The pre planning was a little bumpy. It took several rounds of explaining and sometimes we felt we were not being understood in our requests. Maybe it was a language barrier or something on my side.
After the few bumps in the road, the execution of the trip was very good. All the guides, drivers, times, hotels were excellent. Both in Egypt and Jordan we had the best time on the ground. Everybody was kind and trying to make us have a great vacation. All the operation was fantastic.
Our guides in Egypt Hesham Nour and Mohammed Kamal were incredible.
Our driver in Jordan, Ali, was also excellent.
All in all a fantastic vacation and a great choice.

Nothing short of an awesome, awesome trip!
Everyone we interacted with was 5 star++. Each individual really ensured that we experienced everything we had on our list, and there was a bonus...each made sure that we had the opportunity to see/do things we hadn't even thought to mention. Special shout outs to: Bassam our entertaining and dedicated driver who took really good care of us during our six day stay; Nad, our extremely knowledgeable guide who so patiently attended to a myriad of questions at Jerash; Basil, who made sure we got the very most out of our day in Petra; Mustafa, who effortlessly managed our bumpy start due to a split arrival; Samir, who pulled the whole trip together with apparent (at least to us) ease.
Highlights of the trip? Oh, there were so many: "Wheel of Fortune" in Arabic on the hotel television; the well-preserved ruins of Jerash; the Citadel overlooking Amman; a traditional Jordanian meal in Amman's bustling city center; the exquisite mosaics and ancient history in the area of Madaba and Mount Nebo; Petra by candlelight; trekking all of Petra by day; the entire Wadi Rum experience (the beauty of the desert, accommodations in "bubbles" and oh...the delicious entrees and preparation); becoming familiar with Bedouin culture; the incredible Dead Sea; the beauty of the region as viewed during our daily drives.
What a truly special - and extraordinary - experience! Deep gratitude to all who made it so!

We had an amazing trip to Costa Rica!! Olman really understood what we were looking from not only with the various excursions he helped us book, but for the hotels we stayed in as well - right up our alley! Olman took care of everything we needed and ensured we had a great experience. The only negative was that I wished the itinerary listed out which tour company was picking us up from the hotel for the excursions so we knew who to look out for and/or call to check in on status

Plan - Yassine was super responsive and developed a plan that worked very well for us. He struck the right balance between being too hectic vs super relaxed, esp for first time visitor. Picked the right places with the ability to go off plan when required.

Place - Morrocco as country was outstanding. In a span of 2 hours the landscape completely changes. Starting with beach/ocean @ casablanca - 2 hours - High Atlas (magical) - 2 hours Ait Ben Hadddo (medieval looking, unimaginable ) - 2 hours Dades Valley (rich green vegetation with breath taking gorges) - 3 hours Merzouga - Sahara!!! - Each experience is different and amazing

Palate - Food, esp, for a vegetarian was fantastic. We went to shack in Ait BenH, the look of the place was very discouraging but the food was amazing. The salad they served there could match most salads offered in facing Parisian restaurants. Orange/Olives were so delicious, you could live on them for the entire trip. I will not forget the harrisa I had in a small restaurant in dades valley - after that I probably will not have the stuff that they peddle as harrisa in the USA.

People - Very courteous and helpful, my wife and kid felt safe even in the remotest of places.

Iddir - He completely transformed the experience, I would give him 10/5 stars. I would specifically ask for him in our next step. He took care of every aspect of the trip. Outstanding!!!

Hassan - Great guide, although we spent about 4 hours with him, he was awesome.

Only one downside - the accommodation on the last day was not great - location, food, service was good. The room didn't have good A/C. I have provided this feedback which they have acknowledged.

Our guides Annahi, Vanessa, Carolina, Julia, and Tatiana were all excellent. The guide at Perito Moreno was OK (this was the day the driver & guide were late). The drivers were all excellent, except the driver from Newberry to Alvear palace (he just kept talking about musicians and bands). Our favorite activities were Victoria Island with the private boat and picnic, just perfect for us, the trek to Laguna Capri, and Estancia Cristina. Overall, the agents were very professional and responsive, and extremely thorough in preparation. In retrospect, we should have chosen later departures for some activities, since the kids liked to sleep late. The hotels were all excellent, with Loi Suites and Alvear Palace standing out. Of course, we loved Patagonia, the glaciers, and Iguazu!

My husband Peter and I made a first time visit to South America for our honeymoon. Not knowing where to go and what to make a must see part of the trip we decided to book our trip through a Travel Agency. We found Kimkim and after reviewing other reviews we decided to go with them. I am so pleased that we did!! Our Travel Agent was Emilce who I believe is from Argentina. She did an amazing job putting together our itinerary with domestic flights, accommodations, and tours/activities. We had a 11day/10night vacation that involved 3 destinations. Emilce was very patient and in consistent communication with us as we made adjustments to our itinerary that better suited the experience that we were wanting during our special celebration trip. She really made the planning experience pleasant by always being quick to answer our questions and make the requested adjustments.
Regarding the travel experience itself: We felt well taken care of: We traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina; Iguazú Falls, Argentina; and Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Each local point of contact was present and in consistent contact prior, during, and at the end of the local destination visit. We felt taken care of specifically by Andrea Z. & Fabio in BA; Lorienna, Junior, and Ernesto in Iguazú Falls and by Oscelea & Marsha in Rio. Our overall trip concierge was Clementina and she made sure that we had all of our trip update information for our domestic flights, Covid requirements and some suggestions for extra thing that we could do in each city. She even helped me to arrange a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. We truly enjoyed our stay in Buenos Aires, Iguazú Falls and Rio de Janiero and believe that this was made possible by the diligent, detail focused and professional skills of all staff of Kimkim and their relationship with the local tourism companies that they work with.
Peter and I have memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and only have great things to say about our experience on our honeymoon.

As non-fluent Spanish speakers the staff were very helpful to us (speaking English). Staff helped up with necessary travel needs (getting Covid tests and getting documents printed to be able to travel). The suite that we stayed in was very clean and well decorated. We were comfortable and relaxed the entire stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient to be able to walk to many wonderful sites. (Recoletta Park, Museums, and restaurants. It is in a great location to be able to walk around and enjoy what Buenos Aires has to offer. Short taxi or public transportation ride away to get to the La Boca and a great city market that has wonderful empanadas and other treats. We definitely look forward to visiting again and will stay at the Recoleta Grand Hotel.

Tips for future travelers

Definitely suggest bringing walking shoes so that you can visit a lot of attractions that are in walking distance with out any discomfort to your feet. I also suggest getting a street facing room as where is more building development so you may not want to have to view that in the rear facing rooms at this time (March 2022).

Loi Suites Iguazú Hotel

We visited Iguazu Falls for the second part of the honeymoon and stayed at the Loi Suites Hotel. The staff were very helpful from check in, through meals services, through check out. As non-fluent Spanish speakers the staff were very helpful to us (speaking English). Staff helped up with necessary travel needs (getting Covid tests and getting documents printed to be able to travel). The suite that we stayed in was very clean and well decorated. We were comfortable and relaxed the entire stay. The hotel is located more in the National Park itself so all of our meals were at the hotel if we weren't out doing a tour for the day. The hotel is surrounded by jungle and is secluded but you still have all the amenities of a 5star hotel. the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Our bed was two beds put together. Only suggestion i would make is if it had a pillow top so that you won't feel the crease between the two beds. Our accommodations included a buffet breakfast and it was really delicious with a variety of selections to choose from. The other meals were either at the Formal restaurant or the pool tiki restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and lounged by the pool most afternoons after each day of touring the Waterfalls: both Argentina and Brazil sides of the falls.

Tips for future travelers

Book a room that may be over looking the river a little more so that you have a better view from your room or one that actually has a veranda that you can sit out on. We had a room that has a tub and shower that are separate. It was nice to soak in a nice bath!

Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana

We visited Rio de Janeiro for the final part of the honeymoon and stayed at the Fairmont Rio de Janiero Copacabana Hotel. The staff were very helpful from check in, through meals services, through check out. As non-Portuguese speakers the staff were very helpful to us (speaking English). Staff helped up with necessary travel needs (getting Covid tests and getting documents printed to be able to travel). The suite that we stayed in was very clean and well decorated. We were comfortable and relaxed the entire stay. The hotel is located at on end o Copacabana Beach and overlooks the water! The hotel is in prime location for restaurants and beach fun. It's location also allows for a short walk to be able to access Ipanema Beach, The hotel has 5star accommodations. We originally booked a city view room, but once we saw what ocean view was we requested to see if we were able to get a ocean view suite. We were able to make an upgrade payment to allow for the ocean view and were so glad we did. The sunrise over the water is spectacular and the view for our balcony allow for that. The staff at the hotel are pleasant, professional and very helpful. The check in process was wonderful, the breakfast buffet was included with our accommodations and was plentiful! We are from the United States (Midwest to be specific) and don't always have the opportunity to try tropical fruits. I had tropical fruits a plenty on this trip! The Fairmont hotel also has some space reserved at the beach that allows for easy access to lounge chairs and beach umbrellas! I can't wait to come back to stay at the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana!

Rio Scenarium is a fun place to visit and dance. You don't have to be the greatest dancer or even know how to do Samba to have a great time. The barbecue dinner was delicious. I really enjoyed the different cuts of meat!

I thought I had reviewed this trip, so sorry! This was a Fabulous trip. Our local specialist, Laurence V. Of Paris tu Jours, scheduled a daily itinerary that was perfection. She asked initial preferences and then crafted a personalized vacation for our group of 4 adults. She lined up our private transportation, train tickets, private tours for each locale. Everything was perfect and we cannot pick a favorite. Our favorite hotel in Paris was Hotel Madame, in the Latin quarter. The staff was so friendly , delicious breakfast each morning. Our goal in coming to France was to visit Normandy, but we loved each experience at Mont St Michelle, and the Loire valley. Hopefully we will be able to return one day and will be sure to contact Laurence Vermillion for planning our trip, Robin Connelley

I cannot thank Randall enough for the amazing itinerary he put together for us. He made suggestions and changes and nothing was too much for him. The trip was incredible and all to plan. Brilliant communication and choice of accommodations.

Faissal, our driver, and Abdellah from Original Travels made my mother and I's first trip to Morocco exceptional. Faissal is friendly, helpful, and well-informed on the different regions in Morocco. We arrived in Casablanca and went to Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Boumalne Dades, Marrakech, and departed from Casablanca. All of the cities were unique and different from one another. They are all must sees. I especially loved having dinner at Said's house. His family is the sweetest and the food is exceptionally good. Faissal is very skilled in driving and we felt very safe in his hands. I have been to several other countries, but Morocco is something unique. On our trip in March, we saw snow and rain in the mountains and sun in the Sahara desert in one day. The people are very welcoming, hospitable, and friendly. The artwork and architecture is gorgeous and totally worth the visit. The hotels we stayed at were clean, and had friendly and helpful staff. Moroccan cuisine and the mint tea is delicious too. The trip being as wonderful as it was is due to having Faissal as our driver. He really went above and beyond to make our trip the best we have ever had. I promise if you book you will not regret visiting the beautiful country of Morocco and having Faissal, the friendliest driver ever!

Of course I have returned from Jordan with memories of an incredible experience. This was wholly due to my companions and attentive and responsive guide, Nader. I enjoyed the experience of the pre-travel planning on the kimkim platform. I appreciated having access to a shared itinerary too.
My recommendations: Nader our guide should and could have been the welcoming agent. The welcome agent was pleasant but unsure the purpose of this introduction. We asked where to eat on our first evening and told to walk in a certain direction to many restaurants. This was not the case. We walked across 6 lanes of traffic to only one offering for food. We didn’t see Amman that evening this was an oversight. The souq the ruins traditional Jordanian women clothing could have been seen.
Once Nader was actioned and arrived at the hotel on day 2, the adventures began.
He is interesting and interested in his clients. He assessed our knowledge and needs throughout the trip, responding with information and experiences that added another layer of value to the trip.
Accommodation: night 1 and 2 fine. Wadi Rum accommodation excellent! Petra hotel was cold and toilet broken. Hotel was very shabby. But staff were responsive and made immediate repairs. Final nights were in a hotel which was cold again no extra bedding on request as staff were at home I believe. Breakfast was outstanding but coffee undrinkable.
Tours: I only want to mention Petra guide. He was very patient and very quiet. More information was shared going around petra sights. We then took pre arranged walk through back door as it was called. This was where problems started and confidence in the group dropped. We traversed around dangerous rocks and mountainside. The guide clearly got lost at times, calling out to a passing bedouin boy for directions. The hike/climb got very dangerous in parts and we ladies had to use our experience to support each other. Three times the guide was asked to slow down and walk at the pace of the slowest. Many times he was asked to keep us updated but he didn’t. Many times we had no internet connection and not able to connect with Nader. Once we could we felt assured that someone was looking out for us.
I want to highly commend Nader individually as a guide, an experienced human who purpose was to deliver a trip to Jordan we will never forget. Nader is solution focused and no request was too much. Please acknowledge him in your organisation as a lead guide. Thank you

We decided to go to Greece a little over a month from our travel dates and we were not sure how to book the trip or where to stay or go. We came across KimKim not knowing anything about it. I filled out the information on the website not knowing what would come from it. My wife and I were amazed at the detail that was sent back to us in less than 24 hours. They assigned a travel agent to us, Angela, and she was extremely detailed and responsive. She was able find places that met our style, budget and preferences.

All of the guides she chose were extremely professional. When we arrived we were immediately impressed with the private driver she arranged who took us straight to our perfect hotel Home Sweet Home. Alternative Athens did an incredible job taking us through the Mythology Tour and bringing it alive. It is a must do in Athens. Meteora Tours showed us the Monasteries in Meteora. With Angela’s great foresight she rented us a car to drive down to Kalamata and the Essence of Messina Guides, Fotis and George and George did an incredible job of bringing the countryside and the sea to life in with our hiking and kayaking trips. They are truly animators and Greek Ambassadors. They treated us as friends rather than clients, Their first concern was that we had a good time. As we traveled back to Athens Angela went out of her way to recommend last minute visit to Nafplio and even arranged for us to return a bit late so we could make the most out of our trip.

I cannot recommend KimKim enough for their attention to detail and concern for us to have the best trip possible. From a logistics and planning standpoint it was one of the best vacations I have ever had. Thanks Angela and thanks Kim Kim.

We travelled to Costa Rica with Kimkim in February this year and it was a trip that will stay with us forever. This was our first international trip in 2 years since the pandemic hit us and we approached it with a fair bit of apprehension. My partner and I knew that we wanted to travel but did not have the bandwidth to research and build a trip of our own given our busy work schedules. Enter Kim Kim! Over the past few weeks....everytime our friends ask us how our trip was, we have one answer - We just showed up and it was phenomenal!  I am someone who likes to research and ensure I have a heady mix of different activities combined with time to relax built into my trip. Yenyi and Brittany at KimKim made sure to listen to what I had in mind and worked with me to build a trip that was beautifully tailored to the experience we were seeking and at a budget that was conducive. Given the uncertainties with the pandemic, I will forever be thankful to a team that aims to have the customer at the center of everything they do - they not only helped us schedule and reschedule the trip but also were available for us every step of the way before and during our vacation. Planning the trip through KimKim was super easy and efficient. Lucia worked with us beforehand to plan the perfect Nicaragua trip! She was even extraordinarily helpful when there was an issue with the airlines and submitting the covid test on time. She somehow was able to work her magic and contact someone locally to make sure we got on the plane and also when the plane was delayed causing a missed flight was able to accommodate and change our transfer -- all which we would not have been able to do on our own and probably have missed out on the trip! The hotels she booked were awesome as were our guides (particularly Freddy and Oscar!) One thing that could have been better would have been checking in throughout the trip. I felt that once we got to Nicaragua, we did not hear from her as much and she was harder to get in contact with. I have traveled a few times with KimKim in the past and each time, the local specialist had checked in daily to make sure everything was going well and to give the more detailed time/itinerary/packing list/guide info for the next day. This would've been very helpful, and just a nice gesture all around. Even when we sent her a message, she did not respond (we had to call in order to get in touch with her). Aside from this the trip was great!

Beatriz was extremely responsive and created the perfect itinerary for our once in a lifetime Honeymoon! She was available for any additional help while we were in Portugal which gave us peace of mind for anything from where to get a bite to eat to ensuring our drivers arrived on time. Beatriz and the KimKim team created the most PERFECT honeymoon above and beyond our wildest dreams! Thank you for giving us the most MAGICAL trip to celebrate our marriage!

This was the most memorable and educational trip of my life. Mathias was very attentive to every question I had. He kept in touch with me. He even checked on my health condition and my husband's injury while we were away. I cannot say enough good things about him.

Our first guide, Sebastian, was a very fun young man to be with. He was polite, attentive, and laughed with us. He was very knowledgeable about the country of Ecuador. He will go far in his career as a guide.

Our guide in the Cuyabena reserve, Fabian, was fun to be with as well. He and the indigenous people of the rainforest were very attentive in our care in a land where we were so isolated. We learned so much about the native people and how they live. When my husband Russell was bitten by a piranha while trying to take it off the hook, Clever, the indigenous young man knew exactly what to do treating his wound with medicine taken from tree bark. He was absolutely amazing in rowing the canoe even at night, and his knowledge of the rainforest.

I love the peace of the rainforest; no traffic sounds, not even an airplane flew over; just the sounds of the wildlife and downpours.

The highlight of the trip was seeing a tapir in the wild and even getting pictures! I am still amazed.

This was the most BEAUTIFUL place we stayed. The gardens are breathtaking. Leo is an excellent host. The food was good, and we really enjoyed the cooking school and waterfall hike.

Do not stay here if you need modern conveniences. It is a wonderful rainforest home, kind of like camping without the work. It was a wonderful experience for us. Fabian was a great guide and fun to be with. The indigenous staff were wonderful. I wish we could speak their language so we could have interacted more. We learned about how people live in the rainforest. We enjoyed the beauty and wildlife. The highlight was seeing a tapir!!! Not many people are this lucky!

Tips for future travelers

Do not bother with makeup for fixing your hair. If you are picky about food do not stay here. I highly recommend it for the adventurous nature lover. Not a good place for small children.

Nothing can be improved being deep in the jungle. But the comfort is the best that can be expected without air conditioning and iced drinks. I craved cold drinks but they were room temperature.

This is a luxury jungle motel. You get air conditioning and gourmet food. Our guide Oscar was a walking encyclopedia. He knew every tree, plant, and bird by scientific name. The only thing I was not crazy about was the evening meal. They put more effort into a fancy presentation than in flavor. The lunch meal was the best meal.

I traveled with my wife to Morocco and found it to be the best vacation I ever had. We did the taste of Morocco which covered Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, Volubilis, Moulay Idris Zarhoun, Meknes, Middle Atlas, Midelt, Erfoud, Merzouga, Tinghir, Todra Gorge, Boulmane Dades, Dades Valley, Ourzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Marrakesh and Casablanca. All the people were amazing. Abdellah from Original Travels hand picked everyone based on what we told him we wanted to experience. He was also kind enough to meet with us on our day in Marrakesh. In Fes we had Alami Mohammed. He was amazing and arranged a private tour of the tannery for us. I’m Marrakesh we had Othman Dadda. He taught us a lot of the history in Marrakesh and was always joking and jolly. We learned a lot about the Berber Culture because of our guide, Samir. Samir was an amazing guide. He was always concerned about our well being and it came from a genuine place. We were never cheated in the market place because the guides that were with us were always ensuring we were getting the best prices. All the people that were chosen in those cities had a deep knowledge of the culture. We were able to see the Touareg and they also shared with us their culture. There was never a moment we ever felt unsafe and with Samir we always felt that we were with our brother. The most difficult part of the trip was when we had to part ways with Samir. I felt quite emotional on that day particularly because I felt like I was leaving my brother who I would not see for a long time. But I am sure I will go back and when I do it will be with original Travels. Their service was excellent and I am sure no other place can come close to their professionalism and care for top quality customer service.

I would recommend the same guides we had. They are great. As for the driver, all I have to say is Samir, Samir, Samir !!!!
He was amazing and I really felt like I left family in Morocco.
