Co-workers have traveled with KimKim and referred me to give them try. WOW! Francisco hit the spot with all hotels, tours and planning for our trip to Chile. We wanted to visit the country from North to South. Communication was absolutely amazing! 10 Stars! Matito's communication while we were in the Santiago, Valparaiso, Calama and San Pedro de Atacama was excellent. Jose Luis in Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales area was excellent as well. I never wondered if a driver would show up. Never worried that our accommodations were amazing and in great locations. I highly recommend KimKim for your travel planning. It was seamless travel with no worries and the recommended tours were all amazing. Chile is truly an unspoiled beauty and I wouldn't miss any of the regions as they are all so very unique. We will be back KimKim as soon as we select our next journey!

Our last location in Chile. Weskar was beautiful and just off the edge of town. Easily walked to town or 3000 Pesos for an Uber. Our view was incredible and we watched the sunset from our chairs in the room. We dined several times in the restaurant and breakfast was very good. The staff was helpful and considerate in filling water bottles and answering our many questions about the area with detailed maps and information.

What an absolute treasure! So creative with each room uniquely themed. We stayed in The Office! What a beautiful balcony overlooking the town and water. The staff was so friendly! They were wonderful. After a rough sea in the Strait of Magellan and a husband with seasickness, they provided a lounge to get his balance back even though we were checked out. The dining experience was excellent! Highly recommend a dinner here.

Hotel Castillo Rojo was beautifully historic. The old castle and in Bellavista area. We were able to walk to many areas and dining in the neighborhood was great! Our room was beautiful and well appointed, comfortable sleeping, with a chilled sparkling wine to begin our journey. The hotel is very secure and safe. Magdalena Island - Penguin Encounter Half Day Tour

Visiting Magdalena Island for the penguin encounter was a great experience. Although the boat ride back was quite rough, the time spent on the island was magical. Witnessing the penguins during their mating season with their eggs was a special treat. It was well worth the effort.

Torres del Paine National Park - Panoramic Tour

The Torres del Paine tour was overall very enjoyable, although I felt the guide could have communicated more effectively in English. The balance of Spanish to English explanation was a bit off, with lengthy narratives in Spanish and much shorter explanations in English. I felt like I was missing out on some of the experience. Still, I learned quite a bit and appreciated the scenic locations.

Absolute must. Such a special experience and so well orchestrated. Amazing open spit cooked lamb dinner and vino to enjoy after a 2 hour ride to views that are spectacular. Loved the staff and ranchers. The property is beautiful and the remoteness and peacefulness was a perfect last day for our journey to Chile.

Sebastian had only a short time to create an itinerary for our trip and he did an amazing job. Each hotel was unique and comfortable and in a good location. The guides he booked were friendly and knowledgeable and helped us know more about French culture and history. The wine tours gave us new appreciation for French wines and opened a new avenue for us to grow in our knowledge of their unique style.
We believe Sebastian did remarkable work and we look to working with him again on our next journey to France.

Kimkim in general (Erin in particular) were extremely helpful in developing our Argentina Patagonia itinerary. They were very responsive, friendly, and professional. We made LOTS of changes along the way and they were always accommodating.
El Calafate was a good starting point for some glacier excursions. Estancia Cristina was a nice combo including a boat trip across Lake Argentina (some ice bergs along the way), a nice easy hike to view Upsala Glacier, and an unexpectedly good lunch for such a seemingly remote place.
Perito Moreno glacier is almost indescribable, a must see as photos don’t do it justice. Private guide there really is not necessary as the boardwalks are well marked. If I had it to do over, I’d add an excursion ONTO the glacier as we could see people doing.
Laguna de Los tres was our one long hike. This hike requires you to be in decent shape (13-15 miles, steep at end, 9 hr day). You don’t really NEED a guide as the trails are well marked, but I really enjoyed the day with Nicolas from Walk Patagonia. The info he provided on the geology, fauna and flora enriched the experience.
Ushuaia was very interesting to see. Because of arrival times and excursions, we had to squeeze in and rush through the Prison Museum - I would budget more time for that if I could. The trip down the Beagle Channel is a must-do. Piratour is the one company that allows you to land and walk on Martillo Island with the penguins. That was pretty incredible to see.
While Tierra del Fuego national Park was pretty, I must say it paled in comparison to what we had already seen to this point farther north and I’m not sure I would book that again. The “train at the end of the world“ I most definitely would not recommend unless you have small children. It was a slow moving “choo-choo“ that really did not provide much in the way of views, just a very touristy experience with high-pressure sales of photos of yourself. If I did it over, I would’ve used that time to perhaps get farther up into the national park on a hike, get something other than a drive up viewpoint type of experience.
Overall, I was very happy with this itinerary and my experience with KimKim and I plan to use them again with an upcoming anniversary trip with my wife.

I had an amazing experience in my first solo trekking trip to Nepal hiking to Ghorepani Pool Hill. While I definitely need to improve my fitness, I had an amazing service from my host Ngima who along with the guide and portar Lakpa took extremely good care of me, encouraging me every step of the way. For me, it was the journey than the destination that made the trip memorable. Both the guide and Porter were cheerful and happy souls, and I cherish all the wonderful moments I spent with them

I didn't know what to what to expect when I first reached out to KimKim to help plan our Anniversary Trip to Iceland. Within a short while of completing the online questionnaire I was contacted by a local special specialist, Guðmundur (Gummi) Óli, in Iceland. Gummi asked me a series of questions regarding what we were hoping to see while in Iceland. He also allowed me time to ask questions about other sites to see and availability based on the time of year we are visiting. Within a day, I received a draft itinerary and initial pricing, all of which seemed reasonable. I then reached out to Gummi for clarification of exactly what was included, and if we could change some of the proposed items. I don’t know how much time I was saved by the work of Gummi but I guarantee that I would not have been able to put together such a comprehensive itinerary.
Upon arriving in Iceland, everything was as planned. I was also provided detailed digital maps showing my drives for every day from one site to another. I don’t think I would’ve been able to enjoy the trip as much if I had planned it personally and I’m pretty sure I would not have been able to see all of the sites that we were able to see.
We will definitely be using kimkim again for our next travels

The Sky Lagoon Experience was awesome. We had to reschedule the time, and it was done quickly and smoothly thanks to excellent support from Gummy. The experience itself was rejuvenating and a perfect way to unwind towards the end of our trip.

The Silfra Snorkeling Adventure was fantastic. The guide was great, and it's amazing to think that you're snorkeling between two tectonic plates. Although it's understandable that you don't see much marine life, the rocks and underwater views were still captivating. It's a unique experience that you can't get anywhere else.

The Víðgelmir Lava Cave experience was good and something different from the other activities we had planned. It's an interesting way to explore the unique geological features of Iceland. We enjoyed it.

Breiðamerkurjökull Ice Cave Experience

The ice cave experience at Breiðamerkurjökull was really good. It was one of the standout activities on our trip. We wanted to see and do something unique, and this activity certainly delivered. It aligned perfectly with the top activities we wanted to do in Iceland. I'm glad we got this done and it was well worth it.

As always with my trips arranged by KimKim, my recent trip to the Czech Republic was fantastic.
All the arrangements were handled smoothly without any glitches.
The trip itself was spectacular. With 4 full days I feel like I truly was able to experience the Czech Republic to its fullest.
My guide Lenkita was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and accomodating.
She always went out of her way to make sure I was able to enjoy every minute of the tour.
Whether it was the sights or food, I was able to enjoy everything to the fullest.
Over all I truly enjoyed my trip to this wonderful country.

We booked our trip through kimkim, and everything was handled with great professionalism. Our trip was assigned to the local agency Realistic Asia, and they were fantastic. They were always available, keeping us informed about each day’s details and even giving advice for our free days. On short notice, they also helped us arrange extra activities that weren’t originally in the plan — for example, just a day before, they managed to organize a full day of tours, guides, and transportation exactly as we wanted.

The guided tours added so much to the overall experience. The guides were not only knowledgeable about the sites and history but also warm and friendly, sharing personal stories, Vietnamese customs, and modern life. They happily answered all our questions and showed us places we would never have discovered on our own.

Having everything arranged and knowing someone was always there to help or solve any issue made it easy to fully relax and enjoy the trip. We totally recommend kimkim and Realistic Asia!

One piece of advice for future travelers: take the time to really go through the proposed plan. The itinerary is great as is, but you may want to add extra activities or spend more time in certain places (for example, I wished we had more time in Hoi An and Hue instead of Da Nang). Customizing a bit more can make your trip even more special.

Vicky was an excellent planner! Our family of three adults had great accommodations located centrally in each city we visited. Her itinerary was spot on. It was such a treat to have an experienced local person decide on the best tours: Blue Mountain Tour, snorkeling, Opera House, etc.
We absolutely loved having someone meet us at the airports and also bring us to the airports.
We really appreciated Vicky’s recommendations for scenic walks and restaurants. Whenever we were at a loss of what to do next, we’d say “What did Vicky suggest?”

Despite being marketed as easy, it was a physically exhausting experience due to the mountain bike and hard seat for two hours. Although I am almost sixty-one, and active, it was a challenge. I think there should be a clearer disclaimer about the bike type and physical requirements. It wasn't suitable for non-bike enthusiasts.

The Phillip Island Penguin Parade was one of the highlights of the trip. Watching the penguins come in while sitting in the stands was a charming and unique experience, even in the rain. It was an unforgettable opportunity to see them in their natural habitat.

Moore Reef and Fitzroy Island Full Day Tour

The snorkeling at Moore Reef and Fitzroy Island was absolutely the highlight of my trip. It was incredibly fun and beautiful. If I ever visit again, I would plan for at least two days of snorkeling. It was truly a breathtaking experience.

The transport was super comfortable and always safe, and our heads are stuffed with more facts than we could ever hope to remember. Hermant is my phone a friend. Little touches like water and treats for the kids were provided and the hotels treated us impeccably.

There were great (authentic) food recommendations, cultural stops and simply. An awesome time.

Our trip to New Zealand was incredible and memorable. First, the uncontrolled bad. Our trip coincided with a storm of the century. About half of our excursions had to be cancelled due to high winds on the South Island (100 mph). Second, the good. Those things that we were able to do were excellent. Because of the weather difficulty, our specialist Kathrin worked extra hard to rebook and adjust things on the fly. The ability to pivot and do other activities made it such that we were able to have an extraordinary experience.

If you are considering a trip to NZ in the future, give them a call. They will help you put together a great trip and, from our experience, will be there to back you up in case something goes wrong.

Absolutely exceptional experience that truly surpassed anything I had ever hoped and dreamed of. We had an incredible time visiting Chile and experiencing the country. Marcela did a wonderful job accommodating all the things we wanted to do with all the places we wanted to visit. It entailed a lot of moving parts and everything fell into place. Thank you Gaboo for coordinating all the domestic air tickets. The hotels we stayed in were very nice, comfortable and centrally located to restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our driver in Santiago, Eliseo Albornoz, was outstanding. We so much enjoyed talking to him each time he picked us up from the airport and during our time in Santiago. We enjoyed all the activities and the sights at the Atacama desert, Santiago, Patagonia and Rapa Nui! But I leave most impressed with the young men and women who were our guides in San Pedro de Atacama and Patagonia. They guided us in areas of extreme weather conditions, while educating us in all that pertains to the native wildlife, plants, vegetation, and even geology of the region. They maintained a positive attitude and high energy throughout. It was truly a pleasure to learn about Chile through them.

As soon as you walk into the reception area the view from the floor to ceiling window in the bar and restaurant takes your breath away with direct view of a neon blue iceberg floating in the distance and surrounded by nature. Our room was super spacious with a huge picture window facing the water and nature with complete privacy. You can sit and look out the window mesmerized for hours. What an amazing privilege it was to be able to stay in this hotel.

This boutique hotel was our home base during our trip through Chile and we couldn’t be happier with it. It’s in a safe location with shops close by. The interior design of the hotel is very elegant and vibrant. The rooms are spacious with a very comfortable bed and convenient mini-fridge with nice decor. The restaurant has a delicious menu, great drinks and superb service.

The views of Torres del Paine were impressive . The area is beautiful and so well protected. Worth revisiting to continue exploring the sites. Our guide, John, was incredible. He was so warm and friendly it felt like we had been friends of many years.

Boat Trip to Glacier Grey

We visited 3 different areas of the glacier grey all equally beautiful. It was a fun catamaran trip and we took great pictures. We even enjoyed a drink with glacier ice.

The Morning Tour to Orongo was a standout experience. The views of the crater with water were simply spectacular. Having a knowledgeable guide made the visit even more enriching, as they provided deep insights about the area. It was undoubtedly my favorite part of the visit to Easter Island.

Easter Island

Certified Diving in Easter Island was a fantastic experience. Despite not having dived in years, the dive masters took great care of us and later let us dive independently once they were confident in our skills. The only drawback was not knowing to bring a thumb drive for the pictures, which added some inconvenience. Overall, though, the experience was wonderful.

The Tour of Tatio Geysers in Atacama was impressive beyond words. Despite the rugged conditions, our guides were constantly checking on us and ensuring our well-being. Their expertise and stamina under such conditions were commendable. It was an educational and awe-inspiring experience.

Kayaking in Eberhard Fjord

Kayaking in the Eberhard Fjord was truly a highlight of our trip. Our guide Paulo was incredible, helping us with equipment and making sure we were comfortable. The serene location with mountains and snow in the backdrop made the experience unforgettable. After kayaking, being welcomed with tea made the day perfect.

Penguin Colony on Magdalena Island

Visiting the Penguin Colony on Magdalena Island was an amazing experience. The penguins were adorable, and the setting was breathtaking. It was a unique opportunity to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat, and the tour was well-organized.

Hein was wonderful to work with. Hue was flooded & Hoi A was as well. Hein quickly made arrangements for us to go to Denang. She found a a great hotel, guide & Driver.

From the start working with Julia on our ideal trip was flawless. She paid attention to our needs, made suggestions when asked, and was always available to us. Alejandra was also amazing and was able to assist us as things changed at times and she was on top of all of it. This included getting us a private tour at the last minute. Your team and service was top notch and we will surely use you again on future trips and recommend you to friends and family. What a wonderful vacation to Barcelona and we have you all to thank for it.

Entire trip was flawless, great plans, communication and help the entire time. Will definitely be using KimKim again and thankful for an unforgettable family vacation in Mexico.

The trip started out a little bit rocky. We landed early and got through customs early so our transportation to the hotel was not there yet. Due to construction at the airport, it was unclear where to connect with him since he wasn't there when we arrived but once we found him we were whisked off in a beautiful Mercedes S class car to our hotel. Christoff, our driver pointed out some sights along the way. In Munich, we stayed in the Platz Hotel which was very nice and comfortable and offered amazing breakfasts and was well located near Marienplatz and Vktualienmarkt. There was a mix up with the private walking tour and so we just wandered around on our own but the team gave us a good list of things to see and do. The next day was a tour of Dachau with InMunich Tours. That was an excellent tour and our tour guide, Marcin, was so knowledgeable. It was a sobering experience but very important to see. The next day, we rented a car from Avis which went smoothly and drove to Garmisch. What a beautiful drive! The fall foliage was in full bloom! We stayed at the Hotel Zugspitze which was another very nice hotel with a spa, swimming pool, sauna, Michelin restaurant and lovely breakfast. It was well situated in town and had a view of Zugspitze. The cog train and cable car ride were very picturesque although a little scary for me since I have a fear of heights! The view from the top made it all worth it though! The next day we drove through the beautiful countryside to Neuschwanstein. I wish we had known ahead of time about the climb up the hill. It took longer to get up there than we had anticipated. We almost didn't make it to the tour but it was worth the run up the hill! We visited Linderhof Castle the next day and it was beautiful as well! Onward to Salzburg. The train ride was comfortable and uneventful. Our hotel Dorint was an easy walk from the train station and close to the old town of Salzburg. We walked through the old town and took the funicular up to the fortress where we had excellent views of the city. The following day we had a tour with Fritz from Edelweiss Tours to The Lake District and Hallstatt. He was excellent showing us all the sights along the way to Hallstatt and pointing out things we should do while we were there with our free time. The museum there is very interesting. The following day we toured also with Edelweiss but this time, our guide was Shiva. He took us to Durrbeerg Salt Mine, Berchtsgaden and King's Lake. A great tour to learn about salt mining! Then we headed to Salzburg which was a little confusing because we started on a train then transferred to a but for a couple of hours and then back to the train but finally made it to our next hotel The Archibald at the Charles Bridge.
Another well located and comfortable hotel. We had a Prague city tour with Miriam from Insight Cities where she pointed out all the highlights of the Old Town and New Town. She gave restaurant recommendations, told us of tourist traps to avoid and gave us a good explanation of how to tell time with the astronomical clock. The next day we went to the Clementium and Baroque Library. Really interesting but beware, there are A LOT of stairs! We went on a Prague food tour with Klara from Taste of Prague where she took us all around New and Old Town where we tasted local food and drinks as well as some from other parts of the world. Klara was very passionate about food and drinks! We had a driver take us back to Munich because the train tracks were under construction. It was a very pleasant drive with our driver Joseph. For our last leg, we stayed at Hotel Torbrau. Also well located and comfortable! We did a Munich walking tour with Elisabeth of Discover Munich.She did a great job showing us her favorite places and passageways through the Old Town. We had another beautiful S class Mercedes to take us to the airport the next day for our flight home!
