We usually plan and book our own travels, but Peru was new for us and we didn't have the time to do all the research. We found Kimkim and let Anne do our planning for us. She was amazing and thought of everything. From corona virus protocols to perfect hotels to having drivers ready for us. She worked within our budget and didn't seem put off at all when we requested changes. She book Julio as our tour guide in Cusco. He was extremely knowledgeable, terrific English, and very patient with my lack of adjusting to the altitude.

We were so thrilled with the advice and service provided by Eleni Fotiou in planning and executing our recent 2-week self-drive road trip to mainland Greece. Eleni spoke to us by phone to get a sense of what we were looking for (how much we wanted to drive each day, how adventurous we were, what type of hotels we liked, etc.) and she then put together an incredible and creative itinerary, including things we would never have known about. Our highlights included a self-guided Delphi tour, hikes and drives through the glorious Zagora region (which is barely even mentioned in our guide book), a fabulous guide in Olympia, a bike tour along the Peloponnesian coast through villages, staying in a fabulous stone villa in the south of Peloponnese, magnificent drives through the mountains, and two one-day trips to two magnificent small islands (Stetses and Hydra). Eleni arranged everything from the rental car to the spots where we wanted formal guides, to the hotels, and she was available throughout the entire trip to answer questions and provide timely advice. I would highly recommend Eleni to anyone visiting Greece – she knows every inch of it and is a delight to work with!

We had a fantastic trip to Costa Rica planned by Diego. He stayed within budget yet was able to get us into very desirable locations. He was very responsive when we had questions/concerns. All the locations we stayed at were great for our family of 5. Every guide was on time and were all very professional and courteous.

Our first stop was Arenal at the Los Lagos resort where we had a tour with Marcos of La Fortuna falls and Arenal. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and pulled over a few times to get close up views of sloths along the road side. We also had a great time with our guide Luis whitewater rafting. He made the trip exciting yet kept everything very safe. We also had a great time canyoning in the area. Diego also scheduled a family photo session for us at the hotel which worked out perfectly with our schedule.

Next, we moved on to Monteverde where we stayed at the Cala Lodge with a deck view of the cloud forest. First, we had a night tour with Olman who located animals and insects that we would never have been able to see without him. From the lodge room deck we saw Toucans and various other wildlife and it was very peaceful. We had a great day there with a hanging bridges tour with Roy and ziplining which the whole family enjoyed.

Finally, we went to Manuel Antonio and stayed at the Gardens Espadilla Hotel. The first day we went with our guide Gilberto horseback riding who really knew his stuff as he is very experienced in training and handling horses. The horses behaved very well for us inexperienced riders and we were able to swim under a waterfall and had an excellent lunch prepared by the locals. We also went to Manuel Antonio National Park for a day of lounging on the beautiful beach and some hiking to viewpoints, which was located walking distance from the Hotel which was very handy.

All in all, the trip was great and Diego did an excellent job planning everything and providing the information we needed. Highly recommended.

We are seasoned travelers and always plan our own trips. When we decided on a spur of the moment, month-long, post-pandemic trip to Greece we put ourselves in the trusted hands of Tasos. We are so glad we did. We just returned from an amazing 12 day, 4 stop (Athens, Hydra, Crete, and Santorini) trip to Greece and couldn’t be happier with our experience. KimKim put us in touch with a fantastic travel agent named Rebecca who provided us with an itinerary filled with unexpected locations and unique adventures that we never would have found on our own. Whether it was hiking a gorge with breathtaking views, swimming in crystal clear turquoise waters, or sampling delicious local dishes, Rebecca and her team (especially Giannis) ensured we were experiencing the beauty of Greece each day of our trip. We made the decision to travel somewhat spur of the moment due to Covid travel restrictions, so having Rebecca arrange all of the logistics (accommodations, transfers, ferry tickets, covid testing, etc.) was convenient and a huge time saver. For us, this was worth every penny as it allowed us to truly enjoy every second of our vacation. We were also provided a wealth of information about each location which allowed us the freedom to explore each place at our own pace and time frame. As first time users of KimKim, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely use this service again in the future. Additionally, we highly recommend Rebecca and her team of drivers/guides to make your trip to Greece one you’ll never forget.

We had a wonderful trip to Morocco! Hakim was our trip planner, and everything was well thought of. The riads were all great, and we had a wonderful time at the Orient Desert Camp. Our driver, Mohammed was especially wonderful, and he took care of all details including getting our COVID test to fly back home. Our guide Said in Fez was extremely knowledgeable and a great person to spend the day with. Overall, highly recommend a visit to Morocco and using the same team we had for our trip!

Our family trip of 2 adults and a 5 year old to Morocco was perfection!!! Sharon has patiently worked with me for over a year to come up with the perfect itinerary that included enough exploration for the adults and plenty of fun activities for our daughter! I could not be more thankful for how smoothly everything went once we arrived and during our entire stay there! Our driver was kind, friendly, informative, knowledgeable always on time, and flexible! He was available to us 24 hours a day! The local guides used by Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures have been amazing, every single one of them and the lodging booked has been exquisite!!! We felt like we were in a fairytale, in addition to being clean and centrally located! We truly felt like royalty, treated in the most reverential way by all those we had encountered and served us, from guides to hotels staff to camel leader. What we learned in the 11 days spent touring this beautiful and mystical country, will stay with us forever, especially the camel trekking in The Sahara, the glamorous camp in the desert, the beautiful blue streets of Chefchaouen, the donkey ride in the medina of Fes and so much more!!! We could not be more grateful to Sharon, Hicham and all those whom Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures contracted to make our experience perfect!! They were all dedicated to our comfort, kind and helpful!!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! We cannot wait to take more trips with you!!!

Adriana organized an extraordinary tour of Costa Rica for my mother and me. Not only were our hopes for the trip surpassed, but the ease of travel was absolute perfection. We had a relaxing and adventurous time and we will definitely be recommending kimkim to our friends

Dimitris created the perfect trip to Greece! It felt tailor made to my husband and me to the point my husband asked if he’d met us in person before.

We had an amazing guide for the acropolis and the tour while starting early kept us out of the heat and it felt like we had the hill to ourselves.

Naxos is a slice of heaven and Dimitris picked a perfect hotel with the best staff and location, on a beautiful beach but a 7 minutes drive to town. The Food tour was amazing there as was the guide. You could tell the people of Naxos wanted you to love their island like them. It is a place we wouldn’t have found without Dimitris but a place we can’t wait to go back to!

Santorini was awesome and picturesque as imagined. Dimitris picked sci-fi items we loved with great operators that got us off the beaten path which was very appreciated

On top of making the perfect trip Dimitris was in touch the whole trip and helped us make last minute swaps where needed. We’ve taken safari and have not had the attention to detail and active communication to the degree we did with Dimitris and will not be going back to Greece without him!

Antonia is a dedicated, knowledgeable, perfectionist. Of course, because of Covid, we had over a year to plan and really get to know one another, but I would venture to guess she can accurately assess a client's needs in any amount of time. I wanted to experience Croatia from every possible vantage point in a modest time frame, with a relatively meager budget (bucket list anniversary trip). She asked a series of questions and based on my responses, proposed various itineraries.

Over time, we settled on a 9-day adventure, starting in Split, visiting Trogir, Skradin, Hvar, and departing from Dubrovnik. Antonia was unexpectedly able to greet us upon our arrival in Split and was simply a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. The darling goodie bag she presented us was filled with useful, appreciated, thoughtful items. We shared a brief coffee/meal and set out to enjoy an exquisite city. Our hotel was perfectly located inside the walls of Diocletian's Palace and central to everything.

Each day, sometimes multiple times a day, she would check in via WhatsApp, but she was also communicating with drivers (multiple personalized tour guides, private transfers) and hotel operators to ensure we were properly cared for and had our tickets for various excursions.

Clearly, the team with which she works are deeply committed to client experience. Every guide, driver and hotel seemed customized to our eclectic tastes. We wanted eco-tourism, hikes, deeply local (non-touristy) experiences, heritage hotels, but also a couple days of luxury. We requested history, archeology, wine tours, beaches, nightlife, and hiking. That's not an easy order...on a budget...but she over-delivered. Over and over again.

I have recommended her to everyone I know planning a trip to Croatia and will use her again as soon as we can. Spectacular!

I have visited more than 40 different countries and this was easily one of my favorite vacations of all time! We visited Albania, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, and Montenegro through the company Drive Albania. These countries were wonderful and should be seen by all!

My friend and I were supposed to travel in 2020, but Covid canceled our flights so we postponed for 2021. Ed gave us constant updates through all the covid related issues and planed everything during a very turbulent time. He answered all of my questions promptly (even if I asked multiple times). He adjusted the itinerary based on our new flights and even arrange for two additional friends to join half way through our tour making us a group of four. Ed personally picked everyone up from the airport (on three separate flights on three different days) and drove for hours to ensure the group was fully united! We had the pleasure of touring with Ed for a few days, and Ardi for the majority of our vacation. They were both knowledgeable, professional, made wonderful food suggestions and were delightful company! Our tour was so thoroughly planned and went so smoothly, that our group began to joke that Drive Albania was controlling everything including the weather! We had a unique tour group with two people who frequently vacation together; later joined by two less experienced travelers. Ardi was quick to assess everyone’s needs and resolved any potential issues (caused by us) so seamlessly, one would hardly know that anything was out of sorts.

Traveling with Ardi and Ed felt more like visiting with friends than traveling with a tour company. They ate with us, joked with us, and even joined our group selfie photos.

I am typically an anxious person, but on this trip, I was completely at ease! I can’t remember the last time I went on such a stress-free trip, and I know it was due to the thorough planning and good decisions of Ardi and Ed. I will definitely return to the Balkans, and travel with Drive Albania when I do!

The hotels Maria selected were ideal locations within close proximity to stunning beaches. We loved Naxos and can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful experience and will always use Kim Kim in the future. We just returned from our trip and I’ve already recommended them to a friend who is traveling in September.

We used kimkim to book our first trip to Greece and we just returned from a fantastic 10 day, 3-stop vacation which included Santorini, Naxos and Athens. All the hotel selections superbly matched our interests, the tours were great, and the complex transfers went off without a hitch (airplane, airport, ferries, tours, etc.). The tour and food recommendations were amazing, and our personal tour guide, Harris B., did a fantastic job! Harris even met us and walked us to dinner in Athens on our last evening...who does that? We did and saw things that would be virtually impossible without the help of a local guide. We highly recommend kimkim and will use their services on future bookings!

Tasos and his crew provided a wonder adventure for us in Greece. Due to Covid restrictions and concerns our trip was put off for over a year. Also due to the same concerns we upgraded our trip to basically a private tour. We were provided the same private driver for every trip while in Athens. He was timely, provided a clean neat car, had excellent English and was able to provide information on everything we asked. Our first days of our trip we stayed at Sweet Home Hotel. A very small, clean and comfortable hotel in walking distance to many things. This is a family ran establishment. Aphrodite was our hostess. She made sure we were comfortable all day every day. She and her mother provided a home cooked breakfast to order everyday. One day we even met her husband as he filled in. On our first night we had a complimentary dinner at The Ergon. What a wonderful roof top restaurant to get a taste of wonderful Greek food. The sunset view of the Acropolis Hill and Parthenon from this roof top was gorgeous. Our Private tour of the Acropolis, temple of Arthena Nike, Erextheion, and Parthenon provided a lot of history and myths. We also visited the markets, Psiri and Monastiraki neighborhoods. Add to all the history a taste of Greece and you know you have had a good day. Our location was wonderful for us to walk to several neighborhoods and get the feel of "small town" Athens. Our same driver delivered us to Kalabaka to see the UNESCO site of Meteora. We stayed at Monastiri which was a short walk to the bussel of the city. Chris was our local driver and tour guide. Chris was born and raised in Kalabaka and was able to provide a lot of information. The rock formations and Monasteries is a site you do not want to miss when visiting Greece. Then we were off to Thessaloniki. This city has so much history. Our hotel was a block from the water front in walking distance to all of Old Town. We did not get to take in all the sites because of Covid restrictions. However our guide was able to provide a lot of history. We made a morning trip to Vergina to see the UNESCO site of the royal tomb of King Philip 11, father to Alexander the Great. His tomb was found untouched. What a unique and wonderful find. Our 3rd day we had Christina as a guide on a Food and history tour. Christina was very refreshing with a lot of information. My favorite part of her tour was the coffee shop in the old Turkish baths. It was in the center of old town and from the top you had a beautiful view of old town. Due to an issue with a canceled flight from Delta Airlines we had an "emergency". With the help of the evening clerk at City Hotel and the wonderful replanning by Tasos we had an excellent one day extension to our trip and was able to stay in another neighborhood of Athens on the water. What could have been a disaster was actually turned into another adventure in Greece. I would highly recommend KimKim and their sister company in Greece travel12.

Maria, Tasos and Dimitris of Travel 12 did a fantastic job finding interesting activities for my family and taking care of all travel logistics. Maria recommended activities that appealed to both adults and the kids. We enjoyed the cultural experience of visiting the Acropolis, Meteora and Epidaurus, as well as doing active things like hiking the Imbros Gorge, sea kayaking, sea fishing and doing a Triple Bath of Peloponnese day trip. The cooking class at the Crete Botanical gardens was also a hit.
Everything was fun and educational and allowed us to see different sides of Greece outside of the typical tourist postcard experience.
The team took care of all the travel logistics including inter-island transfers, tickets and tours. They reacted quickly to an unexpected railroad strike and booked us a bus transfer to avoid missing a day of our schedule. It was great for us not to worry about being stuck, and not miss valuable time. We loved our trip to Greece and are grateful to Travel 12 for making it so smooth and interesting!

Our family travels often and this is the first time that our children (teenager and young adults) unanimously declared that this is the best trip.
Olman was extraordinary from the beginning - he was patient, answered all questions and tailored our trip perfectly to meet our need. From the time we landed in San Jose to our departure gate, all the details, small or big, were flawlessly executed , from transfer to our 4 different destinations to the hotels, to automatically upgrading us to get a private guide (Manny) and a great driver (Leo) and arranging for our Covid test to be done at the hotel bypassing need to travel to clinic (all above and beyond our expectation).
Our favorite was the cloud forest zip line! And of course the warm hospitality of Costa Ricans welcoming tourists back. I am already thinking about for our next trip and definitely using kimkim

Our trip to Iceland with the expertise of Kimkim's personnel (Preeti and Michele ) was phenomenal. They worked with us in design, and were able to accommodate changes in plans per our request, i.e. volcano, extra days, etc. Very few 'surprises' during the trip. Vouchers worked well, car rental, nice hotels, etc. It was a trip we will never forget. All the more following a pandemic. As soon as the border opened, Michele let us know so we could resume trip planning. Thank you Preeti and Michele for an incredible journey! Most memorable were the volcano (which we hiked to), glacier lagoon, and whale watching (Husavik). 'Takk, takk'.

What an amazing experience we had on our vacation. This could not have been done without the help of KimKim (Olman, our specialist). We had a family of 5 and 3 of them being teenagers. Our excursions and transfers all booked for us made our trip very relaxing not to have to worry about anything. The guides chosen by Olman could not have been better. Hotel Arenal Springs and Resort is amazing. The staff is there for your every need. Highly recommend staying there. Hotel LaMariposa has what I would say the best view in Costa Rica. The rooms are minimal but the staff and view make up for that. I highly recommend using KimKim for a family vacation.

Would highly recommend traveling to the beautiful country of Ecuador. The country is welcoming and beautiful, and the people are even more so. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire trip. Our local specialist, Mathias, took care of all the planning/bookings. The local people, drivers, and guides could not be more genuine lovely people.

We visited the Amazon for 4 days, Quito for 2 days, and the Galapagos for 5 days. It felt like the perfect amount of time in each location, the only downside was the amount of travel time between locations. I would absolutely recommend visiting Ecuador, and all it has to offer.
