The location is fantastic. Easy to walk around town and get picked up by tour companies. A bit noisy with guest leaving rooms. simple accommodations.

The hotel is peaceful and clean. Wonderful artisan craftsmanship adorn the space. Hours of love and care have built this hotel.

A fantastic hotel. great location above the fray of the city with views of the harbor. The owners are super kind and accommodating to customers. (thanks for the Birthday breakfast with soundtrack!) The public space and outdoor area is clean and relaxing, which is nice after a day on the streets in town. The local is food is good if you want to stay in for a meal.

The hotel is located in a good part town that is easy to access from Airport. Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are very accommodating and the luggage storage room fit our ski bags and was easy to access when needed. The rooms vary in size. The pool room is relaxing.

Our driver was excellent. He was kind and understanding as emotions were overflowing while seeing the Andes mountain range up close for the first time. Which in itself was a remarkable experience. With safety in mind, he delivered us in a timely manner. 80's pop sing along a bonus.

a fun filled day customized to meet our needs. We were able to surf the sand dunes ( "maybe we can ski it" ) and go swimming after a food feast of fresh local fish. When your guide (Angel) really listens and gets to know his guests, magic happens. We had so much fun and laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes.

A great tour with Angel, our local guide from Responsible Travel. We hit the best empanada spot, met the owners and got to know about local spices, before heading to the markets for shopping. Drank traditional Mote con huesillo and the Pisco Sours. Enjoyed dishes showcasing the variety of fresh regional seafood. Finished the day with a sunset picnic in a secluded park overlooking the city. A magical day and a great way to spend a day in Santiago. Our guide was knowledgeable about regional dishes and local restaurants. Came prepared to escort us through the busy market stalls and answer all of our questions.

I would classify this hotel among the best that I have ever stayed in. We loved our stay here! The room was beautiful, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and could be enjoyed on the expansive patio. We took advantage of the bikes available for rent and would highly recommend this to other travelers! The location is steps away from the train station and Tivoli, but a bit far from the main areas of the city. The spa is nice, maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but was truly lovely after a day biking around the city. We loved this hotel and will definitely return on our next visit to Copenhagen.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Scandic 53. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was kind. The breakfast options were expansive and beyond the typical - we really enjoyed these meals! The room was on the smaller side and overlooked a noisy alleyway - travelers should bring ear plugs or a white noise machine, just in case. We were also frustrated because we believed that this hotel offered self-service laundry (as found on one of their review pages). Upon arrival, we learned that the only laundry facilities were for the hotel's service - which was far more expensive than we wanted to pay.

This hotel is lovely and modern, located just a short walk from the train station. The front desk staff upgraded our room, which was a lovely and much appreciated surprise. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a mini fridge, sitting area, and plenty of space for our bags. The breakfast was a step above a typical hotel breakfast. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

This hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the fjord and a quick walk from the main area of Flam. It provided a lovely venue for relaxation among nature, with a pleasant porch and chairs/tables on the lawn. We enjoyed our meals (breakfast and dinner) and appreciated the option to pack a lunch for hikes. The staff was pleasant. Self-service laundry is available for guests at a neighboring hotel, which is nice to have. Rooms were on the smaller side and we would've preferred a full or queen instead of two separate twin beds. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.

Absolutely loved this tour! It was such a wonderful introduction to Copenhagen and Danish cuisine. A wonderful mix of history, culture, and food. It was so much fun to bike around the city and see the sites. The bikes were very well maintained. What made this tour stand out was our guide, Kuba. He was friendly, knowledgable, and fun - a great personality and an exceptional tour guide. There are a lot of bike tour companies, especially in Copenhagen, so having a great guide is crucial for standing out. We appreciated our experience with him and recommend this tour highly!

In general, we enjoyed this experience. The tastings were diverse and well-portioned and offered a well rounded view of Swedish cuisine. We particularly loved Östermalms Food Hall and the opportunity to try some Swedish wild game. This would've been a five-star experience had we had a different guide. We felt like he did the bare minimum, making no effort to engage our group and fielding questions with a negative, condescending attitude. It did not go unnoticed that he was the only tour guide that we met through the entirety of our trip who directly requested a tip from guests, putting everyone in an awkward and uncomfortable situation.

We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Gustav, was extremely professional and knowledgable. The cheese tasting was a lovely treat and really made this tour exceptional! I would've like to hang out at the restaurant a bit longer, but our tour ran over on time. All in all, this was a fantastic experience.

One of our favorite experiences of our trip to Norway! A must-do experience.

The floating sauna was both relaxing and fun. We enjoyed gazing at the beautiful view from the warm comfort of the sauna, then taking the dip into the fjord! We were impressed by the quality of the sauna facilities. Daring jumpers can leap from the sauna's roof, while others can gently dip from the trap door in the hot room. This was a luxurious and unique experience.

This was a wonderful way for us to begin our trip to Bergen! Our guide, Frida, was fantastic - friendly, thoughtful, and a wonderful storyteller. This tour was a great education into Bergen's history and a lovely introduction to Norway's cuisine. Travelers should add this tour to their itineraries!

Wonderful place for a quick overnight stay before we left Athens to fly home.

The Galaxy was very pleasant and comfortable.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was friendly and helpful, the accommodations were perfect, and the common areas for sitting and breakfast were very pleasant.

We had another fantastic guide who took us to four villages, lunch at an excellent restaurant, and then a beach where we waded and enjoyed the scenery for half an hour. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting, especially since he is somehow connected to the governing body of Naxos and was therefore able to give us details on many of the political aspects of life there. It was an outstanding tour!

It was nice to have reserved seats in first class. It is a short, easy ride between Naxos and Paros.

No problems with the ground transfers. Drivers were waiting with a sign and were easy to find.

This was a wonderful evening! The weather was perfect and the water extremely calm. The two crew members, while not overly friendly, were attentive and competent. We were served white wine (no red on the boats apparently), delicious sliced bananas with honey and cinnamon drizzzled over them, and some small bread slices with tomates and cucumber. The catarmaran itself was very comfortable. We sat on the front in comfortable padded seats leaning against the window. In the bay overlooking the Portara (the Temple of Apollo), the island’s emblem and main landmark, we anchored and watched a beautiful sunset. A very nice experience.

Two of us went on this excursion to a farm and a cooking class. The drive up to the farmhouse was very pretty. Maria was the chef. When we arrived we were sitted at the kitchen table and offered zucchnini pancakes, cheese, spinach pie and a homemade brew made by Maria's husband. By the time we finished snacking, we were totally satisfied. At that point, Maria presented us with aprons, and we began our lesson. We helped make some meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, sliced potatoes which Maria's husband cooked, and mashed still more potatoes. Maria then dished up large portions in spite of our pleas to make them small. The plates consisted of the meatballs and sauce, delicious fried potatoes wedges and mashed potatoes. We managed to eat some but not all. It was way too much food.

Gina, our tour guide, was delightful! We drove through the countryside, stopping first at a honey tasting place in the mountains with different honeys and teas and a delicious "lentern pie." This was followed by a visit to a Kouros, a statute made of marble, that had been abandoned after it was obviously dropped on the way down the mountain. The next stop was in a town largely made of marble where we had a scrumptious lunch served with wine (included). The setting was idyllic! Then there was a Kipton tasting at an old house, now a museum. Our driver then drove us through the countryside and villages back to the Galaxy Hotel. A wonderful tour!

Fantantic tour! Our guide Leo was a native Athenian who met us in the lobby of the Ava Hotel. He was a fascinating narrator of the history of Greece as we walked through the city. In Plakia, where the Ava is located, Leo also explained the meal customs of most Greeks who eat a very light breakfast early before leaving for work but who then have a substantial snack around 10 am. Ours consisted of some famous spinach pie (spankopita) and some cheese pie. From there we stopped at a baklava shop where we each had a piece of the best baklava ever. We reached Parliament Square where Leo explained why the guards were attired the way they were, and we witnessed the changing of the guards. From there we walked through an upscale area, and then visited the "Athenian Trilogy," three beautiful buildings completed in the 1890s. Next was a visit to an olive oil shop where we learned about the various flavors and acidity levels. Our last stop was at a tavera where Leo ordered numerous delicious dishes for us to sample. It was the best we'd had so far. We walked back to the Ava through the market and old town. The five or so hours were well spent.

The gathering point was extremely convenient since were were staying in the Ava Hotel. It was right at the end of the street at Hadrian's Gate. All the participants were divided into groups of about 12 and assigned a guide. Our guide Magda was extremely knowledgeable about the Greek gods, the myths surrounding them and their various relationships with each other and humans. She was funny, entertaining and personable. We visited many sites such as the Acropolis, the Theater of Dionysis and the Sanctuary of Asclepios, along with many others. Madga had tales to share for all of them.She was excellent at explaining the complexities of life in those early times. Quite the historian!

Cassis and the Calanques were great! I also really enjoyed tasting the Cassis wines.

It was a continuation of the previous day with Felipe (Guide) and Philipos (Driver). More fun and great sites.

Probably one of the best tours. What made it so memorable was our tour guide Felipe. He was very informative and so humorous. By the time the tour was over, we were certain we wanted him and our driver Philipos for the following day's tour.

Local cuisine was excellent. Enjoyed the walk throughout the city.

The tour was okay; but there is an additional charge to get to the Poseidon ruins.

Tour guide (Elena) was great. It's a challenging tour if your if you have any physical limitations.

We had a second floor room with a view of one of the two pools and the ocean beyond. The view was lovely although you do see a bit of the rustic road leading in. Go for a second floor or higher room. Beware there are multi-level stairs everywhere and this hotel is on the outskirts of Naxos town. The beach is right across the road though so that’s great and the hotel’s breakfast buffet is generous. Its restaurant is open all day and we lunched there several times as we preferred the pool that’s next to the restaurant. Easy to get into the shallow end and more secluded from cars and traffic noise. Overall this hotel is quiet and we were very glad we were not in the heart of Naxos town.

Excellent location with easy walk to the historic city centre of Cascais. The room was large and we had a large, private balcony overlooking the pool and ocean.

Having a beautiful sea view room with a balcony was wonderful. The room was large and the beds comfortable. The pool and surrounding decks were amazing. Great poolside bar. Easy access to the ocean beach as well. Only complaint would be the dinner buffet. The food was mostly lukewarm and over cooked. We ate at the two other restaurants and this was much better than the buffet.

Centrally located in the old city centre but due to road closures, it was difficult to get around by car. The beds were incredible hard and the pillows non-existant. The restaurant, bar and breakfasts were excellent. The pool and outdoor garden were excellent and nice quiet respite from the business of Evora.

Great hotel in Porto city centre. The rooms were small but well equipped.

Interesting tour of Sandeman's winery. We learned a lot about Port and had excellent tastings after.

Our boat pilot Marta and her guide were excellent. It was pretty rough but we never where worried because of Marta's skills. Because of the rough water, there was one cave she didn't go into but we appreciated her safety-minded attidtude. The rock faces and scenery were amazing and a must see in the Algarve.

Enjoyable night out. The food was good and the fado singers were very talented.

Two hours in a Tuk Tuk to Belem was painful. Most of the trip is rushing thru traffic to get to Belem and then a quick tour around. Our guide was fine and we were able to stop and get the original Pasties de Nata.

Our guide, Ana was amazing. We learned so much about the history of Lisbon and Porto.

Beautiful winery and a very delicious 3 course meal with wine pairings. The staff were excellent and the views outstanding. After lunch we had a winery tour with 4 tastings of various wines.

Great boat pilot and his guide. They both were very knowledgeable and engaging. What could beat cruising the river on a beautiful day, sipping on some sparkling wine?

The entire day was very good with a boat tour and a winery visit included. However, our driver was late picking us up, said he was feeling under the weather. Later he mentioned that he was a wedding the night before and had little sleep. His driving was erratic and he again was late picking us up at the end of the day. First he blamed a car event taking place in the town and then later said he had been sleeping while we were on the winery tour.

Our guide, Bernado was very knowledgeable about the different architecture and the history of historic Porto. Only issue was that he was very soft spoken and sometimes it was difficult to hear him, especially when in the old train station where there were many other large tours taking place

Our driver Carlos definitely made this trip amazing. Pena Palace was beautiful and well worth it, but there are a lot of tourists making the viewing of the palace slow. The grounds are amazing. Our driver suggested we go to the National Palace in the centre of Sintra as it was much more interesting and not as busy. I am glad he suggested it as it was truly excellent. Carlos went out of his way and bought us some local treats of Sintra for the ride.

I would give this hotel a 10 star rating if possible. They make you feel like part of the family. Service was exceptional and the rooms were clean and charming.

The property is new, facilities are excellent. Away from the city but can cycle or private hire.

Beautiful rooms, large in size and central location, on one side there is a river and on other side there is market.

Location is central, breakfast spread is quite large and comfort room size is decent.

They gave our room away before we arrived and I had to sleep on the floor. I was traveling with my daughter and they only provided one bed when we reserved for two.

This turned out to be something that was not personally what my tastes required.
