The hotel itself is fine if slightly dated, and perhaps less "high end" than we had hoped. The snacks in the room were a welcome addition, and were refilled with regularity. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a very nice view. The beds were pretty comfortable as well. The hotel is somewhat lacking in amenities, but perhaps you could chalk it up to being the winter season and not being able to take advantage of what appeared to be additional things to do on the grounds during the summer months. The restaurant, in both of our views, was serviceable for breakfast but unfortunately terrible for dinner. The price for dinner wasn't inexpensive and was definitely the wrong move. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and nice enough but avoid the restaurant!

This hotel is beautifully situated on the waterfront, a short distance from downtown Auckland. The hotel was clean, modern, inviting, and accommodating - it was the perfect first stop on our honeymoon. The room was well appointed with a soaking tub and modern amenities. When we told Megan Lee at the front desk that it was our honeymoon, she sent a bottle of bubbly and a dessert to our room, along with a beautiful note, to welcome us and congratulate us on our celebration. We greatly appreciated this gesture and is indicative of how the hotel really pays attention to its guests needs (and even small comments!) to a great degree. Wonderful experience overall and we would definitely return without hesitation.

This surpassed our expectations in every way.

One got the impression that the owners of this hotel are working very hard to improve the facilities and ambiance of their hotel. It was entirely comfortable, but still in yhrr we process of becoming more.

This was a quirky, but charming hotel. It was well situated within walking distance to the market and the castle.

This was the only time on our trip that we got to speak with other travellers. It made a delightful change. Gilberto had access to the key to a local, rarely available to the public, orthodox cathedral and he gave us a private tour.

The ceilings in the rooms of this hotel were unbelievable. Such craftsmanship!

We stayed, NOT at the Hotel Boka, but the Hotel Art. This was a lovely hotel, perfectly located and spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was exceptional.

Gorgeous city! Loved everything about this place. Don’t miss the markets.

We initially thought we would self drive, but a friend who lives in Albania convinced us otherwise. Thank goodness. Hectic, doesn’t begin to describe the traffic. Tirana is so much prettier than I had anticipated and so rich in history. We loved it.

We love the city of Berat. It’s like no other place. The sunset tour of the castle was breathtaking

It was a lovely meal, on the terrace, with good company.

After a long drive we were welcomed to the Guesthouse after checkin time (which we did get in contact with to notify that we were running late) by the owner Abbi. He was VERY accommodating and helpful. We had a room for 4 people which was perfect for our family. The guesthouse is located on a beautiful property. In the morning we had a great breakfast and unfortunately were back on the road.

Great place to end our Iceland trip. We were able to park our car in the hotels garage which was nice having a dry place to straighten up our luggage and car before heading back home. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants.

This was one of our favorite stops out of 7. Big, clean rooms. They had a great bar in lobby and breakfast was perfect. Amazing views of mountains and just a 5 minute drive to Vik

We stopped off her just long enough to sleep, shower and leave.

Only downside was we were on the second floor and they have no elevators. Just a little bit of a pain bringing luggage in and out.

We had two rooms, and both were clean. My kids were excited to have a TV for the first time in a few days of being on the road. Unfortunately, the Hotel WIFI wasn't that great and we couldn't make it through a movie without TV disconnecting for WIFI. Not a big deal for us we ended up getting in the car and driving around at 10:00 at night which was amazing.

The Ice Cave tour was great for the ones who were able to do it. My daughter who is afraid of height could not walk on the wood planks that were situated throughout the cave. There was no railings on these planks and she ended up having a panic attack. We both had to turn around and were not able to complete the tour. My wife and son continued and enjoyed the tour.

We first had some lunch before entering Hvammsvik Hot Springs and the food was excellent. Everything was well organized with lockers and changing rooms.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience snorkeling between two Continents. Waters were crystal clear, and we were well geared up that we weren't cold at all.

What amazing day we had on the water seeing the glacier. Guide was great and we had a blast..

From the moment we arrived we felt like family being welcomed home. The service in this resort is simply amazing and you feel tucked away in the jungle away from the world but surrounded by luxury and beauty. It's especially well suited to families and the travelers looking for quiet and the boutique feel of a small resort.

The deck right on the water and view of fjord was amazing

If you want to be close to transportation options and have a clean room, beautiful historical building that serves an amazing breakfast, this is the place. Rooms are small & basic but clean. The beauty of the hotel, service and convenience of transportation made it ideal

Another great guide....though her name is one I can't pronounce or spell! She was a great guide for the Guggenheim, gave really good perspectives.

Loved Maya....she was so enthusiastic about the area and preserving the small farmer culture that it really made the trip enjoyable.

This was a really fun trip....highly recommend it!

It was raining, so we did plan B....a train trip to a different spot up the coast. Great guide, who we had for tomorrow as well...Anna.

The guide was lovely, however the Royal Palace was closed that day so we couldn't go. We went to the Prado, where she spent way too long talking about a couple of paintings by Greco. We would have rather seen more in the Prado than the focus on a couple paintings. That said, she was a very good guide and very personable.

While the guide was great, it didn't feel like the "tapas" we were expecting. We essentially sat down in 3 restaurants and had a single item in each place.

Our guide, Itzsia (hopefully I’m spelling correctly) was amazing! She also was helpful for kid friendly options! The food was so good!

Our stay at the Schweizerhof in Zürich was fantastic. The hotel was nothing short of spectacular, and it rounded off our trip perfectly.

Our stay at Hotel Villa Flori on Lake Como was spectacular. Despite the challenges with the ferry services, the hotel really stood out as a high point of our stay

The Cascada Boutique Hotel in Luzern was charming, and the staff was lovely. Breakfast was delightful. However, we were a bit disappointed with the size of the rooms, which were smaller than what was shown in the pictures.

Our stay at Hotel Spadari Al Duomo in Milan was lovely. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the hotel itself was beautiful. We really enjoyed walking around Milan.

The Zürich city guided walking tour was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was fantastic, really knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable. Zürich is a truly amazing city, and this tour gave us a great taste of what it has to offer.

The Mount Rigi Panorama Trail & Cliff Walk was quite the adventure. However, my wife and I both experienced some altitude sickness due to the high elevation. Regardless, the views were breathtaking and worth the climb.

The private boat tour on Lake Como was an absolute delight. The driver was friendly, and the three-hour tour was just the right amount of time to appreciate the beautiful lake. However, we did experience some challenges with the ferry services being sold out, which made visiting Bellagio a bit of a hassle. The town was more crowded than we expected.

Our guided tour of Lucerne was exceptional. Our guide was informative and really added to the experience.

A beautiful hotel. Very gracious with nice restaurant. Rooms while quite small, very comfortable. The decor and references to Churchill were a nice touch. On-site parking a big plus.

Great roomy accommodation attached to pub. Located in the centre of this small village. Loved it but two downsides - noisy patrons in the beer garden and only access via external timber staircase. Hard with luggage.

Quirky hotel, well located near the Thames and Borough Market and an easy walk into central London

I wish we would have been here longer - we stayed our last night and had to leave quite early to catch our flight. We were welcomed with a cold glass of lemonade while we checked in. The hotel is right around the corner from many wonderful restaurants and shops, so we had fun walking through and finding someplace to have our last dinner in Greece. We left at 3 a.m. and the hostess arranged for us to have breakfast packed in a bag for us, which was very kind. Rooms are beautiful and spacious.

This is a beautiful property with expansive views, lots of space, close access to the beach, and helpful staff.

This is a beautiful property in a great location in Oia. It is right on the caldera and require a lot of steps and stamina to get from the main street to the rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the housekeepers did a nice job keeping us supplied with towels and toiletries.

The catamaran cruise was a highlight of our trip. From the kind and helpful crew and well-appointed boat to the absolutely gorgeous views of Santorini that you can only experience by sea, this experience was amazing. Our guides stopped at several location so we could swim and snorkel, gave us interesting and helpful information about Santorini's history, and made us a delicious dinner. The sunset was stunning and closed out the day perfectly.

This is a beautiful winery right outside of Fira. Our chef Angelikki provided helpful instruction with history of the winery, region, traditional foods, and ingredients. This was a hands-on experience that we really enjoyed. The wines were delicious.

This was a comprehensive and well-guided tour of the key ancient sites in Athens. The tour guide provided great history and context to what we were seeing and tied the whole tour together in an engaging narrative.

This activity was really special, and it's an experience I'll always remember. Our guide, George, picked us up at our resort and took us to a beautiful olive oil factory in Halki. We were able to drive through the countryside and several scenic villages while George told us about the history about the island and the region. He then took us to Miss Maria's and Mr. Yannis' farm where we received instruction and helped create a traditional Greek dinner. They couldn't have been more kind and gracious, and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. The meal was delicious and the experience was absolutely fantastic.
