles twice, but when we brought this us to Jon he was not helpful in helping us understand why this happened (I'm actually still waiting on his feedback from his contact at the tour company). After a long day (made even longer by the issues experienced from Rotoura to Auckland) we arrived at a hotel that was old, moldy, and far below expectations. Again in mentioned this to Jon, his answer was that he will take it up with the product team. Needless to say, we did not spend the night there and transferred to another hotel. I am not looking for a refund, but I would like answers as to what happend on our tour and how the product team could send a family (with small children) to hotel with moldy ceilings and peeling paint that is down the block from two strip clubs!

I and my husband had an amazing time in Kenya, at both Maji Moto cultural camp and Maasai Mara. The staff at each place we stayed was exceptionally warm and helpful, and we could see that every detail of the trip had been planned meticulously. My only concern was during the planning phase of this trip, where responses to our messages were quite slow at times. Even though the team was working in the background (as was evident later), there were times when we were in panic mode because we had not heard back from the team faster, and were also dealing with lot of issues at home at the same time. Communication is the only area that needs some improvement, but that did not stop Joseph and Nariku Travels from planning a superb experience for us. The trip was our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect and memorable time. Thank you Joseph and Susan!!

It is hard not to feel how magical it is in Patagonia, the nature is truly exceptional. We really could tell the passion Francisco and his team have for Patagonia. It was evident they wanted us to experience this same passion, and we felt really well taken care of. There were a few occasions were an activity detail was slightly messed up, or we didn't understand information about an excursion (inevitable with travel!) Any time this occurred, Francisco and his team put effort into supporting us and remedying the situation. On one occasion, they booked us a new excursion, which was hugely appreciated. Our favorite overall experience was El Calafate, and we absolutely loved the Torres del Paine hike and Simple Patagonia hotel.

Hotels worth noting:
1. Imago Spa in El Calafate: Solid hotel! Communicative staff, pool was nice to have. Great to start out here. If you are looking for something different, do NOT hesitate to book Estancia Nibepo Aike for lodging as well. I wish we did this - would spend all my time on this estancia!
2. Simple Patagonia: ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!! Staying in one of the small houses with the view of the water was so tranquil. It was a perfect place to come home to after a long hike (there's a bath in the room which is lovely, and the bed is very comfortable as well). The whole property is so peaceful, the staff is so helpful and kind, and the food was delicious. Best hotel by far of our stay, we would recommend this for all future travelers.
3. Casa Bueras: great boutique hotel stay, and this area of Santiago was our favorite. Friendly staff, would recommend!

Experiences:
1. Perito Moreno hike: 10/10, awesome experience and unique. You get to drink whiskey at the top of the glacier!
2. Darwin Kayaking: 11/10 - this was one of our favorite days, and surprisingly so. Would suggest this to any future travelers! The guide is fantastic and friendly, and the fact that it's more intimate (with only 6 people total) made it super special. It's also something different to do in the region, which made it exciting as well.
3. Estancia Nibepo Aike: Absolutely our favorite day - truly exceptional. The nature was so powerful and beautiful. I would suggest this for all future travelers. Spend as much time here as you can, and look into the different excursions they offerent.
4. Torres del paine hike - incredible. Very challenging for newer hikers, but very exciting and rewarding. We did the right side of teh W!
5. Horseback riding in puerto natales - really enjoyable experience! We loved it and would recommend it. Anywhere you can horseback ride in patagonia is worth it!
6. Penguins in punta arenas - very cool and different experience. Would warn travelers that it has a strong chance of being cancelled because of the wind (we were lucky that we got to be there!) Punta Arenas itself does not have much to do. I think Ushuaia might have been more interesting to visit!

This is the best company to use when planning a trip for India. From planning to execution. Very easy to text Ravi, Priya, and Aditya with quick response time before and during trip. They provided an excellent driver Sukhjinder, who was always on time and showed up magically when done with our tour stop.
The tour guides provided Gary Julka (for Agra) and Lovjeet (for Jaipur) were amazing for families of all ages. I will definitely use them again when planning another trip to India and will refer to all my friends.

This was a trip of a lifetime! It was so lovely to have everything planned for when we arrived. The only drawback was paddle boarding was booked for one of our days but you actually need experience to complete this activity so we had to change to a kayak on the day with the provider. It was still a good day.

Overall, our family has enjoyed this trip a lot as it was varied with culture, nature, experiences and food! To fireflies to tarsiers, everyday was filled with something brand new and exciting. In addition to all the memorable activities, the people and guides we met made a huge difference. The shoutouts go to Jonas as he taught us the basics of free-diving (which we were able to apply on our snorkelling) and was attentive to our preferences on this journey. Adding on to our experience on our island hopping, the food was always high quality and immersed us in the Philippine cuisine. Our personal favourite were the banana cue for dessert ( a snack for us after the long but fun day) On the other hand, our boat transfer with Amick and spectacular sights was made even more remarkable as … taught us about the marvels of the sea. Our holiday flew by as we were accompanied by fish, turtles, and wild dolphins!! As a recommendation for your programme, we thought that canyoning was an unforgettable memory and would be highly enjoyed by anyone who loves adventure as we jumped into the crystal waters and hiked in the serene greenery. Our entire trip was planned by the Kim Kim team (Erin, Nara and Laura). It went smoothly and meant we didn’t need to organise much ourselves at all. They were super helpful right from the start and met us at the beginning of our trip to help answer any questions and go through the itinerary. The team had cleverly scheduled our W trek itinerary well ensuring we were camping / sleeping at the best spots and at the best times. Throughout our trip if we had any further follow ups or problems she would respond instantly. We cannot thank them enough for making our trip enjoyable and helping it run smoothly.

Just finished a trip to Terceira and Sāo Miguel, organized by Tiago from Kim Kim and I highly recommend it to anybody interested in doing a self-guided experience.

Tiago's expertise was critical to help us make the best of our trip. he was patient, knowledgeable and very accommodating to our group's needs (which were a lot since we had 5 people). He even created a WhatsApp group so we could stay connected and checked up on us often to make sure that we provided all the information we needed and that everything was going well during our trip.

Both islands were amazing and the hikes suggested by Tiago were unbelievable. We were lucky in that the weather cooperated a lot and we were able to do almost everything int he agenda that Tiago prepared. Some of the places we went to (like the volcanic rock pools in Terceira) we wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for Tiago's recommendations.

Our group traveled to the Azores in December (low season), which was great weather wise (not too cold), but I definitely want to go back in May (high season) to fully appreciate the beauty of the natural flowers that were not in bloom during our trip.

Senhora da Rosa: Tradition & Nature Hotel

Great experience staying at Senhora da Rosa Tradition & Nature Hotel. The building is beautiful and the rooms were gorgeous. Everything was very unique and it felt very special. We ate at both restaurants within the hotel on different days and the food was fantastic. They also have a bar which made great cocktails. We all wanted to try some of the amazing treatments offered at their SPA, but because it was low season (we were there during Christmas) there wasn't a lot of availability when we arrived. Also, we had a pretty tight schedule so our options were limited.

The hotel is not located in the center of town, so a car is definitely needed, but it was less than a 10 minute drive to get to any place within the town of Ponta Delgada. I also liked that it was sort of removed from the main streets, which made the hotel and the vibe very peaceful.

I loved this canyoning experience at Azores. Because of the time of the year when went, they only had the short time options, but I definitely would have done the longer one if it was offered. My only request to Kimkim team is to let people know the breakup of expenses on travel and hotels (not the break-down to individual days) ... so that people can decide if they can go more luxurious in travel or should go down on hotels etc.
That's something policy related that Kimkim must do.

Other than that, you exceeded my expectations.
