Norway is indescribable. The amazing scenery and abundance of natural beauty were stunning. Our trip included travel by rail, auto, ship, public transport, and of course walking and hiking. Along the way, we sampled the abundance of food and drink that Norway offers. The midnight sun kept us up longer than we're used to but gave us opportunities to experience the scenery at any time of day. There were a few glitches and Sonia was ready and available to help with an unanticipated schedule change or a missed ferry ride.

I would love to return in the dark light of winter and experience a whole different side of this wonderful place.

My partner just finished 12 years of medical training,
and this trip was to celebrate his amazing accomplishment. I wanted it to be special.

We went to Iceland for the first time and decided to use KimKim to alleviate some travel stress. Terry created a detailed itinerary, respected our budget, and crafted a well-organized and efficient trip plan that considered our likes and dislikes for activities, hotels, and even restaurants!

Terry's notes on our itinerary, such as suggested places to make dinner reservations, were so helpful. We are both vegetarian, and a few weeks before the trip, Terry sent us a list of vegan/vegetarian restaurants in each location, which was very considerate.

All the details, the communication, and the accommodations were excellent. We are so happy with the trip.

It was a very smooth trip, and because of Terry, we focused on just having fun. No stress. We will definitely use kimkim again!

My family enjoyed every aspect of our trip to Croatia. We loved all the places we visited; each place gave us a fuller appreciation of the country and the diversity across regions. Nikola was an absolute pleasure to work with, and he planned a trip that was a perfect fit to our interests and temperament. He was very responsive to our requests in planning the trip. The itinerary he provided was very detailed, and we never had to second guess where we were going or how to get there. All of our connections and tours went to plan and were extremely well orchestrated. During the trip, Nikola checked in with us daily to make sure things were going well, and he even gave us a surprise visit early in the trip. It was great to meet him in person! He made himself available at all hours and was extremely responsive. He helped negotiate a minor issue when the car we hired was a bit too small for us. And, Nikola went above and beyond to arrange vegan and allergy-free breakfasts for my son at each hotel . We could not have been more pleased with his level of service, attention, and creativity.

All of our walking tours were very good, but we especially enjoyed the ones in Split and Dubrovnik as our guides were very entertaining. The biking and food tour in Korcula was a highlight of the trip. We really enjoyed visiting family farms and orchards and tasting their products and even brought several home with us. Our guide was very fun and adaptable. Highly recommend! We loved all of the boutique hotels; they were well appointed and ideally located to walking the city or town. The Manda Heritage Hotel, La Grisla, and Hotel Camera went out of their way to create vegan breakfasts for my son. They were better than we could have expected - oftentimes, he only gets bread and jam, but each of them either made him special dishes or purchased vegan yogurts or "meats" for him. The Hotel Camera also left us special treats in our room the two nights we were there - it was such a special touch. Hotel Korsal was beautiful, close to Old Town and had a stunning view. We enjoyed many breaks on their terrance. All of the hotels were kind and accommodating and offered us excellent advice.

This was one of our best family trips ever. We highly recommend working with Nikola for anyone wanting to visit Croatia.

Stunning views overlooking the water and a fantastic location. The hotel is located only a few minute's walk to the Old Town. It has its own lovely restaurant and there are several others nearby. The hotel staff are very attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and airy and very comfortable. The outdoor space is a plus; we enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking the water between touring and beach visits.

It was an amazing experience to stay at this charming hotel in an ideal location near to the old town, but in an uncongested and quiet area. It is family run and very personable. The family room was charming and spacious for a family of four. The breakfast went above and beyond to accommodate our son's dietary restrictions. They staff was beyond kind and helpful. And, the nicest touch of all were surprise flowers on our arrival and a surprise fruit tray on our second day of touring. What an amazingly lovely hotel!

Lovely hotel in a location convenient to many of the most interesting towns in Istria. The rooms were very attractive, comfortable, and clean, with new furnishings. The restaurant was also nice, with an attractive outdoor courtyard that was lovely in both the mornings for breakfast and evenings for dinner. The hotel/restaurant and wait staff went out of their way to accommodate my son's dietary restrictions, often cooking him special meals. The desk staff were also helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic personalized tour. This was one of the highlights of our trip. We very much enjoyed visiting the family farms and wineries, hearing their stories, and enjoying tastes of food and drink. We enjoyed the stunning views of the Korcula countryside. Our guide was fun, well connected and well informed of the region. The bike ride was relaxing, with only a few hills for healthy challenge! Our guide was also very flexible and accommodating when one of our family member was not feeling well and needed to end early. Highly recommend!

We had the great good fortune to work with Daniel Larrea over the course of two years as we navigated COVID to plan our Rediscovery of Ecuador. Daniel arranged the first leg of our visit to the Galápagos Islands on the beautiful Galapagos Legend. The ship was most comfortable; the crew paid great attention to the many needs of their guests; and the guides/naturalists were knowledgeable and great fun. The second leg of our journey was intended to revisit Quito and surrounding areas and to reconnect with family. While we were not able to follow much of our originally planned itinerary due to social unrest and changing circumstances, we knew we were in great hands with Daniel who was concerned for our safety and in regular touch, keeping us apprised of a very fluid situation. Our driver/guide, Christian Chalcualan, provided safe passage to a number of alternative destinations and exhibited great knowledge of the culture and country. We particularly enjoyed the Guayasamin Museum, the cable car ride to Teleferico, and a visit to beautiful Papallacta with its hot springs and hiking. We also very much enjoyed our stay at La Palma Polo Club in the bucolic setting of Puembo. We would highly recommend Daniel for his personal touch, attention to detail, knowledge and love of Ecuador. Words cannot possibly express how grateful we are to Daniel with whom we look forward to planning our return trip!!

So many good and positive things to say about this excellent trip to Costa Rica. Working with Randall on our itinerary and all other planning details was very easy, straight-forward, informative and FUN. We had some issues getting there and with our luggage via the airlines, no fault of Kim Kim whatsoever, but once we arrived at the San Jose airport it was smooth sailing all the way.

Our trip ran like clockwork with all Tour companies being at the right place at the right time to pick us up or drop us off for planned excursions & airport transfers. Very impressive! Everyone was so kind and helpful every step along the way. It was "Pura Vida", which I learned means so many things.

The excursions were amazing and exceeded our expectations. The lodgings were outstanding, our favorite is the Arenal Manoa with a fantastic view of the volcano right outside our floor to ceiling windows. Highly recommend this place as the whole site is filled with beauty everywhere you look, the staff is very nice and helpful, as well as patient with my "Spanglish" conversations. Just a short taxi ride away is the EkoThermales Hot Springs - a must see and do experience after morning excursions. And Manuel Antonio Park...WOW!...another superb lodging with view and excursions.

I could go on and on about this trip but the one thing everyone should know: Costa Rica is absolutely beautiful and should be on your list of places to visit. Highly recommend working with KimKim Travel as they have all the hooks in place for a safe, well-planned, flawless connections trip. I will work with them again in the future and hopefully with Randall - he was the best!

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Andrea for planning this wonderful trip for my husband & I. We had been talking about going to Italy for years. Andrea planned everything that I asked for. All of the tours that he planned for us were first class. The tour guides were so knowledgeable and we learned so much. The private cars that Andrea provided for us were all luxury cars and the drivers were are very helpful and gave us useful tips. The hotels were very nice and one even gave us a free upgrade. Amazing trip!
Iceland is a magical place full of kind people, great food, and incredible landscapes. We will come back some day is there is still so much to see and do. Thanks to kimkim for their services.

Terry was terrific -- responsive, kept us up to date on possible changes with respect to covid tests, advised us correctly about driving too much, etc. I would like her to plan every trip for us. The maps and instructions were first rate. I mean we are talking about really being on top of every detail over which she had control.
There is one problem. Terry seems to arrange everything and somewhere along the line the people in Iceland get involved. The hotel choices on that end were great in some cases and not as great in others. Whoever arranged for our car did so with an agency that was closed when we arrived. There was a kiosk that you could use but somehow it did not work for us. Consequently, we spend a couple of cold hours after a long flight dealing with the problem. Eventually, we took an expensive taxi ride to the first hotel and came back -- another expensive taxi ride -- in the morning to get the car, We were told to keep the receipts and we would be reimbursed but we are waiting for instructions on how to make this happen.

My family (my husband and two teenage kids) cannot express properly in words how fabulous our trip was to Croatia. Antonia was beyond incredible! I started working with her in 2019 to plan an “off the beaten path” trip and of course that never happened because of Covid. We rebooked for this summer (June 2022), and this was a trip of a lifetime! Initially, my family was a little skeptical about some of the activities we had planned with Croatian locals and families, but EVERYTHING was amazing and SO MUCH FUN!!!! We learned so much firsthand from locals about the heritage, culture, and history of this amazing country. Every single detail was flawless and as planned in her itinerary and all the people we met were lovely. Having the itinerary and Antonia (who made herself available 24/7) made this an absolutely no stress vacation. We have definitely made Croatian friends for life that we will continue to keep in touch with. It was heartwarming to meet people that have so much love to spread, and who are genuinely passionate about being responsible stewards of our amazing planet! If you’re on the fence about going to Croatia, you’re wasting your time! Schedule you trip! I had two things to schedule for this trip, the flights to and from the USA. Well, I messed up on our return flights and Antonia even handled that for us! SHE IS THE BEST!!!!! We can't wait to go back!

My family was VERY skeptical about this event. Our driver had never been to this village and also wondered what we were doing!!! We said we didn't really know, but trusted Antonia. Well, Branko and Danijela immediately embraced us as if we were family and this event was probably one of the most memorable of our trip. We ate two meals with them, took a tour of their property, learned about thier mission in life and how they are revitalizing their tiny village through art, love and collaboration. WE ALL had SO MUCH FUN doing the pottery and making new friends. We can't wait to get our pottery items we made shipped to us!!!!!

There is far too much to mention here in detail, so I'll summarize by saying that I can't recommend KimKim's services highly enough. It would be next to impossible to name a favorite day or activity, as everything was seamlessly organized and integrated into a perfect, once-in-a-lifetime experience. In short, it was the best introduction to the amazing beauty and culture that Costa Rica has to offer that I can possibly imagine. From hiking to adventurous activities and relaxation beyond any expectation, everything was top notch; locations, hotels, transportation, food, activities, guides, etc. There was nothing left out by our outstanding agent and the guides and drivers along the way, and plenty of room to keep things custom and personalized at every step. If you're considering the trip, don't hesitate another moment!

Kim Kim Team was great. It was very comforting to know that the hotels we were registered at were ready and that if there was ever a problem the Kim Kim Team was readily available. We were so lucky to have NO Rain.....and lots of sun for the whole trip to Ireland. beautiful .....The car rental was a breeze and we are glad you hooked us up with a hybrid so gas wasn't our enemy. Driving on the wrong side of the car and the road....and those skinny roads was part of the charm. All of our hotels/BNB's were lovely. and the ClonTarf Castle was such a fun addition.

Now that we've found KimKim, we won't go it alone again. We had the luxury of enjoying our vacation without a care in the world. Angela ensured we were in good hands from when our plane landed to when we returned to the airport 17 days later. Angela checked in on us and sent us important reminders during our trip, so we never missed a beat. Several times we raised our glasses and said, "Yamas Angela!"
Our trip was well planned. She listened to our needs and gave us multiple options, so we felt in control. Thankfully when we thought we were too tired for an experience and contacted her to bail, she convinced us not to drop it. She was right every time. Here are some of the tours we LOVED:
Food Tour on Milos with our guide Michael. As a native, he had loads to share. He also owns a nightclub, Fiki. When we visited, he treated us like gold. Ask for the Spicy Salad - a drink to remember.
Janos was our guide when we sailed and explored Kimilos Island. We appreciated his relaxed style, and the service plus lunch was five-star.
Private sailing on Milos was a true highlight, thanks to the captain, crew and challenging winds. We sailed to coves and caves you couldn't get to otherwise. The crew brought plenty of wine and songs and played guitar as we sailed into the sunset.
If you go to Naxos, TAKE THE DISTILLERY AND OLIVE TASTING TOUR. Promponas Distillery brings more to the table than you will ever anticipate. Third-generation owner, Katerina, is all heart. Get ready for the good stuff.

We are giving this five stars for location; they are 6 minutes from everything. That was our running joke anyway because we never had far to walk. The neighborhood is delightful. The staff is helpful. There is coffee available in the room. Breakfast is served at 8 am, so if you have early plans, include a stop at the nearby bakery/ coffee shop before you go.

Be patient when the staff tells you to close all the windows and wait 30 minutes for the air to kick on. It works!

An absolute must. It was only two stops but well worth it. Our driver Spyros was funny. Katerina, the owner of the distillery, was a generous host. We could have spent another hour there but had to leave for the Olive Oil Tasting. We could have passed on the Oil Tasting; it was touristy and deserved three stars.

This was a cool reprieve and a lovely day at an incredible secluded beach. If it's any indication of the beauty, there were a number of $M Private Yachts off the coast, but no cruise ships!!!! We love this island, its history, and the very special community that keeps it alive. Janas (sp) was our guide. He was extra laidback and allowed us to guide our own exploration and ask questions. Its a tiny island worth honoring.

Full Day Sailing Tour Around Milos (Catamaran from Adamas)

This was one of the biggest unexpected highlights of our trip. I can't believe we almost canceled it due to the winds. The boat was just the right size for the six of us and the 2 person crew. They sailed with the winds and took us to places only small sailboats could go. The waters were crystal clear. We sailed through caves where the water's turned purple. We found white rock cliffs to jump from into the incredible coves. The food was okay but the drink was plenty. It kills me that I can not remember the name of the fabulous woman who served as shipmate and guide because she also entertained us with song. The captain shared his guitar and let us play while we all say. He played a few beautiful songs and sang with our guide. I am so sorry I can not remember their names. You could not ask for a more memorable Greek sailing tour.

If you go to Milos, you must go on this tour. It's a fantastic way to understand the history of this island and appreciate its history. Yes, I am still referring to a food tour. We cooked fish in the sand, ate fresh goat cheese, and ended with island wine. Our tour guide, Micheal, was the bomb. Request Michael if you can, as he is a local and owns a cocktail and wine bar called Fiki. He's an incredible host, as were all the establishments we visited along our tour.

This was an average tour but might have been better if buildings hadn't been closed or stops missed. Our guide and driver were as interesting as the tour. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center was closed and the mirror pool was not as impressive as the photos. We were not able to get close to Lake Vouliagmeni but did manage to see it from a lookout point. I think we would choose to go there for the day instead of the tour. I don't remember "Enjoy a selection of meze (Greek tapas) and a drink at a seaside tavern" but we did get a fabulous recommendation for one in the city. The sunset was pretty at the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion. Our guide new where to take the money shot.

Preeti arranged a fabulous itinerary for our trip to Iceland. We loved the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, the Jokulsarlon amphibian boat ride in the spectacular glacial lagoon fed by the Breidamerkurjokull glacier, our walk on black sands of the Breidamerkursandur (Diamond Beach), our ferry excursion to the Westman Islands, where we enjoyed an exhilarating rib ride around the island to caves and puffin colonies, the amazing Elhraun moss covered lava fields dating from the might Laki eruption in 1783-1784, and walking the streets of enchanting Reykjavik including our stay at the upscale Hotel Borg.

We just had a wonderful family vacation in Vietnam. Thanks to Nhung who was super helpful in planning our vacation right from the very beginning. She has been friendly, responsive and very professional through all our interactions. Everything was perfectly arranged at Vietnam from our guides and local travel, right down to our pretty stringent dietary needs. Nhung also checked in on us periodically throughout the vacation which was so thoughtful and nice of her to do.

Our local guides - Mr. Loan, Mr. An and Mr. Phong were all phenomenal. Knowledgeable, friendly, caring and professional. We loved learning about the history and culture of the Vietnamese people through our guides. They also made our trip memorable by providing the right mix of touristy and off the beaten path experiences which included hiking and biking through villages, meeting people, eating local food etc. Vietnam has such a rich culture and heritage. And the Vietnamese are most friendly and welcoming. Thank you Nhung and kimkim for a fantastic vacation.

Christos Gravas, was our wonderful Travel Advisor. From the very outset in planning, he considered our desires for islands to visit, type of accommodations, and interest in side ventures.
Chris was kind, personable, and extremely helpful to us while we took our trip. He was immediately responsive by text or phone with any questions or concerns we had along the way.
Chris was very friendly and welcoming upon our arrival the first day. He had sent us a detailed itinerary for each day of our trip. We received ferry tickets for three different days when we arrived. Chris was also quite helpful in sending our final hotel a link in order to print a hard copy of our airline boarding passes. He arranged drivers to be ready and waiting to transport us to and from each activity and hotel. Each driver was punctual, polite, friendly, and helpful with luggage and knowledge of the area.
Each hotel Chris booked was luxurious and central to interesting sights, beaches, restaurants, and shops. The breakfasts each morning were sumptuous with a lovely, delicious variety of offerings.
We loved the opulent double room with sea front view at Saint Andrea Paros Seaside Resort. The porch was relaxing, the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more hospitable. The huge pool was beautiful!
Cyano Suites Premium Suite with Sea View was absolutely decadent! Two bathrooms and a huge space, also with a lovely porch, overlooking the Temple of Apollo. It was within easy walking distance to The Old Market district and stunningly beautiful beaches. The amazing homemade baked goods and frittatas, fruit yogurts and variety of coffee choices started the day on such a positive note!
We loved our Executive Room Caldera View at Agali House in Santorini. The private patio overlooking the Caldera was stunning. The pool here was a welcome relief from heat. We got our exercise in with the many stairs between the walking path of Firostefani and our hotel door. The hotel was midway between Fira and Imerviglio, so we had an opportunity to hike to both locations. So very scenic!
Katerina, a lovely, knowledgeable and friendly food guide, took us on a fantastic four hour food and drink tour through the Plaka area of Athens! Such fun, and an opportunity to be introduced to the traditional foods, drinks, and snacks that make Greece such an amazing place to visit!
The authentic Greek cooking class and tasting at Anezina Villages in Paros was a fantastic, memorable experience, and not to be missed! The instructor was a lot of fun with a great sense of humor, and tasty recipes. We can’t wait to try them at home.
The Traditional Village and Family Home Cooking in a quaint inland village in Paros was intimate and lovely! The mother/ daughter hosts were warm and very sweet and the meal was great!
We enjoyed our tour of the Moraitis Winery in Paros. We learned a lot about the production and process of Greek wine making. The guide and sommelier taught us so much!
The Santorini Wine Tour was absolutely fabulous, and must be included in your itinerary if visiting this island. Hercules was so entertaining, fun, and quite knowledgeable. The three wineries were great, particularly the last overlooking the Caldera. What a wonderful experience!
The piece de resistance on our final night in Santorini on The Sunset Oia Catamaran cruise was phenomenal! The Delos Boat with three crew was memorable, entertaining and so enjoyable! The native Greek,Alice, was a remarkable cook and created a luscious dinner onboard enjoyed by all.

Beatriz was very flexible and accommodating with the numerous changes to the itinerary. She was also very prompt and responsive to all our questions and needs. Beatriz also had many wonderful restaurant recommendations and things of interest to do while visiting the various cities.

Luis worked with us extensively to craft a trip that met our unique needs – in terms of the cities we wanted to visit, the activities & sites we wanted to see, and modes of transportation. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process, and and while we were in Spain, he called us several times to check in, and was there if we had any questions at all! On the itinerary itself, we certainly were able to have the local experience – both the sites we saw, and the guides that Luis connected us with. A lot of the tours were private which was great, though the group ones were always with a lovely crowd. The quality of the tours / guides sometimes was better than others, and for non-Spanish speakers I think language barrier was a challenge sometimes, but nevertheless we had a great experience on all. One thing to note is that when booking, an itemized price breakdown is not available for hotels, activities, etc – but Luis will work with you to make sure the trip is within your budget. Overall, I would absolutely recommend using Luis and Hidden in Spain for any future travels – his thoughtful touches certainly made for an unforgettable experience!

Nick, our tour guide, did a fantastic job showing us his beautiful country. At our request, this was a personalized tour with some new destinations which sometimes presented challenges. Nick was always able to handle well any unexpected circumstances. The ride in the tour bus was at times a bit rough, but that is to be expected when traveling some not so good roads in a four wheel drive vehicle. The food was excellent, specially the salads and local ice cream. The pace of the trip was perfect for two retired couples and Nick was ready to assist with any question or necessity. Great experience. Thank You.
