We were very disappointed that about 10 days before our trip, our hotel in Cinque Terre was downgraded significantly. The only way I was notified was when our final travel documents and train tickets were sent to us via email, there was one small line in the itinerary that said "Hotel changed to....." Then the description proceeded to describe the other, nicer hotel we had supposedly booked at for the agreed-upon price. When we attempted to reach Matthew multiple times and ways, we got no reply. Thus for our honeymoon delayed from 2020, 3 nights out of 7 were at a very average hotel. As 50-something professionals, we would not have chosen that hotel for our honeymoon. Also, when we got to Rome for our "VIP tour," with a private tour guide, we had to wait in line for over 30 minutes and I noticed our guide had tickets that said "last minute tickets." We had planned this trip for over 2 years, so there shouldn't have been any "last minute" tickets at all. Our guide, while nice and funny, had only a 6/10 command of English (acknowledging his English is better than my Italian, but for a tour guide.....) Some questions he simply didn't answer because he didn't understand. We used Google translate when necessary. On the plus side, Sabrina, from KimKim in the US, did try to rectify the situation for us and did comp us a meal out for the less than great service provided by Matthew and Bellarome travel.

We had a 30 day trip so it involved quite a few hotels. We loved the variety of places that were selected and really enjoyed all the locations. Our guide in the Caingorms Steve Beddick was excellent. He had great knowledge of the history and the wildlife in the area. Our guide Chris on the Isle of Lewis was equally as exceptional and provided an excellent tour. Our accommodations in Lewis the Broad Bay House was one of our favorite locations. The Inn keepers were very skilled and provided a relaxing stay. The activities that were scheduled for us were all interesting and enjoyable. I wouldn’t have left any of them out. There were a few hiccups but someone was available to put things right cheerfully and in good order. You provided what we hoped for, a trip of a lifetime and we made many memories that we will cherish.

We had a wonderful trip to Spain planned by Yuri! We visited Madrid, Barcelona, and Costa Brava. Starting in Madrid, our favorite places were: Retiro Park and the Palace. We had wonderful, private palace tour with Enrique. He shared so much history with us!
Our time in Barcelona was amazing! We were lucky enough to have private tours of the Gothic Quarter and Sagrada Familia. Both tours were insightful and we learned so much. It was also nice to have some free time on our own in Barcelona. One evening we had a sunset cruise which was absolutely a fantastic adventure- we enjoyed every moment.
Our time in Montserrat was unforgettable with a hot air ballon ride with Kon-Tiki. This excursion was completely worth getting up early! :) We enjoyed the hot air balloon ride, and the trip to Montserrat.
After being on the go, it was nice to go at a slower pace on our own in Costa Brava. Yuri picked the perfect Hotel for us- Park Hotel San Jorge. We enjoyed the beach, pool, spa, and restaurants there. It was nice to unwind and enjoy the last few days of our Honeymoon.
Overall, we had the most amazing experience! It was so nice to have everything planned out for us. Kim Kim made it easy! We enjoyed having guided tours, but also having the flexible schedule to do things on our own too. It was such a nice balance. Our Honeymoon was a once in a lifetime trip and we had the best experience!

This hotel was in the absolute best location in Madrid. We could literally walk to everywhere we wanted to go! Take a few steps and you are in Plaza Mayor with so many restaurants and shops. Our room was a little on the small side, but it was worth it for the location. Breakfast was very good and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Spain, expertly organised by Paty and backed up by all the wonderful drivers and guides. The countryside, the cities, the people and the food were most amazing. We especially loved the Cathedral of Seville and the Royal Alcazar, also the Alhambra Palace in Granada. We loved wandering the streets and enjoying the local food. Our drivers have all been punctual, courteous and efficient, and our guides have all been most engaging and enthusiastic. We would especially would like to mention Aldada, Lola and Alex who were all a delight to meet and who elevated our experience with knowledge, fun and laughter. They obviously love their jobs. The organisation and the communication from Paty and others has been most efficient. It was so good knowing that I could message her at any time if I had a question or a time delay and she would respond immediately. Hotels that were organised by Paty have been excellent, and the details given prior to checkin heightened the anticipation. We felt comfortable and secure with all the arrangements at all times and have fallen in love with Spain. Thanks to all.

Highlight of the experience:
- Meet & Greet responded fastly and efficiently when I needed to cancel and then shortly after rebook the whole trip because of a personal accident I suffered on the day I was supposed to fly to Italy. They were very understanding of the situation and reacted to my input as quickly as possible. Rosanna was the contact through all this challenge an she was very good.

Points for improvement:
- Cecilia took too long to disclose the names of the hotels for my appraisal. I became uncomfortable and decided to do my own research. I picked hotels for Rome and for Taormina, but when I communicated these to her she told me the hotels had already been selected and I would have to pay a penalty fee for changing hotels (even though she had not disclosed which hotels she picked at that time).
- In the Rome hotel, I asked Cecilia to make sure breakfast was added to the booking. After the booking was made I asked her to reconfirm breakfast had been added, which she did. When I finally received the detailed itinerary I discovered the breakfast had not been added after all. On the upside, after having been informed what happened (Cecilia was on holiday), Rosanna agreed that Meet & Greet would include breakfast and take care of the associated costs as compensation for Cecilia's mistake.
- The hotel in Sorrento was too far away from city center - I suppose this was intentional in order to provide the guest with a privileged view of the city, which in my case was not nearly worth it. I tried to walk to city center but the way there is not safe as there are no sidewalks and the pedestrians need to dispute space with cars on the road.
- Once again I felt that the travel plan was made by putting together pre-packaged activities, but apparently, there was no concern to see how these pieces would fit together, and how would the final product impact the user experience. As an example, for some activities hotel pick-up was included, while for others it was not. Because of the issue around the location of the hotel, transfers from and back to the hotel were important. I asked Meet & Greet and they said the reason for the disparity was the fact that the hotel pick-up was already included by a supplier of a certain activity, but the same did not happen in other activities. They therefore took no ownership of the user experience as if it were not their problem, just a matter of supplier selection.

Antonia is the absolute best travel agent ever! She planned every detail and tailored the trip to our needs. Her attention to detail is unrivaled.
Ivo from Octopus transportation drove us to all the destinations on time and in style. We felt very safe and at ease with him at the wheel.
Tour guide at Plitice was fantastic.
Tonche at Villa Toni, the nicest, friendliest man that I have ever met. He kept very good care us in Split.
Stipe our personal Skipper was amazing. Again, we felt safe and at ease while he steered the ship.
Josip, excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide in Hvar. We learned and saw all the wonderful places on the island.
I loved Hotel More. Friendly staff and gorgeous views.
Really everyone we interacted with in Croatia were amazing and we felt very well taken care of. I recommend kimkim travel to all my family and friends.

We had an incredible experience in Croatia thanks to the amazing Antonia! Her planning, recommendations, and attention to detail ensured we had an unforgettable vacation that was completely stress free.
Hvar was our favorite location, but we enjoyed everywhere we visited. All of our booked experiences were excellent, but we’ve listed our three favorites below.
In Hvar, our guide Grgo took us on a private tour of the island, where we learned about the island’s history and the locals. We enjoyed his family’s natural wines in their Konoba with cheeses, meats, and olives, and were brought to a restaurant in Yelsa for a delicious seafood dinner. This was one of our very favorite things we did on the trip!
After arriving in Dubrovnik, we were taken by private driver to Ston (about an hour drive). There, we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery as were taken by boat to a floating bar. Unlimited fresh oysters, muscles, wine, and bread were prepared for us on the water. We enjoyed learning about the oyster farm and our guide even sent us home with the shells of the oysters we ate for crafting.
Sea kayaking in a small group around Dubrovnik’s city walls and local islands was so fun and beautiful. Our guide, Roger, was knowledgeable and friendly, and shared information with us about Dubrovnik’s history and natural beauty. We enjoyed snorkeling, swimming in caves, and catching some sun on the pebblely beaches.
Of all the food we ate in Croatia, our favorite meal was at Panorama in Dubrovnik. Antonia helped us secure cable car tickets and a reservation along the fence, looking over the city at sunset. It was incredible. We were impressed by the service, cocktails, appetizers, and (of course) our meals! The sea bass was SO good.
All in all, an amazing trip. Thanks again to Antonia for the guidance and excellent support!

Hotel More in Dubrovnik was stunning. I was initially skeptical about the location, as it was not walking distance to downtown, but wow - I am SO glad we stayed here instead of in the immediate downtown area. The hotel was beautiful and the sea view from our balcony was unforgettable. The breakfast service, cave bar, pools, and cocktail/dessert bar made the stay extra enjoyable. We could have spent an entire day at Hotel More, just enjoying the amenities, and been totally satisfied. Would highly recommend!

We were so lucky to stay on the 3rd floor at Devecchi Rooms. The suite was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. Everything was within walking distance and Devecchi Rooms is in the perfect location - in the middle of everything, but also on a relatively quiet street! We were so impressed that they pre-packaged a breakfast for us the morning of checkout, even though we were leaving prior to breakfast service starting. The service was friendly and they were very accommodating! We had an excellent experience staying here and would recommend to others!

We received the most warm and hospitable welcome at Villa Toni in Split! They took the time to review a map with us and make recommendations on where to go and what to see while we were there. We were very comfortable in the room and loved the walk ability to everything we wanted to see and do while there. Even the breakfast was excellent. Ston Oysters Experience & Wine Tasting

This is one of our favorite things we did on our entire trip. The floating oyster bar was so unique and in such a beautiful location. Oysters are great in any setting, but this was truly unforgettable! We had unlimited oysters, muscles, wine, and bread. Our guide even boiled our oyster shells after we told him we wanted to save some and bring them home. We told us how we can preserve them and taught us all about the oyster farm and the local town (Ston). To top off the excursion, the wine tasting with Josip at Milos was incredible. The wines were so complex and delicious, with such a range in flavor and style. We even decided to buy some to have shipped home to the USA. Worth it! Would highly recommend!

Full Day Boat Tour to Blue Cave & Pakleni Islands

We enjoyed this tour and we had a great, friendly captain. The sites we visited were beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. The blue cave was amazing - worth the wait (~20 minutes), and there’s a bar there! All in all, I’d recommend a half day instead of a full day tour. It was a long day by the end.

We can’t say enough about this experience. We loved meeting Grgo and learning about the island and it’s history. We enjoyed driving views, seeing abandon towns, walking through charming little cities, and tasting delicious wines in an authentic family Konoba. The evening was topped off with a seafood dinner at a lovely local restaurant in Yelsa. We would highly recommend this experience to travelers! It was truly unique and something we’ll never forget. Overall a great trip and your recommendations of places to visit and tour guides to use were excellent. Particularly liked the Duro Valley and Belman tours as the guides did a great job ensuring that we saw the best attractions without wasting time in long lines. Pickup and drop off at the airport and hotel was fairly seamless and our driver got us right to the baggage drop off before sending us on our way.

Would certainly utilize Kim Kim again on our next trip. So much time and energy is saved by having the private tours and destinations prearranged.

The trip overall was great, and we will come back for sure. The two challenges I had were as follows:
1) Hotels and rooms were good, but not great (except on Westman island). I would have gladly paid more for nicer rooms, and thought I had communicated that.
2) My biggest frustration was with the glacier hike and ice cave tour was the size of the group. I explicitly asked for a maximum of 6-8 in tour, and there were 13 and 24 respectively! I was told they would be,, yet the groups were too large slow, and far less enjoyable. They both offered private tours which would have been much better and I will do on the next trip.

KimKim took the worry out of planning our trip to Colombia. Our local specialist, Wendy, was always accessible and did a wonderful job coordinating all of our city-to-city flights, ground transportation, and excursions (including local English speaking guides at each destination). My family visited Bogota for two days (visiting Museo del Oro, Museo Botero, Cerro de Monserrate, Catedral de Sal, and Andres Carne de Res Chia), Eje Cafetero for 3 days (visiting Cafe La Morelia coffee farm, Valle de Cocora horseback riding and hiking, Finlandia, Salento, and Panaca) and finally, Cartagena for 2 days (visiting Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, Convent of Santa Cruz de la Popa, Getsemani, the walled city, Baru & Isla Rosario). It was a FABULOUS trip celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary -- and we will never forget it!

Our only two complaints were (1.) visiting the "Encanto House" in Finlandia --which was not a house at all & was very under-whelming!) and (2.) Our trip to Baru and The Rosario Islands which took far too long to get to (over 5 hours). We let our specialist, Wendy, know about these two complaints and she was very apologetic & did her best to rectify the problems.

We will definitely use KimKim again inthe future and recommend to family & friends!

It's been years since we used a travel agent. We are confident & regular international travellers, and well used to booking our own flights, hotels, restaurants and so on. But when we decided to visit Croatia, we realised we needed a bit of extra help. The country was unfamiliar, our plans slightly complicated, and we wanted to pack a lot into our two week trip. And having been denied a decent holiday for a couple of years, we wanted this one to be special.

So we chose Kim Kim. And boy was that a good decision! We were blown away by the personalised planning, the thought, the attention to detail. Right from the first tentative thoughts about where to go to the last airport cab, Kim Kim made sure everything was seamless.

The whole process feels really personal, right from the start. They work hard to tailor the trip to your individual needs, and take a lot of trouble going back and forth to get it right. And the web interface and the app that help you to keep track of your plans, not only before but during your trip, are very slick and user friendly. Little details like being able to download ferry tickets directly onto your phone make things very smooth.

But the thing that really made a difference was having one person looking after us throughout. Antonia, our local specialist, was AMAZING! To be honest, I was a bit sceptical at first about how much personal contact we would really get once the plans were finalised and the trip paid for. But Antonia was there by our side (virtually at least) every day of the trip, messaging us each morning to remind us of our plans, sorting out things like restaurants, trips and even laundry. As my wife said, it was like having a butler!

This probably wasn't the cheapest way to travel, but it was the best. We packed so much in, and had so much fun, with so little hassle. We will definitely be going back to Croatia, which may well be our new favourite destination, and we will definitely use Kim Kim again.

Slightly out from the old town, but cabs are plentiful (including Uber), so no problem. Part of a modern resort complex with several hotels, restaurants, bars and pools clustered together. That would not normally be our taste, but it is very tastefully done, and it means you have a range of places to eat, drink and so on. Great facilities. Shame we were only there for a short visit! Oh, and the most AMAZING sea views!

Elafiti Islands - Private Half Day Speedboat Tour

Great trip round the islands near Dubrovnik. Various chances to swim, including swimming into two sets of sea caves, which was awesome! Our skipper got us to the Blue Cave before the crowds, and I have to say swimming into it was an amazing experience. A little nervy, but definitely worth it!

Our first experience of sea kayaking, and a great place to do it. Sea was utterly calm. Kayaking was just the right balance of challenging and do-able (we are a middle-aged couple with a teen, and not very sporty). Loved the little islands, including one recently visited by both Beyonce and Bill Gates, tasting the local snacks and wine, and seeing the deer on the Monastery Island.

Activities great. The kayaking in Flam was really good. The person responsible excellent. (I think her name was Rea). The RIP boat person was also excellent.
The only thing is that the hotel booking in Oslo was not good. I know I have asked Meree for a hotel in Oslo in a reasonable price, but this was very different from all the hotels we stayed.
We went our for a brekfast since the breakfast hall was so poor and smelly.
But overall it was a wondeful week million thanks to Meree and Kim Kim.

This tour of Georgia exceeded my expectations. Lela went above and beyond the usual duties of a tour guide as she cheerfully and tirelessly introduced me to the history and culture of her country going from site-to-site. Her English was great! I have never seen anything like Uplistsikhe; it was fascinating to behold. I had some unexpected yet important life-lessons taught to me as I visited the Green Monastery and Vardzia. Our driver Nika seemed to be very familiar with the roads. His driving was efficient yet careful, and he exhibited great patience! The food was fabulous. As a solo lady traveler, I felt safe at all times. I will always remember my time here and highly recommend this tour!

I feel that Dean did not want to plan a trip that was not self guided. We stated our interests but received very little information about where trails for hiking were. We actually ended up researching our hikes ourselves. When I asked about where to rent bikes, I received no specific In formation on rental facilities or biking paths . The staff were responsive while we were there and encountered a flat tire. Maria was very nice .and followed up to make sure we were ok. I have had other trips with KimKim and received much more personalized service. I would use KimKim again, but would not recommend it in Ireland.

Alisha was really helpful in her recommendations and customizing the trip! She also provided timely responses which was appreciated.

The trip overall was great- Hasan was our driver guide and he was so friendly and gave us a great overview of Malaysia's history and areas we visited. He even showed up one day when we didn't expect to see him in order to make sure we got picked up by our other local tour guide. All the pick ups/drop offs went very smoothly. We really enjoyed our time in Teman Nagara, Cameron Highlands, and Penang.

Two minor hiccups-
1) When we checked in at Taman Negara, the resort had listed us as participating in different activities than what we expected on the itinerary: no biggie though, it was easily switched around without extra cost!
2) Our itinerary didn't list what time our dinner was in Penang, and we completely forgot to ask about it. A guide showed up to our hotel and waited for an hour to meet us (which we feel so badly about) but we were already in the town! We didn't make it to the dinner but I'm sure it would have been delicious!

I'd definitely book another trip with KimKim based on this experience!

I started planning this trip in 2019 and because of COVID, had to reschedule it a few times. It began with about 15 people in the group and we ended up with a group of seven senior women. Our guides on the mainland (Marco and Gorge) were outstanding, very patient and knowledgeable.

We spent two nights at the Napo Cultural Center which was the most memorable for me. The staff was very accommodating, food delicious and watching the macaws at the clay lick was amazing.

Robi was terrific.

He has incredible knowledge of Croatia and really tries to cater to you by creating an itinerary matched to your interests and then executing.

For us, he created a plan for our 10 day trip which matched exactly what we were looking for. It was a lot of fun and we did all the activities that we were interested in such as biking, walks, city tours, wine tasting, yachting on a rented catamaran with a captain, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, great recommended restaurants etc.

Everything was well planned and executed. You really appreciate the depth of his knowledge when he suggests the actual time of day to go and do certain activities and makes specific recommendations based on the time of the year and the expected crowds. We went in August and Robi had specific suggestions of places and times that would avoid the crowds and give us a unique tailored experience. His hotel recommendations were top notch and fitted within our budget too.

Robi is fun to be with and is a walking encyclopedia on Croatia and on activities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for your trip. You can't go wrong.

Our trip to Croatia was really amazing!! Robi (Robert, our local tour guide) was absolutely fantastic. He was constantly in touch with us throughout the trip guiding us, helping us, going out of his way to help us enjoy our vacation. He met us personally at Ston and showed us around the town and treated us with dinner. When I left my shoes in a Ston hotel room ( and went to Dubrovnik) he personally arranged to get those shoes delivered to me! Every step of the way Robi was there. All the local guides that Robi arranged for to give us city tours like Bruno in Zagreb, Pero in Split and Antea in Dubrovnik were fantastic too. The car that we drove was arranged by Robi to be Delivered in our hotel at Zagreb. That was very helpful! Also, at the conclusion of our road trip the car was picked up by the rental agency right in Dubrovnik without any hassle. Robi even drove the car from Ston to Dubrovnik to give us a break and helped haul the luggage through the streets of Old town to our hotel. The airport transfer was also arranged perfectly by Robi. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable vacation, made special by Robi's constant help and guidance.

Pradeep was great with planning our trip. He stayed in touch with us the entire time. Faheem was great, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Noor was also a great tour guide. If you get any of these guys your in for a treat. Also get the WhatsApp( they use it) Pradeep I hope your feeling better and thank you Faheem for being an awesome/amazing tour guide, and Noor thank you for being a great tour guide and thanks to all the classy Uber drivers. I will never forget my experience in Dubai and all the amazing people I met💕💕💕❤️

We had an amazing experience with Marina. She went the extra mile when we had to reschedule the trip due to COVID and again when there was an airport strike that forced us to shift the trip by a day. She put together an amazing itinerary for our Lisbon trip and the tour guides/drivers she found were outstanding. Would recommend her to anyone wanting to have a great trip in Portugal.
